Abstract

ABSTRACT The transformation of vocational high schools into Regional Public Service Agencies (BLUD) is expected to make schools more independent, flexible, transparent, effective, and efficient. A number of SMKNs in West Java have been designated as BLUD since 2021. This study aims to determine whether the transformation of SMKN governance into BLUD status has an impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of SMKN BLUD performance in West Java. A descriptive quantitative research approach was used. Data were collected through questionnaires, group discussions, and document observation from 7 SMKN BLUD selected by simple random sampling. The analysis of BLUD management effectiveness used the Glickman quadrant, while the efficiency analysis used the DEA model utilizing the StataMp application. The analysis results indicate that governance is positioned in Quadrant II (effective), while 6 out of 7 BLUD vocational high schools are categorized as efficient. This efficiency is reflected in how inputs (students, teachers, and funding) are utilized to generate optimal performance outputs, such as industry partnerships, graduate employment, Tefa revenue, and teacher competency certification. Thus, the transformation of vocational high schools into BLUD status indicates an improvement in school performance in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. ABSTRAK Transformasi SMKN menjadi berstatus Badan Layanan Umum Daerah (BLUD) diharapkan sekolah menjadi lebih mandiri, fleksibel, transparan, berkinerja efektif dan efisien. Sejumlah SMKN di Jawa Barat ditetapkan menjadi BLUD sejak tahun 2021. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah transformasi tata kelola SMKN menjadi berstatus BLUD berdampak efektifitas dan efisien kinerja SMKN BLUD di Jawa Barat. Menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, forum group discussion, dan observasi dokumen dari 7 SMKN BLUD terpilih secara simple random sampling. Analisis efektifitas tata kelola BLUD menggunakan kuadran Glickman, sedangkan analisis efisiensi menggunakan model DEA memanfaatkan aplikasi StataMp. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tata kelola berada pada kuadran II (efektif), sementara 6 dari 7 SMKN BLUD tergolong efisien. Efisiensi tersebut tercermin dari pemanfaatan input (siswa, guru, dan pembiayaan) yang mampu menghasilkan output kinerja sekolah secara optimal, seperti kerja sama industri, penyerapan lulusan, pendapatan Tefa, dan sertifikasi kompetensi guru. Dengan demikian, transformasi SMKN menjadi berstatus BLUD menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kinerja sekolah yang lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the managerial challenges faced by Christian Theological High Schools (SMTK) in Jayapura Regency and to formulate strategies to enhance their competitiveness. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving foundation leaders, school principals, and teachers. The findings reveal that SMTKs face systemic managerial challenges, including chronic financial crises, inadequate infrastructure, a predominance of honorary staff, and centralistic foundation leadership. Distinct from previous studies that predominantly focus on program evaluation (CIPPO model) and character education, this study offers theoretical novelty by integrating transformational leadership models and Total Quality Management (TQM) contextualized within the socio-cultural dynamics of peripheral regions, Furthermore, it positions the strengthening of religious moderation as a unique strategic variable to enhance social legitimacy and school competitiveness in pluralistic societies, Key strategies include diversifying funding through partnerships, vocational-based curriculum innovation, and the utilization of information technology. In conclusion, the synergy between adaptive leadership and governance reform is crucial for improving the quality and competitiveness of SMTKs in Jayapura. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tantangan manajerial yang dihadapi Sekolah Menengah Teologi Kristen (SMTK) di Kabupaten Jayapura dan merumuskan strategi peningkatan daya saingnya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap pimpinan yayasan, kepala sekolah, serta guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SMTK menghadapi tantangan manajerial sistemik, meliputi krisis finansial kronis, keterbatasan sarana prasarana, dominasi tenaga pendidik honorer, serta kepemimpinan yayasan yang sentralistik. Berbeda dengan penelitian terdahulu yang mayoritas berfokus pada evaluasi program (model CIPPO) dan pendidikan karakter, studi ini menawarkan kebaruan teoretis melalui integrasi model kepemimpinan transformasional dan manajemen mutu (TQM) yang dikontekstualisasikan dengan dinamika sosiokultural wilayah periferal. Selain itu, penelitian ini memosisikan penguatan moderasi beragama sebagai variabel strategis unik untuk meningkatkan legitimasi sosial dan daya saing sekolah di tengah masyarakat pluralistik. Strategi kunci lainnya mencakup diversifikasi pendanaan melalui kemitraan, inovasi kurikulum berbasis vokasi, serta pemanfaatan teknologi informasi. Kesimpulannya, sinergi antara kepemimpinan yang adaptif dan reformasi tata kelola sangat krusial untuk meningkatkan mutu SMTK di Jayapura.

