The introduction of the revised 2013 curriculum, which is currently being used in the education curriculum in Indonesia, has had a new impact, particularly on the activeness of students. However, a new problem arises when a very different learning system is applied directly to students, necessitating adaptation on the part of both students and teachers. The purpose of this study is to identify the learning model used by teachers at SMAN 2 Lumajang, as well as the level of student activity at SMAN 2 Lumajang in implementing the revised 2013 curriculum system. The teacher can make an assessment based on the level of student activity. The quantitative descriptive method is used in this study. Data was collected by distributing online questionnaires via Google form to students at SMAN 2 Lumajang, and a literature review was conducted to further deepen the study in this research. According to the findings of this study, the implementation of the revised 2013 curriculum that the government has proclaimed has not been fully successful due to the discovery of a low level of student activity when the revised 2013 curriculum policy was implemented, and the 2013 revised curriculum was not fully implemented as it had been prepared, because there was still no alignment with the conditions of the students being taught. As a result, there is a need for the government to conduct a review of the revised 2013 curriculum in order to improve the quality of national education.

Teaching skills are skills that must be mastered by every teacher or prospective teacher. This study aims to determine the level of mastery of teaching skills for PLP students in physics education at the University of Riau. The teaching skills seen are; 1) skills in opening lessons, 20 skills in conveying learning objectives, 3) skills in conveying learning material, 4) skills in mastering teaching materials while delivering material 5) skills in class management during learning takes place, 6) skills in conformity evaluation with the material presented, and 7) closing skills. This study uses a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach method. The results of this study are that the teaching skills of PLP physics education students get a score of 63.1% in the good category. So that it can be said that PLP physics education students have mastered several teaching skills well.

Education is identical to school (formal institutions), while non formal institutions are still neglected as one of the sub-systems in the world of education. Meanwhile, one of the non-formal institutions for “Bimbingan dan Konsultasi Belajar” (Study Guidance and Consultation) Nurul Fikri is a tutoring institution that intensively implements religious character values. This study aims to describe internalizes of the values of religious character education in students by learning guidance institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling. The data obtained were analysed using the interactive analysis model of Huberman with the steps of reducing data, displaying data, and retrieving data. The results of the study describe the form of internalization of religious character values in BKB NF, namely: 1) The existence of BIP subjects as a forum for Muslim personality development; 2) Leaders, teachers and staff become role models in BKB NF; 3) The norms and values of the BKB NF Padang institution make all BKB NF Padang residents try to carry out God's orders and stay away from His prohibitions. The implications of this research can be used for education offices and educational institutions related to the character-building model in non-formal institutions.

Education in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a very important concern to prepare human resources (HR) owned by educational institutions in the face of rapid and dynamic changes in the world of work. Artificial Intelligence which is a technology that is increasingly developing and used in various sectors, including education. Education must adapt to the development of Artificial Intelligence technology and utilize it to improve the quality of learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze education in the era of Artificial Intelligence whether it can improve the quality of human resources as opportunities or replace them as challenges. The research method used in this research is a literature review by conducting a content analysis of a number of sources collected. The results showed that Artificial Intelligence technology can help in optimizing learning carried out in educational institutions. Skills in creativity, empathy, communication, and problem solving are still very important in creating effective and enjoyable learning experiences for students. Even so, the existence of human resources in the field of education remains indispensable in the era of Artificial Intelligence.

The ability to understand is the ability to understand in depth a concept by empowering logical, critical, creative, and innovative minds and being able to take responsibility for a concept. Type of research: qualitative with a descriptive approach to describe students' ability to understand mathematics in completing exponential and root operations in class X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. The subjects of this study were 13 students who had studied the number material with the previous rank. The data collection technique used in this study is the provision of tests and interviews. From the results of research and discussion obtained the following percentages: 1) Restating a concept 15%. 2) Presenting concepts in various forms of mathematical representation 6%. 3) Using and utilizing and selecting certain procedures or operations 41%. 4) Applying concepts in problem solving 42%. It can be concluded that students' understanding of mathematical concepts is still low in understanding questions related to exponential and root forms, describing the path of solving the problem and applying the concept of exponential forms and roots appropriately. The researcher suggests that the teacher should pay attention to the different abilities of students' understanding of concepts. So that it can provide a more detailed explanation of students who do not understand the material being taught and this research should be used as comparison material for future researchers.

