Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of self-regulated learning and self-awareness on self-leadership among students at the Excellent Brain tutoring center in Kabanjahe. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. A sample of 100 students was selected using purposive sampling. Instruments used included validated and reliable scales measuring self-regulated learning, self-awareness, and self-leadership. The regression analysis revealed that both self-regulated learning and self-awareness significantly affect self-leadership, both partially and simultaneously. These findings suggest that students' ability to manage their learning processes and recognize their personal traits plays a crucial role in developing self-leadership. The implications of this study are expected to provide valuable input for tutoring institutions in developing educational strategies that foster students' self-leadership to support academic achievement and character development.

Abstract

This research is based onThe aim is to determine the influence of transformational leadership style and work motivation on job satisfaction in civil servants inNational Narcotics Agency of Aceh Province. This study uses total sampling in selecting subjects. The subjects in this study were all employees atNational Narcotics Agency of Aceh Provinceas many as 100 people. There are three hypotheses proposed in this study: (1) There is a positive influence between transformational leadership style and job satisfaction, (2) There is a positive influence between work motivation and job satisfaction, (3) There is a positive influence between transformational leadership style and work motivation on job satisfaction. Based on the research results, there is a significant influence between transformational leadership style and job satisfaction. Where the R coefficient is0.381 and p = 0.000. The correlation is significant, meaning that if the transformational leadership style is high, job satisfaction is higher. The determinant coefficient R2 is0.145, meaning that 14.5% of job satisfaction is influenced by transformational leadership style. Based on the results of this study, it can be stated that the proposed hypothesis 1 is accepted. There is a significant influence of work motivation on job satisfaction. Where the R coefficient is 0.237 and p =0.018. The correlation is significant, meaning that if work motivation is high, job satisfaction is higher. The coefficient of determination R2as big as0.056, meaning that 5.6% of job satisfaction is influenced by work motivation. Together, the variables of transformational leadership style and work motivation have a significant influence on job satisfaction. This can be seen from the model summary table where the R coefficient is 0.427 and p = 0.000. This means that together the variable X1and X2 affects the Y variable. Based on the results of this study, the three hypotheses proposed in this study are declared accepted. The determinant coefficient R2 is0.183, meaning that 18.3% of job satisfaction is influenced by transformational leadership style and work motivation. While 81.7% is influenced by other factors that cannot be explained in the regression equation (residual).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between socioeconomic status and self-efficacy on the psychological well-being of junior high school students. The background of this study is based on the importance of psychological well-being in adolescent development, which is influenced by external factors such as family socioeconomic conditions and internal factors such as individual self-confidence. This study uses a quantitative correlational approach with a cross-sectional survey design. The sample consisted of 181 eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh City who were selected using stratified random sampling. The instruments used included a socioeconomic status questionnaire, a self-efficacy scale, and a psychological well-being scale. The results of the analysis showed that socioeconomic status and self-efficacy simultaneously had a significant effect on students' psychological well-being (F = 32.90; p < 0.05). The R² value of 0.270 indicates that 27% of the variance in psychological well-being can be explained by these two variables. This finding indicates that both environmental factors and students' self-confidence play an important role in shaping psychological well-being. The practical implication of this study is the need for support from schools and parents in improving students' psychological well-being through interventions based on strengthening self-efficacy and improving socio-economic conditions. This study contributes to the literature on educational psychology in Indonesia, particularly in the context of junior secondary education.

Abstract

This research analyzes the effectiveness of Marketing Mix elements (product, price, place, promotion, personalization, privacy, customer service, community, site design) via social media on Impulsive Spending among online Slot gambling addicts in rehabilitation, mediated by Gambling Behaviour. Employing a quantitative method with a PLS-SEM approach, data were collected from 100 respondents, members of a Telegram acute gambler rehabilitation group, through questionnaires and interviews. The primary data comprised respondents' self-reported behavioural and financial information. Respondents were diverse adult individuals aware of gambling's negative impacts but strongly driven by internal motivations (such as recovering financial losses). Results indicate that most Marketing Mix elements do not significantly influence their compulsive Gambling Behaviour; gambling habits are primarily fueled by internal urges. However, promotion and personalization were found to have a significant and direct influence on triggering Impulsive Spending. Gambling Behaviour did not significantly affect Impulsive Spending and did not mediate the relationship between Marketing Mix and Impulsive Spending. Conclusion: In this population, internal drive dominates Gambling Behaviour, yet specific Marketing Mix tactics (promotion and personalization) remain effective in directly triggering Impulsive Spending. Abstract

