This study investigates the long-run and short-run effects of macroeconomic variables—inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, foreign direct investment (FDI), and government expenditure—on economic growth using annual panel data from nine developing G20 economies over the period 2000–2023. The Panel ARDL model with the Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator is applied to capture cross-country heterogeneity while ensuring consistent long-run estimates. Long-run results indicate that inflation (β=0.147; p<0.01), FDI (β=0.191; p<0.01), and government expenditure (β=0.390; p<0.01) positively and significantly affect GDP growth, whereas interest rates exert a negative impact (β=-0.249; p<0.01). Exchange rates show no significant long-run effect. In the short run, FDI (β=0.046; p<0.05) and exchange rate (β=0.876; p<0.01) significantly stimulate growth, while inflation shows marginal significance (β=0.044; p<0.10). The error correction term (β=-0.846; p<0.01) confirms rapid adjustment toward equilibrium. These findings highlight the importance of inflation stability, prudent monetary policy, FDI promotion, and efficient fiscal spending in sustaining economic growth across developing G20 countries.

Equitable and sustainable economic growth has become an important agenda in Indonesia’s development, especially through the strengthening of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). Labor is a main production factor that is suspected to play a mediating role in channeling the influence of various economic determinants on regional performance. This study aims to analyze the role of labor (LFPR) in mediating the influence of wages, domestic investment (PMDN), education, and health on GRDP in 34 provinces in Indonesia during the 2014–2023 period. The analysis was carried out using panel data with a path analysis approach and mediation testing using the Sobel Test. The results of the study show that directly wages, education, health, and investment have a significant effect on GRDP, while the influence of these variables on LFPR shows variations in significance. Indirectly, only wages and education are proven to have a significant effect on GRDP through LFPR as a mediating variable, while investment and health do not show significant mediation effects. These findings emphasize that improving the quality and involvement of labor is an important channel in transmitting the economic impact of wage and education improvements, while the influence of investment and health works more dominantly through direct mechanisms on economic output. This study contributes to strengthening the literature on human-capital-based development and provides more directed policy guidance in encouraging inclusive and sustainable regional economic growth.

The Muslim fashion industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly along with the increasing need for women to look fashionable but still in accordance with Islamic law. The city of Pontianak shows similar dynamics with the growth of local hijab businesses that are increasingly competitive, including Warung.zee50 as one of the business actors that has experienced significant development since its establishment in 2019. Warung.zee50's sales show an increasing trend from year to year, supported by innovative strategies in providing varied hijab products, affordable prices, and the utilization of digital marketing channels. Preliminary findings through observations and interviews show that product quality, material comfort, trend-following design, and pricing that suits consumer purchasing power play an important role in shaping customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of products and prices on consumer satisfaction of Warung.zee50. The research uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The research population is all consumers who have bought Warung.zee50 hijab products, with a total sample of 100 respondents determined through purposive sampling. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data came from sales documentation and social media searches. The instrument was tested using the Pearson validity test and Cronbach Alpha reliability. Data analysis included classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing using the F test and the t test. The results of the research are expected to be able to explain the extent to which product quality and price strategy contribute to consumer satisfaction, as well as provide an empirical picture for the development of Warung.zee50's business strategy in maintaining its competitive position in the hijab fashion industry in Pontianak City.

This study examines how conflict management strategies are implemented in the multicultural area of Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This district is known as an economic and tourism hub that brings together people from diverse backgrounds every day, ranging from Malay, Chinese, and Indian communities to expatriates from around the world (Abdullah, 2019). Such diversity is a strength that makes Bukit Bintang vibrant, yet it can also give rise to tensions—socially, economically, and culturally. The history of Kuala Lumpur’s urbanization shows that multiethnic interactions have not always been smooth, particularly when related to resource distribution or the use of public spaces. To understand these conditions, the study employs a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The findings show that Bukit Bintang’s primary strength lies in its diversity, but weaknesses emerge due to limited regulations and the absence of dialogue spaces that can bring all parties together. On the other hand, increasing awareness of the importance of multiculturalism and supportive government policies create major opportunities for fostering harmony. However, threats such as social segregation and economic inequality continue to loom. The proposed strategies include strengthening cross-cultural forums, promoting cultural literacy education, and creating inclusive policies based on community participation. With these measures, Bukit Bintang has the potential to become a real example of how a multicultural city can grow peacefully and adaptively in the era of globalization.

