Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan hasil pemikiran manusia yang penting untuk diperkenalkan kepada para peserta didik mengingat ia dapat digunakan untuk membantu siswa melihat kehidupan dengan cara yang lebih utuh, sehingga dapat membantu siswa menjadi pribadi yang tidak sekadar berpikir praktis, namun juga bijaksana dan dewasa. Dalam proses pembacaan dan kritik atau apresiasi terhadap karya sastra, selalu ada kerangka berpikir dasar yang digunakan. Artikel ini hendak membahas bagaimana wawasan dunia Kristen, dan secara khusus narasi besar Alkitab, dapat menjadi kerangka acuan dalam proses pengajaran dan pemaknaan karya sastra. Hal ini dilakukan dengan menelisik ide-ide penting dari empat narasi besar Alkitab Penciptaan, Kejatuhan, Penebusan, Konsumasi dan menggunakannya untuk mengapresiasi novel Bumi Manusia karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer.

Abstract

Every teaching is selected and utilized to suit the circumstances and requirements of its audience. Each meeting differs as educators comprehend the intrinsic nature of each individual, both in general and as unique individuals. The interaction between teacher and student manifests changes in the student's character and fosters rapid intellectual growth. Such pedagogy can guide students in comprehending their faith through the teachings of Jesus Christ. Jesus, as a teacher, imparted truths capable of nurturing human character. The fundamental principle of Jesus's teachings consistently pertained to educational matters, aiming to shape an individual's character and infuse a spiritual essence, harmonizing it with their being. In his teachings, Jesus consistently imbued Christian culture and employed language congruent with personal experiences, societal concerns, customary practices, family life, and religious concepts.

Abstract

A high-quality education will produce a well-educated pupil as well. Of course this is not apart from the human resources that play a role in the educational unit as an educator. As a teacher of Christianity education must have adequate ability in teaching, both scientifically disciplined and spiritually the teacher. At the present time there are still many problems arising in the world of education in Indonesia. It is also not apart from the Primary Secondary School of Banjarbaru City specifically Christian education that exists in the City of banjarbaru. The results of a survey of 10 teachers of Christian education at Banjarbaru Primary High School as respondents showed that there are still Christian teachers in the city that do not have the professionalism in teaching based on the concept of Jesus' supremacy in John 13:12-20 and have not had the basic competence under Act No. 14 of 2005 scientifically. This research uses qualitative research with techniques in data collection through interviews, observations and documentation studies. The aim of this research is to find out how much the quality of PAK teachers in the first secondary school in Banjarbaru city, and what the impact of when a teacher has quality on PAK learning in the city of Banjerbaru. It turns out there was a positive influence on Christian education in Banjarbaru City's First High School when a teacher had good qualities and focused.

Abstract

Christian religious education in school environments plays a central role in shaping the character and spiritual growth of students. However, Christian religious education teachers at SDN Semplak 2 Kota Bogor face various challenges, ranging from personal factors to complex social dynamics, which can affect their effectiveness in guiding the spiritual growth of students. In this study, the author will identify several aspects related to Christian religious education in schools due to the existing knowledge gap regarding the impact of teachers' spiritual lives on the spiritual growth of students at SDN Semplak 2 Kota Bogor. Therefore, this study aims to fill this gap by analyzing the influence of teachers' spiritual lives on the spiritual growth of students. It is hoped that this research will provide valuable insights for the development of more effective Christian religious education curricula and help improve the competence of teachers in guiding the spiritual growth of students in the school environment. The research method used is interviews and observations as data collection tools. The research respondents consist of Christian religious education teachers and students at SDN Semplak 2. The results of the data analysis indicate a significant influence between the spiritual lives of teachers and the spiritual growth of students. The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of the role of Christian religious education teachers in shaping the character and faith of students in the school environment. This study can provide important input for curriculum development and the mentoring of Christian religious education teachers at SDN Semplak 2 in improving the quality of Christian religious education and the spiritual growth of students.

Abstract

Sekolah Minggu tempat yang sangat penting untuk perkembangan spiritual dan moral anak-anak. Sekolah Minggu dapat menjadi lingkungan yang mendukung anak-anak untuk memperkuat fondasi spiritual dan moral mereka, membantu mereka tumbuh menjadi orang yang baik serta bertanggung jawab dalam komunitas mereka dengan melalui pendidikan formal dan informal. Peran guru sekolah minggu sangat penting serta berdampak dalam mendidik perilaku anak-anak sekolah minggu. Mereka tidak hanya mengajarkan nilai-nilai agama dan moral kepada anak-anak, tetapi juga membantu membentuk kepribadian, karakter, dan kedisiplinan rohani mereka. Guru sekolah minggu memainkan peran penting dalam membentukan generasi yang bertanggung jawab dan bermoral. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru yang mengajar anak-anak sekolah minggu untuk memahami peran mereka yang sangat penting dalam mendidik anak-anak sekolah minggu. Dalam melakukan pekerjaan dengan baik, guru sekolah minggu harus memiliki kemampuan yang handal dalam mengajar serta mendidik anak-anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif serta study pustaka melalui sifat dan perilaku guru sekolah minggu yang baik merupakan cerminan bagi anak-anak, lahir baru, dewasa secara rohani, dan berbakat dalam mengajar. Guru sekolah minggu memiliki peran besar dalam mendidik perilaku anak dan tidak hanya sekedar berbicara tentang Firman Tuhan. Mereka membangun kepribadian anak melalui nilai-nilai moral dan prinsip-prinsip etika, membangun kedisiplinan rohani anak (tentang pentingnya doa, ibadah, dan menghormati Tuhan), dan menanamkan pemahaman yang benar tentang Tuhan kepada anak-anak. Melalui tugas mereka yang peduli, teladan, guru Sekolah Minggu membantu membangun fondasi spiritual anak-anak dan memberikan bantuan yang diperlukan untuk perkembangan mereka secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Education is an effort consciously undertaken to prepare the student through guidance, teaching, and/or training activities for his/her role in the future. The education a child acquires not only in school, but also in the family.The family is the first reservoir or place of education for a child. The purpose of the research is as a reference to enrich the study of literature on the influence of family education on the future of the child. Thus the family in this case parents understand and understand their duty in the upbringing of children. The type of research that is used in this study is library research, which is the kind of research which limits its activity to library materials that do not do field research. It is the duty of parents to educate, guide and educate in the life of this world and the Hereafter. And it's from parents that children first know the world. Through them the child develops the whole aspect of his personality. In this case, parents not only give birth to children, but also give education and knowledge and affection to children. Family education plays an important role in the future of the child.

