Abstract

Currently, the number of children with special needs in Buleleng Regency is quite significant, there are 331 individuals. This number is disproportionate to the availability of special education schools. This situation necessitates immediate attention to ensure that children with special needs continue to receive educational services. As a non-inclusive institution, Hardika Jaya Kindergarten has been offering educational services catering to the specific needs of children with disabilities. This qualitative descriptive study delves into the nature of these services and the challenges encountered by the teaching staff in their implementation. Six teachers from Hardika Jaya Kindergarten served as the participants for this research. Data was collected through a combination of document analysis, questionnaires, and observational notes. Subsequent analysis involved processes of data reduction, categorization, and verification, all within a qualitative descriptive framework. The research findings indicate that the educational services provided for children with special needs at TK Hardika Jaya are similar to those provided for regular children, starting from lesson planning, management, and evaluation. However, the challenges encountered include teachers having difficulty understanding children's interests; children being unable to focus; children having difficulty interacting; and teachers not yet receiving training as special education teachers for children with special needs.

Abstract

Writing news texts is one of the important learning items to be mastered by students, especially class Gianyar for the 2023/2024 academic year is still relatively low. The aim of this research is to find out whether implementing authentic learning with interactive video media in writing news can improve student abilities and student responses to implementing authentic learning with interactive video media in class XI AP2 students at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this research were students in class This research uses two cycles and each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques use test and observation methods. The data processing method uses descriptive statistical methods. The research results show that implementing authentic learning with interactive video media can increase student responses, and implementing authentic learning with interactive video media can improve the ability to write news texts for class XI AP2 students at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati, Gianyar for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Digital learning media provides many conveniences for teachers and students in making learning and teaching experiences more flexible. However, learning media has not been widely implemented in schools. The purpose of this research is (1) to determine the development of the geomath room application as a STEM-based digital learning media on spatial building materials. (2) to determine the quality of STEM-based geomath room applications in spatial building materials. This research uses research and development methods with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The product resulting from this research is Geomath Room-based digital learning media based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with discussion material, namely building a room for class VIII junior high school students which is packaged in an application called geomath room. The data sources for this research are validators, mathematics teachers and students. Research data collection techniques use questionnaires and tests. Where the validity test results were declared valid with a percentage of material validation of 0.88 and media validation of 0.89. In the quality test the geomath room application was declared practical and effective. The percentage of student learning test results in limited trials was 70%, field trial I was 81.3%, and field trial II was 88%. The percentage results of student response questionnaires in limited trials were 65%, field trials I were 66%, and field trials II were 67%. So it can be concluded that the learning media in the form of a STEM-based geomath room application on spatial building material is valid, effective and practical.

Abstract

Puri Gede Kaba-Kaba is one of the cultural tourism objects located in Kaba-Kaba Village, Kediri District, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province. This palace is used as a tourist attraction because the building has traditional Balinese architectural art, as well as the application of the Sanga Mandala and Asta Kosala Kosali concepts that are still preserved until now. In addition, activities at the location still reflect the strong Balinese culture supported by a cool environment with a very wide expanse of rice fields and close to other famous tourist attractions such as Tanah Lot and Nyanyi Tabanan Beach. Tourists can do various things at Puri Gede Kaba-Kaba such as participating in the tour of the palace, taking pictures and enjoying traditional dishes. Tourists can also tour Kaba-Kaba Village by bicycle or walking along the cool rice fields and beautiful scenery. Data analysis techniques are carried out qualitatively descriptive and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that Puri Gede Kaba-Kaba is in Quadrant V, which means maintaining and preserving (unchanged strategy) to continue to be developed as a leading cultural tourism object in Tabanan Regency. The development of cultural attractions with the existence of Puri Gede Kaba-Kaba must be linked to various other tourism activities, both in Kaba-Kaba Village and other famous tourist attractions close to Puri Kaba-Kaba. The development of cultural tourism attractions is not only from Puri Gede Kaba-Kaba itself but also the environment around Kaba-Kaba Village in general

Abstract

This study is a classroom action research that aims to determine the extent to which the application of the Problem Solving Learning Model assisted by LKPD improves the achievement of mathematical competence and learning completeness of class XII 7 P6 students of SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar in the 2024/2025 academic year. To achieve this goal, the Problem Solving Learning Model assisted by LKPD was implemented for class XII7 P6 students of SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar in the 2024/2025 academic year consisting of 52 people. The object of the study is mathematical competence and student learning completeness. Data on students' mathematical learning competence were collected using learning achievement tests. Meanwhile, data on student learning completeness were obtained by comparing students' daily test scores with the KKM score (KKM score = 70). If the score obtained by the student has reached the KKM or more, then the student is declared complete, and if it has not reached the KKM, it is declared incomplete. The percentage of students who have achieved the KKM or more indicates classical completeness. Furthermore, the data collected in this study were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that after the implementation of the Problem Solving Learning Model Assisted by LKPD, there was an increase in the achievement of students' mathematical competence, namely in cycle I the average value of students' mathematical competence reached 73.17 with classical student completion of 80.56%. Furthermore, the results achieved in the implementation of cycle II were the average value of students' mathematical competence reached 76.11 with the percentage of classical student completion reaching 91.67%.

