Abstract

Imam Ibn Qoyyim better known as 'Ulama' experts Fiqh, Tafsir and Hadith apparently also had a stake in the science, as evidenced by the books he authored were close relation with Linguistics as the book Miftah dar al-Sa'adah more- more books Badai'ul al-Fawaid. Its contents are more specific deal about rules Nahwu and shorf and linked to interpret the text of the holy verses of the Koran. Therefore, the authors are interested in investigating. In this paper the authors formulate the problem as follows: 1. What do nahwu Ibn Qoyyim in interpreting the verses of the Koran? 2. Where heeling Ibn Qoyyim in nahwunya opinion ?. The method used by writer is descriptive method. The author describes the majority opinion of experts nahwu compared with the opinion of Ibn Qoyyim in interpreting the Koran. Ibn Qoyyim opinion in interpreting the Koran is a textual schools. While heeling Qoyyim to his teacher Ibn Ibn Taymiyya whose expertise in the field of hadith scholars and Hanbali schools.

Abstract

Novel "Arrajul al Lazi Amana" is a novel by Najib Kaelani. In this novel Kaelani Najib Describes about the discovery of a new life. Old-paced modern environment did not provide Iryan happiness. West telahdigapai progress it gave birth to her alienation. So he chose to go to the east to find a new path. Arriving in the East, he gets the desired. An old belief, Christian. Abandoned to embrace a new faith, Islam. After embracing this new confidence he gained a light heart, which changed his life. He left his fame and the glitzy world of music. He chose bersunyi ourselves in God's way. Sings music he changed into a chant to God, until he gained true happiness. The purpose of this study was to describe the character of the characters in the novel "Arrajul al Lazi Amana" .And focus the problems presented in this discussion are: 1). How many characters in the novel "Arrajul al Lazi Amana" by Najib Kaelani ?, 2) How does the character figures according to Sigmund Freud's theory of the novel "Arrajul al Lazi Amana" Najib Kaelani work ?. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The approach used in this study is the approach of psychology literature. Data generated in the form of words in the form of quotations from the text of the novel. In connection with that, in this study used the psychoanalytic theory of Sigmund Freud that focuses on understanding the dynamics of the character and personality of a person or particular on the characters in the novel "Arrajul al Lazi Amana". Because this story about the discovery of new life in the novel "Arrajul al Lazi Amana" is more inviting elements of the psyche.

Abstract

Qasidah Burdah Imam al-Bushiri consists of 160 stanzas, which contains about the "Advice and Warnings". As greedy lust, praise to the Prophet, the Prophet's birth, glory of the Qur'an, Isra 'Mi'raj, and jihad of the Prophet Muhammad. Objectives to be achieved by the authors of this research is to know the kinds of goals and values ​​of Islam contained in Qasidah Burdah Imam al-Bushiri. This research is a qualitative research, while the method used is descriptive method (to give an overview and explanation of Qasidah Burdah) as well as the method of analysis (as a tool to examine more deeply about Qasidah Burdah in this study). Conclusion The results of this research are: 1) there are two objectives (Aghrodh) is in Qasidah Burdah Imam al-Bushiri, namely - Praise (Hymn), - Ghazl (Flirt). such as the temple of 1-2, 29-32, 59, 85-86, 102-105, 114-117. 2) Then there are three kinds of Islamic values ​​in Qasidah Burdah Imam al-Bushiri, namely: 1). Value of thought as in stanzas 8, 100-101, 133-134. 2). Ethics / ahlak as the temple of 29-32, 54-58, 112-113. 3). Values ​​such as the temple deity to 150-155.

Abstract

The Quran is one of the miracles of the Prophet Muhammad. One kemu'jizatan Qur'an is in terms of its linguistic. The Qur'an has a style that is very beautiful and precise diction. One style of language in which the Koran is the word of the news (kalam khabar). Forms khabar kalam in the Qur'an is not only meaningful but has a distinctive purpose khabar. To determine the intent required carefulness in analyzing the context of the verses of the Koran. From this the researchers are keen to discuss the style of the language of the Koran, especially kalam khabar). As the focal point in this discussion is the problem: The approach used in the study of this literature is the analysis method balaghah, namely in terms of the science of al-Ma'ani. The results obtained by the author in this discussion are as many as 364 forms consisting of kalam khobar khobar kalam ibtidai 279, 73 and 12 tholabi kalam kalam khobar khobar Inkari. While the purpose of “kalam khobari” many as 282 kinds.

