Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the role of Qur’anic teachers in shaping the religious character of children at TPQ Massya Al Wathani. The study was motivated by the decline in character education among children due to the influence of technological developments, social media, and social environments, which have impacted discipline, politeness, and respect toward teachers and parents. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Qur’anic teachers play an important role in shaping children’s religious character through habituation of worship, role modeling, providing advice and Islamic stories, and implementing positive discipline. Teacher role modeling became the main factor in the internalization of religious values because children tend to imitate the behavior of educators in their daily lives. In addition, the formation of children’s religious character requires support from families and the community through a holistic approach. Therefore, TPQ Massya Al Wathani contributes significantly to developing children’s religious character as an effort to address moral degradation in the modern era. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru ngaji dalam membentuk karakter religius anak di TPQ Massya Al Wathani. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh menurunnya pendidikan karakter pada anak akibat pengaruh perkembangan teknologi, media sosial, dan lingkungan pergaulan yang berdampak pada rendahnya kedisiplinan, sopan santun, serta rasa hormat kepada guru dan orang tua. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru ngaji memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter religius anak melalui pembiasaan ibadah, keteladanan, pemberian nasihat dan kisah Islami, serta penerapan disiplin positif. Keteladanan guru menjadi faktor utama dalam internalisasi nilai religius karena anak cenderung meniru perilaku pendidik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, pembentukan karakter religius anak memerlukan dukungan keluarga dan lingkungan masyarakat melalui pendekatan yang holistik. Dengan demikian, TPQ Massya Al Wathani berkontribusi dalam membangun karakter religius anak sebagai upaya menghadapi dekadensi moral di era modern.

Abstract

Low labor productivity, weather dynamics, site changes, and material logistics constraints often trigger delays and cost overruns on PT SMJ's large-scale construction projects. This phenomenon underscores the importance of a comprehensive evaluation of operational control efficiency. This study focuses on analyzing project performance in terms of timeliness, budget availability, and resource procurement effectiveness. The methodology was systematically implemented through a questionnaire survey of 150 expert respondents, followed by statistical modeling using SmartPLS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Quantitative test results indicate that this model has a high fit, with an SRMR value of 0.045 and an NFI of 0.945. Path coefficient evaluation demonstrates that the budget has a very strong positive and significant influence on project performance, with an original sample value of 0.796 and a T-statistic of 6.368. Furthermore, resource procurement is listed as the most dominant determinant influencing budget stability, with a path coefficient of 0.834. The main conclusion of the study confirms that successful construction project performance relies heavily on the accuracy of operational budget management. Strict supply chain oversight and the use of the critical path method are recommended to mitigate the risk of delays and optimize financial efficiency in the field. ABSTRAK Rendahnya produktivitas tenaga kerja, dinamika cuaca, perubahan lapangan, serta hambatan logistik material sering memicu keterlambatan dan pembengkakan biaya pada proyek konstruksi skala besar PT SMJ. Fenomena ini melatarbelakangi pentingnya evaluasi komprehensif terhadap efisiensi kendali operasional. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kinerja proyek terhadap ketepatan waktu, ketersediaan anggaran, dan efektivitas pengadaan sumber daya. Metodologi dijalankan secara sistematis melalui survei kuesioner kepada 150 responden ahli, yang dilanjutkan dengan pemodelan statistik Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) berbasis SmartPLS. Data kuantitatif hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model ini memiliki kesesuaian tinggi dengan nilai SRMR sebesar 0,045 dan NFI mencapai 0,945. Evaluasi koefisien jalur membuktikan bahwa anggaran memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan yang sangat kuat terhadap kinerja proyek dengan nilai original sampel sebesar 0,796 serta T-Statistik mencapai 6,368. Selain itu, pengadaan sumber daya tercatat sebagai faktor penentu paling dominan yang memengaruhi stabilitas anggaran dengan koefisien jalur sebesar 0,834. Simpulan utama penelitian menegaskan bahwa kesuksesan performa proyek konstruksi sangat bertumpu pada akurasi pengelolaan anggaran operasional. Pengawasan ketat pada rantai pasok dan pemanfaatan metode jalur kritis disarankan secara konkret untuk memitigasi risiko keterlambatan serta mengoptimalkan efisiensi pembiayaan di lapangan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The development of globalization and the rapid flow of digital information have given rise to various schools of Islamic