Abstract

The advancement of the times, marked by progress in science and technology, has had a profound impact on human life. As thinking beings, humans continuously strive to develop various aspects of life to improve their quality of living. This process of change is ongoing, especially in the agricultural sector, which plays a crucial role in human life, and in industries such as PT. Great Giant Pineapple, one of the largest fruit plantation companies in Indonesia that has exported its pineapple products to nearly every corner of the world. The objective of this study is to determine and analyze the differences in Work In Progress (WIP) costs before and after the implementation of mechanization in the Banana Department at PT. Great Giant Pineapple PG4. The data used in this study are quantitative, and the methods for data collection include documentation and interviews. For data analysis, a two-sample independent t-test was employed. The results of the data analysis show that the Sig. (2-tailed) value from the Independent Samples Test table is 0.014, which is less than 0.05. Based on the decision criteria for the t-test, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating that there is a significant difference in WIP costs before and after the implementation of mechanization at PT. Great Giant Pineapple PG4 Banana Department. Prior to mechanization, there was an overcost of IDR 1,674,000,000, which was reduced to IDR 749,998,500 after mechanization, resulting in a total saving of IDR 924,001,500. This reduction is attributed to the shift from using 12 manual laborers to just 1 laborer operating a machine, which cut down the workforce by 11 people and simultaneously increased productivity and quality, processing land from 1 hectare to 7 hectares.

Abstract

This study conducted a review of the literature to analyze the dynamics of conflict and collaboration between local and central government in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to identify patterns and trends in these dynamics, as well as the underlying factors. The research presents findings from various articles and academic works that highlight changes in the relationship over time, challenges faced, as well as strategies used to improve intergovernmental cooperation. The research findings show that conflicts between local and central governments are often related to resource struggles, differences in interests, and lack of coordination. For example, conflicts related to the management of natural resources, such as forests and mining, often occur because local and central governments have different interests in their utilization. In addition, differences in regulations and policies between the two levels of government can also trigger conflict. On the other hand, collaboration between local and central governments is driven by factors such as common goals, effective communication, and strong leadership. This collaboration can be realized through various forms, such as cooperation in the preparation and implementation of development programs, exchange of information and data, and coordination in solving common problems. The results of this study provide valuable insights for practitioners at different levels of government to understand and effectively manage intergovernmental conflict and collaboration. Practitioners at the local and central government levels need to improve communication and coordination to minimize conflict and maximize collaboration. In addition, clear and consistent regulations and policies are needed at both levels of government to support effective collaboration. This research makes a new contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of the relationship between local and central government in Indonesia by identifying key factors that drive conflict and collaboration. It also demonstrates the important role of communication, coordination and leadership in building harmonious and productive intergovernmental relations.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the impact of tourist visits on increasing the income of business actors at the Hunimua-Liang Beach tourist attraction (ODTW), Central Maluku Regency. Respondent sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method using qualitative analysis. These results indicate that the level of tourist visits at Hunimua-Liang Beach on weekdays and long holidays is not too busy. In contrast to the level of tourist visits on weekends, there are always lots of tourists who usually visit, usually mostly local tourists, there are also domestic and foreign tourists but not too many. The income of traders at Hunimua-Liang Beach on weekdays and long holidays is not very large because there are not too many tourists who come to visit so they don't sell much. In contrast to the income obtained on weekends, the income obtained is greater because many tourists come to visit and many people buy what they sell.

The study involved 328 participants aged 18-24 from Turkey. Data were collected through online and face-to-face surveys. Confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression were used. Results indicated significant positive effects of leisure crafting on life satisfaction and Islamic well-being. Islamic well-being was found to mediate the relationship between leisure crafting and life satisfaction, highlighting the importance of integrating spiritual dimensions into leisure activities. The study highlights the importance of integrating spiritual dimensions into leisure activities for enhancing life satisfaction. It provides insights for designing culturally and spiritually sensitive leisure programs to promote overall well-being in Islamic contexts.

Abstract

The research aims to determine public opinion regarding the level of tourist visits in the case study of Namalatu beach tourism and Hunimua beach tourism during Covid-19. Respondent sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method using qualitative analysis. These results show that the level of tourist visits explained during the Covid-19 period was usually mostly local tourists, visits to tourist locations at that time were in accordance with Health protocols and limited visitors came. The number of tourist visits during the Covid-19 pandemic decreased drastically as a result of restrictive government regulations and public concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic. Local tourist visits have also influenced the number of visits to tourist attractions. This shows that the significant decrease in the number of visitors will have a direct effect on the income of small traders in beach tourism. Because traders' income really depends on the number of visitors who visit Hunimua beach and Namaltu beach

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service features, perceived ease and financial literacy on the decision to use the OVO E-Wallet in Bengkulu City. This study is a type of quantitative research. The population used in this study were OVO E-Wallet users in Bengkulu City. This study used incidental sampling techniques or non-probability sampling, so that a research sample of 100 respondents was obtained from Generation Z in Bengkulu City. The collection of respondent data was distributed via Google Form. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis are the equation Y = 1.566 + 0.621 X1 + 0.253 X2 + 0.212 X3 +e, this illustrates a positive regression direction, meaning that the service feature variables (X1), perceived ease (X2) and financial literacy (X3) have a positive influence on the decision to use (Y) in Generation Z in Bengkulu City. From the results of the calculation using SPSS version 25.0, the coefficient of determination of R square can be seen as 0.842. This means that the value of service features (X1), perceived ease (X2) and financial literacy (X3) influence the decision to use (Y) by 84.2% while the remaining 15.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the t-test at a significance level 0.05 explain that partially service features (X1), perceived ease (X2) and financial literacy (X3) have a significant influence on the decision to use (Y) in Generation Z of Bengkulu City. The results of the f-test are smaller than 0.000, so the variables of service features (X1), perceived ease (X2) and financial literacy (X3) have a significant influence on the decision to use (Y) in Generation Z of Bengkulu City.

Abstract

The Sadbor dance phenomenon on TikTok shows how Indonesian farmers use social media as a survival strategy amid economic constraints. This trend emerged amidst a difficult economic situation, where many farmers were forced to seek additional income through digital platforms. This study aims to understand the Sadbor dance as a form of everyday resistance in the context of James Scott's theory and as a response to the Spiral of Silence by Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann. The novelty of this study lies in the effort to connect the socio-economic phenomenon of farmers with the theory of symbolic resistance in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative method with content analysis of the Sadbor dance video and public responses. The results show that the Sadbor dance is not just entertainment, but also a hidden medium of expression that reflects farmers' dissatisfaction with unfair economic conditions. The recommendation of this study is the need for more attention from the government to the welfare of farmers through stronger economic support, so that they have alternatives outside of social media to improve their standard of living.