The 15–24 age group is a key driver of Indonesia’s demographic bonus, yet the youth labor market continues to fluctuate due to limited skill readiness, economic conditions, and the absence of a strong labor force prediction system. These issues are compounded by sparse annual data from 2015–2024, which contains missing values and requires appropriate modeling to ensure accurate forecasting. This study aims to develop a prediction model for the number of young workers using three approaches—BSTS, LSTM, and SARIMA—while comparing their accuracy based on MAPE and RMSE. The study also tests whether performance differences among the models are statistically significant and identifies the most optimal model to support youth employment policy planning in Indonesia. The research uses time series data from BPS covering 2015–2024. Preprocessing includes imputing missing values through linear interpolation, normalizing the data, and dividing it into training and testing sets. Each model—BSTS, LSTM, and SARIMA—is then applied and evaluated using MAPE, RMSE, and statistical tests such as the Wilcoxon or paired t-test to assess the significance of performance differences. Results show that LSTM and SARIMA yield the highest accuracy, each achieving a MAPE of 3.44%, while BSTS performs less effectively on limited annual data. Statistical tests confirm that BSTS differs significantly from LSTM and SARIMA, whereas LSTM and SARIMA do not significantly differ from each other. The accuracy decline in 2020–2021 underscores the sensitivity of the youth labor market to external shocks like the pandemic. Overall, SARIMA and LSTM emerge as the most suitable models for forecasting youth labor numbers in Indonesia. These findings can guide the development of adaptive, data-driven employment policies to maximize the demographic bonus potential.

In Islamic banking in Indonesia, murabahah (contract of trading) is one of the most popular contracts to use in the financing products. In order to regulate this contract, Indonesia’s Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) issued the Guidance on Murabahah Financing which comprehensively stipulate the rules in distributing the financing under the contract of murabahah. One of the stipulations in the Guidance governs the mandatory discount for the early-settled financing, later referred to as the muqasah. This research highlighted the potential impact of implementing the regulation in the Bright Bank, a listed sharia Bank which distributes majority of its financing under the contract of murabahah. Both quantitative and qualitative studies were conducted to understand the financial magnitude of the implementation of muqasah in the Bright Bank, to formulate the potential financial scheme (i.e. early-settlement fee) that will prevent further loss on the bank’s profitability, and to understand the customers’ perception on early financing settlement and the prospectively implemented surcharge. The solution offered in this writing is a policy-based strategy that is based on the research result. This research will contribute to be one of the early references for the further development of the strategy to better implement muqasah in the distribution of murabahah financing.

Disclosure emission carbon become element important in accountability companies , especially in the sector contributing energy big to emission national research This analyze influence profitability , leverage, and solvency to disclosure emission carbon with consider size company as variables moderation and performance environment as variables Control . The results of the 2021–2024 data analysis show that profitability has a significant negative effect, while leverage and solvency have no effect. Company size weakens the effects of profitability and solvency, and strengthens the effect of leverage, although not as hypothesized. These findings suggest that carbon emission disclosure is driven more by external pressure and the need for legitimacy than by a company's financial characteristics.

The modern workforce is no longer solely motivated by financial compensation, as evidenced by high disengagement and turnover rates despite competitive pay. This article argues that a fundamental shift toward a human-centric organizational strategy is essential for sustainable success. The objective is to define the core pillars of this strategy and present a framework for implementation. The methodology involves a synthesis of contemporary workforce research, analysis of emerging organizational models, and a review of qualitative data on employee priorities. The results and discussion identify four foundational pillars: Purpose and Autonomy, Growth and Development, Holistic Well-being, and Connection and Recognition. The discussion contends that these elements form an integrated system that addresses the whole employee, thereby fostering resilience and performance. The conclusion posits that organizations investing in this human-centric model will achieve a superior return on investment through enhanced talent retention, innovation, and engagement, moving beyond transactional employment to build a sustainable competitive advantage.

This study examines how managerial environmental concern (MEC) enables sustainability governance in a private Indonesian university by tracing how environmental commitments become institutionalized. Using a 91-day qualitative case study, it triangulates semi-structured interviews with nine purposively selected participants, observations, and institutional documents, analyzed through thematic analysis supported by NVivo. Findings position MEC as a governance enabler that links leadership commitment to durable organizational arrangements through four connected mechanisms. First, MEC is embedded in strategic planning and performance management by integrating environmental indicators into institutional work plans and annual budgets. Second, it is structurally anchored through a dedicated coordinating team that mainstreams sustainability across planning, implementation, and evaluation, and formalizes operational guidance for energy efficiency, waste management, carbon footprint reporting, and green procurement. Third, MEC mobilizes scarce resources via incentive and control mechanisms, prioritizing funding for units showing strong green performance and requiring environmental criteria in infrastructure proposals. Fourth, MEC gains legitimacy through participatory forums involving academic and administrative staff and students in sustainability decisions. Together, these mechanisms stabilize sustainability initiatives beyond project-based efforts and offer a transferable pathway for private universities in developing contexts.
