<![CDATA[Mataram City has a motto that is Mataram City Forward, Religious and Cultured. (Explanation of the meaning of the motto/vision and mission one by one, indicators of the motto one by one). This motto becomes the spirit, soul, and spirit of the Mataram City Government and the people of Mataram City in carrying out activities and life in Mataram City. The results of this study Semiotics of communication contained in the motto of the city of Mataram is advanced, religious and cultured is not just a slogan but has the meaning of hopes and ideals that are always endeavored by the Mataram city government as the highest policy holder in the city of Mataram. To build the city of Mataram which is advanced in all aspects. This study uses a qualitative methodology. Bogdan and Taylor in Moleong (2007: 4) define qualitative research methodology as a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. Meanwhile, Kirk and Miller in Moleong (2007) define qualitative research as a particular tradition in social science that is fundamentally dependent on human observations both in its area and in its terminology. This study aims to find out what the semiotics of communication are contained in the Motto "Maju Mataram City is Advanced, Religious and Cultured". The difference between the previous research and what the researcher is going to do is that the previous research examined "semiotic analysis of communication in other sentences, while this study examines the meaning of semiotics in the motto of Mataram city, namely "Maju Kota Maju, Religious, and Cultured".]]>

<![CDATA[Languages in this world have rules that accepted by all speakers in the form of spoken, written, and gestures that are solely used to communicate as social beings. Each language also has levels to choose diction or vocabulary in communicating. The level in question can be based on the social status of the community, economy, education and gender (gender). Moreover, gender was very decisive for the above. Verbal expressions related to gender was the object of research and the object of this research was one of the topics discussed in sociolinguistic studies. This study focuses on verbal expressions in the Sasak language and was used by the Sasak tribe with a dialect of meno-meni in the village of Tengari Repok, Praya, Central Lombok district. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to describe the verbal expressions in the Sasak language that differentiate or characterize and attach to a man or woman. The research instrument used in this study was interview and note-taking. The results showed that there were differences in verbal expression between men and women. Verbal expressions in this study was classified into several groups, namely: naming (genealogy), characteristics (differentiating / distinctive features), and philosophical.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was aimed to describe the implementation of picture word cards media by teachers at RA Al-Aufiya NW to children of B group. The method of this research was used descriptive research in the form of survey method. This research used data collected technique through non test at RA Al-Aufiya NW using interview, questionnaire, and observation method. The result of this research was analyzed with the steps of Editing, Coding, and Scoring, that describe a picture word cards media in learning activities. The result of this research showed that a picture word cards media is one of the media used by teachers to improve the aspect of children’s language especially the basic skill of reading at Children of B group. However, the used of this media is very rare, because the teachers use media writing and journal more often. A picture word cards can improve the students’ enthusiasm for learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aimed at finding out the improving of writing skill (WS) and self-development (SD) students of MA by applying the Grammar Translation Method (GTM). This research is qualitative research. The research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) NW Mengkuru, East Lombok, NTB. The data of this research collected through test and non-test. Based on the results of test and data analysis it can be concluded that the ability of students in improving writing skills using grammar translation method is very effective and needs to be applied and developed. The application of grammar translation method can improve students’ writing skills and self-development.]]>

<![CDATA[This quantitative study aimed at finding out the effectiveness of self and peer-correction techniques in teaching writing at the twelfth graders of MAS Muallimin NW Boro Tumbuh in the academic year 2022/2023. The samples of this study were taken through random sampling technique consisting of 25 students. The data were collected from pre-test and post-test. The gained data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test. This test was administrated to know answer the hypothesis. The result of the study indicated that self and peer-correction technique was significantly effective in teaching writing for the twelfth graders of MAS Muallimin NW Boro Tumbuh in the academic year 2022/2023. This can be seen from the result of the students’ mean score in the pre-test and post-test. In the pre-test, the mean score was 8.07 with the standard deviation 1.809. In the post-test, whereas, the mean score was 9.77 and the standard deviation was 2.221. The result proved that the pre-test was lower than the post-test. In addition, the hypothesis testing showed that the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In a nutshell, the self and peer—correction technique is an advisable technique to apply by the English teacher in their writing class.]]>

