This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using pre-tests and post-tests combined with interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement and understanding in an Industrial Ecology course within an Engineering Management program. Given the theoretical nature of the subject matter, this research seeks to address student disengagement and boredom by integrating regular assessments and group activities. The study was conducted with a cohort of students enrolled in the Industrial Ecology course. A structured lecture format was employed, incorporating pre-tests at the beginning of each class, followed by theoretical presentations, post-tests, and interactive group assignments. The pre-test and post-test questions were identical to assess retention and attention. Student engagement was measured through participation rates, test scores, and feedback surveys. Group activities were designed to foster discussion and critical thinking, with peer evaluations conducted to ensure active participation. The results indicated a significant improvement in student engagement and understanding. The average post-test scores increased by 20% compared to pre-test scores, demonstrating enhanced retention of the material. Student feedback revealed a higher level of interest and motivation, attributing it to the interactive and structured nature of the classes. The novelty of this approach lies in the systematic use of pre-tests and post-tests to maintain attention and the integration of interactive elements to counteract theoretical boredom, offering a practical solution for similar educational contexts.

Due to the wide range of interactive learning programs like Duolingo, teachers are increasingly relying on these platforms. This study utilizes an Experimental research methodology, which involves modifying or measurement of variables, the specification of the sample or population to be examined, the selection of a suitable sampling method, the selection of a data collection and analysis approach, and the determination of the necessary statistical test. The sample comprised 30 students from Muhammadiyah Istiqomah 1 Senior High School, who were selected using random sampling. The participant currently enrolled in language classes and should not have any previous experience with Duolingo. The study included pre-test and post-test measures, consisting of 4 sections derived from Duolingo, specifically targeting English language proficiency in speaking, writing, and reading. After implementing Duolingo as a new interactive learning tool, we conducted pre-test and post-test assessments to evaluate students performance. The researchers assessed the statistical significance of the result by employing T-test in SPSS. The use of smartphones in the STIBA Makassar environment has the potential to cause students to tend to behave defiantly, especially in aspects of the Sharia and its practice, and is not in line with what is expected. With concerns about this potential, regulations limiting the use of smartphones have been established as an Islamic social control so that guidance in the STIBA Makassar environment can run as expected and be able to direct students to maintain their behavior in life. This research was conducted with the objectives, namely to analyze the influence of regulations limiting the use of smartphones as Islamic social control on overcoming student behavior at STIBA Makassar. This research uses primary data through questionnaires and a quantitative approach through Descriptive Statistics techniques, and component or variant-based Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the research show that the Regulations Restricting the Use of Smartphones as Islamic social control have a positive and significant influence on the Management of Student Behavior, which means that the higher the quality of the implementation of the Regulations Restricting the Use of Smartphones, the higher the quality of the Management of Student Behavior.

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation, learning facilities, and learning materials on students' understanding and attitudes through online learning. The research method used is quantitative with data processing using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results showed that the independent variables in the form of motivation, learning facilities, and learning materials had an influence on the understanding variable with different levels. Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the emergence of understanding. Likewise, the learning material variable has a positive and significant effect on the understanding of the learner participants. Meanwhile, learning facilities do not have a significant effect on understanding. In the next stage, the understanding variable has a positive and significant influence on the formation of participants' attitudes. This is in accordance with the expected goal in the activities of the Ministry of Finance for One State, the emergence of a generation that has great concern for state finances in the future. Among the three independent variables studied, the learning material variable has the greatest influence on the formation of a good understanding and the emergence of a positive attitude towards state finances. This variable is able to give the greatest influence on the participants' understanding until it finally has an impact on their positive attitude towards state finances. This also shows that the learning materials provided in the activities of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia are appropriate, according to the needs of the participants so that they have the greatest influence on the understanding and formation of participants' attitudes.

The learning of high school chemistry is divided into two phases, E and F. One of the materials in phase E that is difficult for students to understand is atomic structure. The objective of this study is to ascertain the impact of cooperative learning on students' comprehension. The comprehension of learners can be gauged by the outcomes of their learning during cooperative learning. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 15, Semarang City, Central Java on 10 February 2024. The subject of the research was the entire X2 class of SMAN 15 Semarang in the academic year 2023-2024, comprising 36 students: 18 male and 18 female. The study employed a one-group pretest-posttest design. The objective of this study was to assess the impact of cooperative learning on students' learning outcomes. The study comprised three stages: a pre-test, a treatment period, and a post-test. The students' scores on the pretest ranged from 40.00 to 75.00, while their scores on the posttest ranged from 60.00 to 90.00. The values obtained from the pre-test and post-test were added to the data set and analysed using the normalised gain (N-Gain) test. The N-Gain test results indicated a value of 0.48, which signifies that the students' perception of their understanding of chemical concepts increased when they were taught using a cooperative learning model. Consequently, the endeavour to enhance students' comprehension of chemical concepts pertaining to atomic structure through the utilisation of a cooperative learning model was a resounding success.
