Waste management in Indonesia has become increasingly complex due to population growth, lifestyle changes, and inadequate source-based management. In response, the Deli Serdang Regency government introduced a digital innovation, Jumpa Madu (Jemput Sampah Terima Duit), to enhance waste management efficiency through a technology-based system combined with economic incentives. This study aims to examine the implementation of the Jumpa Madu application in Lubuk Pakam District, focusing on community participation, implementation effectiveness, and the challenges encountered. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation involving key stakeholders, including the Environmental Agency, the BERSERI central waste bank, and community users. The findings indicate that community participation is relatively high, particularly among active users who recognize the economic benefits of waste sorting. The application effectively facilitates waste collection scheduling and increases the economic value of segregated waste. However, several challenges persist, including limited digital literacy, constrained technical resources, and uneven access to information. This study concludes that Jumpa Madu represents a promising innovation in strengthening circular economy-based waste management at the local level. Its optimal implementation requires stronger cross-sector collaboration, continuous public education, and improved regulatory and digital infrastructure support.

Employee loyalty is one of the key factors that determines a company’s long-term success. This study aims to analyze the effects of career development, job stability, work environment, and compensation on employee loyalty at PT Warlbor International Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal-associative design. Data were collected through closed-ended questionnaires completed by 135 company employees using a five-point Likert scale. The results of multiple linear regression indicate that all independent variables—career development, job stability, work environment, and compensation—have a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty. Career development contributed 0.35 units, job stability 0.25 units, work environment 0.30 units, and compensation 0.28 units to the improvement of employee loyalty. Overall, the findings suggest that companies that effectively manage these factors are better able to strengthen employee loyalty, which in turn can improve productivity and organizational performance. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the human resource management literature and offers practical recommendations for more strategic policy management in retaining high-quality employees.

Forklift fork arms are critical load-bearing components that experience progressive thickness reduction due to operational abrasion. Indonesian Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. 08/2020 and ISO 5057:2022 require fork withdrawal when blade thickness is reduced to 90% of its original value. However, conventional inspection does not explain the continuous evolution of structural safety margins. This study evaluates the safety margin degradation of Toyota 5FD70 forklift fork arms under three wear scenarios using linear static Finite Element Method (FEM). The model geometry was developed from dimensional data in a certified inspection report. The material was modeled as AISI 4140 quenched and tempered steel with a conservative yield strength of 850 MPa. Numerical validity was checked through a mesh convergence study, reaching a final deviation of 1.98%. The results show that all static scenarios remain in the elastic regime, with Safety Factors of 1.745 at 0% wear, 1.759 at 5% wear, and 1.607 at 10% wear. A dynamic projection at 10% wear with a Dynamic Amplification Factor of 1.30 reduced the Safety Factor to 1.235, which falls into the marginal zone. These findings support the 10% wear limit as an early-warning threshold for risk-based forklift fork integrity management.

The foundation is the lower structural part of a building that must be able to support the load of the structure above it. In foundation planning, the bearing capacity of the foundation can be calculated using soil investigation data and field load test data. This study aims to analyze and compare the bearing capacity of pile foundations using the empirical Mayerhof (1976) method based on N-SPT (Standard Penetration Test) data and the Hiley (1930) dynamic method based on driving record data from the Halang Island pier construction project in Rohil, Riau. The data used includes SPT test results from 3 drilling points (BH-01, BH-02, and BH-03) as well as driving record data from 40 pile driving points. The research subject consists of precast concrete piles with a diameter of 300 mm and an analysis depth of 42 m. The allowable bearing capacity (Qall) is calculated using a safety factor of 3. The analysis results show that the Mayerhof method yields a Qall value of 28.06 tons, while the Hiley method yields Qall values ranging from 15.30 to 29.93 tons. A comparison of the two methods reveals a ratio of 0.95 to 1.83 times, with a percentage difference ranging from -5.12% to 83.41%. The higher values in the Mayerhof method are influenced by the empirical correlation of N-SPT values representing soil conditions from investigations, whereas the Hiley method yields more conservative values because it accounts for the pile’s actual response during driving through energy transfer, penetration, and rebound. The research results indicate that the Mayerhof method is suitable for initial estimation of pile capacity, whereas the Hiley method is more representative in evaluating actual bearing capacity in the field.

