Pillar of Physics Education : Jurnal Berkala Ilmiah Pendidikan Fisika
Pillar of Physics Education: International Journal on Physics Education is an open-access and peer-reviewed journal, published by Universitas Negeri Padang, which is dedicated to intercharge for the results of high-quality in all aspect of physics education. Learning in Education Unit Level Curriculum requires the innovative teaching materials to increase student competence. An alternative way to get it is student worksheet oriented multiple intelligences model. The goal of research is to detect student worksheet oriented model of multiple intelligences influence towards the student competence of the 11th grade in SMAN 2 Padang. This research is a quasi-experimental with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The result of research show that students learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains respectively 81.28, 73.90, and 84.10. The use of student worksheet oriented multiple intelligences model has a significant impact on the physics students competence in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains

This article is about the animated media influence on contextual teaching and learning against the competence of physics students of Class XI SCIENCE SMA 7 Negeri Sijunjung. Low competence of physics at SMA Negeri 7 Sijunjung occurs because the students had trouble understanding the concepts of physics that are abstract. Media animation is good media in conveying information that is abstract in the learning process, so it takes an approach that helps in delivering abstract information is becoming more real as contextual teaching and learning. Type of this research is quasi experiments research with Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research is seluruhnya of the grade XI SMA Negeri 7 Sijunjung listed on the school year 2013/2014, sampling techniques using Cluster Random Sampling. Both research class is equally contextual teaching and learning, given the treatment of the animation media is only given in the experimental class of sample 2. Research instrument is the written test for the cognitive aspect, the observation sheet for affective aspect of competence, and scoring rubrics for competency in psychomotor aspect. Influence happens views by using the test of similarity of two average followed by a simple regression test, and test the product-moment correlation on a real level of 0.05. The results showed that indeed the animated media affect the competence of physics students, affects in terms of a better direction. The influence of more high class experimental learning outcomes than the control class on a third aspect of assessment

This study aims to investigate the influence of Handout oriented scientific approach to science learning outcomes-physics class IX students of SMP Earth 2 Padang in the 1st half of the school year 2014/2015. The research is a "quasi experiment" with the draft "only randomized control group design. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling. Data research include learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The research instrument in the form of a written test for cognitive learning outcomes, observation sheet for affective learning outcomes, and the scoring rubric for the assessment of psychomotor performance. Data analysis of learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor the experimental class is better than the control class. Conclusion of the study is the hypothesis that there is a significant effect of giving handouts oriented scientific approach to science learning outcomes-Physics Students junior class IX Earth 2 fields can be accepted at the 0.05 significance level.

One factor that makes Students having low competency in Natural Science is the use of ineligible worksheet which don’t matching with teacher’s learning method applied. One of solutions to overcome the issue is the use of student worksheet based on Discovery Learning assisted by Mind Map. Kind of research is quasi experimental research by design of Randomized Control Group Only Design. The population of this research is students of SMPN 6 Bukittinggi grade 7th in 2014/2015. Sample is taken based on Purposive Sampling technique. Research cover competency of attitude, cognitive, and skill aspect. The research instrument is observation form for attitude and skill aspect than test for cognitive aspect. The data was analysed by using t- test. Based on analysis of data, average of experimental sample competency more than control sample. The result of the research shows that the using of student worksheet based on Discovery Learning assisted by Mind Map gives significant impact to students’ Natural Science competency of SMP Negeri 6 Bukittinggi grade 7th at 0,05 significance level

Various ways can be done to improve the competence of learner that includes the competent of knowledge, skills and attitude. One of the ways is to design learning appropriate ti the needs of students. In terms of instructional materials or learning models. Using KR-Chart in guided discovery learning model is one of the altenative to increase the competence. This research aims to look at the effect of using KR-Chart in guide discovery learning model to the achievement of student competencies at the SMP 3 Padang. This research classified into Quasi Experimen research with design Randomized Control Group Only Design. The research population was all students in grade VIII registered in the academic year 2013/2014. Sampling was carry out by using purposive sampling. Research data includes knowledge competencies, skills and attitude. The research instrument is in the form of a written test for competency knowledge, scorring rubric for competency skills and observation sheet for competence of attitude. Data were analyzed using statistical test of equality of two average (t-test). The result of the research shows averange result of experimental class learning higher than the control for the third competency. Throght testing the equality of two averange turn differences competence of learners experimental class and control class differend significantly on the real level of significant 0,05. This difference is believed to be the effect of the treatment given to the experimental class, so that it can be said that hypothesis is accepted

