Abstract

The current industrial era is extremely fast-paced and dynamic. Companies require employees who can adapt quickly and enhance the company's competitiveness through innovative ideas. The aim of this study is to examine the role of Learning Agility as a predictor of Innovative Work Behavior, with Job Crafting as a mediator. Learning agility is the ability to quickly learn new skills and adapt to changing situations. Innovative Work Behavior involves identifying problems and implementing new ideas. Job crafting refers to how employees adjust their job demands and resources. This study was conducted with 158 employees, aged 18–58 years, with a minimum of one year of work experience. The measurement tools in this study were the Learning Agility Scale by Wardhani et al. (2022), the Innovative Work Behavior Scale by Jong & Den Hartog (2010), and the Job Crafting Scale by Tims et al. (2012). Data processing was carried out using IBM SPSS Statistics 30.0. The results of the study showed that Learning Agility has a significant influence on Innovative Work Behavior (p=.000; p< .05), Learning Agility has a significant influence on Job Crafting (p=.000; p<.05), Job Crafting has a significant influence on Innovative Work Behavior (p=.0426; p<.05), and Job Crafting partially mediates the relationship between Learning Agility and Innovative Work Behavior. The implications of this study suggest that managers and employees should develop Learning Agility capabilities and implement Job Crafting strategies to exhibit Innovative Work Behavior.

Abstract

As a premier tourist destination and an important transit hub in Indonesia, Bali requires airport waiting facilities that are not only functional but also comfortable and meaningful. The Concordia Lounge at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport serves as an exclusive space that offers such an experience. This study aims to examine how non-physical interior elements—such as emotional comfort, perception of facilities, and integration of local culture—shape the sense of place and enhance user satisfaction. Using a qualitative approach through observation and semi-structured interviews, this research explores users’ perceptions of spatial atmosphere and emotional attachment to the place. The findings indicate that emotional comfort and facility quality are dominant factors influencing user experience. A tranquil atmosphere, privacy, cleanliness, seating comfort, and personalized service contribute to emotional attachment. Elements such as warm lighting, incense scents, and traditional decorations reinforce the local Balinese ambiance. This study highlights the importance of non-physical elements in creating a waiting space that is not only functionally comfortable but also emotionally engaging through user experience design and place-making approaches. These findings provide insights for lounge operators to improve service quality based on user experience. These insights demonstrate the strategic importance of non-physical elements in designing executive lounges that support user experience, enhance spatial identity, and reinforce the overall image of airport services.

Abstract

Oil loss during Crude Palm Oil (CPO) processing poses a significant challenge for palm oil mills, leading to decreased productivity, economic losses, and reduced sustainability. This study aims to identify and reduce the causes of oil losses at PT. XYZ in Central Kalimantan using an integrated approach of Six Sigma and Fuzzy Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The research was conducted by analyzing production data from June to August 2024, focusing on oil losses in press cake fiber, empty bunches, and final effluent. The Six Sigma DMAIC method was applied to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control critical factors in the process. The Fuzzy FMEA was used to prioritize potential failures and reduce subjectivity in risk assessment. Results show that final effluent contributed the highest oil loss (37%), followed by press cake fiber and empty bunches. The overall process achieved a sigma level of 4.11, indicating potential for further improvement. Key causes included inconsistent separation processes and inadequate operator monitoring. Suggested improvements involve automation, SOP enforcement, and visual aids through poka-yoke mechanisms. This research provides valuable insights for quality improvement and operational efficiency in the palm oil industry and can be adopted by similar processing plants seeking to reduce losses and increase competitiveness.

Abstract

Postpartum second-degree perineal lesions are common and trigger an inflammatory response with an increase in IL-6. Suboptimal treatment risks prolonging the inflammatory process and inhibiting wound healing. Piper betle Linn is recognized as an herbal ingredient with anti-inflammatory potential; its nanospray formulation is believed to penetrate deeper layers of the skin, thereby accelerating wound healing. This study evaluated the effectiveness of a 7% betel leaf extract nanospray on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum care. The study employed a true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group, involving 40 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. The variables examined were the use of 7% betel leaf extract nanospray and the healing of grade II perineal wounds. Data analysis was conducted using the Kruskal-Wallis test and the Mann Whitney, followed by the Wilcoxon test. The findings demonstrated that administration of Piper betle Linn 7% nanospray extract significantly accelerated perineal wound healing, as measured by the REEDA scale (p < 0.05), with the majority of the intervention group (65%) exhibiting good healing. However, there was no significant difference in IL-6 levels between the intervention and control groups (p > 0.05). Piper betle Linn 7% nanospray extract is effective in accelerating the healing of grade II perineal wounds in postpartum mothers, as indicated by a decrease in REEDA scores, but does not significantly affect the reduction of IL-6 levels.

