Abstract

This article aims to explore the process of economic development through Baitul Mal as a solution for resolving property disputes inherited from deceased individuals who have no heirs in Indonesia. The methodology of this article employs doctrinal or normative legal research, utilizing statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The discussion results indicate that Baitul Mal can serve as a solution in inheritance cases where the deceased does not leave behind any heirs, as well as the allocation of the Baitul Mal portion, which needs to be supported by additional rules. These rules will function as a legal umbrella and a basis for implementation at the national level. Furthermore, positive regulations must always incorporate relevant legal provisions, considering the importance of the principle of legality in decision-making. In conclusion, with a clear legal framework in place, Baitul Mal can significantly contribute to the economic development of the community and the effective management of inherited property.

Abstract

The research objective is to identify policy recommendations based on the Quad Helix approach for reforming environmental law in Bandar Lampung City, emphasizing the collaborative roles of government, academia, NGOs, and local communities. As urbanization accelerates, environmental challenges have become increasingly complex, requiring a comprehensive and participatory legal framework to ensure sustainable urban governance. This study analyzes the effectiveness of existing environmental laws, identifies enforcement gaps, and proposes concrete recommendations for improvement. Employing a qualitative research approach, this study utilizes in-depth interviews and document analysis to gather insights from key stakeholders. The findings highlight several critical areas for reform, leading to the following recommendations: (1) Strengthening law enforcement through enhanced institutional capacity and stricter, more consistent sanctions against environmental violations; (2) Increasing public education and awareness by implementing educational programs and community engagement initiatives; (3) Investing in environmental infrastructure, including waste management and drainage systems; and (4) Enhancing multi-stakeholder collaboration, particularly with the private sector, NGOs, and local communities, to improve environmental sustainability programs. By integrating these recommendations within a Quad Helix governance model, this research underscores the necessity of synergistic and inclusive environmental law reform in Bandar Lampung, ensuring a resilient, participatory, and ecologically sustainable urban future.

Abstract

This research aims to know the communication of the partnership of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan in optimizing the Zero Waste program through the Rapel PT WAE application in the Semarang Region in 2024, along with the obstacles and solutions. This research occurred at the BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Office and the PT WAE Office in Semarang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations, documentation, and literature studies. This study uses the main theories of CMC, RDT (Relational Dialectics Theory), and Interaction Analysis. The results indicate that communication runs in two directions and is linearly carried out directly face to face and indirectly via email and using WA Group media, by creating the Borobudur tour event, meetings, and joint discussions. The obstacles are 1) differences in policies that are seen by PT WAE where the policy becomes profit oriented 2) External factors where users must compete with scavengers to get materials because of the quantity factor of the provisions of the Rapel officers 3) Lack of socialization and delivery of information appropriately to users for the provisions of garbage pick up from the Rapel officers 4) Communication is not only on one media.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the role of transformational leadership in mediating the influence of work stress and work motivation on employee performance. The research was conducted at the Intelligence and Security Agency (Baintelkam) of the Indonesian National Police using a quantitative approach and path analysis method. The sample consisted of 126 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and tested for validity, reliability, and regression assumptions. Path analysis using the help of the sobel-test application. The findings reveal that work stress does not significantly affect transformational leadership or employee performance. conversely, work motivation positively and significantly influences transformational leadership and employee performance. Transformational leadership also mediates the relationship between work motivation and employee performance but does not mediate the effects of work stress on performance. These results underscore the importance of transformational leadership in enhancing work motivation and improving employee performance. However, addressing the effects of work stress requires additional measures, such as creating a more adaptive work environment. Practically, this study highlights the need for organisations to strengthen transformational leadership capacity and prioritise managing employee motivation and stress to foster a productive and conducive workplace.

