Then health services in the productive age of Seruyan Hilir Timur District for all diseases amounted to 5,269 people with a percentage of 82.5% of 6,385 people. This study aims to determine the influence of genetic factors, physical activity, diet, smoking habits and stress levels on the incidence of hypertension. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross sectional method. The sample for the study was taken from 10% of the population, namely 107 people from the people of Seruyan Hilir Timur District, Seruyan Regency using a systematic random sampling technique. The results of the research show that there is an influence between genetic factors and smoking habits, while physical activity, diet and stress levels have no effect on the incidence of hypertension in people of productive age in Seruyan Hilir Timur District, Seruyan Regency, with the most dominant factor being the genetic factor (Exp value (B ) or Odds Ratio (OR)=10.474). The Kuala Pembuang II Community Health Center, Seruyan Hilir Timur District, Seruyan Regency is expected to be able to pay more attention and provide education to people of productive age with genetic factors and smoking habits as an effort to prevent early or reduce the risk of complications, and the Seruyan District Health Service is expected to make policies and be able to collaborate with Puskesmas Puskesmas to create classes for people of productive age with a monthly meeting program so they can monitor blood pressure and provide education in keeping their blood pressure stable at every Posyandu activity carried out every month.

Abstract

Various sources of stem cells in the human body, one of which is mesenchymal stem cells derived from bone marrow and Wharton's jelly. This study aims to determine differences in the proliferation count results of 2 stem cells from different sources, bone marrow and Wharton's jelly. The research was conducted using a true experimental design with in-vitro studies. Bone marrow and Wharton's jelly MSC were counted for their proliferation results at 24 hours, 48 hours, and 72 hours. The data then compared using the T-test method. The results of the study showed differences the results of the proliferation count between bone marrow and Wharton's jelly. Qualitatively, Wharton's jelly was seen in 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours. However, quantitatively with statistical tests, the results that were not significant in the first 24 hours (p=0.053). At 48 hours, statistically significant results (p=0.007) were obtained because the cells began to proliferate rapidly and gave a clear difference, and at 72 hours, insignificant statistical results (p 0.074) were found because the cells were confluent and filled the substrate. The ability to reproduce is one of the characteristics possessed by stem cells. This process can be influenced by many factors so that between a culture can vary the speed of proliferation. Proliferation count showed that Wharton's jelly was more than bone marrow in 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours. Different sources of MSC yield different proliferation results.

Abstract

Gout is a metabolic disease characterized by the buildup of uric acid that causes pain in the joints, very often found in the upper legs, ankles and middle legs. Gout is a disease called gout which is associated with a genetic effect on purine metabolism and can cause inflammation due to deposits of uric acid crystals in the joints of the fingers. This type of research is descriptive, that is, it provides an overview of uric acid levels in the elderly who seek treatment at the Stabat Public Health Center, Langkat Regency and is carried out from Oktober to November 2022. The population is all elderly patients who seek treatment at the Stabat Health Center, and the sample of this study was 60 people. The method of data collection is by using primary data obtained directly from the results of measurements of uric acid levels and then presented in tabular form to determine normal and abnormal conditions. The results showed that from a sample of 60 elderly people, uric acid levels increased by 40  people (67 %), while normal glucose levels were 20 people (33 %) and to improve the health of the elderly it is necessary to avoid consuming excessive food. containing high uric acid, perform regular physical activity and check blood uric acid levels regularly.

Abstract

Soybeans are a source of high quality vegetable protein for human consumption or made into products including soy milk. Poorly processed soy milk can be contaminated with disease-causing bacteria, one of which is the Coliform bacteria group. Coliform bacteria are a group of bacteria that are contained in large quantities in human and animal waste, so these bacteria are often used as indicators of food and water quality. Coliform bacteria can cause various diseases, one of which is diarrhea. The aim of this research is to determine the contamination of Coliform bacteria in unbranded soy milk sold at Youtefa Market. The type of research used is descriptive experimental research. Samples were analyzed using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method. The research results showed that 5 of the 5 samples tested were above the standard value, because the MPN value was >3/ml. The conclusion from the data analysis can be concluded that all samples tested contained Coliform bacteria contamination. Keywords: Coliform, Youtefa Market, Soy Milk.

Abstract

The IVA examination coverage rate in Bekasi City is still low, indicating problems of increasing competence. This competency is enhanced through training in early detection of cervical and breast cancer. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of early detection training for cervical cancer and breast cancer for doctors and midwives in increasing the coverage of IVA examinations in Bekasi City. The quantitative approach was applied in this research through a quasi-experimental research design. The population used was all community health centers in Bekasi City, while the sampling technique used was a saturated sampling technique, namely taking all existing samples. Variables are measured using a quantitative questionnaire that has been standarized. This quantitative data analysis uses the SPSS version 18. Quantitative data analysis includes univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study showed that there were differences in knowledge, attitudes and behavior between the control group and the intervention group. Increased IVA coverage in the intervention group after being given early detection training.Early detection training is considered effective because there is an increase in knowledge, attitudes and behavior as well as coverage of IVA in Bekasi City. Future research can measure more comprehensively the effectiveness of training in terms of programs in the health service

Abstract

Saliva plays an important role in physiological function. Alteration in saliva production results in serious health problems that affect patient oral health-related quality of life (OHRQiL). the purpose of the research was to investigate the chemical and physical evaluation of natural artificial saliva formulations. Methods, the data synthesis protocol for a rapid review was conducted according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis Protocol (PRISMA-P). Electronic databases were searched on articles published in 2004- 2024. evaluating Chemical and physical properties of herbal artificial saliva formulations in preclinical study. Results, Identification from the Science Direct and PubMed databases obtained 332 scientific articles and 3 articles met inclusion criteria. Basella alba Linn. (Ceylon Spinach mucilage) shows non-Newtonian characteristic fluid, similar to normal human saliva. It has antioxidative activity, adhesion inhibition, and non-toxic. Propolis extract and Aloe vera extract showed minimal effect on viscoelastic properties but were still in the range of normal human saliva. Dioscorea batatas (Yam tuber mucilage) viscosity shows non-Newtonian characteristic fluid and antibacterial activity by influenced the enzymatic activity of lysozyme and peroxidase. Conclusion, Chemical and physiological evaluation shows that herbal plant extract has the potential to be used as an artificial saliva constituent. It had a viscosity in the range of normal human saliva with several advantages in terms of pharmacological activity.