Changes in accounting regulations through the implementation of the latest Financial Accounting Standards Statements (PSAK) have had a significant impact on the financial reporting practices of public companies in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of the latest PSAK on the quality of issuers' financial reports, by assessing the aspects of relevance, reliability, and comparability of the reports produced. This study uses a quantitative approach with a documentation study method on the annual financial reports of public companies before and after the implementation of new standards, such as PSAK 71, 72, and 73. The analysis was carried out using a regression statistical test to see the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the latest PSAK significantly improves the quality of financial reports, especially in terms of transparency and relevance of information. However, challenges were also found in terms of adapting the recording system and increasing the burden of accounting compliance. In conclusion, the implementation of the latest PSAK contributes positively to the quality of issuers' financial reports in Indonesia, but adequate technical assistance is needed for companies to optimize the benefits of implementing these standards.

Abstract

Nowadays, the development of AI has brought miracles, including the existence of applications that can imitate a person's voice and face. For example, former President Jokowi whose voice is used as if singing a song. There is even a video of former President Jokowi giving a speech in Chinese, even though in fact he never sang a song or gave a speech. This can apparently be done through an AI application using a person's voice and facial image. Even though after the issuance of Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (UUPDP), a person's voice and image are included in personal data in the form of biometrics. Then today, the development of technology in the digital era has made it common to use portraits to use AI Voice Generators and Deepfakes without permission. Deepfake itself is an image and video produced by Artificial Intelligence as if it were real. The PDP Law itself prohibits the use of a person's biometric data. For this reason, it is necessary to research the legal protection of personal data in the form of voices that are changed using AI Voice Generators or faces into Deepfake form. In addition, the use of personal data is very high, for example to attract buyers on digital platforms by creating deepfakes using portraits taken randomly on the Internet without the consent of the owner of the personal data.

Abstract

Complex challenges force professional workers, especially female police officers, to maintain a balance between their professional and personal lives. Their duties are not only physically demanding but also emotionally and psychologically demanding. This can lead to an imbalance between their personal and work lives (work-life balance) that can potentially reduce their well-being and performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of hardiness personality on work-life balance, with locus of control as a mediating variable. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of institutional support in enhancing psychological resilience and stress management strategies for female police officers to improve their well-being and work effectiveness. A quantitative explanatory approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between variables. The study sample consisted of 163 female police officers in the Aceh Regional Police selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted using the hardiness personality scale, work-life balance scale, and locus of control scale. Hypothesis testing on hardiness personality shows a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05), a p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) on work-life balance, a p value of 0.024 (p <0.05) on LoC, and a p value of 0.038 (p <0.05) on Loc as a mediator. Based on these results, it can be concluded that hardiness personality can influence work-life balance through Locus of Control.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of labor force participation, per capita income, and industrialization on urbanization in Indonesia in the short and long term. Rapid urban growth poses various social and environmental challenges. This study uses secondary data from the 1991–2023 time series and analyzes it using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to examine the dynamic relationships between variables. The results show that labor force participation has a significant effect on urbanization in the short term, although the direction of the influence is inconsistent. In the long term, the influence is insignificant. Per capita income also has a significant effect in the short term with varying directions, but is insignificant in the long term. Industrialization shows a negative effect in the current period and a positive effect in the previous period, but its long-term effect is also insignificant. Simultaneously, all three variables have a significant effect on urbanization in the short term, but not in the long term. These findings indicate that urbanization in Indonesia is more influenced by short-term socioeconomic dynamics than long-term structural factors.
