Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman dari jenis kupu-kupu (Lepidoptera) yang berada di Kawasan Cirahab Sumber, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode deksriptif kuantitatif. Pada penelitian ini sampel yang diambil dari Kawasan Cirahab Sumber dengan di peroleh beberapa famili yang diantaranya famili Nymphalidae, Pieridae, Papilioidae, Lycaenidae, Hesperiidae. Adapun famili yang paling banyak diperoleh adalah Nymphalidae dengan mendapatkan 10 jenis kupu-kupu dan yang paling sedikit yaitu dari famili Lycaenidae, Hesperiidae dengan jumlah 2 jenis spesies saja, Adapun hasil perhitungan dari H’ atau nilai indek keanekaragaman pada penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai 2.940142703, nilai tersebut menunjukan kategori “Sedang”. yang dimana keanekaragaman dari kupu-kupu yang berada di Kawasan Cirahab Sumber menunjukan penyebarannya tersebar dengan merata.Kata kunci : Keanekaragaman, Kupu-kupu, Cirahab Sumber

Abstract

This study aims to implement biology domino card media as an alternative learning media and examine its effect on improving student understanding of excretory system material. The research used pre-experiment method with one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were all students of class XI IPA SMA IT Bina Pekerti as many as 23 students, with saturated sampling technique. The instruments used include concept understanding tests and student response questionnaires. The results showed an increase in the average score from the pretest of 48.7 to the posttest of 81.5 with an average N-Gain value of 0.64 (medium category). The paired sample t-test showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) between the pretest and posttest. Students' responses to the use of media also showed a very positive category. Based on these results, the biology domino card media is effectively used to improve student understanding of excretory system material in class XI. Abstract

Research conducted in the Curug Goong area is a study with exploratory descriptive methods, research conducted also obtained a variety of phyla including annelid, mollusca and arthropod phyla from these phyla also get various types of animals including earthworms and leeches of annelid phyla, poison snails, river snails, gold snails including mollusca phylum and the last phylum arthropods are dragonflies, black ants, red ants, grasshoppers, butterflies, millipedes, scorpions, spiders, shrimp and river crabs. The total calculation of the diversity index or (H') is 2,507, the value is also included in the “Medium” category. The medium category is included in the condition of evenly distributed. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kawasan Cirahab sumber dengan penelitian vertebrata sebagai hewan yang diteliti. Adapun verterbrata yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini yaitu dari ordo pisces, reptile, amfhibi, aves dan mamalia. Selain itu juga hewan vertebrata yang diperoleh jumlah keseluruhannya yaitu 166 individu dari masing-masing ordo yang diperoleh di Kawasan cirahab sumber. Vertebrata yang diperoleh dari ordo pisces berjumlah 57 ekor dari jenis ikan lele, nila, mas dan ikan wader. Sedangkan pada ordo amfibi berjumlah 10, reptile berjumlah 8 ekor, aves berjumlah 50 ekor dan mamalia 51. Adapun hasil perhitungan Indeks Keragamannya mendapatkan hasil 2.59, hasil ini apabila dikategorikan menunjukan pada kategori “Sedang”.

Abstract

Detergent is a product that has a function as a dirt remover on clothes when washing, detergent is disposed of excessively in waters it will have a negative impact on aquatic biota, such as fish, aquatic plants, or organisms that live in water, besides that it will also reduce O2 levels in water, damage organs in fish and death in fish due to detergent pollution. The more the level of detergent pollution in the water, the more severe the death of aquatic biota will be, and vice versa, the lower the level of pollution, the better the life of aquatic biota there. Pollution is also one of the disturbers in the respiration process in the ecosystem so that the ecosystem will be disturbed by the amount of pollution from tourists and the domestic wastes they carry. This research was conducted with qualitative research using observation / observation methods and experiments on measuring the level of detergent in these waters.T he parameters seen from this study are water temperature, water pH, chemical content in water and fish in Cirahab waters. The results showed that the concentration of detergent was very high, garbage from plastic, bottles and food scraps from visitors scattered around Cirahab waters. Judging from this, the aquatic ecosystem will be disturbed and will threaten the survival of aquatic biota including fish. Fish will experience respiratory problems, namely in the gills, gills will experience damage and even mass death in the fish ecosystem in Cirahab waters. Abstract

