Abstract

Rhetoric or political communication is important for people who are preparing for a political contestation. As we know, rhetoric really needs to be explored in detail, so that the process of gaining votes in the context of elections can be significant. Therefore, the choice of rhetorical models is always needed by contestants. This article aims to dissect the rhetorical models that exist and have become the choice of contestants in an election. The method the author uses is to start from a general description of the rhetorical model, then from there it will be dissected the meaning of this rhetorical model, if it can be the choice of the contestants. In line with that, the result obtained from dissecting these rhetorical models is a combination of the rhetorical models of Aristotle, Lasswell and Interactionalism. From the combination of these models, it will clarify to the contestant the rhetoric he needs to use to achieve his goal of electability or significance in terms of his electability

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve students' ability to write inspirational stories using comic strip media. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in two cycles, with data collection, observation, tests and documentation. The research object was 30 students in class IXA of SMP N 1 Alasa Talumuzoi, consisting of 14 men and 16 women. The results of the research show that the use of comic strip media can improve students' inspirational story text writing skills in cycle 1 with an average of 56.7% and cycle 2 with an average of 96.67%. The researcher concluded that: the use of comic strip media in planning and implementing learning carried out by researchers in teaching material on writing inspirational story texts can improve the skills of writing inspirational story texts in class IX A students of SMP Negeri 1 Alasa Talumuzoi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine student perceptions and challenges faced by a teacher when using Kejar.id during the Covid-19 pandemic. This article uses qualitative descriptive methods with interviews, questionnaires, and documentation techniques to collect data. The data have collected from the twelfth-grade students and the English teacher which have learned using Kejar.id in English subject. The researcher himself is the instrument of this research to analyze the data from participants. The research findings showed that mostly students gave good perceptions about Kejar.id. The students said that the use of Kejar.id helped them in terms of student administration, checking learning progress, accessing virtual classes, the learning process and assessment, meanwhile, the problem experienced by students was the network. Furthermore, the results of interviews conducted with the teacher showed that there are four problems arose in using Kejar.id, namely teaching learning styles and culture challenges, pedagogical e-learning challenges, technological challenges, and time efficiency challenges. The results of this research indicated if students gave the positive perceptions in using Kejar.id also the teacher have faced several challanges when using Kejar.id as learning management system in English classroom

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the literature review of madrasa head strategies in improving the quality of madrasa education. This research method uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with stages of determining themes, searching, selecting literature, analysis, and interpretation, drafting, and disseminating results. The research was conducted using 20 articles resulting from a selection of 38 articles obtained from various sources with publication years from 2016-2022. The focus of the study is on 3 things, namely programs, strategies, and implications of the madrasa head's strategy in improving the quality of education. The results of the research show that: 1) the programs implemented by madrasah heads are diverse and varied, most madrasah heads produce quality madrasahs by first improving the quality and competence of their teachers. 2) the madrasa head's strategy for achieving madrasa quality has its own characteristics depending on the type, leadership style and environment of the madrasa. 3) the implications of the madrasa head have a direct impact on the quality of education in the madrasa, both human resources, academic and non-academic

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between electric potential difference and electric current in a conductor with resistance and aims to describe the MPA relationship in adding to the scientific body of physics. The type of research used in this study is quantitative experiment, namely research by conducting practice on ohm's law physics. The data in this study were obtained from experiments, questions and answers, and documentation. Based on the experimental results shown by the graph, it proves that the potential difference and electric current strength have a significant relationship, which is in accordance with the theory of Ohm's law. Based on the discussion above, it can be concluded that there is a link or relationship between MPA and the scientific treasures of physics because MPA can add new experiences, understand new theories and so on. From the results of the graphs shown, it can be concluded that the experiments were carried out in accordance with Ohm's law theory, namely the voltage is directly proportional to the current strength. Therefore, it is necessary to have a practicum guidebook that can train the science of ohm's law physics

Abstract

Parenting style is the best way for parents to educate their children as an embodiment of their sense of responsibility towards their children. Islam also views the family as the first environment for an individual where he interacts or acquires the basic elements and characteristics of personality. Parents are obliged to create appropriate parenting patterns in educating their children in the family environment. This type of research is qualitative research, namely "a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. Based on data from the results of research conducted regarding the Role of Parenting Patterns on the Responsible Character of Kemala Raja Elementary School Students, the following conclusions were produced: Firstly, the parenting patterns of parents of Kemala Raja Elementary School Students are divided into two types, namely authoritarian parenting patterns and democratic parenting patterns. Second, the role of parental parenting towards the character of students at SDN Kemala Raja is as follows: Role as creator/designer, educator, role model/simulator, reactor, motivator, socialitator and evaluator.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of grammar structure in thesis abstracts of nursing program students at the Ngudia Husada Madura Student of Health Sciences (STIKES). The main objective of this study was to understand the dominant pattern of grammatical errors and provide implications for students’ ability to write thesis abstracts. The research method involved collecting thesis abstracts from students and conducting an in-depth analysis of the grammatical structures used. The results revealed that tense-related errors were the most dominant pattern, indicating difficulty in choosing the appropriate tense to present the research results. In addition, complexity in sentence construction was found, which can hinder the understanding of the core message of the research. Errors in the use of subjects and predicates, which affect the logical flow of abstract writing, were also found. The four keywords that emerged from this study were grammar structure analysis, thesis abstracts, nursing students, and STIKES Ngudia Husada Madura. These findings have important implications for abstract writing in nursing theses. Learning strategies that focus on choosing the correct tense, constructing clear sentences, and understanding the subject and predicate must be implemented. In addition, it is necessary to consider factors such as students' previous level of English fluency and educational experience. The integration of English into the nursing curriculum is crucial for improving nursing students' language skills

Abstract

This research is based on the atmosphere of the learning process that is alive and effective, less active students and low learning motivation and learning outcomes of students in grade V SDN 03 Clering. This study aims to determine how effective the application of Pop-Up Book media is in improving science learning outcomes of ecosystem material in grade V elementary school students "N 03 Clering Donorojo Jepara.  "This research is an experimental quantitative study with pre-Experimental research types and One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design." The study was conducted in grade V SDN 03 Donorojo Jepara with a total of 30 respondents. The results of the "paired samel t-test analysis showed that the calculated value obtained was greater than the ttable (8,746 > 2,042) the application of Pop-Up Book media was effective in learning outcomes of science student ecosystem material in grade V SDN 03 Donorojo for the 2023/2024 school year.

Abstract

The process of Self-directed learning of students using modules or consulting by asking for online explana-tions to lecturers is still not effective, especially for Computer Graphics courses that prioritize psychomotor aspects, namely skills. This research aims to develop learning media in the form of interactive multimedia to support Self-directed learning of Computer Graphics course students. This research uses the type of develop-ment research or Research and Development. The development procedure used adopted Thiagarajan's 4D model. This research produces multimedia products consisting of an initial page, the main menu page includes introduction, material, developer profile and quiz or evaluation. The multimedia developed effectively improves student learning outcomes through Self-directed learning in terms of an increase in the average score of pre-test and post-test results from 67.22 to 82.41, which means that there is an increase in student learning out-comes by 15.19%.
