Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Procalysis Mobile to improve the patient safety culture of hospital nurses in Samarinda City. This quasi-experimental research used a pretest-posttest control group design. The samples were 34 nurses that were divided into two groups. Group A received a Procalysis Mobile intervention, and group B received an intervention with a book of root cause analysis. The data were analyzed with an independent t-test. This study found that the p-value was 0.000 which means a significant difference between before and after the Procalysis Mobile intervention and the root cause analysis book intervention. Another result study was the mean value of the Procalysis Mobile intervention was higher (74.0) than the book intervention (38.0). The conclusion of this study was Procalysis Mobile has significantly different than a book intervention to patient safety culture improvement for nurses in hospitals.

Abstract

The condition when toddlers lose fluids and become dehydrated happens when they experience diarrhea. It is one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality in toddlers, globally Poor hygiene makes diarrheal illnesses spread from person to person or through contaminated food or water. Diarrhea is responsible for 9% of toddler morbidity worldwide, and its prevalence is still high. This study is aiming to identify the risk factors that affect the case of diarrhea in toddlers. In the Na IX X subdistrict of the Labuhan Batu Utara regency. This analytical cross-sectional study employs 517 mothers with toddlers in NA IX- X, North Labuhan Batu Regency, who serves the study's population. In the end, 59 participants make up the sample of the study determined by using simple random sampling. Questionnaires are given to mothers of toddlers to gather the data. Univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test, and multivariate analysis with the logistic regression test are carried out to analyze the data. The findings indicate the correlation between diarrhea cases in children, knowledge, attitude, food hygiene, and accessibility to waste disposal facilities. It is discovered that knowledge (p=0.001; PR= 6.4; 95% CI 2.859- 82.466) is the dominant variable. This indicates that the case of diarrhea in toddlers is significantly influenced by the variable of knowledge. Additionally, it is found that toddlers of mothers with inadequate information are 6.4 times more likely to experience diarrhea, compared to mothers with better knowledge about this issue. It is advised that all parties, notably the community health center

Abstract

Decreased efficiency, quality of work, and decreased endurance in completing work. This is a sign of fatigue at work. This is caused by the workload being too high. Online lectures are a learning system through electronic media that is connected to the internet network. Online lectures are currently being implemented due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The problem that occurs with online lectures is that several universities in Indonesia are not ready to do online learning. Likewise, the problem of students who are not accustomed to the demands of independent study due to limited time, facilities, materials and abilities, causes excessive anxiety and panic. This will cause a mental burden that it has an impact on student fatigue which causes a decrease in efficiency, resilience and work capacity. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the mental workload and fatigue of students during online lectures. Measurement of mental workload using the NASA-TLX method and fatigue measurement using SOFI. The results of this study indicate that the mental workload received by students is in the high category while fatigue is in the medium category. Significant differences in average mental load can be seen based on gender, scientific field, study program accreditation, education level, GPA during online lectures, involvement of student activities, online lecture aids, online lecture venues, how to connect to the network, online tuition fees, and the number of hours of online study. Significant differences in average fatigue can be seen based on gender, study program accreditation, education level, online lecture aids, and the number of hours of online study.

Abstract

The skin of the fruit that has not been used by humans and other living things so far, has a fairly good nutritional value for the skin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and stability of the moisturizing cream. Fruit peel papaya and fruit peel rambutan were extracted respectively using ethanol 70% by maceration method, produced maserate, concentrated using a rotary evaporator. The combination of extracts was made into a cream preparation using the emulsification method. The resulting cream was evaluated for stability and effectiveness in humans. Skin moisture test showed that the increase in skin moisture value occurred in all formulas, where the highest percentage value was seen in F4, namely the initial moisture value of 46.99±3.908 and after 28 days of use it became 58.95±3.792 there was an increase in skin moisture value of 11 ,96, while in F1 as a positive control the results of the skin moisture value before use of 46.98 ± 4.634 and after using for 29 days it became 53.61 ± 4,888 there was an increase in skin moisture value of 6.63. The resulting cream is stable on storage for 3 months at temperatures of 250 and 400

Abstract

Hemoglobin Levels and erythrocyte sedimentation rate in people with diabetes mellitus often experience a decrease and increase due to uncontrolled eating patterns, drinking medicine is not routine, exercise is not regular. This can cause the patient to experience anemia due to decreased hemoglobin and inflammation due to increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Santa Elisabeth Hospital Medan in 2022 This study used a descriptive analytic design. The population in this study 46 people sample 31 with the technique of purposive sampling. Data collection is done using a check tool hemoglobin levels, namely hematology analyzer pentra ABX 60 and for erythrocyte sedimentation rate using the Westergreen method. The results showed that the minimum value of hemoglobin level was 1 and the maximum value of hemoglobin was 4, the average value of hemoglobin was 2.58 with a standard deviation of 0.848. Results The minimum value for the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is 2 and the maximum value of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is 4, the average value of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate is 2.74 with a standard deviation of 0.930. So, the results of the study there was a decrease in hemoglobin levels and an increase in the level of erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Suggestions in conducting research on hemoglobin examination and erythrocyte sedimentation rate follow the procedure according to the SOP and use complete personal protective equipment.

Abstract

According to Banjarmasin City Health Office data, hypertension is still ranked among the top 10 non-communicable diseases. The increase in hypertension can be associated with unhealthy lifestyle changes. One way to make it easier for patients to control themselves, especially blood pressure control and adherence to self-management, is through health promotion programs. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting heat promotion efforts with the "DIARII" program for the prevention and control of hypertension patients in Banjarmasin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the "DIARII" program in increasing the ability of patients and families to control hypertension independently. The research design used in this study was Quasi-Experimental Design with a Control Group Pre-Post Test Design. The population and samples used were 60 people with hypertension aged 26-65 in Banjarmasin. The research was conducted in several places in the city of Banjarmasin. This research has been deemed ethical by the Research Ethics Commission of the University of Muhammadiyah Banjarmasin, with the number 283/UMB/KE/IX/2022. The results showed that the value of the Wilcoxon test for family independence in the intervention group showed the importance of Sig. p Value 0.317 > 0.05 means no significant difference after the intervention. So it can be concluded that implementing the DIARII program affects the patient's ability to manage hypertension. Health promotion education interventions were found to improve the quality of life and the ability of sufferers to understand any health information they received.

The results showed an increase in pre-hemodialysis creatinine levels as many as 33 samples (51.6%). and results of post hemodialysis decreased by 29 samples (45.3%). The results of the average pre and post hemodialysis blood creatinine levels show that the pre hemodialysis blood creatinine average level was 8.5398 mg/dl. The post hemodialysis average blood creatinine level is 5.4333 mg/dl. It can be concluded that there is a change in the pre-hemodialysis average blood creatinine level. and post hemodialysis is 4 mg/dl. From the results of measurements of blood creatinine levels of the study sample, it was found that most of the patients undergoing hemodialysis were abnormal