thought that influence how Muslims understand religious teachings. This condition has led to the emergence of extreme tendencies, both textual and liberal, making balanced thinking essential in strengthening critical and moderate Islamic literacy. This study aims to analyze the concept of balanced thinking in various Islamic perspectives and its impact on strengthening Muslim literacy in the modern era. This research employed a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data were obtained from Qur’anic verses, books, scientific journals, and relevant research articles, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The findings show that balanced thinking in Islam is reflected through the integration of reason and revelation, text and context, as well as rational and spiritual aspects. This concept is represented in various Islamic thoughts, including traditional, rational, moderate, sufistic, and tajdid perspectives. In addition, the values of justice (al-‘adl) and balance (al-mīzān) in the Qur’an serve as the foundation for developing objective, proportional, and moderate ways of thinking. Balanced thinking also contributes to strengthening Muslim literacy through critical, reflective, and wise thinking skills in responding to the flow of information in the modern era. ABSTRAK Perkembangan globalisasi dan arus informasi digital telah memunculkan beragam corak pemikiran Islam yang memengaruhi cara umat memahami ajaran agama. Kondisi ini menyebabkan munculnya kecenderungan pemikiran yang ekstrem, baik bersifat tekstual maupun liberal, sehingga keseimbangan berpikir menjadi penting dalam membangun literasi umat Islam yang kritis dan moderat. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis konsep keseimbangan berpikir dalam berbagai corak pemikiran Islam serta dampaknya terhadap penguatan literasi umat di era modern. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research). Data diperoleh dari ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan artikel penelitian yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan berpikir dalam Islam tercermin melalui integrasi antara akal dan wahyu, teks dan konteks, serta aspek rasional dan spiritual. Konsep tersebut tampak dalam berbagai corak pemikiran Islam, seperti tradisional, rasional, moderat, sufistik, dan tajdid. Selain itu, nilai keadilan (al-‘adl) dan keseimbangan (al-mīzān) dalam Al-Qur’an menjadi landasan dalam membangun pola pikir objektif, proporsional, dan moderat. Keseimbangan berpikir juga berkontribusi terhadap penguatan literasi umat melalui kemampuan berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan bijak dalam menghadapi arus informasi di era modern.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The post-digital era is characterized by the rapid flow of information, the spread of hoaxes, polarization of thought, and post-truth phenomena that affect people’s balance of thinking. These conditions indicate the importance of a critical, moderate, and verification-based model of thinking. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal’s thought and its impact on shaping balanced thinking in post-digital society. The research employed a qualitative method using a library research approach. Data were collected from primary and secondary sources related to Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal’s thought and analyzed using descriptive-analytical methods through historical, philosophical, and comparative-contextual approaches. The findings reveal that Imam Ahmad’s thought emphasizes the authority of revelation, prudence in legal reasoning, information verification, and intellectual integrity. These principles are relevant to the needs of modern digital literacy in addressing hoaxes, disinformation, and social media polarization. Furthermore, balanced thinking in Imam Ahmad’s perspective is constructed through the proportional integration of revelation, reason, and ethics, thereby forming a critical, objective, and responsible mindset in the post-digital era. ABSTRAK Era pasca-digital ditandai oleh melimpahnya arus informasi, penyebaran hoaks, polarisasi pemikiran, dan fenomena post-truth yang memengaruhi keseimbangan berpikir masyarakat. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya model berpikir yang kritis, moderat, dan berbasis verifikasi informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relevansi pemikiran Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal serta dampaknya terhadap pembentukan keseimbangan berpikir masyarakat di era pasca-digital. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research). Data diperoleh dari literatur primer dan sekunder yang berkaitan dengan pemikiran Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitis melalui pendekatan historis, filosofis, dan komparatif-kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Imam Ahmad menekankan otoritas wahyu, kehati-hatian dalam berijtihad, verifikasi informasi, serta integritas intelektual. Prinsip-prinsip tersebut relevan dengan kebutuhan literasi digital modern dalam menghadapi hoaks, disinformasi, dan polarisasi media sosial. Selain itu, keseimbangan berpikir dalam perspektif Imam Ahmad dibangun melalui integrasi wahyu, akal, dan etika secara proporsional sehingga membentuk pola pikir kritis, objektif, dan bertanggung jawab di era pasca-digital.