Abstract

In a modern democratic system, the enforcement of ethical norms is a crucial aspect in maintaining the integrity and public trust in state institutions and strategic professions. However, there are still many ethical violations that are not handled adequately due to the limitations of existing legal mechanisms, especially when the violations are not categorized as criminal acts. Therefore, the urgency of establishing an Ethics Court is becoming increasingly relevant as a means to enforce moral standards, clarify the boundaries of professional behavior, and provide proportional sanctions for ethical violations. The Ethics Court can function as an independent institution that bridges legal norms and social norms, strengthens the internal oversight system, and encourages the creation of a culture of transparency and accountability. This study aims to analyze the concept, needs, and possibilities of implementing the Ethics Court in Indonesia by reviewing various comparative studies and applicable normative frameworks. It is expected that the results of this study can be an initial contribution to the discourse on the formation of effective and adaptive ethics institutions in the context of contemporary democracy.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the growth of digital-based businesses in Indonesia, creating new challenges in legal aspects. Digital businesses cover various sectors, such as e-commerce, financial technology (fintech), and other digital platform-based services. Along with these developments, various legal issues have emerged, including consumer protection, personal data protection, electronic transactions, and dispute resolution in digital businesses. Therefore, a comprehensive legal review is needed to understand the applicable regulations and mechanisms for handling digital business legal cases in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the legal framework governing digital businesses in Indonesia, examine the dispute resolution mechanisms in digital businesses, and identify challenges in implementing existing regulations. This study uses a normative legal research method, which focuses on the analysis of laws and regulations, legal doctrines, and relevant literature. The approaches used include a statute approach to examine regulations related to digital businesses, as well as a conceptual approach to understand the legal theory that supports legal protection and certainty in this sector. The analysis results are expected to contribute to more effective digital business development regulations and encourage the creation of a legal system that is adaptive to technological developments. Additionally, this study aims to provide recommendations for the government, regulators, and business actors in increasing legal certainty and protection for parties involved in digital business in Indonesia. Thus, it is expected that digital business legal regulations can further support a safe, transparent, and sustainable business ecosystem in the digital era.

Abstract

Migrant workers constitute an essential component of the global labor landscape, including in South Korea, which has experienced increasing reliance on foreign labor across various industrial sectors. Their presence significantly contributes to national economic growth, particularly in occupations that are less desirable to the local workforce. However, behind these economic contributions, migrant workers often face serious challenges related to legal protection, fundamental rights, and guarantees of decent welfare. Many encounter discriminatory treatment, inhumane working conditions, and obstacles in accessing legal justice. Within this context, it is crucial to evaluate the policies formulated and implemented by the South Korean government in protecting migrant workers. This study adopts a normative juridical method, using legislative and conceptual approaches. This method enables the examination and analysis of applicable legal norms, both within South Korea’s domestic regulations and in international legal instruments such as ILO conventions and relevant human rights declarations. The analysis is conducted through the review of primary legal materials, including statutory regulations, as well as secondary sources such as literature, scholarly articles, and academic documents discussing legal protection, workers' rights, and principles of social justice. The study aims to develop a normative understanding of how the state should ensure the rights and welfare of migrant workers in a fair, equitable, and humane manner, and to provide a theoretical foundation for the development of more inclusive and responsive labor policies.

Abstract

The SEA Teacher program, initiated by SEAMEO, is a regional effort aimed at enhancing educational cooperation within the ASEAN region through student-teacher exchanges among member countries. The program was launched to address the growing demand for higher quality education, promote regional identity, and foster cross-cultural understanding amid globalization. This study aims to analyze the SEA Teacher program as a form of public diplomacy, emphasizing the people-to-people approach, which strengthens relations among ASEAN citizens through educational and cultural exchanges. Employing a juridical-normative methodology with both conceptual and legislative approaches, the study examines how laws and policies support the program's implementation and explores the concepts of public diplomacy and soft power within the education framework. The study's findings reveal that the SEA Teacher program plays a crucial role in educational diplomacy, enhancing the image of participating countries, fostering communication between nations, and reinforcing regional solidarity through the direct experiences of participants in diverse cultural settings. Furthermore, the program demonstrates that educational exchange serves as a strategic tool of public diplomacy, enriching academic experiences while fostering social trust and regional integration in ASEAN. The legal and policy implications include the need for harmonized regulations regarding academic recognition, the protection of participants, and strengthened institutional commitments to exchange programs as part of foreign policy initiatives focused on education and culture.

Abstract

The National Health Insurance (JKN) Program in Indonesia faces significant challenges in law enforcement against fraudulent activities by health facilities. Despite the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation No. 16 of 2019, which addresses fraud through administrative sanctions, the regulation has shown limitations, particularly the absence of criminal sanctions. This study utilizes a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and descriptive-analytical specifications to evaluate the current regulatory framework and the need for stronger legal measures. The analysis reveals that the current sanctions, limited to warnings and fines, lack a deterrent effect, enabling repeated fraudulent practices that undermine the JKN system. This paper suggests the introduction of criminal sanctions, which would align the regulation with the broader legal framework, including the Criminal Code and anti-corruption laws. The implications of this regulatory gap are significant, as it hampers the effectiveness of law enforcement, impacts public trust in the system, and threatens the sustainability of health services. Strengthening the regulation will improve accountability, ensure transparency, and protect citizens' rights to health services, ultimately fostering a more robust and reliable national health insurance system.
