Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the occurrence of stunting Stunting is a problem in child development. Factors causing stunting were based on the most influencing factors, namely: family income, exclusive breastfeeding, the work of the toddler's father, the nutritional knowledge of the toddler's mother, and the baby's birth weight. This research method is a kind of literature survey study from various international and national journals, which tries to summarize the current understanding of the topic. Stunting inhibits children's optimal growth and development and can make them more susceptible to infection. Many factors can influence the occurrence of stunting in early childhood, including maternal factors, small child factors, and environmental factors. Based on the results of the analysis, the prevalence of stunting in children under 5 years (toddlers) in Indonesia in 2015 was 36.4%. This means that more than a third of children under the age of five or about 8.8 million experience nutritional problems if their height is below normal.

Abstract

The main problem in controlling hypertension in Indonesia is low adherence to treatment hypertension patient. An important effort that is currently being done is to change patient behavior to be more compliant with treatment. Factors that influence medication adherence. It is important that it is studied in full, compiled on a strong theoretical basis and proven scientifically empirical. One of the factors that play an important role in increasing success. Treatment is therapeutic communication between health workers and patients. However, during the syndemy (synergy and pandemic) period of covid-19 with restrictions on interaction hinder the process of therapeutic communication so that there is a need for digital transformation. For Therefore, this study aims to assess the factors of medication adherence, compile and prove digital therapeutic communication models can improve adherence to treatment of hypertensive patients at Ubud Health Center 1, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. Research implementation consists of 3 stages, namely: 1) Research cross-sectional study with a sample size of 390 hypertensive patients selected by simple random sampling. Data collected by interview using structured questionnaires in selected patient homes; 2) Modeling digital therapeutic communication and 3) Proof of models with quasi-experimental designs using a cluster randomized controlled trial design. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used for factor analysis of medication adherence and the Poisson regression test was used to test and assess the capabilities of digital therapeutic communication models for improve adherence to treatment of hypertensive patients. Factors that are proven to improve adherence to treatment is a type of communicator (β=0.297), content of the message conveyed (β=0.237) and the type of digital media (whatsapp) used (β=0.443). Therapeutic communication model. Digital is proven to increase medication adherence by 4.1 times (95% CI: 0.845-11.557). It can be concluded that therapeutic communication with WhatsApp media is very effective carried out supported by the ability of the communicator and the content of the message conveyed.

Abstract

Gastritis is inflammation or bleeding of the gastric mucosa that is acute, chronic, diffuse or local. Gastritis is commonly known as "heartburn" or heartburn due to inflammation in the gastric mucosa which can cause swelling of the gastric mucosa to the detachment of the superficial mucosal epithelium which can become main cause of gastrointestinal disorders. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the diet presented and the high rate of gastritis in Samarinda Police detainees in East Kalimantan. This type of quantitative analytic research with a retrospective study design, namely data collection starting from the effect or effect that has occurred, then from that effect is traced backwards about the cause or variables that influence the effect. The number of samples in this study were 97 male prisoners suffering from gastritis indications. The researcher draws the conclusion that most of the respondents' diets are in the bad category as many as 56 respondents (57.7%), Gastritis disease most of the respondents experience chronic gastritis as many as 52 respondents (53.6%), There is a relationship between diet and high rates of gastritis in Samarinda Polresta prison, East Kalimantan with a p value of 0.000 <0.05. From the results of this study, it is suggested that gastritis sufferers can carry out a good lifestyle and regular eating patterns according to the 3J guidelines, namely types of food, number of meals and hours of eating.

Abstract

Inflammation is a protective response caused by damage to certain tissues. Anti-inflammatory is a substance or drug used to treat redness, increased body temperature, swelling, pain and loss of function of an organ. Steroid and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have many side effects, so studies are needed to develop new drugs to minimize side effects and improve therapeutic effects. The method used is literature review from journals and articles obtained from Google Scholar in 15 journals. The purpose of the literature review is to find out the study of the development of new drugs from several compounds that have potential as anti-inflammatories. Secondary metabolites that have potential as anti-inflammatory include essential oils, flavonoids, alkaloids, terpenoids, and anthocyanins. Secondary metabolites will interact with the cyclooxygenase (COX) enzyme which is the main mediator of inflammation. The results obtained from the 15 compounds contain these secondary metabolites so they have the potential as anti-inflammatory.

Abstract

Menstruation is periodic vaginal bleeding due to the detachment of the endometrial lining of the uterus. The normal age for a woman to menstruate for the first time is at the age of 12 or 13 years. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between age level and menstrual status with knowledge about the care of female genetal organs in Je'ne Madinging village, Gowa district. The method used is quantitative research with analytical survey design with a cross sectional approach using a questionnaire. the number of samples is 54 respondents. The study used the chi square test with a significance of 95% (p<0.05). The results obtained are as follows: There is a relationship between the level of age and knowledge about the care of female genetal organs P value =0.000 with a significance level of α = 0.05. Meanwhile, there was no correlation between menstrual status and knowledge about the care of female genetal organs. P value = 0.173 with a significance level of α = 0.05. Based on the results of the study, the researchers assumed that age was a factor related to the level of knowledge. Meanwhile, menstrual status is one of the factors that is not related to the level of knowledge. Suggestions: 1) For nursing services it can be input and reading material to increase knowledge 2) For the development of nursing science to increase knowledge and experience in reproductive health nursing research 3) For nursing research the results of this research are expected to be a source of reading material and comparisons for next researcher.