Abstract

The low IPAS learning outcomes in Grade III of SD N 2 Wonoboyo with an initial mastery level of only 22.22% and an average score of 70.74 served as the background for this study. This condition indicates that conventional learning approaches have not been able to meet the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes meaningfulness and active student engagement. This research aims to improve learning outcomes through the implementation of the Role Playing method in the topic of family and community traditions. The design employed is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on Kurt Lewin’s model, using a mixed-method approach, conducted over two cycles involving 27 third-grade students. The data collection instruments consisted of a 20-indicator observation sheet, 15 multiple-choice items for the pre-test and post-test, interview guidelines, and documentation guidelines all validated through a Focus Group Discussion. Quantitative analysis used the mean score, classical mastery percentage, and N-Gain scores (Hake, 1999); qualitative analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed improvement in every indicator. The average class score increased from 70.00 → 80.00 (cycle I) → 90.93 (cycle II); classical mastery rose from 22.22% to 62.96%, then reached 100%. The average N-Gain was recorded at 0.31 in cycle I and 0.54 in cycle II (both in the medium category), with an overall N-Gain of 0.69 (medium category). Student activity observation scores also increased from the 57–62 range to 72–78.5. Interview data revealed that students felt more active and confident during learning. The Role Playing method proved effective and is recommended as an alternative contextual IPAS learning strategy in elementary schools. ABSTRAK Rendahnya capaian belajar IPAS di kelas III SD N 2 Wonoboyo dengan ketuntasan awal hanya 22,22% dan rata-rata nilai 70,00 menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional belum mampu memenuhi tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka yang berorientasi pada kebermaknaan dan keterlibatan aktif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui penerapan metode Role Playing pada materi tradisi keluarga dan masyarakat. Desain yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Kurt Lewin dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed method), dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus bersama 27 siswa kelas III. Instrumen pengumpulan data mencakup lembar observasi 20 indikator, soal pilihan ganda 15 butir untuk pre-test dan post-test, pedoman wawancara, serta pedoman dokumentasi seluruhnya divalidasi melalui Focus Group Discussion. Analisis kuantitatif menggunakan rata-rata, persentase ketuntasan klasikal, dan skor N-Gain (Hake, 1999); analisis kualitatif mengacu pada model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada setiap indikator. Rata-rata nilai kelas naik dari 70,00 → 80,00 (siklus I) → 90,93 (siklus II); ketuntasan klasikal melonjak dari 22,22% menjadi 62,96%, lalu mencapai 100%. N-Gain rata-rata tercatat 0,31 pada siklus I dan 0,54 pada siklus II (keduanya kategori sedang), dengan N-Gain keseluruhan sebesar 0,69 (kategori sedang). Skor observasi aktivitas siswa turut meningkat dari rentang 57–62 menjadi 72–78,5. Data wawancara mengungkap bahwa siswa merasa lebih aktif dan percaya diri selama pembelajaran. Metode Role Playing terbukti efektif dan direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran IPAS yang kontekstual di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The flow of globalization and digital technology penetration has gradually displaced local cultural symbols that form the foundation of indigenous community identity, including noken as a cultural heritage of the Tolikara people in Jayapura. This study aims to analyze the contextual theological meaning of noken as the cultural identity of the Tolikara community in the GIDI Calvari Koya Karang Jayapura Congregation. A qualitative method with an ethnographic-theological design was employed through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with church leaders, traditional leaders, and cross-generational congregation members. The results show that noken, known locally as Yumunggok, holds ontological depth as a "second womb" representing God's love and care for the Papuan people. Theologically, noken functions as a medium of faith inculturation embodying the values of koinonia (fellowship) and diakonia (service), transforming from a mere carrying tool into a sacred instrument in congregational worship. However, the continuity of this tradition faces serious challenges, including an identity crisis among younger generations due to modernization, lifestyle changes, and scarcity of natural raw materials. This study concludes that noken plays a crucial role as a theological instrument connecting local tradition with the congregation's religious mission, necessitating a revitalization strategy through culture experience and culture knowledge approaches within the church environment. ABSTRAK Arus globalisasi dan penetrasi teknologi digital secara perlahan menggeser simbol-simbol budaya lokal yang menjadi fondasi identitas komunitas adat, termasuk noken sebagai warisan budaya masyarakat Tolikara di Jayapura. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pemaknaan noken secara teologis kontekstual sebagai identitas budaya masyarakat Tolikara di Jemaat GIDI Calvari Koya Karang Jayapura. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain etnografi-teologis melalui observasi partisipatif dan wawancara mendalam terhadap tokoh gereja, tokoh adat, serta jemaat lintas generasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa noken, atau Yumunggok dalam bahasa lokal, memiliki kedalaman ontologis sebagai "rahim kedua" yang merepresentasikan kasih dan pemeliharaan Allah bagi masyarakat Papua. Secara teologis, noken berfungsi sebagai medium inkulturasi iman yang mewujudkan nilai koinonia (persekutuan) dan diakonia (pelayanan), di mana fungsinya bertransformasi dari alat angkut menjadi sarana sakral dalam peribadahan jemaat. Namun, keberlangsungan tradisi ini menghadapi tantangan serius berupa krisis identitas di kalangan generasi muda akibat modernisasi, perubahan gaya hidup, dan kelangkaan bahan baku alami. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa noken memegang peranan krusial sebagai instrumen teologis yang menghubungkan tradisi lokal dengan misi religius jemaat, sehingga diperlukan strategi revitalisasi melalui pendekatan culture experience dan culture knowledge di lingkungan gereja.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The background of this study is based on the important role of school principals in fostering students’ moral character in the digital era, which is marked by the strong influence of social media and changes in adolescent behavior. This study aims to describe the leadership style of the principal of Muhammadiyah Vocational High School 5 Karanganyar in improving students’ morals and to identify the strategies, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors involved. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research stages included data collection through in-depth interviews with the principal as the main informant, documentation of school programs, and descriptive-interpretative data analysis. The results showed that the principal implemented a democratic-transformational leadership style based on Islamic values emphasizing role modeling, deliberation, and empowerment. The leading strategies included linking viral topics with Islamic values, Friday religious studies with students serving as speakers in rotation, personal approaches through counseling spaces, and the habituation of a religious culture within the school environment. The main supporting factors were the principal’s commitment, support from teachers and parents, and the strong Muhammadiyah culture, while the inhibiting factors included the negative influence of social media and limited school resources. The main conclusion of this study indicates that spiritual-ihsan leadership is effective in creating a conducive school ecosystem for the sustainable development of students’ moral character in the digital era. ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dalam membina akhlak siswa di era digital yang ditandai dengan kuatnya pengaruh media sosial dan perubahan perilaku remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Karanganyar dalam meningkatkan akhlak siswa serta mengidentifikasi strategi, faktor pendukung, dan faktor penghambatnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah sebagai informan utama, dokumentasi program sekolah, serta analisis data secara deskriptif interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis-transformasional berbasis nilai-nilai Islam yang menekankan keteladanan, musyawarah, dan pemberdayaan. Strategi unggulan yang diterapkan meliputi pengaitan topik viral dengan nilai Islam, kajian Jumat dengan penceramah siswa secara bergiliran, pendekatan personal melalui ruang curhat, serta pembiasaan budaya religius di lingkungan sekolah. Faktor pendukung utama adalah komitmen kepala sekolah, dukungan guru dan orang tua, serta kultur Muhammadiyah yang kuat, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi pengaruh negatif media sosial dan keterbatasan sumber daya sekolah. Simpulan utama penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan spiritual-ihsan efektif dalam menciptakan ekosistem sekolah yang kondusif bagi pembinaan akhlak siswa secara berkelanjutan di era digital.