The Role of the Nunukan Regency Government and the Dayak Agabag Traditional Institution in resolving the tenurial conflict between the Tujung Village community and PT. Adindo Hutani Lestari in North Kalimantan. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews to obtain contextual and in-depth understanding. The results of the study indicate that the Traditional Institution acts as a negotiator, communication link, and facilitator based on cultural values in articulating the community's collective aspirations, while the Regional Government acts as a facilitator, mediator, and conflict resolution actor through legislative policies and mediation mechanisms that produce mutual agreements. The synergy between the Regional Government and the Traditional Institution shows that conflict resolution is not only related to legal aspects, but also includes social, cultural, and community food security dimensions. This study has managerial implications for strengthening the role of traditional institutions and the government in land conflict governance and opens up opportunities for developing new conceptual models in the study of local wisdom-based conflict management.

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and trust on taxpayer loyalty with commitment as an intervening variable in taxpayers registered in Lubuk Pakam District. The background of this study departs from the phenomenon of low taxpayer loyalty indicated by formal compliance without being followed by sustainability in tax payments. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on 97 respondents determined by the Slovin formula from a population of 3,875 taxpayers. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) through validity, reliability, R-square, and path analysis tests. The results show that brand image has a positive but insignificant effect on loyalty, while brand image has a positive and significant effect on commitment. Trust is proven to have a positive and significant effect on both loyalty and commitment. In addition, commitment has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer loyalty. The indirect effect test shows that commitment mediates the influence of brand image and trust on taxpayer loyalty. The R-square value of 0.639 for commitment and 0.809 for loyalty indicates that this research model has strong explanatory power. This study concludes that increasing taxpayer loyalty in Lubuk Pakam District is more effective through strengthening commitment, built on positive perceptions of brand image and trust in tax institutions. The results are expected to provide input for tax authorities in formulating public service and communication strategies oriented towards sustainably increasing taxpayer loyalty.

In Indonesia, the café business has evolved into a sophisticated social and leisure arena where factors like location and cost have an impact on patronage, but so do factors like product quality, customer service, and overall experience. This study uses a causal-associative approach based on servicescape theory to investigate how location and price affect patron loyalty at Dopamine Café J City Medan. Data were gathered from 99 customer respondents via a 1–5 Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression (path analysis). The findings demonstrate that pricing does not significantly influence customer loyalty (β = –0.055; p = 0.310), however location exerts a significant negative impact (β = –0.112; p = 0.020), indicating that even with a strategic position, intense competition in the area promotes customer switching behavior. Concurrent analysis indicates that price and location collectively exert a significant influence on loyalty (F = 3.164; p = 0.040), accounting for merely 6.2% of the variance in customer loyalty (R² = 0.062), while the remaining 93.8% is attributable to other determinants including product quality, service, ambiance, and customer experience. These findings underscore that strategies to enhance customer loyalty in the café industry cannot rely solely on price and location, but must integrate customer experience, service quality, and value differentiation as key factors in building long-term loyalty.

Sweet corn is an important food commodity after rice. The production of sweet corn in Indonesia is 8.31 tons per hectare, while its potential is 18–25 tons per hectare. Low sweet corn production is caused by excessive use of inorganic fertilizers and downy mildew disease attacks, which can reduce harvest yields by 50–100%. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) made from organic waste with the bioactivator Trichoderma using a Tiered Bucket System to improve the growth and production of sweet corn, as well as its resistance to downy mildew disease. The study was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Universitas Satu Nusa Lampung. The experiment used a two-factor completely randomized block design (CRBD). The first factor was LOF produced through anaerobic (A1) and aerobic (A2) fermentation using the Tiered Bucket System. The second factor was LOF fermentation treatments without bioactivator (T0); with Trichoderma bioactivator at 15 mL/L (T1), 20 mL/L (T2), 25 mL/L (T3), 30 mL/L (T4); and EM4 bioactivator at 30 mL/L (Em) as a comparison. Trichoderma at 30 mL/L (T4) consistently gave the best results in improving growth, production yield, chlorophyll content, and resistance to downy mildew disease in sweet corn plants. Treatment T4 produced the highest chlorophyll content and the lowest disease intensity, indicating healthier plants with better tolerance to biotic stress. Aerobic fermentation was more effective than anaerobic in improving LOF quality and bioactivator effectiveness. Although EM4 also showed benefits, it was less effective than Trichoderma, especially in suppressing downy mildew disease. The use of LOF with Trichoderma bioactivator and aerobic fermentation is highly recommended to sustainably improve sweet corn productivity and disease resistance.

This study is motivated by the low productivity of coastal communities in processing marine waste into economically valuable handicrafts. One of the main obstacles is the lack of proper production tools, which results in inefficient and time-consuming work processes. The purpose of this research is to analyse the effect of production machine effectiveness on increasing the productivity of coastal communities in Batam City. The study adopts a quantitative approach with a descriptive-associative design. Data were collected from 30 respondents using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analysed through validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, and classical assumption tests. The results show that the variables of effectiveness, ease of use, and work safety have a significant simultaneous effect on productivity. The regression model formed is: Y = 32.911 – 0.520X₁ + 0.291X₂ – 0.417X₃, with an adjusted R square value of 0.655. This indicates that 65.5% of the variation in community productivity can be explained by the three variables. This research confirms that the use of production machines can serve as a strategic solution to improve work efficiency and productivity among coastal communities. These findings are expected to serve as a foundation for developing future community empowerment programs based on appropriate technology.

Nurses' job satisfaction is a vital component that influences the quality of hospital services and the sustainability of healthcare delivery. Leadership style, particularly that of head nurses and nurse managers, plays a significant role in shaping nurses' job satisfaction. This study aims to examine the relationship between leadership style and nurses' job satisfaction through a literature review. The method employed was a systematic review of ten national and international articles published between 2015 and 2025 that are relevant to the topic. The findings reveal that transformational, democratic, and participative leadership styles are positively associated with nurses' job satisfaction, as they enhance motivation, loyalty, and create a supportive work climate. In contrast, authoritarian and laissez-faire leadership styles tend to decrease job satisfaction due to limited recognition of nurses' contributions and lack of participatory opportunities. In conclusion, the implementation of effective leadership styles, especially transformational leadership, is essential to improve nurses' job satisfaction and ultimately enhance the overall quality of hospital services.