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the readiness of students to become prospective teachers and the factors that influence it. This study used a mixed method technique. The subjects of this study were all students of the Economics Education Study Program FKIP University of Riau, academic year of 2017 with a total of 78 people. Data collection methods were questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The results showed that students of the Economics Education Study Program, FKIP, University of Riau were not ready to become prospective professional teachers. The readiness of students in pedagogic competence is in the quite ready category. Meanwhile, in term of professional competence, students of the Economics Education Study Program FKIP University of Riau were not ready to become prospective professional teachers. Judging from the factors that influence student readiness, all factors, both internal and external, greatly influence student readiness, except for physical conditions.

Abstrak: Salah satu kemampuan bahasa terpenting yang dibutuhkan siswa adalah pemahaman bacaan. Memahami makna teks untuk menentukan makna kalimat leksikal disebut pemahaman bacaan. Membaca juga melibatkan proses penerjemahan. Konten tekstual dan menerjemahkan teks dari satu bahasa ke bahasa lain merupakan subjek kegiatan penerjemahan. Akibatnya, siswa memperoleh sejumlah keuntungan dari proses penerjemahan dalam hal meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada korelasi yang signifikan antara pemahaman membaca dan kemampuan menerjemahkan mahasiswa semester enam Program Studi Bahasa Inggris FKIP Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kuantitatif. Metodologi penelitian kuantitatif korelasional digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Tujuannya adalah untuk menunjukkan hubungan antara dua variabel. Dalam penelitian ini, dua variabel adalah pemahaman bacaan siswa dan kemampuan menerjemahkannya. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa kelas enam semester, sedangkan sampelnya adalah 37 siswa dari kelas B. Data dikumpulkan dari dua bagian tes, yaitu pilihan ganda dan tes esai. Hasil hipotesis menunjukkan hipotesis alternatif (Ha), yaitu Asymp.sig. (2-tailed) sebesar (0,01 < 0,05). Dengan demikian, terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara pemahaman bacaan dan kemampuan menerjemahkan siswa. Diharapkan materi pembelajaran seperti penggunaan novel, berita, artikel, dan media tertulis lainnya dapat meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan dan kemampuan menafsirkan siswa.

This study aims to analyze consumption behavior, which is influenced by economic literacy and reference groups, either partially or simultaneously. Population of the study was all students at Vocational High School of Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. By using proportional random sampling techniques, 205 students were gathered as respondents. Data was obtained using questionnaire and test techniques. The research variable data was analyzed descriptively and then the relationship between variables was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the SPSS assisted. The results of this study show that students' consumption behavior is partially influenced by economic literacy and reference groups, respectively by 0.328 and 0.522; Meanwhile, simultaneously, students' consumption behavior is equally influenced by 0.525 by these two influencing variables. At a significance level of 5%, the consumption behavior of students, SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, is significantly influenced by economic literacy and reference groups.

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk media pembelajaran yang relevan dengan kondisi SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. Penelitian menggunakan model 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan. Subjek penelitian adalah respon siswa kelas XII IPS, hasil validasi ahli media, dan ahli materi. Objek penelitian adalah media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis android. Proses perancangan dan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis android melalui proses wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, identifikasi perangkat pembelajaran serta penyusunan prototype melibatkan 2 validator ahli materi dan 3 validator ahli media. Hasil validasi ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan hasil sebesar 89,31% dan 95% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uij coba pada siswa menunjukkan media pembelajaran android AJP perusahaan jasa 1.1_0 Apk berada pada kategori “sangat layak” sebesar 86%. Repetition is a learning strategy that teachers have known many times and still use as it helps them teach the learning process in the classroom. This study investigated how student teachers use repetition in their first teaching practice experience. The researcher tried to find out the class of words that are most repeated by student teachers and also determined the function of repetition spoken by them in EFL classes. The data of this study came from the teaching practice videos from student teachers of English study program, Universitas Riau. This research used the framework Pragmatic analysis to analyze the function of repetition. From the study result, there were 144 repetitions spoken by six student teachers during teaching practice. It was found that repetition used by the teacher functions as a confirmation, giving information, repairing/correction, as emphasis, eliciting specific information, gathering students' attention, asking for information, and giving clear instructions to the students.
