Abstract

Millennials and Generation Z, especially those under 30, show strong interest in digital investment but often feel uncertain due to a lack of knowledge and confidence. This study aims to explore their perspective on online investment platforms by focusing on their motivations, goals, obstacles, and needs. The research begins with Desk Research and User Interviews, which are analyzed using Affinity Diagrams to understand these key areas. Based on the findings, a User Persona is created to represent typical users, offering insights into their behaviors and preferences. Additionally, a User Journey is mapped to illustrate users' activities before and after gaining investment experience. The study identifies the ‘Ardian’ Persona, a Millennial who is motivated by the desire to learn, save, and generate additional income. Ardian values safe and user-friendly investment platforms that meet his needs while avoiding potential obstacles. The User Journey reveals that before gaining investment experience, users focus on preparation and self-education, while after gaining experience, they shift their focus to managing investments to achieve their financial goals. This research contributes to UX by providing two key documents: the User Persona and the User Journey. These offer a detailed view of user motivations, challenges, and needs, which can guide the design and improvement of online investment platforms to better serve Millennials and Generation Z users.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between seven stress factors identified by the Short Version-New Brief Job Stress Questionnaire (SV-NBJSQ) Indonesian version and overall job stress among employees in Greater Jakarta and Bandung. The research design is structured to systematically gather, analyze, and interpret data to address the study's research questions, which aim to identify significant stress factors and develop an objective model for calculating and categorizing stress levels. The data analysis involved two main components: calculating the Stress Index and classifying stress levels, followed by analyzing the structural relationships between the seven factors and job stress using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The research found that depression symptoms are the most significant predictor of job stress, while physical reactions, anxiety symptoms, and fatigue symptoms also showed positive but lesser correlations. Moreover, the research validated the use of the SV-NSQ in Indonesia, providing a localized tool for assessing job stress.

Abstract

With the rapid development of the digital economy in Indonesia, the development of digital banking has a great opportunity to grow. The potential to meet customer needs and expectations for faster and more efficient banking services based on digital technology has made the image of digital banks more popular among the public, especially for young people. This study explores the effectiveness and completeness of regulations governing the use of technology in Indonesia's rapidly transforming digital banking sector, which is currently undergoing a transformation process. By evaluating the current regulatory framework, the study provides insights into potential gaps and areas where the regulations may need to be strengthened or updated to ensure the secure and efficient operation of digital bank services. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the banking sector contributes to the transformation to digital banking, especially in identifying fraudulent attempts, assisting in the process of surveillance, analysis, and evaluation of transactions, as well as improving the standards of credit scoring, customer service, and automation. This article provides an overview of considerations if Indonesia implements international standard regulations for the security of cyber systems for the smooth running of digitalbank services. This paper emphasizes the need to implement a collaboration-based approach by involving government, industry, academia, and civil society to strengthen global digital resilience and security. The application of DORA principles in Indonesia can help strengthen the digital infrastructure of banks in the country.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of student participation and perception in applying the project-based learning model, specifically through video projects, in the civic education course, to evaluate the implementation of this learning model in the course, and to identify the skills that can be developed through its application in the form of videos in civic education. The study used mixed methods during the even semester of 2022/2023 (February 8-May 8, 2023). The research was conducted within the S-1 English Language Study Program at FBSB UNY, focusing on the application of a video project in the Civic Education course. The research narrows down the problem into three main objectives: (1) to analyze students' level of participation and the perception in application of the learning model to be applied in the civil education course; (2) to evaluate and identify skills that need to be developed in the use of the video in the curriculum. The results show that students' perceptions of the implementation using the video are very good with a percentage of 33% and good with the percentage of 60%. Students' perception of the development of skills in editing videos, teamwork (collaboration), problem solving (problem solving), speaking in front of the camera, and time management were also very good. This study provides insights into students' perceived benefits of using the model and the specific skills cultivated, such as creativity, collaboration, and digital literacy.

Abstract

Micro-Credential Certification Schemes are increasingly essential in business management education for several reasons, including flexibility, relevance to industry trends, recognition of skills, modular learning, and career development. The research aims to develop a comprehensive micro-credential certification framework that aligns with national standards, business technical standards, and regulations, addressing the need for industry-recognized certifications. Furthermore, the research focuses on developing a Semester Learning Plan (SLP) based on the Integrated Certification Scheme and the instructional design, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive approach to learning and certification. The R&D method is selected to systematically develop and refine an instructional design that harmonizes with this certification system. The data analysis will involve qualitative analysis using thematic analysis to identify key themes and patterns from interviews, observations, and document reviews, which will help assess the strengths and weaknesses of the educational program and the certification scheme. The formative evaluation results of students participating in the entrepreneurship program totaling 74 students will be used to evaluate the perceived value of the certification framework. The integration of the micro credential certification with instructional design has also proven effective in enhancing graduates' competitiveness in the job market, supporting career development through modular learning that is aligned with industry trends.

Abstract

A sense of school belonging that tends to be low has an impact on problematic behavior at school, so effective psychological intervention is needed. One form of intervention carried out is gratitude intervention. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of gratitude interventions in increasing the sense of school belonging of high school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of experimental research, and the design used is a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design. The research was conducted on students of SMA Negeri 5 Soppeng with 34 students. The determination of research participants was using the purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained by filling out the Psychological Sense of School Membership (PSSM) scale before and after the gratitude intervention. The validity of the PSSM scale was calculated using the Aiken's V test and obtained a coefficient of 0.88, while the reliability test used Cronbach's Alfa, with a reliability coefficient value of 0.86. The data analysis technique uses the N-Gain score test. The results showed that the average score of sense of school belonging before the intervention was 40.15, while after the intervention it increased to 73.5, the results of the hypothesis test using the difference index (N Gain Score) recorded an increase of 55.9. Thus, the hypothesis in this study is accepted, which means that gratitude interventions in schools are quite effective in increasing the sense of school belonging of high school students.

Abstract

Islamic jurisprudence has been widely used in addressing modern bioethical issues, such as in vitro fertilization (IVF). However, few studies have explored the application of Tafsir Ahkam in modern medical ethics. This research presents a novel approach by integrating classical Islamic judicious principles with modern medical ethical issues. The research is conducted through literature review on classical and contemporary texts related to ushul fiqh and fatwas concerning IVF in Indonesia. The aspects explored include Imam Al-Juwayni's thoughts in his work "Al-Burhan fi Ushul al-Fiqh," the use of the principles of the Islamic law in modern fatwas, and the Islamic legal approach to bioetics. The findings of this study are expected to provide practical recommendations for Islamic scholars and policymakers on how to interpret modern medical issues from an Islamic legal perspective.
