Abstract

The problems studied are, (1) increasing learning outcomes on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia, (2) the effectiveness of using plant and plant puppet media to improve learning outcomes. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles. The subject of this study was the VII D inclusion class of SMP Negeri 2 Bontang with a total of 36 students, consisting of 33 regular students and 3 students with special needs with slow learning disabilities. Researchers obtained data from test and non-test techniques. The test technique is in the form of a written test while the non-test technique is obtained from teacher observations on the learning process activities using plant and animal puppet media. Data analysis was performed with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that plant and animal puppet media can improve learning outcomes on the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia, this media can also bridge the cognitive gap between students with special needs and regular students, so that it can be used in inclusive classes. Judging from the increase in student learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II. The results of the first cycle test at meeting 1 averaged 64.5 in class, increasing at meeting 2 to 74.3. The class average in cycle II meeting 1 was 81.8, which had reached KKM 75, but because this was an inclusion class that accommodated students with special needs, for the second meeting a program was prepared to strengthen the concept of the distribution of flora and fauna in Indonesia. The results of cycle II meeting 2 all students have scored above the KKM with an average of 89.0.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the extent to which the company's core values “Customer Focus”, “Integrity”, “Respect for Others”, “Strive for Excellence”, and “Teamwork” are reflected in the daily actions and decisions of workers branches through discipline and work environment. This study uses a quantitative approach. Saturation sampling, in which the entire population is used as the sample, is used for this purpose. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to test responses to a questionnaire based on a Likert scale with five levels. This study found that the basic values of PT Toyota AUTO 2000 have a major influence in the form of discipline and work environment

Abstract

Rapid global changes and in an effort to create independence in the fulfillment of the domestic Defense and Security Forces make the defense industry must be able to maintain and increase competitive advantage. In the perspective of effective and efficient management, a company with good performance can describe the company as having a competitive advantage and competitiveness. However, based on data on the fulfillment of the main weaponry system, each stage is still below the target that was determined late. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to find out how liquidity conditions and the competitiveness of the domestic defense industry contribute to the fulfillment of the Minimum Essential Force (MEF). Liquidity is the company's ability to pay its obligations. Financial liquidity analysis is used in this study using the financial statements of PT. Pindad (Persero), PT. Dahana (Persero), and PT. Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero  complete published core during the 2015-2019 period. The effect of good liquidity can be an indicator of companies in making decisions, meeting the needs of domestic military goods and even being able to export abroad so as to create competitiveness between countries and can create national resilience.

Abstract

Digital printing business is a business that is very interested in this era. Digital printing with a minimum size of A3+ has become a trend nowadays. There are many advantages that can be obtained from this A3 + digital printing machine. Printing needs that are chased by time are very suitable for using this machine. In this study the authors designed a thermometer for temperature on a digital printing machine using the MLX90614 sensor with the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller, 16x2 LCD as display output, and a buzzer for warnings, in order to minimize striped printouts due to ink freezing due to overheating and other damage. The results of testing the design of this system are generated for the results of testing the temperature sensor readings obtained 100% accurate. This shows that the sensor is functioning properly from the results obtained with an accuracy rate of 100%. The results for reading the MLX90614 sensor with infrared thermometer readings are obtained by calculating the percentage error of 0.9%, which means the sensor is running well. The results of the test data show that the average delay of the overall data is 0.10 s.

Abstract

The large number of fraud cases that have occurred has created new challenges for the external auditor in detecting such fraud. Doing previous research is very important in reviewing an article or scientific journal. The previous research is a reference for an article on solving problems that occur. This article reviews the variables that can affect fraud in the financial statements committed by the auditor. The purpose of this article is to determine the effect of experience, audit risk, and audit expertise on fraud detection by auditors. The method used is literature review or literature review. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The type of data synthesis used is the narrative method by grouping similar data according to the results measured to answer the objective. The results of the research show that experience, audit risk, and audit expertise simultaneously or jointly have a significant effect on fraud detection by auditors. Partially, each independent variable provides a different conclusion. Partially, audit experience and audit expertise have a significant effect on the detection of fraud (fraud) by the auditor, while audit risk partially has no effect on the detection of fraud (fraud) by the auditor.