<![CDATA[Silver Man is a social phenomenon which is currently being used as a job by some individuals who do not have a job. The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) The rationality of the actions of silver people in Pekanbaru City. 2) The joys and sorrows experienced by the silver man. This study applies a qualitative research method. The theory used is Talcott Parsons Action theory. The number of informants in this study were 4 people. The informant is a silver man. The results of this study are the rationality of the actions shown by the silver man on the main road, the purpose of which is to earn money and fulfill basic needs. Next are the joys and sorrows experienced by silver humans when they act on the streets. The likes that are generally felt are benefactors who give large amounts of money. The sorrows experienced by silver people varied, ranging from being kicked out during an action to never getting any income at all within one day of acting as a silver person.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to: 1. To apply inquiry based learning learning methods to Indonesian language subjects in elementary schools, especially in the current 21st century technology era, 2. To improve student achievement in the 21st century technology era, 3. Train students so that they are ready and able to adapt themselves in learning along with the times. This research is qualitative in nature by using the literature study method, namely data collection techniques by reviewing various sources of books, notes, literature, and various kinds of reports related to the theme. The results obtained in this study are that the inquiry learning learning model can be implemented by good in learning Indonesian in elementary school. The inquiry learning model is very effective and efficient to be applied in Indonesian language learning, where this inquiry learning model uses a student centered approach so that students are trained to think critically, creatively, and innovatively and the teacher is only a facilitator for their students, so it can be concluded that the method Inquiry based learning is very effective and efficient to apply in Indonesian language learning and can also be applied to other subjects, especially in the current 21st century technology era.]]>

<![CDATA[The purposes of this study are to analyze and understand legal remedies that can be taken by WPDN in obtaining legal certainty regarding their obligation to make withholding tax on their income to WPLN as well as to analyze and understand legal certainty for WPDN in carrying out the obligation to withhold tax on income to WPLN based on regulations. applicable taxation. The method used in this author is normative juridical research supported by a statute approach, a conceptual approach, and a case approach based on primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The technique of collecting legal materials is obtained through studies or studies of laws and literature research as well as Court decisions and Supreme Court decisions which researchers analyze in a systematic way. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Double Tax Avoidance Agreement (P3B) is caused by administrative problems that create legal uncertainty that is not in accordance with the purpose of the law (tax treaty). PT. Westcon Internasional Indonesia has fulfilled the tax administration requirements, namely the principle of source, nationality, and domicile principles in accordance with the basic tax law.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss how the position of the Notice of Disclosure of Assets and the legal certainty of the certificate of disclosure of net assets which is the cause of the dispute between the Taxpayer and the Director General of Taxes, by using the theory of awareness of the taxpayer and the theory of legal certainty. The method used by this writer is normative juridical research which is supported by a statute approach, a conceptual approach, a case approach based on primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The technique of collecting legal material is obtained through studies or reviewing legislation and library research as well as decisions of the Tax Court and Decisions of the Supreme Court which the researchers then analyze by means of systematic interpretation. The results of this study indicate that the examination of extensification and intensification will eventually lead to a tax assessment letter, namely a letter stating that there is a shortage of the amount of tax debt that must be paid and even an investigation can also occur on the taxpayer. Guided by Article 12 paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) of the KUP Law stipulates that the amount of tax payable according to the notification letter submitted by the taxpayer is the amount of tax payable in accordance with the provisions of the tax laws and regulations and the Director General of Taxes determines the amount of tax to be paid. payable if the Director General of Taxes obtains evidence that the amount of tax payable according to the Tax Return is incorrect.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe what impacts occur when implementing the Inlislite application system based on a management information system in the library of SMKN 1 Praya Tengah. This study uses a qualitative research design and is analyzed by making rich and thick descriptions. Research at the data collection stage uses a grounded theory approach. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that Inlislite has a positive impact, because it can improve library services at SMKN 1 Praya Tengah because librarians process data on borrowing and returning books faster. In addition, there were technical problems in implementing inlislite at SMKN 1 Praya Tengah which resulted in the existing system running slowly. The recommendations for this research are: 1) To separate schools from Inlislite, and add library facilities in the form of the latest generation of computers; 2) Provide regular Inlislite training and guidance to Librarians, so that Librarians are more adept at operating Inlislite.]]>
