Abstract

The property sector is one of the industrial sectors that has a vital role as an indicator of a country's economy condition. The level of industrial development can be seen from the dividend policy in the form of cash dividends given to the shareholders as a return of operational activities. The amount of provided cash dividends is one of the essential considerations for investors in investing their capitals in companies. Some previous studies show that the profitability and capital structure has a significant role in influencing dividend policy. Thus, this study examines the influence of these two factors on dividend policy. The results of the study prove that profitability has a positive and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of 0.610. Meanwhile, the capital structure has a negative and significant effect, with a regression coefficient of -0.030. The total effect value of the two variables is 68%, while the remaining 32% comes from the other variables that are not used in the research model.

Abstract

The development of communication technology has pushed fierce competition between each telecommunications service provider company in Indonesia. Therefore every company needs to understand services that can satisfy consumers to maintain it so that it does not move to compete for products. This research conducted to validate the scale of service quality measurement that can satisfy Telkomsel pre-consumer consumers in the city of Bandung. The study conducted using the EFA method with the Principle Axis Factoring (PAF) technique. Testing in this study conducted using Telkomsel prepaid consumers in Bandung as many as 237 respondents. The results showed that eight factors formed service quality, namely empathy, facilities, customer reliability and independence, employee attractiveness and facilities, employee competence, assurance, communication skills, and information quality. These factors are called prequal, which is the development of a validated instrument.

Abstract

CSR is an important issue in ensuring the survival of the business world today. CSR is a form of the company's concern economic, social, and environmental based on three basic principles that include profit, people and planet. The benefits derived from the application of CSR is to increase the reputation or image and add or increase the strength and image of the company, access to capital, maintaining the quality of human resources, and facilitate risk management.This research aims to identify and analyze the implementation of CSR, corporate image and influence the implementation of CSR in the economic, social and environment against corporate image Grand Clarion Hotel Makassar. This study was designed with the form of quantitative and survey method. Types of samples in this study is nonprobability Sampling, ie accidental sampling and convenience sampling, the sampling technique based on coincidence and convenience as many as 70 respondents who are the target communities CSR, employees and society around the hotel at the time of the study and according to the characteristics of the desired sample , Data were analyzed using path analysis.The results showed that (1) the implementation of CSR in the economic, social and environmental dimensions at high category indicating that CSR has been implemented properly by the Grand Clarion Hotel Makassar, (2) a variable image of the company shows the number of 4.05, which means that the company's image in this hotel is very high GCM and (3) the variable implementation of CSR in the economic dimension, the social dimension and environmental dimensions has direct and indirect influence positively significantly to the image of Grand Clarion Hotel Makassar.To create a positive image for the company, it is one thing to do is implement a CSR program both on the economic, social and environmental. Corporate Image is able to provide many benefits to the company so that the necessary efforts to improve its image in the minds of customers. Corporate Image is the company's intangible assets, and CSR is an investment to improve the asset. CSR can create economic, social, and a better environment will enhance the company's image in the eyes of customers.

Abstract

Previous research shows that compensation has a positive effect on employee empowerment and discipline. In this study, the authors conducted a more specific study of the impact of indirect compensation on employee discipline that is preventive mediated by employee empowerment. This research is a survey of bank employees at one bank in Bandung with 30 random employees simple random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing using PLS-SEM. The results showed that there was a significant effect of indirect compensation on employee empowerment and preventive discipline. The research implications indicate that indirect compensation can increase employee empowerment and preventive discipline.

Abstract

The development of information technology in Industry 4.0 has an impact on changes in organizational climate. This change in organizational climate causes changes in the interaction patterns of organizational members. This study aims to determine how the image of organizational communication climate after changes in Tendik's career patterns for the human relations approach. The survey method was conducted by involving 325 respondents for 3 (three) months. The results of the analysis show that the organizational communication climate is still below positive, meaning that education personnel generally have a perception that is above neutral towards the communication climate that develops in the organization. Managerial implications need interaction intensity, which will further encourage leadership to appreciate the achievement of work targets achieved by subordinates to motivate employees to improve competence further and provide excellent performance.

