Abstract

Teacher performance refers to the ability possessed by a teacher to carry out quality teaching activities. Academic supervision, principal managerial skills, and work motivation play a role in improving teacher performance. The aims of this research are (1) to determine the influence of academic supervision on teacher performance, (2) to determine the influence of the principal's managerial skills on teacher performance, (3) to determine the influence of work motivation on teacher performance, (4) to determine the influence of academic supervision and the principal's managerial skills , and work motivation simultaneously on teacher performance. The population in this study were all state elementary school teachers in Bulu District, Temanggung Regency, totaling 174 people with a research sample of 121 people. The data collection method uses a questionnaire. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, hypothesis testing, and regression testing with the help of the SPSS 26 for Windows computer application. The results of the research show (1) there is a positive and significant influence of academic supervision on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Bulu District, Temanggung Regency, which isexpressed by the regression equation Ŷ = a + bX1, namely Ŷ = 46.795 + (0.387)X1, with a contribution of 43.7% ; (2) there is a positive and significant influence of the principal's managerial skills on the performance of public elementary school teachers in Bulu District, Temanggung Regency, which is expressed by the regression equation Ŷ = 59.269 + (0.277)X2 with a contribution of 21.1%; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of work motivation on the performance of state elementary school teachers in Bulu District, Temanggung Regency, which is expressed by the regression equation Ŷ = 49.975 + (0.338)X3, with a contribution of 34.2%; (4) there is a positive and significant influence of academic supervision, principal managerial skills, and work motivation simultaneously on teacher performance which is expressed by the regression equation Ŷ = 15.241 + 0.275X1 + 0.121X2 + 0.220X3, with a contribution of 62.5%. Abstract

SD Krista Citra Temanggung carries out academic supervision in the independent curriculum to improve teacher pedagogical competence. The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up of the principal's academic supervision in improving pedagogical competence in the independent curriculum at SD Krista Citra Temanggung. The research method is qualitative. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and document study. Data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing/verification. Validity test uses triangulation techniques. The research results show that academic supervision planning is carried out cooperatively, creatively, comprehensively, flexibly and continuously. 2) implementation of academic supervision through a coaching paradigm. 3) evaluation of academic supervision is delivered in general and in accordance with supervision principles. 4) follow-up to academic supervision in the form of providing motivation, coaching and solutions. The conclusion of the research is that the principal's academic supervision including planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up can improve pedagogical competence in the independent curriculum at SD Krista Citra Temanggung.

Abstract

Proper management in the adiwiyata school program will affect the success of the program implemented. This study aims to describe and analyze the activity planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising the adiwiyata school program in building the independent character of SD Negeri 2 Kundisari, Temanggung Regency. The research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documetation techniques. Qualitative data analysis includes data collection, data condensation, data display, conclusion drawing / verification. Test the validity of research results using triangulation techniques. The data obtained from the observations were adjusted to interview data or compared data from research subjects consisting of principals, teachers, students, committees, parents, and adiwiyata teams. The results showed that SD Negeri 2 Kundisari has implemented the adiwiyata school management function appropriately so that the program runs efficiently, effectively and the goals are achieved. This is evidenced by the following activities: (1) program planning is carried out by forming an adiwiyata team, compiling environmental studies, compiling and implementing environmental action plans, as well as supervision and evaluation, (2) organizing is carried out by dividing team tasks and communication and coordination systems (3) implementing activities including environmentally sound policies, implementation of environment-based curriculum, participatory based environmental activities, and management of supporting facilities that Environmentally friendly. (4) supervision includes internal supervision by school principals and teachers, external supervision by the Environment Agency (DLH) and school committees.

