Abstract

As a result of the Covid19 virus impact that has not subsided, the learning process will continue to be carried out from each home (study from home). The problems raised in this study are how the pattern of cooperation between teachers and parents in maintaining the quality of education during a pandemic and how is the form of cooperation between teachers and parents in maintaining the quality of education during the pandemic. Starting from the formulation of the problem, the purpose of this research is to determine the pattern of cooperation between teachers and parents in maintaining the quality of education during the pandemic and to know the form of cooperation between teachers and parents in maintaining the quality of education during the pandemic. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects was SDN 1 Janapria. Technique of data collection of this research were used interview, observation and documentation. To test the credibility of the data in this research the researcher used triangulation techniques. The sources of information were classroom teachers, head master, student's parents, and students. The results showed that the pattern of cooperation between teachers and parents in maintaining the quality of education during the pandemic was by establishing communication with student's parents and facilitating online learning needs. As for the form of collaboration between teachers and parents in maintaining the quality of education during the pandemic, namely parents must maintain and ensure children to implement the clean and healthy life, accompanying children in the online learning process and doing school assignments, guiding and motivating children, establishing communication Intense with Children, Becoming a Role Model for Children, Making Variations and Innovating Activities at Home.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems of 21 st Islamic basic education problems in Kentungan State Elementary School and how the principal’s contribution in dealing with these problems in order to achieve effective and efficient learning goals and realize the goals of Indonesia’s national education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that there were several problems as follows: (1) lack of character education (2) lack of supporting facilities for the learning process.

Abstract

Massage is a manipulation of soft tissue structures that are applied to the human body to create a sense of calm, comfort, relaxation, and reduce pain. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not the effectiveness of giving massage with active recovery to the decrease in pulse rate in the Putra Ungga Electric volleyball athletes in 2020. This study used an unpaired t test, also commonly referred to as a different sample t test because the distribution of the data compared come from two different groups. The research sample was 20 people. The results of the analysis of the effectiveness of giving massage the average pulse rate of 150 are greater when compared to active recovery which has an average pulse value of 120, so that the results of giving massage with active recovery have the same slight difference in effectiveness. The result of the t calculation based on the above formula is the t count which is 2.163 which is compared to the t table at a significant level of 5% at the degrees of freedom (df = N-1) = (10-1 = 9) which is 1.833. From these results, it can be concluded that there is an effectiveness of giving massage with active recovery to decrease pulse rate in the Putra Ungga Electric volleyball athletes in 2020 and the null hypothesis that the author proposes (Ha) is accepted because t-count > t-table (2.163 > 1833).

Abstract

The type of research used follows the type of qualitative research. Qualitative research is known to be descriptive in nature which in its application uses qualitative data analysis which makes data explanations in the form of information that is easy to understand. The learning that is assumed to be used as the subject is at the Global Nusantara Education Institute in this study using an online learning model or what is often referred to as distance learning. Students conduct online learning and interact in learning with lecturers using several applications that are often used in general, such as Google Meet, Google Classroom, Zoom, and Whatsapp Group which are independently created by students. This study aims to determine the influence of online learning on student interest in learning during the COVID-19 period at the Global Nusantara Education Institute. Respondents taken in this study were students and lecturers at the Global Nusantara Institute of Education. The results obtained in the study showed that online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic affected student interest in learning, students felt bored during learning because they did not meet or meet face-to-face with friends and lecturers directly on campus.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) developing physics module based on scientific to improve student’s critical thinking competency, (2) knowing the appropriateness of physics learning module based on scientific. The research type that is used is the type of development research (Research and Development), and the model of module development that is used is 4-D (four D model) consisting of Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate that is stated by Thiagarajan. The learning module based on scientific is arranged for the learning participants actively construct the concept, the law or principle through 5 stages of 5 M which are mengamati (observing), menanya (interviewing), mencoba (trying), menalar (reasoning), and mengkomunikasikan (communicating). The module is judged based on the appropriateness of material, media, and language and limited trials and wide trials to the student and the stage of spread in the MGMP forum. The data collection uses the questionnaire of necessity analysis, the form of module validation, the questionnaire of trial response (limited and spacious), the questionnaire of disseminate response, and the test of critical thinking. The results of the research are as follow: (1) physics module based on scientific to improve the student’s critical thinking competency having a characteristic which is learning the learning stage on the module is adapted with scientific learning stage in each of the stage and loads the test question of critical thinking, (2) the module is categorized feasible with the counting result (material expert, media expert, linguist, teacher, and colleague) showing the average value which is 85 >cut off 84. Also, it is supported by the student’s positive response and the disseminate result that is conducted in MGMP forum that categorizes that the module is very good. Based on the research it can be concluded that the physics module based on scientific to improve the students’ critical thinking competency that is developed is feasible to use as the source of physics learning source.

