Abstract

This research investigates complex inventory management issues in dental clinic settings, including lack of transparency in stock monitoring, challenges in timely procurement planning, and the risk of losing information about expiration dates or item conditions. The methods employed include an initial analysis of existing inventory management processes, stakeholder interviews within dental clinics, and functional testing and user acceptance analysis of the developed inventory system. The research findings demonstrate that developing inventory systems using Agile methodology can address various challenges in dental clinic inventory management, yielding satisfactory results in functional testing and high user acceptance rates. The contribution of this research lies in providing practical concepts and guidelines for dental clinics to manage inventories more efficiently and adaptively, as well as laying a solid foundation for developing inventory systems responsive to changing needs and fast-paced market dynamics.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the Village Fund policy on poverty rates in Indonesia using the head count index (P0), poverty gap index (P1) and poverty severity index (P2), by applying a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative phase uses a panel data model at the district/city level that receives village fund policies in the span of 2015 – 2020, while a case study in Kenebibi Village in Belu Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (sample village) serves as the qualitative phase. Based on the estimation results of the fixed effect model, the village fund policy is statistically proven to reduce P0 but has no effect on P1 and P2. This results were then confirmed through the findings of qualitative research, which shows that the priority programs of the village fund policy in the form of development and community empowerment had not fully benefited the poor of the village, especially the lowest poor groups. Thus, the poverty gap and the severity of poverty could not be solved by village funds. The results of this study suggest that the government needs to evaluate the formulation of village fund allocations by taking into account the gap and severity of poverty, considering the existence of marginal communities as village characteristics, including involving the lowest poor community groups in the village.

Abstract

Security officers often cannot monitor the security of the financial room at any time, especially outside working hours or at night because the financial room is in a special room. Security officers do not receive warnings quickly if someone who does not have the right to enter the financial room when it is empty or outside working hours. The aim of this research is to design an application that can monitor the security of the financial room by providing information or giving warnings in the form of alarms. and sending SMS and Twitter notifications to security officers if someone who does not have access rights enters the financial room, using the DFRduino UnoR3 microcontroller, MC-38 magnetic sensor, PIR sensor, alarm, Sony Ericsson Z530i cellphone, wifi modem, and Bluetooth. If a door opening or movement is detected, the computer will send a command to the DFRduino which is then forwarded to the alarm to provide a sound warning. And with an Android cellphone with a connection via the GSM network, it can be connected to the application so that the computer can send warning notifications to the number that has been registered as the recipient of the notification via Twitter to the username that has been registered. With the magnetic sensor it is possible to detect if a door or window has been forced open and The PIR sensor is used as a support if the magnetic sensor does not work or if the thief enters the room not through a door or window. PIR sensors installed indoors allow all activities that occur to be monitored properly.