Abstract

This research aims to improve teacher activities, critical thinking skills, character of responsibility, and student learning outcomes through the application of the Discovery Learning model in the learning of science in grade IV of SD Negeri 165/IV Jambi City. The research using the Kemmis and McTaggart model methods (PTK) includes the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The subjects consisted of 18 students in grade IV. Data collection techniques use observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments include teacher activity observation sheets, critical thinking ability observation sheets, responsibility character observation sheets, interview guidelines, and learning outcome tests that have been validated by experts. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of his research are that the Discovery Learning model is able to improve teacher activities, critical thinking skills, responsible character, and student learning outcomes. The increase in teacher activity can be seen in the percentage, which was originally 56% in the pre-cycle, increased by 74% in the first cycle, 88% in the second cycle, and 95% in the third cycle in the very high category. The improvement describes if the teacher gets better when carrying out the stages and managing the student-centered process. The students' critical thinking skills increased by 34% in the pre-cycle, 68% in the first cycle, 86% in the second cycle, and 94% in the third cycle. In addition, the character of student responsibility experienced a significant increase, namely 47% in the pre-cycle stage, 72% in cycle I, increased again 89% in cycle II, and reached 96% in cycle III. Not only that, the acquisition of student learning outcomes continues to increase, as reflected in the increase in the number of students who achieve learning completeness in each cycle to meet the indicators of research success. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas guru, kemampuan critical thinking, karakter tanggung jawab, dan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning pada pembelajaran IPAS kelas IV SD Negeri 165/IV Kota Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan metode (PTK) model Kemmis dan McTaggart meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjeknya terdiri atas 18 peserta didik kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi aktivitas guru, lembar observasi kemampuan critical thinking, lembar observasi karakter tanggung jawab, pedoman wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitiannya model Discovery Learning mampu meningkatkan aktivitas guru, kemampuan critical thinking, karakter tanggung jawab, serta hasil belajar siswanya. Peningkatan aktivitas guru terlihat persentasenya yang semula 56% di pra siklus meningkat 74% di siklus I, 88% di siklus II, 95% di siklus III berkategori sangat tinggi. Peningkatan tersebut mendeskripsikan jika pengajar semakin baik ketika melaksanakan tahapannya dan mengelola prosesnya yang berpusat pada siswanya. Kemampuan critical thinking siswanya terjadi kenaikan 34% di pra siklus 68% di siklus I, 86% di siklus II, dan 94% di siklus III. Selain itu, karakter tanggung jawab siswanya alami kenaikan yang signifikan, yakni 47% ditahap prasiklus 72% di siklus I, meningkat lagi 89% di siklus II, dan mencapai 96% di siklus III. Tidak hanya itu, perolehan hasil belajar siswanya terus mengalami kenaikan, sebagaimana tercermin dari kenaikan jumlah siswanya yang mencapai ketuntasan belajar pada setiap siklus hingga memenuhi indikator keberhasilan penelitian.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the implementation of an inclusive curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an effort to strengthen students’ character and spirituality in the era of digital disruption from the perspective of educational psychology. The era of digital disruption presents various challenges to students’ moral and spiritual development, such as reduced social interaction, weakened empathy, and the negative influence of digital media. This study employed a qualitative method using a library research approach. Data were collected from scientific sources including journals, books, academic articles, and relevant documents, which were then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and descriptive-analytical conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that an inclusive curriculum in PAI plays an important role in shaping students’ religious character and spirituality through the cultivation of tolerance, empathy, justice, and respect for diversity. The perspective of educational psychology emphasizes that learning processes which consider emotional, social, and spiritual aspects can enhance students’ religious awareness and positive behavior. In addition, the educational use of digital technology can support the internalization of character and spiritual values more effectively. Era disrupsi digital menghadirkan berbagai tantangan terhadap perkembangan moral dan spiritual peserta didik, seperti menurunnya interaksi sosial, lemahnya empati, serta pengaruh negatif media digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research). Data diperoleh dari berbagai sumber ilmiah berupa jurnal, buku, artikel akademik, dan dokumen relevan, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara deskriptif-analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum inklusi dalam PAI berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter religius dan spiritualitas peserta didik melalui penanaman nilai toleransi, empati, keadilan, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman. Perspektif psikologi pendidikan menegaskan bahwa pembelajaran yang memperhatikan aspek emosional, sosial, dan spiritual mampu meningkatkan kesadaran religius serta perilaku positif peserta didik. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi digital secara edukatif dapat mendukung internalisasi nilai karakter dan spiritualitas secara lebih efektif. Abstract