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Excessive use of synthetic detergents has the potential to increase environmental pollution because non-biodegradable surfactants can reduce water quality and disrupt the balance of aquatic ecosystems. This study aimed to analyze the formulation and characteristics of herbal dishwashing paper soap made from duku peel (Lansium domesticum), watermelon peel (Citrullus lanatus), and lime extract (Citrus aurantiifolia) as an environmentally friendly cleaning product based on organic waste. The research employed a laboratory experimental method with a quantitative approach through material preparation, extraction, saponification, soap sheet molding, and drying processes. The formulation consisted of a 50:50 combination of duku peel and watermelon peel extracts with the addition of lime extract. The evaluated parameters included pH, foam height and stability, grease-cleaning ability, and organoleptic testing by panelists. The results showed that the produced paper soap was thin, flexible, easily dissolved in water, and had a fresh lime aroma. The herbal paper soap exhibited a pH value of 7.9, foam height of 4.4 cm, foam stability of 88%, and grease-cleaning effectiveness of 90%. Organoleptic testing indicated that the product was well accepted because it was practical to use and comfortable on the hands. These findings demonstrate that fruit peel waste has the potential to be developed into a safe, practical household cleaning product that supports environmental sustainability. ABSTRAK Penggunaan deterjen sintetis secara berlebihan berpotensi meningkatkan pencemaran lingkungan karena kandungan surfaktan yang sulit terurai dapat menurunkan kualitas perairan dan mengganggu keseimbangan ekosistem akuatik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis formulasi dan karakteristik sabun kertas pencuci piring herbal berbahan kulit duku (Lansium domesticum), kulit semangka (Citrullus lanatus), dan ekstrak jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantiifolia) sebagai alternatif produk pembersih ramah lingkungan berbasis limbah organik. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen laboratorium dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui tahapan preparasi bahan, ekstraksi, saponifikasi, pencetakan sabun, dan pengeringan. Formulasi dibuat menggunakan kombinasi ekstrak kulit duku dan kulit semangka dengan rasio 50:50 serta penambahan ekstrak jeruk nipis. Parameter yang diuji meliputi pH, tinggi dan stabilitas busa, daya bersih terhadap lemak, serta uji organoleptik oleh panelis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dihasilkan berbentuk lembaran tipis, fleksibel, mudah larut dalam air, dan memiliki aroma segar khas jeruk nipis. Sabun kertas herbal memiliki nilai pH 7,9, tinggi busa 4,4 cm, stabilitas busa 88%, dan daya bersih terhadap lemak sebesar 90%. Uji organoleptik menunjukkan bahwa produk cukup disukai karena praktis digunakan dan nyaman di tangan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa limbah kulit buah berpotensi dikembangkan menjadi produk pembersih rumah tangga yang aman, praktis, dan mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of the principal's leadership role in increasing the work productivity of educators. Effective leadership, especially prophetic leadership, is believed to be able to create a conducive work environment and improve teacher performance. This study aims to determine the application of prophetic leadership by the principal, the level of work productivity of educators, and the relationship between prophetic leadership and work productivity of educators at SMAN 11 Bandung City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample in this study amounted to 68 educators. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, while data analysis used validity, reliability, normality, correlation, and regression tests with the help of the SPSS application. The results showed that the principal's prophetic leadership was in the high category with an average value of 3.99. The work productivity of educators was also in the high category with an average value of 4.05. In addition, there was a positive and significant relationship between prophetic leadership and work productivity of educators with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 and a correlation coefficient of 0.485 which was in the medium category. Thus, it can be concluded that the principal's prophetic leadership has a positive and significant relationship with the work productivity of teaching staff at SMAN 11 Bandung City. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan produktivitas kerja pendidik. Kepemimpinan yang efektif, khususnya kepemimpinan profetik, diyakini mampu menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif dan meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan kepemimpinan profetik oleh kepala sekolah, tingkat produktivitas kerja  pendidik, serta hubungan antara kepemimpinan profetik dengan produktivitas kerja pendidik di SMAN 11 Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 68 pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji normalitas, korelasi, dan regresi dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan profetik kepala sekolah berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,99. Produktivitas kerja pendidik juga berada pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,05. Selain itu, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan profetik dengan produktivitas kerja pendidik dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 dan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,485 yang berada pada kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan profetik kepala sekolah memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja pendidik di SMAN 11 Kota Bandung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Mathematical conceptual understanding is a fundamental competency in mathematics education; however, the effectiveness of various instructional models in fostering this ability continues to yield mixed findings. At the same time, studies specifically mapping the relationship between the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model and mathematical conceptual understanding remain limited. This situation prompted a systematic review to provide a more comprehensive picture of research trends, implementation characteristics, and the contribution of TGT to strengthening students’ conceptual understanding. The review employed a Systematic Literature Review approach by examining articles indexed in Google Scholar published between 2022 and 2025 using keywords related to TGT and mathematical conceptual understanding. The selection process followed the PRISMA framework and resulted in 24 articles that met the inclusion criteria, which were subsequently analyzed through content analysis and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that TGT is consistently associated with improved conceptual understanding through collaborative learning activities, academic games, tournaments, active student participation, and the use of supporting instructional media. Its effectiveness tends to be greater when conceptual indicators are clearly defined and learning activities are aligned with the characteristics of the subject matter. Research publications were most prevalent in 2023, predominantly conducted at the elementary school level and frequently focused on number-related topics. These findings suggest that TGT is a highly relevant instructional strategy for promoting interactive and collaborative mathematics learning while highlighting opportunities for further investigation in more abstract mathematical topics and higher educational levels. ABSTRAK Pemahaman konsep matematis merupakan salah satu kompetensi penting dalam pembelajaran matematika, namun efektivitas berbagai model pembelajaran dalam mendukung kemampuan tersebut masih menunjukkan temuan yang beragam. Di sisi lain, kajian yang secara khusus memetakan hubungan antara model Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dan pemahaman konsep matematis masih terbatas. Kondisi ini mendorong dilakukannya kajian sistematis untuk memperoleh gambaran yang lebih utuh mengenai kecenderungan penelitian, karakteristik penerapan, serta kontribusi TGT terhadap penguatan pemahaman konsep matematis. Kajian dilakukan melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review dengan menelusuri artikel yang terindeks Google Scholar pada periode 2022–2025 menggunakan kata kunci yang berkaitan dengan TGT dan pemahaman konsep matematis. Proses seleksi mengikuti alur PRISMA dan menghasilkan 24 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan content analysis dan sintesis tematik. Pola temuan menunjukkan bahwa TGT secara konsisten dikaitkan dengan peningkatan kualitas pemahaman konsep melalui aktivitas kolaboratif, permainan akademik, turnamen, partisipasi aktif siswa, serta pemanfaatan media pendukung pembelajaran. Efektivitas tersebut cenderung lebih optimal ketika indikator konsep dirancang secara jelas dan aktivitas belajar disesuaikan dengan karakteristik materi. Publikasi penelitian paling banyak ditemukan pada tahun 2023, didominasi oleh jenjang Sekolah Dasar, serta banyak diterapkan pada materi bilangan. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa TGT memiliki relevansi yang kuat sebagai strategi pembelajaran matematika yang interaktif dan kolaboratif, sekaligus membuka peluang pengembangan kajian pada materi yang lebih abstrak dan jenjang pendidikan yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology is driving the transformation of science laboratory management toward a more modern, effective, and adaptive system aligned with the demands of 21st-century learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of digital technology-based Smart Laboratory Management in supporting science learning oriented toward 21st-century skills. The novelty of this study lies in its integrated analysis of Smart Laboratory Management implementation as a unified system that simultaneously integrates digital laboratory governance and the development of students' 21st-century skills, particularly within the context of madrasas and secondary schools in Indonesia a perspective that has not been comprehensively examined in prior research. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. The research was conducted at science laboratories in madrasas and secondary schools. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of laboratory heads, science teachers, laboratory technicians, and students. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that Smart Laboratory Management was implemented through the digitalization of laboratory administration, the use of inventory barcodes, the utilization of equipment and materials management applications, and the integration of digital learning media into practicum activities. This system was capable of enhancing laboratory management effectiveness, accelerating access to inventory information, improving students' collaboration skills and digital literacy, and supporting 21st-century skills-based science learning. Implementation challenges included limitations in technological infrastructure, the digital competence of laboratory staff, and budget constraints for system development. This study implies that digital technology-based laboratory transformation is an essential requirement for improving the quality of modern science learning. ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong transformasi pengelolaan laboratorium IPA menuju sistem yang lebih modern, efektif, dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pembelajaran abad 21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi Smart Laboratory Management berbasis teknologi digital dalam mendukung pembelajaran IPA yang berorientasi pada keterampilan abad 21. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada kajian terpadu yang menganalisis implementasi Smart Laboratory Management sebagai sistem tunggal yang secara simultan mengintegrasikan tata kelola laboratorium digital dan pengembangan keterampilan abad 21 peserta didik, khususnya dalam konteks madrasah dan sekolah menengah di Indonesia suatu perspektif yang belum secara komprehensif dikaji dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan pada laboratorium IPA di tingkat madrasah/sekolah menengah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri atas kepala laboratorium, guru IPA, laboran, dan peserta didik. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Smart Laboratory Management dilakukan melalui digitalisasi administrasi laboratorium, penggunaan barcode inventaris, pemanfaatan aplikasi pengelolaan alat dan bahan, serta integrasi media pembelajaran digital dalam kegiatan praktikum. Sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan laboratorium, mempercepat akses informasi inventaris, meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan literasi digital peserta didik, serta mendukung pembelajaran IPA berbasis keterampilan abad 21. Kendala implementasi meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, kompetensi digital tenaga laboratorium, dan keterbatasan anggaran pengembangan sistem. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi bahwa transformasi laboratorium berbasis teknologi digital menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran IPA modern.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to improve the numeracy skills of third-grade students at SDN Karangtengah 01 through the implementation of the Team Games Tournament learning model assisted by Spintaz media. The study was motivated by students’ low numeracy skills in understanding mathematical concepts and solving contextual problems, indicating the need for a more interactive and enjoyable learning approach. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Kemmis and McTaggart model conducted in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were third-grade students of SDN Karangtengah 01. Data were collected through observation, numeracy tests, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Team Games Tournament model assisted by Spintaz media was able to improve students’ numeracy skills in each learning cycle. The improvement was indicated by the change in students’ learning outcomes from the poor category in the initial condition to the very good category after the actions were implemented. In addition, students became more active, enthusiastic, and engaged during the learning process, creating a more interactive and conducive classroom atmosphere. Therefore, the Team Games Tournament model assisted by Spintaz media is effective as an alternative learning approach to improve elementary school students’ numeracy skills. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas III SDN Karangtengah 01 melalui penerapan model Team Games Tournament berbantuan media Spintaz. Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan numerasi siswa dalam memahami konsep matematika dan menyelesaikan soal kontekstual sehingga diperlukan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa kelas III SDN Karangtengah 01. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, tes kemampuan numerasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Team Games Tournament berbantuan media Spintaz mampu meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa pada setiap siklus pembelajaran. Peningkatan tersebut terlihat dari hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami perubahan dari kategori kurang baik pada kondisi awal menjadi kategori sangat baik setelah tindakan diberikan. Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih aktif, antusias, dan terlibat selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung sehingga suasana belajar menjadi lebih interaktif dan kondusif. Dengan demikian, model Team Games Tournament berbantuan media Spintaz efektif digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi siswa sekolah dasar.