Abstract

This study examines the epistemological role of the Arabic language in the formulation of al-qawāʿid al-fiqiyyah (legal maxims) and its implications for the validity and authority of Islamic law. The central inquiry addresses the extent to which Arabic functions not merely as a medium of expression, but as a methodological structure in the construction of legal maxims. Employing a qualitative library-based approach, this research applies linguistic and normative analysis to explore the relationship between the Qur’anic and Prophetic texts and the formulation of legal maxims. The findings demonstrate that the disciplines of naḥw (syntax) and ṣarf (morphology) play a crucial role in preserving semantic precision within the primary legal sources, which, through the process of takhrīj al-aḥkām (derivation of rulings) and systematic abstraction, give rise to universal legal principles (al-aḥkām al-kulliyyah) articulated as legal maxims. The concise yet semantically dense structure of Arabic enables the formulation of comprehensive principles encompassing diverse subsidiary legal cases. The Arabic redaction of al-qawāʿid al-fiqiyyah constitutes an integral component of their normative construction and legal legitimacy, while translation functions primarily as an explanatory instrument within pedagogical contexts.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the Najwa Thuraya Dictionary and the Al-Ghani Dictionary, two widely used references in Arabic language teaching and research. Employing a qualitative descriptive–comparative approach, the study analyzes selected dictionary entries through document analysis. The findings indicate that the Najwa Thuraya Dictionary emphasizes simplicity and practical contemporary vocabulary, making it suitable for beginner-level learners, whereas the Al-Ghani Dictionary offers broader linguistic coverage and greater depth, serving as a more comprehensive academic reference. The study concludes that each dictionary fulfills a distinct function, with Najwa Thuraya being more effective in educational contexts and Al-Ghani more appropriate for scholarly use.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji secara kritis integrasi lintas disiplin dalam tulisan M. Naser Al-tadāwuliyyah al-ijtima‘iyyah wa uslūb ta‘allumiha fī al-ḥiqbah al-zamāniyyah al-mu‘āṣirah (2019) dengan menempatkannya dalam kerangka sintesis epistemologis pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Analisis dilakukan melalui conceptual content analysis yang memadukan perspektif pragmatik, sosiolinguistik, dan pedagogi bahasa untuk menelusuri cara teori dirangkai dan dioperasionalkan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan dua pola integrasi yang bekerja secara berlapis, yakni Merger-Smelting, di mana penggabungan teori tampak dominan pada tataran konseptual, sementara peleburan konseptual muncul pada tataran aplikatif dalam desain pembelajaran. Temuan ini menegaskan adanya transisi dari integrasi interdisipliner menuju orientasi transdisipliner yang lebih praksis, sehingga memperkaya kajian sosiopragmatik dan menawarkan landasan bagi pengembangan pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang kontekstual, komunikatif, dan relevan secara sosial. Kata kunci: sosiopragmatik, integrasi keilmuan, Merger-Smelting, pembelajaran bahasa Arab.

Abstract

This study investigates readers’ responses to ‘Āid ilā Ḥaifā by Ghassan Kanafani on the Abjjad application, employing a diachronic literary reception approach. The research aims to explore how contemporary digital readers interpret the novel across time and how their responses reflect aesthetic, emotional, and ideological dimensions. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method within the framework of literary reception theory. The data consist of readers’ comments and ratings collected from the Abjjad platform, focusing on the top 40 comments with the highest engagement over approximately a decade (2013–2023). Data were collected using non-participatory observation and note-taking techniques, then analyzed to identify patterns of reception related to plot, language style, and political ideology. The findings reveal that readers’ reception is predominantly shaped by three main aspects. First, the plot is perceived as emotionally powerful, particularly due to its delayed climax and narrative shock, which intensify readers’ engagement. Second, Kanafani’s language style is widely appreciated for its simplicity, expressiveness, and immersive quality, enabling readers to experience the narrative vividly. Third, in terms of political ideology, most readers tend to support militant resistance as the primary means of liberation, although alternative perspectives emphasizing critical awareness and non-violent resistance also emerge. This study demonstrates that digital literary platforms such as Abjjad function as dynamic spaces for meaning-making, where readers actively negotiate aesthetic and ideological interpretations. It also highlights the transformation of literary reception in the digital era, where readers are not merely passive consumers but active producers of meaning.

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of taqdīm wa ta’khīr (foregrounding and backgrounding) in the Qur’an and explores effective approaches to teaching this rhetorical device. Employing a qualitative descriptive method within a library research design, the study draws on the Qur’an as the primary source of data, supported by classical and contemporary works in Arabic linguistics and rhetoric. Data were collected through documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that taqdīm wa ta’khīr is widely employed in the Qur’an for various rhetorical purposes, most prominently for specification (ikhtiṣāṣ), emphasis (ihtimām), guidance (irshād), and stylistic effect. These variations contribute significantly to the semantic depth and aesthetic quality of Qur’anic discourse. In terms of pedagogy, the study proposes a structured instructional model that includes understanding rhetorical intent, selecting key linguistic elements, introducing concepts progressively, reinforcing through repetition, and utilizing audiovisual aids to enhance comprehension. This study contributes to bridging the gap between Arabic rhetorical theory and its practical teaching, particularly in the context of Qur’anic stylistics.

Abstract

LKS as one of the most widely used teaching materials, functions not only as a medium for practicing language skills but also as a tool for socializing social values and gender representation. However, LKS often contain representations that are not neutral; instead, they reflect ideologies, norms, and power relations that prevail in society. Therefore, it is important to conduct a critical study to understand how gender representation and social values are presented in Arabic Language LKS, as well as their implications for the character education process of students. This study aims to analyze gender representation and social values in Arabic Language LKS for Islamic Junior High Schools (MTs) using Fairclough’s Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) approach. The data were obtained through an in-depth review of reading texts, dialogues, illustrations, and exercises contained in the LKS. The analysis was conducted by mapping the gender roles displayed and identifying the social values embedded in the texts. The findings show that gender representation in Arabic Language LKS for MTs tends to remain biased, reinforcing traditional male roles in the public sphere and female roles in the domestic sphere. Meanwhile, the social values presented prominently emphasize aspects of religiosity, politeness, responsibility, and cooperation but pay less attention to themes of diversity, social justice, and gender equality. These findings indicate that the future development of Arabic Language LKS needs to pay greater attention to the principles of gender equality and the integration of more inclusive and progressive social values. Thus, this study provides an important contribution to the development of teaching materials that not only strengthen students’ language competence but also encourage the formation of fair, open-minded characters with a sense of social justice, in line with the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum.