ABSTRACT The quality management of Islamic boarding school education has become an important issue in responding to the demands for improving the quality of Islamic educational institutions that are excellent, adaptive, and competitive in the midst of contemporary developments. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in educational quality management at Daarul Muttaqiin Islamic Boarding School, Empang, Sumbawa, and to identify various managerial problems that hinder the optimization of institutional quality. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a single case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 18 key informants, participant observation, and documentation studies conducted over four months. Data analysis was carried out systematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Daarul Muttaqiin Islamic Boarding School faces several managerial problems, including weak documentation and administrative systems, limited managerial competence of human resources, suboptimal internal supervision and quality assurance mechanisms, the emergence of disciplinary cases among students, and increasing competitive pressure from other formal educational institutions. The study found that the implementation of TQM integrated with the values of Panca Jiwa Pesantren serves as a contextual and sustainable strategy for strengthening educational quality. Furthermore, this research produced the TQM-Daarul Muttaqiin Model as a quality management framework that is relevant for implementation in Islamic educational institutions located in 3T areas (Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged Regions) ABSTRAK Manajemen mutu pendidikan pesantren menjadi isu penting dalam menghadapi tuntutan peningkatan kualitas lembaga pendidikan Islam yang unggul, adaptif, dan kompetitif di tengah perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam manajemen mutu pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Daarul Muttaqiin Empang, Sumbawa, serta mengidentifikasi berbagai problem manajerial yang menghambat optimalisasi mutu lembaga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus tunggal. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap 18 informan kunci, observasi partisipan, dan studi dokumentasi selama empat bulan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan secara sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren Daarul Muttaqiin menghadapi sejumlah persoalan manajerial, meliputi lemahnya sistem dokumentasi dan administrasi, keterbatasan kompetensi manajerial sumber daya manusia, belum optimalnya sistem pengawasan dan penjaminan mutu internal, munculnya kasus indisipliner santri, serta meningkatnya tekanan kompetitif dari lembaga pendidikan formal lainnya. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa implementasi TQM yang diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai Panca Jiwa Pesantren mampu menjadi strategi penguatan mutu pendidikan secara kontekstual dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini juga menghasilkan Model TQM-Daarul Muttaqiin sebagai kerangka manajemen mutu pesantren yang relevan untuk diterapkan pada lembaga pendidikan Islam di kawasan 3T (Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal).

Abstract

This research to develop a manipulative media based on toothpicks and plasticine in the material, compare the characteristics of flat buildings in class V inclusive, and determine the level of feasibility of the developed media. This research uses the method (R&D) with the ADDIE development model which includes the analysis, design, development, and implementation stages. The subject is inclusive class V students at Jogja Green School. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The research instruments were questionnaires for validation of material experts, media experts, teacher responses, and student responses. The results of the research on manipulative media based on toothpicks and plasticine were successfully developed for learning the material comparing the characteristics of flat buildings in inclusive class V. The media is designed using toothpicks as a representation of the sides of a flat building and plasticine as a connecting point of the corner so that students can arrange various forms of flat buildings directly and concretely. The results of the validation describe the development of the media as very feasible. The validation of the material experts obtained a percentage of 92%, while the media experts obtained a percentage of 94%. Then, the results of the educator's response were 95% and the student's response was 96% categorized as very good. So the results prove that toothpick and plasticine media are suitable for use in elementary school mathematics teaching, especially inclusive classes. The use of manipulative media is able to make it easier to conceptualize real flat buildings from exploratory activities and learning experiences. The media also increases the active involvement, enthusiasm, and enthusiasm of its students to learn. Thus, manipulative media based on toothpicks and plasticine has the potential to support more adaptive, meaningful, and fun mathematics learning in inclusive classes in elementary schools. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media manipulatif berbasis tusuk gigi dan plastisin pada materi membandingkan ciri-ciri bangun datar di kelas V inklusif serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analysis, design, development, dan implementation. Subjeknya peserta didik kelas V inklusif di Jogja Green School. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket. Instrumen penelitian yaitu angket validasi ahli materi, ahli media, respons guru, dan respons peserta didik. Hasil penelitian media manipulatif berbasis tusuk gigi dan plastisin berhasil dikembangkan untuk pembelajaran materi membandingkan ciri-ciri bangun datar di kelas V inklusif. Medianya dirancang menggunakan tusuk gigi sebagai representasi sisi bangun datar dan plastisin sebagai penghubung titik sudut sehingga peserta didik dapat menyusun berbagai bentuk bangun datar secara langsung dan konkret. Hasil validasinya mendeskripsikan pengembangan medianya berkategori sangat layak. Validasi ahli materinya memperoleh persentase 92%, sedangkan ahli medianya memperoleh persentase 94%. Kemudian, hasil respons pendidiknya 95% dan respons siswanya 96% berkategori sangat baik. Maka hasilnya tersebut membuktikan media tusuk gigi dan plastisin layak dipakai pada pengajaran matematika sekolah dasar, terkhusus kelas inklusif. Penggunaan media manipulatif mampu memudahkan mengkonsepkan secara nyata bangun datar dari aktivitas eksploratif serta pengalamannya belajar. Media juga meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif, antusiasme, serta semangat siswanya belajar. Dengan demikian, media manipulatif berbasis tusuk gigi dan plastisin berpotensi menunjang pembelajaran matematika yang lebih adaptif, bermakna, dan menyenangkan pada kelas inklusif di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Orphans residing in orphanage institutions frequently encounter multifaceted psychological challenges, including diminished self-concept, limited social support networks, and reduced academic motivation stemming from parental loss. This study was designed to examine the role of guidance and counseling services in fostering learning intelligence among orphans at the Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Orphanage in Medan. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving three orphanage residents and two counselors or institutional caregivers. The findings reveal three synergistically implemented intervention strategies: (1) individual counseling grounded in a client-centered approach, aimed at strengthening personal resilience and cultivating a positive self-concept; (2) group guidance through peer group counseling and peer tutoring, which fosters a cooperative learning environment among participants; and (3) internalization of Al-Washliyah's spiritual values, which nurtures intrinsic motivation rooted in a sense of religious devotion. All three strategies consistently demonstrated effectiveness in reinforcing key indicators of learning intelligence, encompassing time discipline, metacognitive skills, and achievement orientation. The study concludes that the integrated implementation of guidance and counseling services holds considerable potential to transform orphanages into holistic educational ecosystems that support the development of learning intelligence among orphaned children. ABSTRAK Anak yatim yang tinggal di panti asuhan kerap menghadapi berbagai persoalan psikologis, di antaranya rendahnya kepercayaan diri, minimnya dukungan sosial, serta melemahnya semangat belajar sebagai dampak dari kehilangan orang tua. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengkaji bagaimana layanan bimbingan dan konseling berperan dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan belajar anak yatim di Panti Asuhan Al-Jam'iyatul Washliyah Medan. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dihimpun melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap tiga anak panti asuhan dan dua konselor atau pengurus panti. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan tiga strategi intervensi yang diterapkan secara sinergis, yakni: (1) konseling individual berbasis pendekatan client-centered yang bertujuan membangun ketangguhan diri dan citra diri yang positif; (2) bimbingan kelompok melalui peer group counseling dan peer tutoring yang mendorong terbentuknya iklim belajar kooperatif; serta (3) internalisasi nilai-nilai spiritual Al-Washliyah yang menumbuhkan motivasi intrinsik berlandaskan semangat ibadah. Ketiga strategi tersebut secara konsisten terbukti memperkuat indikator kecerdasan belajar, meliputi kedisiplinan waktu, kemampuan metakognitif, dan orientasi terhadap prestasi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan layanan bimbingan dan konseling secara terpadu mampu mentransformasi panti asuhan menjadi ekosistem pendidikan yang holistik bagi perkembangan kecerdasan belajar anak yatim.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was motivated by the low levels of numeracy skills and self-efficacy among elementary school students, which may hinder success in mathematics learning, particularly in the topic of angle measurement. Numeracy skills and self-efficacy are important aspects that support students’ ability to understand mathematical concepts, solve problems, and develop confidence in learning. This study aimed to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on the numeracy skills and self-efficacy of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 14 Tibawa. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design involving an experimental class and a control class. The research sample consisted of 36 students, with 18 students in the experimental class and 18 students in the control class. Data were collected through a numeracy skills test and a self-efficacy questionnaire and were analyzed using inferential statistics. The results showed that students who participated in learning through the Problem-Based Learning model achieved higher numeracy skills and self-efficacy than those who received conventional instruction. Statistical testing indicated a significant effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on both numeracy skills and self-efficacy, both partially and simultaneously. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model is effective in improving the numeracy skills and self-efficacy of fifth-grade students in mathematics learning at SD Negeri 14 Tibawa. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy murid sekolah dasar yang berpotensi menghambat keberhasilan pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi pengukuran sudut. Kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy merupakan aspek penting yang mendukung kemampuan murid dalam memahami konsep matematika, menyelesaikan masalah, serta membangun kepercayaan diri dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy murid kelas V di SD Negeri 14 Tibawa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design yang melibatkan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 36 murid yang terdiri atas 18 murid pada kelas eksperimen dan 18 murid pada kelas kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan numerasi dan angket self-efficacy, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa murid yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model Problem-Based Learning memperoleh kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan murid yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan model Problem-Based Learning terhadap kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem-Based Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi dan self-efficacy murid kelas V pada pembelajaran matematika di SD Negeri 14 Tibawa.
