Abstract

This research identified efficiency issues in the insurance claims process at a freight forwarding company, including the lack of system responsiveness, the complexity of claims handling, and the need for a more adaptive and transparent system. The applied research method focused on developing an Agile-based claims management system, including requirements definition, project planning, system development based on requirements specifications, phased implementation, functional, performance, security, and end-user testing, and analysis of test results. The results showed that implementing the Agile-based system successfully improved the efficiency of the claims process, optimized claims handling, reduced response time, and improved user satisfaction. This research contributes to developing a system that can be applied across industries, improving operational efficiency, customer service, and competitiveness in a competitive market.

Abstract

Project management represents a strategic endeavor aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of a company. As technology evolves, it becomes imperative for companies to adapt to the significant changes occurring in the business landscape. This study seeks to provide a comprehensive conceptual explanation of project management. Conducted as a literature review, this paper analyzes various sources from journals, books, and websites that delve into the conceptual aspects of project management. Data collection for this paper is primarily based on documentation, including articles and books, and employs content analysis to analyze descriptive literature data or scientifically analyze premises conveyed. The data analysis methods employed are deductive, inductive, and comparative in nature. The key findings of this study indicate that project activities are temporary endeavors with defined resource allocations, aimed at accomplishing predetermined tasks within a specified timeframe. Project management entails planning, organizing, leading, and controlling company resources to achieve short-term objectives. While this paper shares similarities with others in discussing project management conceptually, it distinguishes itself by providing accompanying methodologies geared towards enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of company resources in project management

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Employee Engagement and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT Agronusa Alam Perkasa, an oil palm plantation company. Data was obtained through surveys and interviews with company employees. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results showed that Employee Engagement has a positive, although not statistically significant, influence on Employee Performance. In contrast, Work Environment has a significant positive influence on Employee Performance. This indicates that aspects of a conducive work environment, such as good lighting and noise, play an important role in improving employee performance. Therefore, companies need to pay greater attention to improving the Work Environment as a strategy to improve employee performance. The limitation of this study is that it does not consider other factors that may affect employee performance. Future research should include these additional factors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the factors.

Abstract

The Oil and Gas Industry (MIGAS) is a vital economic sector, but it faces high risks related to occupational safety and health. Workplace accidents in MIGAS can have serious consequences. In an effort to manage occupational safety in this sector, the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) plays a central role. Additionally, variables such as servant leadership, employee engagement, and work stress also have significant impacts on the level of occupational safety. This research aims to fill the knowledge gap regarding the influence of these variables, with CSMS serving as a mediator. The results of the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM PLS) analysis indicate that Servant Leadership, Employee Engagement, work stress, and the Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) positively and significantly influence the level of occupational safety. Furthermore, Servant Leadership, Employee Engagement, and work stress also have a positive and significant impact on CSMS. The key finding of this research is that CSMS acts as a mediator between Servant Leadership, Employee Engagement, work stress, and the level of occupational safety. The outcomes from the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) reveal that enhancing management commitment, improving training programs, and strengthening partnerships with contractors can substantially enhance occupational safety in specific industries, particularly in the context of the high-risk Oil and Gas industry. This conclusion provides a comprehensive view of the influencing factors and applicable strategies to improve occupational safety in this high-risk industry sector

Abstract

The spread of radicalism took place massively in the community, but unfortunately education model of gender-sensitive deradicalisation does not exist yet. The aim of the study is to find an education model of deradicalisation by utilizing femininity values to erode, brake, counteract, and prevent the development of radicalism. The research model is conducted by combining field research with library research. The collected data are analyzed qualitatively by using elements of philosophical methods in the form of: interpretation, internal coherence, holistics, historical continuity and heuristics. The results of the study found: 1) Deradicalization is essentially an attempt to revive maternal values towards those parties who are influenced by radicalism. Femininity values in the form of love, respect for life, inclusive, tolerance, cooperation, interconnection and interdependence with one another, empathy, care, and equality need to be promoted to prevent the development of radicalism. 2) Women need to be involved in the process of delivering deradicalisation messages because they are more persuasive, more patient, and smarter in touching the feelings of those who have been influenced by radicalism. Women also have an important role to arouse the femininity of women's radicalism groups to revive femininity values. 3) Women-friendly public spaces are needed for convicts who have undergone the process of deradicalization, so that they do not rejoin their groups as well as prevent the development of religious radicalism.
