Karo Regency is one of the coffee growing centers in Indonesia. Karo Regency is a regency in North Sumatra Province. Several sub-districts produce the most coffee and have the largest land area, namely Tiga Panah and Barusjahe Districts. In addition to coffee, Karo Regency is a major center for vegetables, especially cabbage. To increase farmers' incomes, given their limited land and planting area, farmers must increase the production of each coffee plot. One way to do this is through polyculture planting, which involves intercropping coffee plants. The purpose of this study was to comparatively analyze coffee farming practices that implement monoculture and polyculture in Karo Regency and to determine the factors that influence coffee farmers' income in both cropping patterns and the influence of cropping patterns on the long-term sustainability of coffee farming. The research design used was comparative quantitative research. The method for determining the location in the study used purposive sampling and simple random sampling. The sample in this study were coffee farmers in Karo Regency who implement monoculture and polyculture cropping patterns. with a total of 60 people, 30 farmers cultivate monoculture coffee plants and 30 polyculture coffee farmers spread across 2 (two) sub-districts, namely Tiga Panah Sub-district and Barusjahe Sub-district.

The main issue related to malnutrition is parental knowledge. Education also affects parents' mindset regarding health issues. Higher education levels among parents influence their ability to correctly receive or understand information about maintaining their own health and that of their children, especially in providing adequate nutrition. Parents who are sensitive to education will strive to seek information to enhance their knowledge. Malnutrition issues generally occur in children of preschool age. This research was conducted at the Tamanan Health Center with the aim of testing and analyzing the influence of service quality and facilities on patient satisfaction, mediated by the competence of the staff. The research subjects were parents with preschool children participating in nutrition service programs at both the Tamanan Health Center and the integrated health posts (Posyandu) within the Tamanan Health Center's working area. The study was conducted from March to May 2025, involving 140 respondents. Tourism in Kendal Regency, especially Ngebum Beach in Mororejo Village, has become an important sector in the local economy. Management that was initially community-based by Paguyuban, then shifted to the Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), showed a significant impact on the socio-economy of the surrounding community. This study aims to analyze the social and economic impacts of tourism development in Ngebum Beach. A qualitative approach with a case study method was used to explore the changes that have occurred in the economic and social structure of the Mororejo Village community since tourism management began. The results of the study show that the Ngebum Beach tourism sector has created new jobs, increased household income, and strengthened social solidarity through cultural and spiritual activities. However, there are challenges in the inequality of distribution of economic benefits and changes in local cultural values that need to be managed wisely. Management strategies that involve all parties, including the community, BUMDes, and the government, as well as the use of technology in tourism promotion, can accelerate sustainable tourism development. Thus, the development of Ngebum Beach has the potential to support the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs).

This study examined the predictive roles of self-efficacy and religiosity on academic cheating among students at University X in Medan City. Employing a quantitative research design, this study collected data from 195 student participants. The tendency for academic cheating, along with levels of self-efficacy and religiosity, were measured using established scales. The results revealed that self-efficacy was a significant negative predictor of academic cheating. Higher levels of self-efficacy were strongly associated with a lower propensity for such misconduct, highlighting that a student's confidence in their own academic abilities serves as a key protective factor. Similarly, religiosity was found to have a significant negative relationship with academic cheating. Students reporting higher levels of religiosity, guided by strong moral and ethical values, were less inclined to engage in dishonest academic practices. Furthermore, the analysis identified a significant joint effect, where the combination of high self-efficacy and high religiosity provided the strongest deterrent against academic cheating. These findings underscore that both internal psychological confidence and a strong moral framework derived from religiosity are crucial in fostering academic integrity, making students who possess both traits most likely to act with honesty and responsibility.

This study explores the role of Adaptive Management Control Systems (AMCS) in enhancing employee performance within hybrid work environments, emphasizing the behavioral factors of perceived fairness and psychological safety. As organizations adapt to remote and hybrid models, management accounting practices must evolve to maintain performance and engagement. This research aims to examine the direct impact of AMCS on performance, the mediating role of fairness perception, and the moderating effect of psychological safety. A quantitative method was employed using a survey of 75 employees working under hybrid arrangements in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that AMCS significantly improves employee performance, both directly and indirectly through perceived fairness. Additionally, psychological safety strengthens the relationship between AMCS and performance. These findings suggest that effective management control in hybrid settings requires attention not only to structure but also to employees’ behavioral and psychological experiences. This study contributes to the development of behaviorally-informed management control systems and offers practical insights for organizations aiming to optimize performance in flexible work environments.
