Abstract

This research uses a quantitative approach, in which symptoms are measured using numbers. The results of this study, from the results of calculations using the IBM SPSS Statistics version 22 for windows it is known that the tcount is 8.577. With α = 5%, dk = 62-2 = 60, a table value of 1,670 is obtained. From these figures it can be seen that tcount (8.577) > ttable (1.670), as well as the significance value of 0.00 <0.05, it can be concluded if the hypothesis is accepted, it means that there is an effect of organizational activity on the confidence of Semester IV and VI Students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program Tebingtinggi Islamic High School Deli. Based on the Adjusted R Square value of 0.543 or 54.3%, this shows that if the activity activeness variable can explain the confidence variable of 54.3% the remaining 45.7% (100% - 54. 3%) is explained by the variables Other variables not included in this study such as interpersonal communication, campus environment, learning achievement, peers, etc. are not meticulous in this study. From the results of a simple linear regression equation that has the formulation Y = a + bX + ɛ, the equation is Y = 19.032 + 0.855X. Which means that the constant value (a) of the dependent variable (Y), namely the confidence of 19,032, is positive indicating the predicted value of the average confidence variable will continue to rise by 19,032 units even though the activeness variable is zero, and the the regression coefficient value of the active variable is organized (X ) amounted to 0. 855 indicating a positive sign which means that it shows the magnitude of the role of the organized activity variable (X) on self-confidence with the assumption that the organized activity variable (X) is constant. This means that if the activeness factor increases by 1 unit of value, then it is predicted that self-confidence will increase by 0.855 unit of value assuming the variable of activeness is constant.

Abstract

Online learning has grown in popularity in Indonesia, particularly among people looking to gain new skills or improve their existing knowledge. The COVID-19 epidemic has exacerbated this tendency by necessitating the use of remote learning approaches. This study aims to discover students' initial expectations when they enroll UMN and the reality after they become UMN online learning students The urgency of this research is based on the fact that the dropout rate at UMN is roughly 28%. Dropout may be harmful to both the individual student and the institution, thus it is critical to address the underlying reasons of dropout and develop effective ways to encourage student success and retention. The gap between expectation and reality is crucial to understand because it can influence the creation or modification of policies designed to protect students from dropping out. This qualitative research applies data collection using FGDs involving 40 UMN online learning program students. One of the most interesting findings from this research is that online learning students were surprised to learn about the SKKM policy, which they did not expect. The majority of students who are workers admitted that it was difficult to set aside time to do additional activities to collect SKKM points.

Abstract

Oil palm fronds are waste from the harvesting process that is routinely carried out by oil palm plantation business actors. Oil palm fronds can be obtained throughout the year along with harvesting fresh fruit bunches.Based on availabilitycontinuously, palm fronds can be used as processed products, one of which is as an alternative feed for ruminants as a substitute for grass so that it can be used as animal feed. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential of palm fronds and leaves as goat feed in Nagan Raya district. This research was conducted in Nagan Raya Regency in several stages, namely demand and availability, internal and external conditions. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the average feed requirement per 1 year old goat ready for slaughter in Nagan Raya Regency is around 990 kg. In a month, goats need as much as 90 kg of feed with a composition that is usually done by goat breeders as much as 40% grass and 60% palm fronds and leaves so that in 1 Ha of Oil Palm Plantation it can meet <52 goats (composition of 60% Palm feed = 54 kg , 40% grass feed = 36 kg). It can be seen that the development of goat farming will be influenced by various conditions, namely internal and external. This condition can be seen by using a SWOT analysis to find out what are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for farmers. External conditions on goat farms are everything that is outside of the condition of the livestock that can affect the sustainability of the livestock business.