Abstract

Student welfare applies not only to students at the upper levels/adults but also to early childhood education. Similarly, as a school specializing in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Al Amin Islamic Kindergarten in Tuntang District has one way to achieve the goal of improving student welfare, namely through child-friendly school management. The school environment should create a sense of safety and comfort for students to learn and engage in other educational activities. This study aims to identify and describe child-friendly school management in enhancing student welfare at Al Amin Islamic Kindergarten in Tuntang District. This research is qualitative, with the research subjects being the school principal, teachers, students, parents, committee members, and students at Al Amin Islamic Kindergarten in Tuntang District. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employs the Miles and Huberman model with steps including data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity is ensured through increased diligence and the use of source and technique triangulation. The research findings indicate that child-friendly school management at Al Amin Islamic Kindergarten in Tuntang District operates very effectively. Supporting factors in the implementation of child-friendly school management at Al Amin Islamic Kindergarten in Tuntang District include cooperation and involvement of relevant stakeholders, while limiting factors include limited school land and insufficient BOSP funds. The impact of child-friendly school management at Al Amin Islamic Kindergarten in Tuntang District is the enhancement of student welfare and an improvement in school achievements in both academic and non-academic realms. Abstract

Abstract As technology develops in the industrial era 4.0, it has a significant impact on the world of education. Learning is starting to be directed towards the use of learning media that is able to attract students' interest in learning. Especially learning mathematics in elementary school. Learning mathematics is known as a difficult, boring and monotonous lesson. Even students at elementary school level are less interested in this lesson. This can be seen from the relatively low mathematics learning outcomes. The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes in the learning process through the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Canva media whether it meets the KKM or not. This type of research is quantitative with a pre-experimental design method with the design form used being One-Group Pretest-Potstest Design. The location of this research is SDN Pandeanlamper 03 with a sample size of 28 students in class IV. Hypothesis testing in this research uses the Paired Sample T Test which shows Sig. 0.000 < 0.05, so according to the decision making in the Paired Sample T Test it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant influence on learning outcomes using the PBL learning model assisted by Canva media.

