Abstract

The purpose of this study are to determine, access and analyze both descriptively and verificative of school / madrasah head master competency, teacher motivation, competency and performance, and also alumni competency. The method which used to analyze is path analysis. Determination of sample is use Slovin formula and to get the sampling result we use cluster proporsional stratified random sampling. Data collection is done by distribute questionnaire, interview and literature study. The descriptive results of this research show that there are weaknesses in managerial and academic supervision competency aspect of school/madrasah head master. In the teacher motivation variable, we found weakness in remuneration of the job and the quality of work environment aspect. The weaknesses of teacher competency are in the social and professional competency. We also found that the teacher performance has weakness in the aspect of evaluation or assessment of learning. In alumni competency we found the weakness in student knowledge. The verificative result found that school/madrasah head master competency, teacher motivation, and teacher competency have positive and significant impact on the teacher performance, both partially or simultaneously. Teacher performance has positive and significant impact to alumni competency.

Abstract

The aims of this study to determine the impact of customer value and customer relationship marketing to customer satisfaction and its implications on customer loyalty. The research method used is descriptive verification method. The population is business customers of PT. Deanstey Modish Raya Bandung with the surveyed sample was 112 respondents. Survey mamanfaatkan google form for the deployment and filling questionnaire. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The result of the research shows that the respondents think that customer value variable, customer relationship marketing, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty are in good category, but many indicators are still not optimal. The influence of customer value on customer satisfaction is 32.3% positive and significant, the influence of customer relationship marketing to customer satisfaction is 13.7% positive and significant, the influence of customer value and customer relationship marketing to customer satisfaction simultaneously is 82.2% positive significant and the remaining 17.8% is influenced by anything else beyond this research. The last influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty is 84% positive significant and the remaining 16% influenced by other things outside this research.

Abstract

Academic information system is one of the information systems that can be applied in producing quality information so that it is expected to improve the quality of service for students and decision makers by stakeholder’s policy. This study intends to determine the effect of academic information system quality on the attitude and intention to use of students in colleges of High School of Economics in Bandung. The research method used survey of students by using first order structural equation modeling. The results showed that the quality of academic information system significantly influence the attitude and behavior of student reuse. The results of this study are expected to be useful for the development of science in the field of management, especially information systems management in universities.

Abstract

Numerous problem occurs due to many complaints from the public regarding the services in the "public services sector," especially services that deal directly with the community. This condition is allegedly due to poor employee performance. This study tries to determine the effect of transformational leadership on intrinsic motivation and work commitment and its impact on employee performance. This research carries out a survey of employees in an agency in West Bandung Regency to address the problems. Furthermore, this study uses the path analysis approach with SPSS. The results show that there is an influence of transformational leadership on intrinsic motivation and work commitment and its impact on employee performance.

Abstract

The background of this research based on the phenomenon that is where employees performances are not optimal so that the development of the companies currently not optimal. As for the main factor is the low of job satisfaction. Based on preliminary research, low job satisfaction caused by non-optimal of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and the limited motivations of the employees PDAM’s in Banten Province. This study aims to acknowledge and analyze The Impact of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Culture, and Work Motivations on Employees On The Job Satisfaction Employees PDAM’s In The Province Banten. This study used a descriptive approach and verification, and the research method used descriptive and explanatory survey. In this study, the samples are all employees of PDAM’s in Banten Province as much as 285 Employees. The analysis method of this study is the Path Analysis. The research concludes that there is a The influence of the Transformational Leadership on Job Satisfaction of 23,32 percent, The effect of Organizational Culture on Job Satisfaction of 8,12 percent, the effect of Work Motivation on Job Satisfaction at 10,28 percent. Simultaneously influence of independent variables on the Job Satisfaction of 69,02 percent of the remaining 30,98 percent is that other factors are not studied, but also influence on Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

The development of the consumption sector has a rapid and sizeable upward trend due to consumer’s consumptive tendencies. The role of purchasing decisions is essential. Thus, this research tries to find out the purchasing decisions that are influenced by promotions and brand image. The research method of this study is a survey approach to consumers by using purposive sampling. To process the data, this study uses path analysis. The results find there is a significant influence of promotion and brand image on the decision to buy shampoo in Bandung. This finding indicates the critical role of promotion and brand image in increasing the shampoo purchasing decisions, specifically in Bandung.

Abstract

The oil and gas industry is a driver of the country's economy. The availability of oil and gas products is related to the quality of the product. This study aims to examine the role of laboratories in moderating the influence of the continuous production process on the quality of oil and gas products. Positivism approach is carried out by surveying supervisor level employees with stratified random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is done by structuring equation modeling approach. The results of the study prove there is a moderating influence of the role of the laboratory in improving the quality of oil and gas products through a continuous production process.

Abstract

Banking services are financial institutions as intermediation in financial services. It plays an essential role in enhancing the company's operational activities. People's credit bank, which is a financial service, contributes to the development of small and medium enterprises. Competition in financial services, especially people's credit banks, which is increasingly stringent requires increasing the quality of their services to increase their customer satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on customer value and trust as well as its implications on customer satisfaction analyzed by a survey approach to rural credit banks in the City/Regency of Bandung, West Bandung, and Cimahi. The samples are 384 customers with the Cluster Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, which is processed by path analysis. The results indicate that there is a significant influence on the service quality to customer value and trust and its implications for customer satisfaction. The results of this study contribute to the development of a study in the marketing field, specifically customer satisfaction in the financial services sector as the people's credit bank.

Abstract

Research on work engagement has proven by previous studies that showed constructive, positive behaviors related to work. Several studies used the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) instrument, but evidence of instrument construct validity is only available in some countries. This study investigates the validity of UWES constructs using a multisample in several sectors in the Greater Bandung Region, Indonesia. The approach to testing validity uses confirmatory factor analysis with the Lisrel 8.8 program tool. The results of the study showed that version 17 of the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) instrument was valid and realistic in a multisample in several industrial sectors in the Greater Bandung Region, Indonesia. The research implications can recommend the use of version 17 of the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) instrument to measure Work Engagement at the individual level in the organization.

Abstract

Hospital gives health services to the publict to fulfill the patients’ needs and wants. They provides excellent image in production and high quality service. The public’s awareness is increased on the importance of health. Therefore, the best health service is urgently needed. Thus, there must be a further study about the quality of public hospital in Bandung. This study uses the descriptive verificative method. Moreover, this study uses path analysis to analyze the data. There are 317 respondents from four public hospitals as the samples with accidental sampling technique. The result shows the impact of direct evidence, empathy, reliability, responsiveness, the certainty on patients of private hospital are 83.5%. While the other factors that were not analyzed and have an impact on patients’ satisfaction is shown by epsilon 0.165 or 16.5%. Hopefully, the result of this study is beneficial for the growth of management science, especially the marketing management of private hospital in Bandung.