Abstract

Diversity is not something to justify a division. It is in diversity that the positive values developed in social life arise. According to researchers' observations in the field of a church, unity among the congregation members is not well embedded. The church is dominated by a certain ethnicity. This condition creates problems in the spiritual life of adolescents, faced with the hours of worship, the church atmosphere that creates satiety, between them, so that it boosts the passive attitude among them to invite others to worshipping in the church. The study uses the Qualitative Research Method and the researchers titled the study, The Concept of the Unity of the Body of Christ Based on Ephesians 4:1-6 has a positive influence on the increase in the number of teenagers who come to worship. The concept of the unity of the body of Christ is an appropriate and effective way of guiding and building young people in a better direction so that young people can grow to the maturity of faith through the involvement of young children in the communion of worship in the church based on Ephesians 4:2. First, teenagers already have the basic knowledge of humility, gentleness and patience and learn to apply it in their lives. Secondly, adolescents understand what is understood as a form of unity: one body, one Spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and one Father. Thirdly, the presence of teenagers in worship indicates an increase in quantity and begins to be involved in the restriction of spiritual service. Being humble one to another, not selfish, but one with one another, as members of the body of Christ.

Abstract

The government's efforts to implement public health programmes are very limited, given the country's limited financial conditions. The state budget is so much absorbed to win back public health. Not all public health costs are covered by BPJS/JKN and KIS, so not a few communities need help in this health.The Church has a role in the fulfilment of the great faith of Jesus Christ through the ministry that can be performed by the church as a manifestation of God's love that does not look at race, tribe, language and religion, but rather does as Jesus did for the glory of His name and the presence of the church can be a blessing to the priests around the church. The cooperation between the church and the shepherds and herdsmen under the patronage of the BKSG of Bogor district, which has a community care program in terms of health and has collaborated with the partners of the hospitals in Bogor District, is an attempt to preach the great faith of Jesus Christ in helping the people to carry out free health services so that the church can help the people and the government to create a healthy, tolerant society so that a congregation of religious people is created as proof that the Indonesian nation is a nation that has differences but remains united under the umbrella of Pancasila and UUD 1945.

Abstract

Education is a systematic effort to develop the abilities, attitudes, and behavior of individuals in the context of their society. Teachers, as the main implementers of formal education, play a key role in the education process. Therefore, teachers must continue to develop their abilities and skills so that they do not fall behind the times. In the context of Christian teaching, teacher professional development is based on philosophical and sociological foundations rooted in the values of faith, ethics, and social justice. This article investigates the foundations of Christian teacher professional development by outlining the philosophical and sociological foundations underpinning the practice of teaching in the context of Christian faith. The philosophical approach includes Christology, Christian epistemology, and Christian axiology, while the sociological approach emphasizes respect for diversity, education for social justice, collaboration, and participation. Through the application of these principles, Christian teachers can play a significant role in shaping students' character, values, and knowledge in accordance with the teachings of the Christian faith and the demands of the times.

Abstract

Indonesia, a country rich in social, ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity, has upheld solidarity in diversity since independence in 1945. The motto "Bhineka Tunggal Ika" serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting cultural, religious, ethnic and racial diversity. Multicultural education, according to Agustian, is an approach that highlights social pluralism and differences in various aspects. It should be taught from an early age in order to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Multicultural education also aims to uphold fundamental rights, norms of justice and intercultural understanding, which in turn strengthens social cohesion and national identity. The research method used in this article is a descriptive qualitative literature review. This article examines the strengthening of national identity through multicultural education using a sociological approach and applying principles from Galatians 5:22-23 such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. The results show that multicultural education promotes values such as equality, inclusion and justice, which are important for building a peaceful and inclusive society. The implementation of Galatians 5:22-23 values in multicultural education can be done through curriculum development, teacher training and activities that encourage interaction between students from different cultural backgrounds. In conclusion, multicultural education plays an important role in strengthening national identity by instilling values of togetherness and respect for differences, as well as strengthening social cohesion and national identity.