The palm oil industry produces solid waste in the form of fiber which has been used as boiler fuel, but its potential nutrient content has not been optimally utilized in plantations. This study aims to assess the potential of palm oil fiber from Palm Oil Mills with capacities of 30 and 60 tons/h as a nutrient source for oil palm plants. The study used a quantitative descriptive method to determine differences in nutrient content between mill capacities. The results showed that palm oil fiber from both mill contained the macro nutrients of N, P, K, Mg, and Ca, as well as the micro elements of B, Cu, Zn, Fe, and Mn. Statistical tests showed that most parameters were significantly different (p<0.05) between the two fiber sources. Fiber from the 60 tons/h-mill had a higher N content, making it more potential to support vegetative plant growth. Meanwhile, fiber from a 30 tons/h-mill has higher K, Mg, Ca, and B content, which play important roles in the generative phase. This study concluded that oil palm fiber has the potential to serve as a nutrient source, with an application strategy tailored to the plant's growth phase.

This study is aims to understand how mothers’ intrapersonal communication processes help them recover from the baby blues through the practice of “The Living Qur’an,” taking into account the context of family communication as the backdrop for mothers’ postpartum emotional experiences. This study employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological research design. This method was chosen because it is highly relevant for exploring and deeply understanding individuals’ lived experiences regarding a specific phenomenon, in this case, the recovery process from the baby blues. This finding confirms that emotional improvement does not occur in isolation; strengthening in the Personal Domain (such as self-acceptance) automatically triggers a chain reaction that improves the Communal Domain (harmony in relationships with husband and children), shifts perspectives regarding the Environmental Domain, and ultimately deepens the Transcendental Domain (relationship with God).

This study aims to analyze and explore in depth how a father’s interpersonal communication helps restore his daughter’s self-esteem after she fails to gain admission to her dream college. This study employs a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The study seeks to explain how the quality of communication within the family serves as a medium for restoring a daughter’s self-esteem following academic failure. In this study, the data collection procedure was designed in a planned manner to ensure that the information obtained was purely derived from the experiences of the subjects (children and fathers) and was free from the researcher's personal bias or assumptions. The data analysis in this study used a phenomenological approach to uncover the essence of the informants' experiences. The study’s findings, daughters perceive their fathers’ role in interpersonal communication as a form of emotional validation and a source of security that is crucial for rebuilding their self-confidence. This restoration of self-esteem is largely determined by the father’s ability to initiate openness without the pressure of authority.

This study develops a market penetration framework for a global hyperscale data center operator that faces slow customer acquisition in Indonesia despite having strong infrastructure capabilities and financial backing. A sequential exploratory mixed-methods design was employed, comprising semi-structured interviews with eight industry experts and a structured survey of 40 decision-makers from hyperscaler, financial services, enterprise, and government segments. The findings reveal four distinct customer clusters, AI Pioneers (hyperscalers), Regulated Guardians (financial services), Pragmatic Operators (enterprises), and Sovereign Stewards (government), each with unique needs regarding AI-readiness, compliance, managed services, and data sovereignty. A critical trust deficit (92% perceive limited local track record) and low brand awareness (52.5% unaware) are identified as primary barriers. Importance-Performance Analysis indicates that ARSA GDC has potential competitive advantages in liquid cooling readiness, high-density infrastructure, and sustainability, which directly address key incumbent weaknesses. The resulting five-layer framework prioritizes securing a hyperscaler anchor tenant as the critical catalyst, supported by asset-based value propositions, strategic partnerships, operational excellence, and a phased implementation roadmap. The framework provides actionable guidance for new entrants in capital-intensive B2B markets.
