Abstract

The student competence consists of knowledge, attitudes and skills. Competence is expexted to be reached after learning. In fact, the achievement of competence is not optimal. One of the causes is the lack of the student’s motivation. The solution of this problem is by using integrated student worksheetof character values in the ICARE model. It is expected to engender the motivation of learning as well as the change of the student’s attitude to be better. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the use of LKS integrated character values in the ICARE model towards the competence of science students grade VIIat SMPN 35.This type of research was quasi experiment using randomized control group only design. The population of this research were all the students grade VII at SMPN 35  Padangwhich were registered in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The technique of purposive sampling was used to collect the sample. The research data consist of knowledge, spiritual attitudes, social attitudes and skills.The collected data were analized by using Chi Square at significance level of 0.05 and dk 1. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the using of integrated student worksheet of character values in the ICARE model gives means influence toward to the competence of science students grade VII at SMPN 35 Padang.

Abstract

Significant influence of the 21st century provides a change in education in Indonesia. The 21st century requires everyone to have a variety of skills to be able to compete in the face of the changing times. The government changed the curriculum from KTSP to 2013 curriculum. The 2013 curriculum suggested appropriate learning models used for science and physics learning, one of which was the Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) model. This study aims to analyze the IBL model in learning physics and science. This research method is a meta-analysis with a sample of 10 articles in national journals. The result of this meta-analysis research is that the IBL model can improve student learning outcomes. Media and teaching materials used to support the implementation of the IBL model are virtual laboratories and student worksheets. The dominant material used in the IBL research model is temperature and heat. Most of the research conducted is experimental research, some research development and classroom action research. Therefore, the IBL model is very good to use if the media and teaching materials  are used are virtual laboratories and student worksheet.

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine the effect of the use of teaching materials loaded with character values ​​in cooperative learning model to learning outcomes TGT physics class XI SMA N 1 Padang.This is a type of quasi-experimental study with a design Randomized Control Group Only Design and population of all the students of class XI SMA N 1 Padang enrolled in school year 2013/2014 . Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The samples were class XI IPA 6 and class XI IPA 7. The research instrument is a written final test for cognitive learning outcomes, observation sheet for the affective domain of learning outcomes, and the scoring rubric for the psychomotor domain of learning outcomes. Analysis used two similarity test mean that the t test at the 0.05 significance level for the learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.Based on the analysis of datathe results showed that there is a significant effect on the use of teaching materials loaded with character values ​​in cooperative learning model to learning outcomes TGT physics class XI SMA N 1 Padang

Abstract

In the 4.0 industrial revolution the world experienced rapid changes due to the rapid development of information technology. The development of technology has an impact on the world of education. Various attempts have been made by the government to deal with technological and information developments including curriculum and program changes that can improve teacher competency. In learning can not be separated from the assessment process. Assessments are given for each student activity for example assessments on project task. Teachers must be innovative, creative and able to develop and use learning media that are in line with the development of science and technology. Researchers are interested in making assessment applications that can be used as a medium to assist teachers in the assessment process of assignments given to students. The type of research in accordance with the problems and objectives that have been raised is analysis. The researcher conducts a needs analysis in the context of the need to make an appraisal application. This analysis was conducted at SMAN 1 Padang in class XI which was conducted by distributing questionnaires to students and teachers. Questionnaires given to respondents have been validated by experts and can be used. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet containing positive and negative responses. The data analysis technique used in this study uses descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results of the needs analysis that is not optimal implementation of learning in the realm of skills, assessments conducted by teachers are more focused on the realm of knowledge with assignments in the form of physics questions, project assignments are still not optimal, the use of technology that is not optimal in conducting assessments, and media / the material given has not been interesting. Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of the use of inquiry based learning model the development of high school physic learning material to increase student competences. The effect will be study from the previous researches. This research used meta-analysis method. Meta-analysis is the study on a number of research results in similar problem. The analysis unit in this research was written documents about the research of high school physic learning material using inquiry based learning model to increase the student competences, these were ten  thesis which was taken purposively based on the compatibility with research theme. The main instrument of this research was self-research assisted by documentations guide. The data analysis that was used were qualitative data analysis for the data analysis for the data of narrative result toward the researches which was found and quantitative data with percentage value. The research result indicated hat high school physics learning material using inquiry based learning model is valid, practice, effective, and able to increase the students competences