One of the subjects that are important for the development of science and technology is the study of Physics. The results obtained by the students in learn physics is still low. Media that are less attractive and less effective learning strategies in the learning process of physics to be the cause . Physics learning process can be improved by applying learning media in the form of a virtual laboratory with cooperative learning model Student Team Learning. The type of this research is “quasi experiment research” with “Randomized Control Group Only Design” . The population of this research is students of class X MAN 2 Padang listed in the Academic Year 2013/2014 . Sample was collected by cluster random sampling . The data of the research were the student’s learning outcomes in the area of cognitive aspects, affectif aspects, and psychomotor aspects. The research’s instrument are test sheet (multiple choice) for cognitive aspects, observation sheet for affective aspect, and score rubric for phychomotor aspect. The result of this research showed that the mean score of the experimental class was higher then control class. The low physics learning outcomes of students in SMA N 13 Padang because students who have not mastered the concept. The cause is rarely student practicum and worksheets are used not lead students to think creatively and independently, so it need worksheets that can lead students to think creatively and independently. One type of worksheets that can be used to overcome these problems is worksheets based Project Based Learning. Therefore, this research was conducted to determine the effect of worksheets based Project Based Learning on learning outcomes physics class X SMA N 13 Padang on the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. This research is a Quasi-Experimental Researc with design Randomized Control Only Group Design. The population in this research were all students in the tenth grade at SMA N 13 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2014/2015. Sampling was determined through purposive sampling technique. The instrument in this research is the ultimate test for competency knowledge, attitudes observation sheet for competence, and performance assessment sheets for competency skills. Data were analyzed by using test the equality of two average. The results shows that the competence of knowledge, the average value of the final test experimental class is 77.03 while the control class 66.09. On the attitude of competence, the average value of the experiment showed a very good grade while good control class. On competency skills, the average value of the experimental class is 85.56 while the control class 81.28. Therefore, the working hypothesis which states that "there is significant influence implementation of worksheets based Project Based Learning on learning outcomes physics class X SMA N 13 Padang on the competence of knowledge, attitudes, and skills" can be accepted at the 0.05 significance level. Thus worksheets based Project Based Learning can improve physics learning outcomes of students in competency knowledge, attitudes, and skills

The low student learning outcomes are caused by competence of problem solving is low. student can increase their competence of problem solving with solve the hot issue. The issues raised can be a problem and a solution of energy crisis in the form of wind energy. Presentation material can use worksheets that have integrated wind energy materials. This research aims to : 1 ) Investigate the influence of LKS integrated wind energy material to the learning outcomes Physics at XIth SMAN 6 Padang 2 ) Investigate the contribution of wind energy material integrated worksheets for learning outcomes physics class XI SMAN 6 Padang. Type of research is quasi-experimental study with randomize control group only design. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIA ( Mathematics and Natural Sciences ) SMAN 6 Padang listed in the Academic Year 2014 / 2015. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The research data in the form of data learning outcomes of students competency of knowledge, attitudes and skills as well as the integrated value data LKS wind energy materials. Data were analyzed using two similarity test average at significance level 0.05, regression and correlation test on the competence of knowledge, attitudes and skills. Conclusion The study are integrated LKS influence of wind energy on the material work and energy , harmonious vibration, momentum and impulse to the study of students of class XI SMAN 6 Padang accepted at the 0,05 significance level. Learning material by integrating competency in learning process is important. In fact integration of competency in learning material does not conducted yet. An alternative solution to solve this problem was to apply the ICT learning material by integrating Mathematics, Science, technology, disaster, and character values (MSTDC). The purpose of this research were to determine the competency of the Physics students and to investigate the effect ICT learning material by integrating MSTDC to the competency of Physics students grade XI at SMAN 1 Padang. Type of research was quasi experimental research with randomized control group only design. The population in this research were the students grade XI MIA SMAN I Padang who were registered in the 2014/2015 academic year. Sampling technique was purposive sampling. There were three instruments in this research, tose are test sheet of knowledge domain, observation sheet of attitude domain, and performance sheet of skill domain. Based on the data analysis could be presented the result of this research. First, the average value of students which use ICT learning material of Physics by integrating MSTDC in knowledge domain, attitude domain, and skill domain respectively 87.52, 90.52, and 86.90. Second, the use of ICT learning material by integrating MSTDC has given significant effect toward Physics competency of students grade XI SMAN 1 Padang at 0,05 signifacation lev
