Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi pembelajaran INSTAD terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain posttest only non equivalent control group design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Batik 1 Surakarta, menetapkan variable keterampilan proses sains yang diukur menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes tertulis. Aspek mengamati, mengelompokkan, mengkomunikasikan, merancang percobaan, dan melaksanakan percobaan diukur dengan lembar observasi, sedangkan aspek merumuskan hipotesis diukur dengan tes tertulis. Dua kelas ditetapkan dalam penelitian sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pemilihan kelas tersebut dilakukan secara clustered random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran INSTAD berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa.   Kata kunci:  Keterampilan Proses Sains, INSTAD

Abstract

Biakan murni Jamur tiram putih(Pleurotus ostreatus var. florida) merupakan pembibitan tahap pertama yang berperan sangat penting dalam budidaya jamur tiram. Pertumbuhan miselium biakan murni jamur tiram putih membutuhkan karbohidrat, protein, mineral dan vitamin. Air cucian  beras berpotensi sebagai medium biakan jamur tiram putih karena mengandung karbohidrat, protein, mineral, dan vitamin yang dibutuh-kan dalam pertumbuhan jamur tiram putih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) menguji pengaruh medium air cucian beras dalam beberapa konsentrasi terhadap kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium jamur tiram putih; 2) menentukan konsentrasi medium air cucian beras terbaik yang menghasilkan kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium paling tinggi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium Mikrobiologi, jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Malang pada bulan Februari-April  2013. Jenis penelitian ini ialah penelitian eksperimental. Rancangan yang digunakan ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan macam konsentrasi  air cucian beras 0% (sebagai  kontrol negatif), 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, dan medium Potato Dekstrose Agar  (sebagai kontrol positif) yang diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Pengukuran diameter koloni dilakukan pada hari ke-4, hari ke-7 dan hari ke-10 setelah inokulasi. Diameter koloni diukur berdasarkan rerata diameter koloni dengan arah horisontal dan vertikal. Kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium diperoleh dengan cara menghitung selisih diameter akhir dengan diameter awal kemudian dibagi rentang hari.Data  kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium dianalisis dengan menggunakan Analisis Varians Tunggal 5% dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) 5%.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1)  terdapat perbedaan pengaruhmacam konsentrasi medium air cucian beras terhadap kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium jamur tiram putih; 2) konsentrasi medium air cucian beras terbaik ialah konsentrasi 90% yang menghasilkan kecepatan pertumbuhan miselium jamur tiram putih paling tinggi. Perlakuan kontrol positif dengan medium PDA menghasilkan diameter koloni lebih kecil dibandingkan diameter koloni pada perlakuan medium air cucian beras konsentrasi 90%. Abstract

This research is based on the learning done by the teacher now giving more lectures so that it seems boring for the students. This resulted in the difficulty of students achieving the expected competence due to lack of trained to develop the critical thinking power of students in solving problems. o overcome these problems, it is necessary to improve learning by doing action research class (PTK) using Herbarim media based inquiry. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted with 2 cycles, that is cycle I and cycle II. This research was conducted at MA Mambaul Ulum Dagan Paciran Lamongan Academic Year 2017/2018 with the subject of the research is the class X students of IPA with 30 students consisting of 19 male and 11 female students. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes MA Mambaul Ulum especially class X. Data collection techniques used are: observation, tests and questionnaires to determine the response of students to the media herbarium. The results obtained that the Improvement of Student Learning Results Using Inquiry-Based Herbarium Media On Plantae Material Class X can be done well, this can be seen from the results of the percentage of students' learning completeness from cycle I which reached 77% in cycle II increased to 90%. As for the students response to learning is 87% of students express agree or happy with the applied learning model. The conclusion of this research indicates that the use of Herbarium Media Based Inkuiri can improve student learning outcomes in the material Plantae class X MIPA MA Mambaul Ulum Dagan Paciran Lamongan Year Teaching 2017/2018.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) Biology student teachers in designing learning scenarios at the moment to take a course Biology Learning Strategy. This research is descriptive exploratory study. The population were all fourth semester students who take a course in Biology Learning Strategy totaling 140 students. Samples taken at random sampling two classes (63 students). The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that 75% of students are still difficulties in determining the appropriate materials with basic competence selected. Selection of many theoretical material, only 25% of students who chose contextual material and are directly related to the lives of learners. 60% of students on average chose teaching media in the form of power point slides and video. Preparation of the average slide is still much in the form of minimal explanation and illustration. The selected videos most movies are full length making it less effective used in the learning process. Selection of quite varied learning methods, 50% chose a lecture and question and answer, 25% choose the method of guided discovery, and others prefer a combination of lecture with methods that emphasize student activity. In general, students are still confused in determining the proper method in accordance with the characteristics of the material being taught. From the analysis of learning scenarios developed generally known that students have a mastery of the knowledge of the content (C) and pedagogy (P) were quite good however, the link between pedagogy with content (PCK) is still lacking, especially in selecting methods and instructional media in accordance with material characteristics and levels