Abstract

The provision of goods is one way to meet consumer needs. Excellent service quality and the applicating the affordable prices is one of the activities to achieve customer satisfaction. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of service quality and price to customer satisfaction. The results reveal the problems regarding customer satisfaction with service quality and pricing. It is due to the lack of quality of services and the applied price. Therefore, it cannot increase customer satisfaction and decrease the level of consumers’ arrival. This research uses the questionnaire method with 100 respondents. The research applies verification analysis to analyze the data, consisting of multiple linear regression analysis and partial test (t-test) and simultaneous test (F-test). The results indicate that all independent variables as service quality and price, have a positive relationship. It is in line with the dependent variable, the consumer satisfaction. Hypothesis testing by using t-test shows two independent variables significantly affect consumer satisfaction. The F-test reveals these two variables affect customer satisfaction. The adjusted R-square of 0.620 indicates that the independent variable explains 62.0% service quality and price influence on customer satisfaction. The rest of 38.0% explain other variables outside the variables used in this research, such as promotion, distribution, value, and the others.

Abstract

It can not be denied that the role of leaders in improving organizational progress. This has been confirmed by previous researchers. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership function in increasing the motivation and commitment of employees in one agency in Bandung. Sample taken from one of the government agencies in the city of Bandung that serve the problem of tourism. Quantitative approach is done in answering the objectives of the study. The results support previous research that leadership functions have a significant effect on employee motivation and commitment. This shows that the role of leaders in improving employee motivation and commitment plays an important role in the organization in order to achieve organizational goals that have been established.

Abstract

The rapid development of Muslim fashion in Indonesia, making Indonesia a leading Muslim fashion trend. With so many young Indonesian designers introducing Muslim fashion throughout the world and succeeding in kicking off fashion, able to make homeland mode the world's spotlight. The method used in this research is descriptive and verification methods. The samples taken in this study were respondents who were consumers of Mezora Buah Batu Bandung with 96 respondents with accidental sampling technique. The results showed the direct effect of brand image by 5.5%, while the indirect impact was 8.1%, so that the total effect of brand image on purchasing decisions was 13.6%. For the location effect directly 42.5%, while the indirect effect is 8.1%. So the total influence of Location on purchasing decisions is 50.6%. The results showed that the variable Brand image (X1) and Location (X2) simultaneously influence the purchase decision with a total influence of 64.2%. In comparison, the remaining 35.8% influenced by other variables outside this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine teacher competence and character values' effect on teacher performance and its implications for children's learning outcomes in elementary schools in Cileunyi sub-district, Bandung regency. This research was conducted in Elementary Schools, Cileunyi District, Bandung Regency, with a sample of 93 teachers. The research method used is a descriptive method of analysis using path analysis. The results of this study are as follows: there is an effect of teacher competence (X1) on teacher performance (Y) with a total influence of 32.8%. Character values (X2) on teacher performance (Y) with an overall influence of 30.47%. There is an effect of teacher competence (X1), and character values (X2), simultaneously on teacher performance (Y) with a total influence of 63.3%. And the remaining 36.7% is a variable that is not examined in this study that affects teacher performance; 6) there is an effect of teacher performance (Y) on children's learning outcomes (Z) of 67.7%. And the remaining 32.3% is a variable that is not examined in this study that affects children's learning outcomes. This study concludes that it proves that there is an influence between teacher competence and character values on teacher performance and has implications for children's learning outcomes in elementary schools. Abstract

The phenomenon that occurs based on observations shows that teacher performance is not optimal; this is due to the presumption that professional competence and job satisfaction are not optimal. For this reason, this study aims to determine the influence of professional competence and job satisfaction on teacher performance. This study uses a survey approach method; the type of research is descriptive analysis—the data collection method done by interview, questionnaire, and documentation study. The data analysis method used is path analysis. This study's sample was 42 teachers in the Kindergarten Cluster in one of the districts in Bandung Regency. The results showed that professional competence and job satisfaction significantly affected teacher performance both simultaneously and partially. This result means that professional competence and job satisfaction can improve teacher performance.
