Abstract

The use of LKPD in schools has not made students active in learning. This is because LKPD is less attractive and does not yet contain steps for activities. The effort to make students interested and active in learning is by using Accelerated Learning based LKPD. This study aims to produce Accelerated Learning based LKPD on business materials, simple planes, structure and plant functions for valid VIII grade junior high school students. This research focuses on the research of making teaching materials in the form of LKPD in line with Accelerated Learning in accordance with the steps of making teaching materials in the form of LKPD according to the Ministry of National Education. The results of the study are LKPD fulfilling very valid criteria. Based on the research that has been done, two research results are obtained. First, this research resulted in an accelerated learning worksheet for students. And the results of the second study are the results of the validity test conducted twice, with an average value of the first validity of 83 with very valid criteria and the average value of the second validity of 87 with very valid criteria. So, the conclusion of this research is that the worksheet for accelerated learning-based students is very feasible to be used in learning on work material, simple aircraft, structure and function of plant tissue.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the application of teaching material contains character values in direct instruction model against the results of learning to grade XI SMAN 1 Bukittinggi. This research included in this type of research experiments with type quasy experiment research using randomized control study design group posttest only design. The population of the research was the students of class XI SMAN 1 Bukittinggi. Samples were taken using a purposive sampling technique, which consists of XI IPA 1 as experimental class with the number of 35 students and XI IPA 3 as the control class with the number of 35 students. Data analysis techniques using a t-test on the level of significance of 0.05 for the domain of  cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Data collection techniques in the form of a written test to the domain of    cognitive and affective domain for observation and psychomotor. The results showed that the average value of experimental class higher than the class of the control. Thus, application of teaching material values-laden characters effect on student learning outcomes at the level of significance of 0.05. Abstract

Student worksheet have been applied at school but it’s implementation in the learning is not optimum yet. Hence, the students competence are still low. The result of the students learning will be more optimum with the implementation  of teaching material which is able to increase students motivation to study. Hence, this research aims to see the effect of  student worksheet implementation with generative learning model material to the students competence at SMPN 7 Padang. The Type research of Quasi experiment with Non Equvalen Control Group design. The population of this research are the VIII grade students of SMPN 7 Padang in the 2017/2018 academic  year. The sample taken with Purposive Sampling Technique. The instrument of this research is the objective tes for the knowledge competence, attitude competence, and the assignment sheet for work and skill competence. The hipotesis of this research tested with test the similarity of two average. The Type of this research result are : 1) the average of the knowledge compentence in the experiment class is 82.82, is higher than the control class 76.53. 2) the average of the manner compentences in the experiment class is 82,71is higher than the conrol class 80,09. 3) the average  of the creativity competence in the experiment class is 84.00, is higher than the control class 79.00. to conclude the result of this study is there are several significant influence of the students worksheet implemention with the generative leaning in the students of SMPN 7 Padang compentence.

Abstract

Integrating Science, ICT, and character values in learning are important in education. The fact of this  integration is not done optimal in school. Alternative solution of this problem is use of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science. The purpose of this research is determine the competence of students in learning by using of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science in materials linear motion, structure of plan, motion system, simple machine and investigate the impact of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science in materials linear motion, structure of plan, motion system, simple machine the competence of students class VIII SMPN 8 Padang. The kind of this reseach is the quasi experiment research. The population of this research were all of the students of SMPN 8 Padang of academic year 2014/2015. Sampling technique was purposive sampling. The data of the research were the competence of students on aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Research instrument in the form of sheets of learning outcomes assessment, observation sheets, and performance assessment sheet. Based on data analysis of research that has been done can be stated that the results of this study are: competence of students in learning by use of  student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science on aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills respectly 76.17, 81.60, and 89.84. Second, the use of student worksheet based web by integrating character values in the learning of natural science in materials linear motion, structure of plan, motion system, simple machine give effect to the competence of students class VIII SMPN 8 Padang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of constructivist-based physics teaching materials with inquiry learning on the material of rotational dynamics and hooke laws on the scientific literacy of students at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam. Research carried out including the type of quasi experiment research (quasi-experimental). The population of this study is all students of class XI SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung In the 2018/2019 school year. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique with the research data taken was student learning outcomes in science literacy skills. The research instrument is the final test to measure the ability of scientific literacy. The research data were analyzed using two similarity test averages. Based on data analysis, the average value of students' scientific literacy for the two sample classes (experimental and control) prior to the study was 17.73 and 23.67, and after the study the average values were 64.09 and 60.83 . T test analysis shows the value of p>α so that the alternative hypothesis is rejected. Due to students 'initial abilities are different, while the final test shows the same average so that the use of teaching materials can be said to affect the increase in students' scientific literacy.