Abstract

A good learning depends on the curriculum representative. Curriculum representative is realized by using facilities and subject matter to get competency. The purpose of curriculum 2013 at Junior High School is expected that students have factual knowledge, conceptual, prosedural and related whith real problem, so it is able to interact with the social and natural environment, to act effectively and creatively in the realm of the abstract and concrete. In this case the background of paper is describing the alternative by using contextual multimedia at Ecosystem matter on the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. PBL as the model includes all developing curriculum or sets developing that presenting an real and meaningful problems to make their students conduct investigations. It is relevance with Ecosystem matter emphasize the real problems in the environments. Learning activities which student are able to understand the problems, will have critical thinking about a phenomenon in environments.The use of multimedia is one of alternative to orient on real problem with more efficient when direct observation is not able to be implemented. Educators want to be responsive and creative which presenting any problem to make their students get critical thinking. Some suggestions to educator in order that they are able to present real problem with observation or with multimedia. The use of technology as learning media must be based on the requirement and it can not separated with the role of educator as fasilitators. Keywords: contextual multimedia, ecosystem, PBL model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendiskripsikan keanekaragaman tanaman  di sepanjang tebing sungai Dengkeng yang berhulu sungai di gunung Merapi serta pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas tebing sungai. Asumsi dasar dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa semakin baik dan stabil kondisi tebing sungai, maka semakin baik kualitas air sungai tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melakukan survey dan pendataan jenis dan jumlah species tanaman yang tumbuh secara alami maupun yang dibudidaya oleh masyarakat di sepanjang daerah aliran sungai dengkeng. Dari hasil penelitian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kondisi tebing sungai Dengkeng perlu mendapatkan perlakuan khusus dengan menambah jenis maupun jumlah tanaman yang sesuai untuk konservasi daerah aliran sungai.  Kata kunci  :    Keanekaragaman Vegetasi, Kualitas Tebing Sungai, Kualitas Air Sungai,  Koinservasi Daerah Aliran Sungai

Abstract

The 2013 curriculum has a pattern in which to create a creative Indonesian human being. The creative thinking abilities is important because it makes learners have many ways to solve problems with different perceptions and concepts. Compenents of creative thinking abilities include fluency, flexibility, and novelty. Problem solving can be used to increase motivation and cultivate creative traits. The purpose of this research is to describe the achievement aspect of each level of student’s creative thinking ability Program Biology Education of Lambung Mangkurat University in problem solving of plant ecology. This research method using quantitative approach and descriptive research type. Quantitative data from the result of student answers do written tasks that will be analyzed in percentage, then coverted into data description. The result of achievement aspect of each level of student’s creative thinking ability student of Biology Education Lambung Mangkurat University in problem solving namely the creative level with fluency aspect is high, flexibility and novelty is medium. The quite creative level with fluency, flexibility and novelty is medium. The less creative level with fluency is medium, flexibility and novelty is low.

Abstract

Abstract-Platycerium bifurcatum is a fern which has potential as ornamental and medicinal plant. Study aimed to determine presence ofthis plant conducted in Purwodadi Botanic Garden using cruising method in 176 plots of plants collection in the gardens area. The results showed that Platycerium bifurcatum found growing spread on 28 plots and stick to the14 species, 14 genera and 12 family of host plants. Mostly it grow wildon some the host plants. The most dominant of the host is Albiziasaman (Jacq.) Merr. with relative frequency value was 59.155%. Keywords : Platycerium bifurcatum, ornamental plant, host, fern

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menggambarkan profil komposisi jenis dimensi pengetahuan dalam proses pembelajaran biologi pada materi sistem reproduksi di kelas XI MIPA SMA X Surakarta dengan SKL pada kurikulum 2013. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah guru dan siswa SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. Sampel penelitian adalah guru bidang studi biologi dan siswa kelas XI MIPA dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama proses pembelajaran. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil penelitian mengambarkan komposisi jenis pengetahuan dalam pembelajaran materi sistem reproduksi yaitu mencakup pengetahuan faktual, konseptual, prosedural, dan metakognitif, dengan jumlah kegiatan pembelajaran yang berbeda-beda berdasarkan karakteristik, metode, dan model pada masing-masing submateri pembahasan