Abstract

The workplace is the second home after our original residence where we must have comfort at work. In this era of globalization, there are lots of generation Z who are uncomfortable at work because the environment is one of the main factors where generation Z is uncomfortable at work. This study attempted to examine using descriptive qualitative techniques and data collection using interview techniques. Data analysis is carried out interactively and continues continuously until complete, so that the data is saturated. Activities in data analysis are: Data Reduction (Data Editor). Data Dispay (Data Presentation), Conclusion Drawing/ Verification. This research was conducted at PT. Gunung Salak Sukabumi located in Babakan Pari, Kec. Cidahu, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Based on the results of the study it was explained that only 50% of Generation Z are comfortable at work. Some or another 50% feel uncomfortable at work. The conclusion obtained in this study is that a sense of comfort at work will bring good factors into the sensory nerves and also the psychology of its employees and raise the spirit of performance in a company. For this reason, this convenience is very important, especially in the era of globalization where humans are increasingly doing bad things and there is envy and mutual envy and bringing each other down.

Abstract

This study aims to review the use of learning media to improve science learning outcomes in elementary schools. While the method used in this study is the method of meta-analysis. This research begins by looking for relevant topics to make it easier for writers to collect data. The necessary data can be obtained by searching online journals through Google Academia with the keywords Learning Media, Improving Learning Outcomes, Natural Sciences, Elementary Schools. From the results of the search conducted, it was obtained more than ten articles but only 6 articles were relevant to use. Various kinds of relevant data that have been obtained are reprocessed using quantitative methods. Based on the results of the study of the use of media in learning, it is proven that it can improve student learning outcomes at a minimum of 43% and a maximum of 91%. The use of instructional media greatly influences student learning outcomes in science learning content in elementary schools. In addition to influencing learning outcomes, students also have different new experiences in each learning process using media. This activity can also improve students' ability to understand subject matter easily through the use of media during the learning process.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles and through several stages in each cycle, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The purpose of this research is to improve students’ learning achievement through the application of the Krathwohl learning model in Class IX at SMP Nasional Makassar. The data collection was carried out using observation sheets and end-of-cycle tests. The collected data will be analyzed and equipped with a frequency table. The results of this study showed that there was an improvement in students’ learning activity in the first cycle with 41.91%, and an increase in the second cycle, which was 77.77%. As well as an increase in the completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I with a total of 15 students with a percentage of 45.45% and an increase in cycle II with a total of 27 students with a percentage of 80% with a total of 33 students. Thus, it can be indicated that the application of the Krathwohl learning model in class IX at SMP Nasional Makassar. can improve learning achievement.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di abad 21 diarahkan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berfikir kritis, kreatif, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Penilaian keterampilan berfikir kritis dan kreatif melalui penggunaan soal penilaian berfikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS). Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan soal HOTS dan LOTS pada soal penilaian akhir semester 1 di kota Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan soal HOTS pada tiap kelas di tiap muatan pelajaran mencapai 13%, sedangkan soal LOTS mencapai 87%.

Abstract

This research is aimed at improving the students’ reading comprehension at grade seven of SMP Negri 4 Praya in the academic year of 2022/2023. The teaching reading skill of seven grade students of SMP Negri 4 Praya was through language games. To achieve the objective, collaborative work involving the researcher, the English teacher, the principal, and the students of grade seven was conducted. This study was action research study consisting of two cycles. The steps of the research were: planning, action observation, and reflection. The data were obtained by observing the teaching and learning process during the implementation of the actions, interviewing the English teacher and the students of seven grade students, and holding discussions with the English teacher. The instruments for gathering the data were a recorder, a camera, and interview guidelines. The data analyses were in the forms of field notes, recordings, interview transcripts, and photographs. The result showed that in Cycle 1 the implementation of language games was successful in improving the students’ reading comprehension and their interest in reading during the teaching and learning process. However, the language games which was implemented through group work was not successful because there were some students who were not actively engaged in the group work. Therefore, the researcher improved that action by applying pair work and giving reward. Meanwhile, it was shown in Cycle II that the implementations of language games were successful in improving the students’ reading comprehension and interest in reading during the teaching learning process. From the two cycles, the implementations of language games were effective to improve students’ reading comprehension.