Abstract

Holistic competencies of learner are important in 2013 curriculum for all subject. But holistic competencies aren’t implemented in physics learning proccess in high school yet. As solution of this problem is to implement learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence in inquiry model. The objective of this research is to investigate the difference competence of students and to investigate the effect of learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence. The type of this research is quasy experiment with randomized control group only design. As population of this research is all learner grade X in SMAN 5 Padang that leasted in 2016/2017 years. Sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. There are three instruments in this research, those are test sheet, observation sheet, and performance sheet. Data are analized by descriptive statistic, compare mean test, linear regresion, and corelation analysis. There are two of  research results. First, implementation of learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence in Iinquiry model has given significant difference competece of learners including knowledge, spiritual, social and emotional, and skills competence. Second, implementation of learning textbook by integrating comprehensive intelligence in inquiry model has given significant effect to improve knowledge, spiritual, emotional and social, and skills competences of learner respectly 21.16 %, 30.02 %, 12.38 %, and 30.02%

Abstract

The low competence of students in the physics caused by difficult students in understanding the concepts of physics, materials used have not made use of the media as well as active students have not varied.One of the solutions given Student Work Sheets (LKS) assisted media power point which features animation. The purpose research is to investigate the differences and relationship of the use of assisted LKS media power point which features animated models direct insruction with achievement of competence of students of class X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi. The type of research used in this study was quasi experimental research studies randomized control group only design. The population of the entire research grade X IPA are registered on an even semester academic year 2016/2017 sampling and cluster random sampling technique. Research data includes two competencies, knowledge and competency competency skills as well as values is LKS. Instrument data in the form of a final test for competence of knowledge and competence for performance pieces of skill. Data obtained from the instrument are analyzed in the form of a test of similarity of two average, regression test and correlation value is LKS in class experiments. The results of the analysis show the average value on competence of the knowledge experimental class higher than the class of the control knowledge competencies. Calculation of test equality of two average in competence of the knowledge obtained t'h = 3.10 is greater than t`t = 2.03, so the working hypothesis accepted. Through regression analysis and correlation obtained the relationship between the value of knowledge and competence is LKS as a strong student, with percentage contributions to 74.62% is LKS on the real extent of 0.05 so that research can be concluded there is a difference in meaning is LKS as media-assisted use of power point animation that comes in models for direct instruction against the competence of physics students of class X SMAN 5 Bukittinggi

Abstract

Learning media is everything that used to stimulate student’s mind, feeling, attention and motivation so that can push learning process. Used of learning media based on computer hopelly can visualization something abstract in physics so that can help teachers and students in interactive learning process use Macromedia flash 8 proffesional. This research is aim  to produce source lesson such as learning interactive media using Macromedia flash 8 proffesional in valid and practice mechanics concepts. This research is Research and Development (R & D) research. This object is interactive learning media using Macromedia flash 8 proffesional. Data collection instrument in this research is professional sheet validation and practicality sheet for teachers and students. Used of data analitycal technic is descriptive analyze. From this analyze of proffesional sheet validation find validation value 87,47, sedangkan nilai praktikalitas dari siswa mendapatkan nilai 80,1. Based on analize theory  using  metoda grafik method, validation value and practicallity of this learning media classified in very good criteria

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect size of the use of problem-based learning models in five categories, namely class level, material, aspects of knowledge, aspect of critical thinking skills, and aspects of problem solving skills. The method used in this research is meta-analysis. Data analyzed is secondary data obtained from the previous research. The sample of this research consists of 18 national articles and 2 international articles . The instrument used is the category code and the calculation of the size of the effect. Data analysis techniques in this study using the calculated effect size of each article. The results showed that the influence of the use of problem based learning model on the level of class X with the average of 1.22 in a category very high. Although, on the level of class XI with an average of 1,95 in the category of very high. Second, the influence of problem-based learning on the electric dynamic, motion, heat and temperature, and optical geometric was high. Moreover, Newton's Law is very high. Third, the influence of the problem-based learning model, on aspects of knowledge in the category of very high, aspects of critical thinking skills including high category, and aspects of skills problem solving belongs to the category of high

Abstract

The purpose of Indonesian education is to develop capabilities and shape dignified national character and civilization. In line with the objectives of Indonesian education, education today must be able to produce highly competitive human resources. The reality at school shows that there is still a low percentage of students in achieving the Minimum Completion Criteria set. The low student learning outcomes are caused by several factors, among others, the students' initial knowledge is less attention, the lack of teachers explaining real problems in daily life, teachers rarely involve students actively in problem-solving, and inadequate school laboratory facilities. The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of the use of the Virtual Laboratory Student Worksheet in the Problem Solving Learning Model on the competency of class X students at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with pretest and posttest. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling. The instrument for collecting data consists of written test sheets for knowledge competencies and performance assessment sheets for skills competencies. Data from the study were analyzed by analysis of two-way ANOVA. Based on data analysis it can be stated that the use of the Virtual Laboratory Student Worksheet in the Problem Solving learning model has had a significant influence on the competency of the knowledge and skills of class X students at SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang. The conclusion of the results of this study is that there is a significant effect of the application of virtual laboratory Student Worksheet in the problem-solving learning model towards the competency of class X students of SMA Pertiwi 1 Padang.