Abstract

Higher education plays a crucial role in empowering local communities, especially in creating sustainable solutions to the challenges faced by these communities. One proven model of learning that effectively achieves this goal is project-based learning. In this model, students collaborate with faculty members and members of the local community to design, implement, and evaluate projects aimed at providing direct benefits to the community. This article discusses the important role of higher education in empowering local communities through project-based learning models. Through this approach, students not only gain practical experience in applying the knowledge acquired in the classroom but also assist in identifying and addressing the challenges faced by the local community. By strengthening the relationship between universities and communities, the project-based learning model not only enriches students' learning experiences but also helps to enhance the well-being and sustainability of local communities. Case studies presented in this article will illustrate the practical implementation of this learning model and its impact on empowering local communities and the contributions made by higher education in creating sustainable solutions to social, economic, and environmental issues.

Abstract

Learning media is an important instrument that needs to be developed to improve students' understanding of the subject matter, but not all teachers are able to develop learning media according to the subject matter. This study aims to develop audio-visual learning media to improve students' understanding of the material on drawing flora and fauna. The study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4D model: define, design, development, and dissemination. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and assessment sheets for material validation, media feasibility, and media effectiveness. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that the development of audio-visual learning media for drawing flora and fauna material can be done through four stages: 1) definition, namely conducting historical analysis, facilities and infrastructure, resources and curriculum; 2) design, namely compiling learning materials, editing process for learning media and dubbing; 3) development, namely realizing videos into audio-visual learning media, with a material validation score of 98.07% (very valid), a feasibility score of 90.63% (very feasible), and an effectiveness score of 89.19% (very effective); 4) distribution by providing the media to schools for learning to draw flora and fauna. It is concluded that the developed audio-visual learning media can be used effectively in learning to draw flora and fauna in Junior High Schools.

Abstract

Art of balinese puppet shadow perfarmances in Bali besides it is functioning religiously, its function as an education media. Therefore Balinese puppet shadow can be viewed as process of informal education which is very significant in understanding the value of attitude, mentality, ethies, and logic. In this context Dalang ( the puppet master) has a very imfartant and complext role which is a an artist, educator, religious expert, and philosopher, through Dalang artist. The puppet shadow performances, the community gets kuowledge about ethical valves, logic, atttitude and mentality. In general balinesa shadow pappet can provide educational value which is reflected through the family of pandawa.. The value of being praiseworthy reflected by the Rsi Drona and family Korawa. As such, the study used a descriptive-qualitative design, the data analyisis Bali shadow puppet show, particularly the case of Bima looking for holy water.

Abstract

This study examines the analysis of the influence of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Gemini in compiling teaching devices for students of the Prospective Teacher Professional Program. This study uses a quantitative data analysis method, with a Statistical Description data analysis technique using the Rasch model assisted by the Winstep Application. While for the construct test from experts using Gregory analysis. The study was conducted at the IKIP Saraswati Teacher Training Institute using research subjects, namely students of the Prospective Teacher Professional Program, while the object of the study was the analysis of the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Gemini to compile teaching devices. The results of the analysis show that the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Chatbot Gemini has an effect on Compiling Teaching Devices for Prospective Teacher Professional Program Students. With Person measure = 2.45> 0.0, Cronbach's alpha value of 0.92 and the person reliability value shows the number 0.94. While the expert validation results are 0.90 which is in the very high category which confirms that AI Gemini helps prospective teacher professional students in creating teaching devices.

Abstract

The Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Learning Model is a teaching approach that focuses on students' learning readiness, not just at the class level. The TaRL approach provides flexibility in teaching according to students' abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) learning model assisted by LMS can increase the learning motivation of PPG Prospective Teacher students, wave 2, semester 2, 2024/2025 academic year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were 34 PPG Prospective Teacher students, wave 2, semester 2, 2024/2025 academic year at LPTK IKIP Saraswati and the object of the research was learning motivation. This study went through two cycles consisting of four stages of the activity process including (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques used non-test techniques, observation techniques, and interview techniques. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) learning model assisted by LMS can increase the learning motivation of PPG Prospective Teacher students, wave 2, semester 2, 2024/2025 academic year. This statement is proven by the fact that in the pre-cycle the learning motivation was at a percentage of 29.4% with a low category, in cycle I the percentage of learning motivation increased to 50% with a moderate category and in cycle II it increased to 88.3% with a very high category.