Abstract

The learning process on ecosystem materials still tends to be monotonous, students are not actively involved during the learning process. This causes a lack of student understanding of the concepts presented in this material. Teachers must be able to design process-oriented learning activities, so that students can develop their scientific skills. In this case, the learning process based on the inquiry-based approach is suitable for training students to create an active attitude, think critically, be able to solve problems, so that good learning outcomes are achieved. This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students' process skills through the application of gas kinetic theory learning media based on the inquiry approach. The method used in this research is the One Shoot Case Study design. The subject of this research is class X MIA 1 MA Darul Aminin NW Aikmual. The data collection instrument is a test of the results of the learning process skills. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the average student's process skill absorption was in the good category of 74.95%. The level of process skills shows that 81.25% of students have good basic skills, while the integrated skills are 68.75%. It can be said that the application of learning media in the form of experimental devices based on the inquiry approach can improve the learning outcomes of students' process skills in ecosystem materials.

Abstract

Education has a central role in increasing development and it is one aspect to improve human resources. The problem that is still found in the world of education is the low ability of students to solve a problem, especially in biology subjects so that it requires an action that can overcome these problems, one of which is by changing the learning process for the better. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Application of Group Investigation (GI) Learning with Lesson Study Patterns on the Problem Solving Ability of Class X MA Sabilurrasyad NW Barabali Students in the academic year 2018/2019. This type of research is experimental research using Quasi Experimental Design. The populations in this study were students of class X semester II which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 37 students. The sample in this study was class X IPA as an experimental class and class X IPS as a control class using simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was a test in the form of an essay test, which consisted of 8 questions. Based on the results of data analysis, the average post-test score for the experimental class was 74.2 and the control class was 66.17. While the hypotheses test using statistical analysis with the t-test formula at the 5% confidence level is obtained t-count of 3.418. After being compared with t-table 1.690, then tcount 3,418> t-table 1,690, so the conclusion in this study is that there is an effect of the Implementation of Group Investigation (GI) Learning with Lesson Study Patterns with Lesson Study Patterns on the Ability to Solve Problems in Class X MA Sabilurrasyad NW Barabali in the academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, it is a tough challenge for all Indonesian teachers. The quality of education is a measure of Indonesia's success in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. A teacher at this time is required to be technologically literate because the quality of a teacher who is empty of technology will not be able to instill a "critical character" in students to become revolutionary humans. This study discusses the development of mastery of information and communication technology literacy at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Information and Communication Technology literacy includes the ability to use technology as a tool to research, organize, evaluate and communicate information, and have a fundamental understanding of ethical legal issues surrounding the access and use of information. There are seven elements of Information and Communication Technology literacy, namely: define, access, evaluate, manage, integrate, create, and communicate. Developing a learning framework in the 21st century that requires students to have skills, knowledge and abilities in the fields of technology, media and information, learning and innovation skills as well as life and career skills. The types of sources and learning media based on Information and Communication Technology that can be utilized by elementary school teachers in the learning process include: (1). Computer (2). LCD (3). Internet (4). Learning CD, (5) email (6). Power Point Presentation (7) Multimedia. In the learning process, using media is very important to increase interest and understanding of materials such as Augmented Reality-based learning media. Become a technology literate teacher and really need support from the government. Information and Communication Technology literacy can be done by participating in socialization, training, upgrading, seminars and workshops on Information and Communication Technology

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning motivation and science learning achievement between students who follow the ARIAS learning model with Problem Based Learning and conventional learning. A total of 58 fourth grade students at SDN Liwung were selected as samples . The study used experiment research design with the non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The data of motivation learning collected by questioner and learning achievement collected by objective test. Validity test of questioner and test analyzed by used Product Moment and Point Biserial. The reliability test of questioner and the test used by Alpha Cronbach and KR-20. The hypothesis test used ANAVA and MANOVA. The result showed us that : first, there was a significant difference between the students that treated with ARIAS learning model with Setting Group Investigation than those who treated with conventional learning model (F=10,373 and Sig.=0,020; p<0,05).

Abstract

The use of the Think Pair Shar (TPS) Cooperative Model in Improving Mathematics Learning Outcomes on the volume of cubes and blocks for Class V Semester 2 students at SDN 1 Rarang Selatan in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study aims to: (1). Knowing student learning outcomes through the application of the TPS Model in Mathematics learning (2) knowing student activities through the application of the TPS Model in Mathematics learning. This research was conducted in the form of Classroom Action Research. The stages carried out are: Action Planning, Action Implementation, Evaluation/Observation and Reflection. The subjects of this study were 12 students of class V semester 2 of the 2021/2022 academic year. The research data are: (1). Student learning outcomes were collected through learning outcomes tests. (2). Student activities were collected through observation guidelines. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. From the results of data analysis found that: (1). The mean of student learning outcomes is 73.60. Classical completeness is 91.67% (2). Student activity in participating in learning increased at each meeting. Based on the results of the data above, the application of the Think Pair Shar (TPS) Type Model can be used as a strategy in the learning process.
