The prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Indonesia from 2013 was 37.1%, increasing to 48.9% in 2018. One of the causes of anemia is non-adherence in taking Fe tablets. The sample size is 53 people taken using simple random sampling. The statistical test used is the Chi-square test. There is a significant relationship between knowledge (0.001) and behavior of health workers (0.025) with the adherence of pregnant women in consuming Fe Tablets. There is no significant relationship between the role of the family (0.655) and the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets. Abstract

Giving complementary breastfeeding too early is one of the inhibiting factors for exclusive breastfeeding. The results of a preliminary survey conducted at the UPTD Health center Boronadu South Nias Regency where interviews were conducted with mothers and it was found that 8 mothers did not know that babies should only be given breast milk until they were 6 months old and they agreed that babies less than 6 months old were given additional food other than breast milk such as bananas, tea, formula milk and other foods. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of mothers regarding early complementary breastfeeding at the UPTD Health center Boronadu South Nias Regency in 2022. This study was an analytic observational study with a cross sectional design. The population is all mothers having babies more than 6 months at the UPTD Health center Boronadu South Nias Regency, namely 118. The number of samples based on the sample formula is 48 people. There is a significant relationship between the knowledge (p=0.022) and attitudes (p=0.006) of postpartum mothers and the provision of early complementary breastfeeding in the UPTD Work Area of the Boronadu Health Center in 2022. It is also hoped that health workers at the UPTD Boronadu Health Center will be able to further increase public knowledge regarding complementary breastfeeding and increasing its role in efforts to achieve exclusive breastfeeding through counseling, which can be carried out at village meetings, posyandu and counseling during pregnancy checks.

Abstract

Background Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a contagious infectious disease which is grouped as a factor that can affect maternal and child mortality (Ministry of Health, 2014). In 2015-2017 several cases of HIV were found in pregnant women and were transmitted to infants which resulted in infant death due to HIV infection in the working area of the Rukun Lima Health Center. The VCT program has been implemented since 2017 but of the total pregnant women who perform ANC only 50% accept to carry out examinations through VCT services. The aim of the study was to analyze the factors that influence the use of Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) in pregnant women at the Rukun Health Center Five. Observational Analytical Design Method. The approach is carried out by cross sectional. Research data was collected from June to August 2020 using a questionnaire. There are 2 data analyzes carried out in this study, namely descriptive analysis used to determine the frequency distribution of each respondent. Meanwhile, to find out the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, bivariate and multivariate analysis is used. The results of the univariate analysis revealed that pregnant women with less knowledge of HIV were 53.48%, supported by facilities, 58.14%, supported by service providers 65.12% and pregnant women who did not have VCT examinations were 62.79%. The results of the bivariate analysis found that there was a relationship between the knowledge and support of service providers and the participation of pregnant women in VCT examinations. Knowledge (Asymp.sig.(2-sided)= 0.000) and OR= 4.2), support for health service providers (Asymp.sig.(2-sided)= 0.000) and OR= 5.2) while facility support VCT services have a relationship with the use of VCT services in pregnant women with (Asymp.sig.(2-sided) = 0.000) and OR = 0.2), The conclusion is that the factors of mother's knowledge about HIV, staff support and support for service facilities influence the use of VCT services in pregnant women at the Rukun Lima Health Center.

Abstract

Midwives as providers of professional midwifery services to women throughout their life cycle independently, collaboratively and/or referrals are one of the front lines in handling Covid 19, (IBI 2020). Maternal and neonatal mortality rates in Indonesia were still a big challenge in the pre-covid era, with the non-natural disasters spreading the 2019 Disease virus, it was feared that it would further increase the morbidity and mortality of mothers and newborns due to the reluctance of pregnant women to go to the puskesmas, (Directorate of Family Health 2020). The purpose of this study was to identify factors related to the implementation of normal delivery care (APN) in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used a questionnaire for midwives throughout the city of Manado which would be processed using the Chi-square statistical test on 121 respondents as a population. The targeted output is in the form of publications in national journals accredited grades 1-6 and additional outputs in the form of copyrights (HAKI). TKT level in this study is 3.

Abstract

Dealing with the problem of sleep disturbances in pregnant women, we can provide several methods to stabilize the quality of good sleep, such as determining a good and comfortable position during sleep, basic relaxation exercises, one of which is pregnancy exercise. This study aims to determine the relationship between Pregnancy Exercise and Sleep Quality for Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester. This type of research is a descriptive correlation research that aims to reveal the correlative relationship between variables using a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were all third trimester pregnant women totaling 25 respondents. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The results of the research on pregnancy gymnastics conducted by third trimester pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic were mostly performed poorly by 14 respondents (56.0%). The majority of sleep quality in third trimester pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic is still poor as many as 15 respondents (60.0%). There is a significant relationship between pregnancy exercise and the sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women at the Juliana Dalimunthe Clinic, with a p value = 0.000 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the better the exercise during pregnancy, the better the sleep quality of third trimester pregnant women.

Abstract

This pandemic has resulted in many changes, one of which is online learning. This change causes increased stress on students. In women, stress is one of the factors causing the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). Women who experience PMS and PMDD will interfere with daily activities and interfere with social relationships. The occurrence of PMS and PMDD will reduce the quality of life of adolescents and will result in disrupted learning processes, so we need to know whether the pandemic affects the increase in PMS and PMDD so that we can determine preventive measures. This needs to be done considering that this pandemic will continue and we need to adapt to these changes. This study aims to see if there is a difference in the prevalence of premenstrual syndrome and premenstrual dysphoric disorder before and after the pandemic occurs and to find out what factors can influence it.This study will use quantitative research methods with a cross sectional approach. Data collection will be carried out at three high schools, namely public, private and high schools with dormitories. Determination of schools using simple random sampling technique and for respondents using total sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 252 students in grade 3 SMA. This data collection is done by filling out a questionnaire. Data collection was carried out after the researchers determined the school as the research location and permission was obtained. The data that has been collected will be processed using SPSS 21. Data analysis will use univariate, bivariate and multivariate data analysis. In this study, the factors that did not affect the occurrence of PMS/PMDD in adolescents were coffee consumption, calcium, body weight and heredity. The factor that influences the occurrence of PMS and PMDD is stress with a P-value of 0.000. Stress is a determining factor in the occurrence of PMS or PMDD in adolescents, students, teachers and health workers should collaborate in dealing with stress in adolescents, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