Abstract

Various ways can be done to improve the competence of learner that includes the competent of knowledge, skills and attitude. One of the ways is to design learning appropriate ti the needs of students. In terms of instructional materials or learning models. Using KR-Chart in guided discovery learning model is one of the altenative to increase the competence. This research aims to look at the effect of using KR-Chart in guide discovery learning model to the achievement of student competencies at the SMP 3 Padang. This research classified into Quasi Experimen research with design Randomized Control Group Only Design. The research population was all students in grade VIII registered in the academic year 2013/2014. Sampling was carry out by using purposive sampling. Research data includes knowledge competencies, skills and attitude. The research instrument is in the form of a written test for competency knowledge, scorring rubric for competency skills and observation sheet for competence of attitude. Data were analyzed using statistical test of equality of two average (t-test). The result of the research shows averange result of experimental class learning higher than the control for the third competency. Throght testing the equality of two averange turn differences competence of learners experimental class and control class differend significantly on the real level of significant 0,05. This difference is believed to be the effect of the treatment given to the experimental class, so that it can be said that hypothesis is accepted

Abstract

The 21st century requires a person to read and write more (literacy) in order to improve one’s skills in thinking and acting. Supporting facilities for integrating literacy in the physics learning process can be by making teaching materials. Teaching material made is teaching material with scientific literacy in heat material and kinetic theory of gas. The purpose of the research that has been done is to determine the validity of teaching materials with scientific literacy in heat material and kinetic theory of gas. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The object of his research is teaching material with scientific literacy. The data collection instrument used was a validation test sheet to determine product validity. Validation was carried out by three experts namely physics lecturers at Universitas Negeri Padang. The validation test sheet consists of four assessment components, namely the suitability content, the presentation component, the linguistic component and the graphic component. The results of research that have been done, obtained teaching materials with scientific literacy in the theory of heat and kinetic gas which is valid. This means that teaching material with scientific literacy in the heat and kinetic theory of gas is valid to use.

Abstract

One of the most important learning tools in 2013 Curriculum to support Basic Competence skill is student’s worksheet But in reality, many schools that have not optimized the lab activities in school because there is no complete student’s worksheet in accordance with the demands of the curriculum. Therefore, the curriculum should be designed in accordance with the demands of 2013 Curriculum. In this case the designed curriculum is in the form of virtual laboratory that are accessed through ICT. The advantages of virtual laboratory-based student’s worksheet can improve the mastery of abstract physical concepts. The purpose of this research is to produce student’s worksheet design based on virtual laboratory through ICT. Research conducted including the type of Research and development (R & D) with the appropriate steps proposed by Sugiyono. The object of the research is student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT on wave matter, optics, and global warming of class XI SMA. Based on the analysis of data obtained obtained two research results. First, the design of student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory. Second, the result of validity for student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory with result of average validity value is 90,19. This shows that the student’s worksheet based on virtual laboratory through ICT on the material of light and global warming is valid to be used in Physics learning in SMA XI class.

Abstract

This research originated from the fact that learning in school is still not involve students learn actively, learning that takes place is still centered on the teacher, the use of teaching materials that do not attract resulting in low yields physics learning and critical thinking skills of learners. This research aims to investigate the influence of handout of physics interactive multimedia based discovery learning aided games to the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 3 Padang. The hypothesis of this research is there are a meaningful impact handout of physics interactive multimedia based discovery learning aided games to the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 3 Padang.To achieve the goal of the research conducted quasi-experimental research design with randomized control group only design. The research population was all students of class X SMAN 3 Padang enrolled in the academic year 2016/2017 and sampling using purposive sampling and class X chosen as an experimental class X MIA 1 and  class X MIA 2 as the control class. The research instrument in the aspect of knowledge is the achievement test.Based on the analysis of data obtained the product moment correlation analysis shows that the interactive multimedia teaching materials physics game aided contributing to critical thinking skills of students by 28%. The conclusion from this research is there a meaningful impact handout of physics interactive multimedia based discovery learning aided games to the critical thinking skills of students grade X SMAN 3 Padang