Abstract

Tissue damage caused by trauma, fracture or disease requires restoration to restore its function to its original state. According to data from the Hospital Information System (SIRS) 2010, cases of bone fractures in Indonesia have increased every year. Bone healing requires cells to form new bone. Hydroxyapatite (HA) is a ceramic biomaterial that is widely used because it has chemical and structural characteristics similar to the inorganic components of bones and teeth, its osteoconductivity/inductivity is very good, biocompatible and does not cause an inflammatory response. The main source of HA is synthetic materials that are chemically and biologically natural (eggshells and cuttlefish, coral, natural calcite and cow bones). In previous studies, eggshells have a higher ability in bone formation. To explain the effectiveness of hydroxyapatite in bone remodeling. Analyzing journals sourced from the PubMed, Ebsco, Google Scholar data bases taken from 2012 to 2024. There are 15 references that have been found and cover the topic of the effectiveness of hydroxyapatite on bone remodeling. Conclusion: Hydroxyapatite is effective in bone remodeling because it has a main mineral composition that resembles the mineral composition of bones, has biocompatible properties and does not cause an inflammatory response.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which social media content exposure influences consumer behavior patterns, using DeFleur's media dependency theory as the analytical framework. This theory explains that the relationship between mass media and individuals or society is dynamic and mutually influential, meaning that exposure to social media content has the potential to shape users' consumption habits. As individuals increasingly rely on social media for information and recommendations, their purchasing decisions may be influenced by the content they frequently engage with. To test this influence, the study employs a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 132 respondents who are followers of the Instagram account @jastip_dongka. This account specializes in offering online shopping services, making its followers relevant subjects for analyzing how social media exposure shapes consumer behavior. Through this survey, four main indicators of the independent variable (X) were analyzed: frequency, duration, interaction, and content type consumed. The findings indicate that all four indicators significantly impact the dependent variable (Y), which is consumptive behavior patterns. Furthermore, the study measures the overall contribution of these indicators to shaping consumptive behavior, which accounts for 29.2%, while the remaining 70.8% is influenced by factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the extent to which the frequency, duration, and attention to exposure to @explorebandung's Instagram content influence tourism visit interest. Using a quantitative approach with a survey method, this study involved 150 respondents to collect data, which was then analyzed using simple regression techniques. The findings indicate that the three aspects of tourism content exposure frequency, duration, and attention significantly influence a person's interest in visiting a tourist destination. Furthermore, the results of the coefficient of determination test reveal that 34.2% of visit interest is influenced by exposure to tourism content, while the remaining 65.8% is determined by other factors not examined in this study. These findings emphasize that social media, particularly Instagram, plays an important role in shaping tourists' decision-making processes. Thus, this study reinforces that the alternative hypothesis can be accepted, proving that exposure to social media content has a significant impact on tourists' decisions. Additionally, this research successfully achieves its objectives and provides insights into how social media can be effectively utilized as a marketing strategy in the tourism industry.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication strategies between parents and children play a crucial role in fostering openness, especially in military families characterized by strict discipline and hierarchy. This study analyzes the communication patterns applied by military parents in supporting children's openness and identifying barriers in family communication within the military dormitory environment. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study examines parent-child communication experiences through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Specifically, Interpersonal Deception Theory (IDT) is used to understand how parents adjust openness in communication to avoid conflict or maintain family stability. The findings indicate that communication in military families relies on instructive, experience-based, and adaptive strategies, as well as the use of symbols and codes. However, overly formal and authoritative patterns can limit children's ability to express emotions and opinions. Parents often filter or simplify information about military duties and family issues, potentially reducing children's openness. Additionally, the hierarchical structure influences trust and emotional closeness. The study suggests that balancing authority with emotional support is essential to fostering healthy communication and ensuring a more open and supportive family environment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the impact of inflation, Bank Indonesia's interest rates, and exchange rates on financial performance based on return on equity in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The subjects of this research were the banking companies in Indonesia. The data source uses panel data. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with specific criteria for companies that have undergone audits and market trends that have experienced a decline, totaling twenty seven companies. Before conducting multiple regression analysis, the data underwent prerequisite tests in the form of classical assumption tests. The research results show that: With the increase in interest rates, the net asset value in the banking industry decreases. The higher the interest rate applied, the more it will reduce the amount of bank credit. The impact will reduce profits and equity. When the exchange rate of the rupiah is higher, the tendency for prices to increase affects the rise in commodity prices. Next, production costs rise, leading to a loss of product competitiveness and a decline in company performance, marked by decreasing net profit and equity.