Indonesia is a very large country consisting of large islands which certainly have abundant diversity. Indonesia is known as mega-biodiversity which has a very large number of flora and fauna known to be second in the world after Brazil. Biodiversity also has many benefits for humans, especially in wood plants, including as materials in making house buildings, firewood or other human needs, these plants should also be preserved and preserved for the survival of humans when they need it, besides that, this study aims to foster attitudes in preserving and maintaining biodiversity in students as the next generation of educators through the learning process outside the classroom or in the surrounding environment by giving challenging tasks to students. The subject of this research is the biology study program students in the biodiversity course with a total of 30 students. The type of research used is PTK (class action research) which is carried out with 2 cycles, cycle I and cycle II, with this research approach is a qualitative descriptive approach. Data analysis was carried out by triangulating data and using percentages and observations on student attitudes using a Likert scale, observation sheets and field notes as well as other documentation such as photos and supporting images in the research. The results of the research are that there is an increase in student attitudes at the implementation of cycle I, at the end of cycle I and at the end of cycle II, besides that there is an increase in student understanding after cycle II is implemented. It is hoped that teachers or lecturers in teaching, can apply the learning process outside the classroom and provide challenging tasks for students or students so that the teaching and learning process inside and outside the classroom feels more fun and challenged. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of local potential as a contextual approach in science learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of literature reviews from various scientific sources and educational policies. The review results show that local potentials, such as school gardens, home industries, and the surrounding natural environment, are utilized to teach science concepts such as ecosystems, matter and its changes, energy, environmental pollution, and other science topics. Learning strategies that can be applied include project-based learning, field visits, and direct observation, which align with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum and the scientific approach. This implementation increases student enthusiasm, active engagement, and stronger conceptual understanding. On the other hand, there are obstacles such as limited resources to support major science concepts, the unavailability of modules based on local potential, and the lack of teacher training on local potential. The teacher's role as a learning innovator is key in packaging local potential into relevant teaching materials. Positive impacts are also seen in the strengthening of Pancasila Student Profile values, such as mutual cooperation, environmental awareness, and appreciation of local culture. This study recommends strengthening teacher capacity, policy support, and the provision of contextual learning resources to optimize the integration of local potential in science learning. Abstract

This research is a descriptive analysis study that aims to evaluate the local potential of the Ngawonggo Partitraan Site as a learning resource in biology learning at school. Data was collected using a descriptive analysis approach based on the results of interviews and literature review. The interview technique in this study used a SWOT analysis approach (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify the advantages and challenges in utilizing the site as teaching material. The results of the literature study, it is known that the Ngawonggo Partitraan Site is a natural historical area that holds significant local potential, especially in terms of biodiversity. The site has various types of high-level plants, medicinal plants, and unique and distinctive types of bamboo. This biodiversity can be utilized as contextual biology learning materials, relevant to the surrounding environment, and in line with curriculum development and 21st century learning needs. Utilization of this local potential is expected to improve the quality of learning and strengthen the link between science and cultural values and local wisdom. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the extent to which the implementation of the inquiry-based learning model impacts students' creative thinking skills in science subjects. A quantitative approach was adopted, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group structure. A total of 52 fifth-grade students from a Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in Bandung City were purposively selected as participants. They were assigned into two groups, comprising 26 students each in the experimental and control classes. An instrument consisting of 8 essay items was administered during both the pretest and posttest phases to assess students’ creative thinking skills. The findings indicated a statistically significant enhancement in the experimental group following the application of the inquiry model, with a posttest average score of 77.8 and an N-Gain of 0.67, classified within the moderate category. These findings affirm the effectiveness of the inquiry approach in fostering divergent thinking and enhancing students’ adaptability in problem-solving. This study offers a practical contribution in providing evidence-based recommendations for elementary science instruction, emphasizing the integration of inquiry-based strategies to cultivate students’ higher-order creative thinking competencies. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the process of making bamboo violins and science learning materials at the junior high school/Islamic junior high school level, and to find out the teacher's response to the suitability of learning resources based on local potential in the process of making bamboo violins. The abundant local potential of bamboo in Japan Village, Kudus, is utilized by a craftsman named Mr. Ngatmin as the main raw material in making bamboo violins. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation, and science teacher questionnaires. The results show that all stages of making a bamboo violin from material selection, cutting, drying, processing the violin body, assembly, polishing, to finishing can be linked to science materials, such as plant classification, force and effort, heat, adhesion and cohesion, pressure, physical and chemical changes, and the concept of sound and vibration. The responses of science teachers indicate that the teaching materials based on local potential are considered suitable and interesting to use in learning because they are contextual, relevant to everyday life, and can improve students' understanding and creativity.