Abstract

Teaching factory learning (TEFA) is a production/service-based vocational school learning concept that refers to standards and procedures that apply in industry, and is carried out in an atmosphere similar to that which occurs in industry. Students not only carry out learning activities at school, but also practice (basic competencies) and work (applying their competencies) in industry over a relatively long period of time. Teaching factory learning is expected to produce graduates who suit the needs of the business and industrial world (DUDI). Good and quality education is the basis for further development and progress. Quality in the field of education includes the quality of input, process, output and outcome. Educational quality assurance must be carried out independently and consistently by educational units, therefore it is necessary to build a culture of school quality so that educational goals can be achieved.School quality culture is an important factor in education to shape students into human beings with noble character, honesty, responsibility, optimism, courage, skill, cooperative behavior, tenacity, discipline and integrity. Quality Culture is a value system of an organization that produces environmental conditions that are conducive to the formation of continuous improvement in terms of quality. Quality Culture consists of values, traditions, procedures and expectations that prioritize quality. TEFA is one of the vocational school strategies for building a school culture of quality that will shape character and attitudes of responsibility and professionalism.This research aims to describe the findings from scientific journal articles regarding TEFA Evaluation in Vocational Schools through a literature review. It is hoped that this research can become a reference and consideration for policy makers to carry out improvements and outreach to other vocational schools so that they can implement TEFA well and efficiently. Search for research journal data using the Google Scholar database by applying the keywords "TEFA evaluation in vocational schools" and "TEFA implementation in vocational schools". Journal articles are limited to those published since 2017 but there are no restrictions on the use of language or research methodology used. This literature study used 13 articles that had gone through author screening. The results of this research show that the TEFA Evaluation has been carried out well, but there are still obstacles that need better improvement in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explain the planning, organization, implementation and control of Education Quality Management and TQM in improving the quality of KB Al Muttaqin education. The method used in this research uses a qualitative method by conducting interviews with Foundation Management, school principals and teachers as well as other necessary administrative data. Implementation and development of education quality management policies at KB AL Muttaqin and TQM to improve the quality of school education through an integrated quality management strategy that focuses on customers. A systematic approach is needed, a sustainable activity program and prioritizing the quality of education through the use of human resources as well as facilities and infrastructure to support the achievement of the activity program implemented by KB AL Muttaqin. The education quality management system and TQM to improve the quality of education are implemented within the Al Muttaqin KB environment including planning, organizing, implementing and controlling.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah fondasi utama dalam pembentukan masyarakat yang berkembang. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, konsep budaya mutu sekolah dan penilaian kinerja sekolah menjadi dua aspek yang tak terpisahkan. Artikel ini menguraikan konsep budaya mutu sekolah dan penilaian kinerja sekolah, serta hubungan erat di antara keduanya dalam menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang unggul. Budaya sekolah sebagai keseluruhan nilai yang dilembagakan menjadi faktor yang menentukan pengembangan sekolah. Begitupun, budaya sekolah perlu dimanfaatkan dan dikembangkan agar menjadi kekuatan pedorong bagi peningkatan mutu sekolah. Dengan kata lain, efektivitas sekolah sangat ditentukan oleh factor peran kepemimpinan yang mengarahkan pengembangan budaya sekolah, terutama budaya mutu yang menentukan arah pemantapan mutu sekolah yang diharapkan. Artikel ini membahas tentang implementasi dan strategi peningkatan budaya mutu dan kinerja sekolah di TK Ar-Rahman. Mengambil pendekatan yang holistik, artikel ini membahas langkah-langkah konkret yang telah diambil oleh sekolah untuk menciptakan budaya mutu yang berfokus pada pembelajaran dan untuk meningkatkan kinerja keseluruhan sekolah. Dalam konteks budaya mutu, TK Ar-Rahman telah membentuk tim kerja mutu yang terdiri dari guru, staf, dan orang tua. Tim ini bertanggung jawab atas pembentukan, implementasi, dan evaluasi inisiatif budaya mutu. Pelatihan kepemimpinan secara khusus diberikan kepada staf sekolah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan pengambilan keputusan yang efektif. Budaya mutu juga diperkuat melalui keterlibatan orang tua yang aktif dalam kehidupan sekolah. Pertemuan rutin diadakan untuk menyampaikan informasi dan mendengarkan umpan balik orang tua. Inisiatif khusus, seperti kegiatan kelas bersama dan lokakarya orang tua, meningkatkan partisipasi mereka dalam pengambilan keputusan sekolah. Meskipun dalam kenyataanya Budaya Mutu di TK Ar-Rahman tidak berjalan seperti yang diharapkan, karena adanya beberapa kendala diantaranya, Tenaga pendidik yang kurang memadai, Kualifikasi dan Kompetensi Rendah, Fasilitas dan sapras yang kurang memadai pula. Dalam konteks TK Ar-Rahman, artikel ini menguraikan studi kasus implementasi budaya mutu dan peningkatan kinerja sekolah, memberikan gambaran konkret tentang tantangan, keberhasilan, dan pelajaran yang dipetik dalam proses ini. Kesimpulannya, artikel ini memberikan wawasan tentang upaya sekolah dalam membentuk budaya mutu yang kuat dan meningkatkan kinerja sekolah di TK Ar-Rohman.

Abstract

The new education paradigm in the National Education System Law Number 20 of 2003 is the embodiment of one of the reform demands for changing the government system from centralization to decentralization. The concept of decentralization in education means the delegation of authority from the central government to regional governments to make management decisions and prepare their own plans to overcome educational problems by referring to the national education system. Providing autonomy for the implementation of education in schools in order to improve the quality of education requires a more conducive management approach so that it can accommodate all desires while empowering various components of society effectively. It is within this framework that School Based Management (SBM) becomes one of the educational management policies offered in the new paradigm. The aim of this research is to determine the principles and implementation of school-based management (MBS) functions in UPTD SPNF SKB Salatiga City. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this research were the school principal, curriculum development team, inventory officer, and treasurer. The data analysis technique using descriptive analysis includes three main things, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. Test the validity of the data using triangulation. The results of this research can be concluded that (1) UPTD SPNF SKB Salatiga City has implemented school-based management principles in the implementation of non-formal education. (2) UPTD SPNF SKB Salatiga City implements school-based management functions in curriculum management, student management, educator and education staff management, facilities and infrastructure management, financing management, school and community relations management, and cultural and environmental management.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the implementation of School Based Quality Management through community empowerment and the role of committees. research methods in descriptive analysis. School Based Management (SBM) is a management model that provides greater autonomy to schools, provides flexibility/flexibility to schools, and encourages direct participation of all school members (teachers, students, principals, employees) and the community (parents of students , entrepreneurs, and so on) to improve the quality of schools.
