Abstract

This study examines the implementation strategies of Parenting Education in enhancing parental support for elementary school discipline policies through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The review focuses on mapping the forms of parenting strategies, patterns of implementation, and their impact on student disciplinary behavior. Data were obtained from eight national journal articles indexed in SINTA, published during the period 2020–2026, which were collected through Google Scholar with the help of the Publish or Perish application. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis through the stages of selection, reduction, grouping, and synthesis of research findings. The study results indicate that the dominant Parenting Education strategies include habituation, modeling, two-way communication, democratic parenting styles, and ongoing collaboration between schools and parents. The implementation of these strategies impacts the improvement of students' compliance with rules, learning responsibility, as well as consistency in disciplined behavior at both school and home. These findings affirm that Parenting Education is a strategic approach in strengthening the synergy between schools and families to support the successful and sustainable implementation of elementary school discipline policies

Abstract

This study originated from the low numeracy skills of students, in which only 5 out of 33 students were able to solve the problems correctly. The purpose of this study was to improve students’ numeracy skills through the implementation of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model using Mathematics Domino Cards (DoMat) as learning media in Grade III of SD Negeri Salit. The research subjects consisted of 33 students, including 15 female students and 18 male students. This study employed Classroom Action Research. Data were collected through formative tests to measure students’ numeracy skills and non-test techniques in the form of observation sheets to examine learning activities. Data analysis techniques included quantitative descriptive analysis for test results and qualitative descriptive analysis for observation data. The results showed an increase in the percentage of students’ mastery of numeracy skills from 33.33% in the pre-cycle to 66.66% in Cycle I, and further increased to 87.87% in Cycle II. These findings indicate that the TGT model with DoMat cards is effective in improving students’ numeracy skills.

Abstract

The background of this study is based on the urgent need for a curriculum that is more relevant, flexible, and responsive to modern pedagogical developments, including the demands of communicative competence, technology integration, and the diversity of learner needs. This study aims to analyze classical and contemporary curriculum development models that have been applied in language education, such as the Tyler, Taba, Oliva, Beauchamp, Wheeler, Audrey & Nicholls models, as well as competency-based curricula. The research method uses a literature study by reviewing primary and secondary literature related to curriculum development theory and practice. The data collection method used is literature documentation and in-depth analysis to produce a theoretical conclusion regarding the most effective curriculum model. The results of the study indicate that no single model can be used universally in Arabic Language Education. Effective curriculum development must integrate clarity of objectives, relevant material structure, a communicative approach, and continuous competency-based evaluation. This study emphasizes the importance of an adaptive curriculum, namely a curriculum that combines the best elements of various models according to the characteristics of the institution, learning culture, and learner needs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the critical dimensions of HRM transformation within Indonesian educational institutions. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design. Data sources were obtained from academic literature (Google Scholar, SINTA, and DOAJ using specific keywords) as well as technical policy regulations related to education management. Data were collected through a systematic literature search and analyzed using content analysis and theoretical synthesis techniques. The results highlight four main pillars of transformation: the integration of AI-based digital ecosystems with a human-in-the-loop approach for efficiency; the implementation of Agile Leadership to navigate the uncertainty of the VUCA era; the adoption of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) which aligns operational efficiency with environmental sustainability; and placing educator well-being as a primary institutional priority. The study finds that successful transformation depends not merely on technological infrastructure, but significantly on organizational culture readiness and psychological support for educators. In conclusion, the synergy between smart technology, flexible leadership, and a supportive work environment serves as a strategic imperative for sustainably improving the quality of learning in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine changes in curriculum policy in Indonesia from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum through a literature review approach. The method employed is library research by analyzing national and international journals, academic books, research reports, and relevant policy documents. The data sources for this study were drawn from national and international scientific journals, academic books, education policy documents, research reports, and official regulations related to the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. Data analysis is conducted using a descriptive thematic approach to identify conceptual shifts, policy directions, and the implications of implementation at the educational unit level. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is a response to the need for learning that is more flexible, contextual, and learner-centered. This curriculum emphasizes teacher autonomy, differentiated learning, and the simplification of competency achievements, in contrast to the 2013 Curriculum, which tends to be more structural and administrative. The successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum is greatly determined by the readiness of educators, the availability of supporting facilities, and the consistency of policies. This curriculum transformation is a strategic step to improve the quality of education, although it still requires continuous guidance and evaluation

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of betacyanin extract from red beetroot (Beta vulgaris) as a natural alternative to Giemsa stain in blood smear preparations. A quasi-experimental, descriptive-comparative approach was employed, using a single sample of peripheral blood from a healthy individual. The smears were stained using betacyanin extract adjusted to pH 3, 5, and 7, while a control sample was stained with 10% Giemsa. Staining outcomes were assessed based on four parameters: color intensity, cell morphology clarity, staining homogeneity, and color stability after 24 hours. Betacyanin was extracted using maceration with methanol-HCl solvent, followed by pH adjustment. Data were analyzed descriptively by comparing the mean staining-quality scores across pH variations with the Giemsa control. The results showed that Giemsa provided optimal performance across all parameters, with high intensity, excellent cell structure clarity, and consistent, stable coloration. Among the betacyanin treatments, pH 5 yielded the best performance, with relatively strong color intensity and moderate staining homogeneity, although it did not match the staining quality of Giemsa. In contrast, betacyanin at pH 3 and 7 produced lower staining quality, both in terms of contrast, distribution, and stability. This study concludes that betacyanin at pH 5 shows potential as a natural stain for hematological use, yet still requires further optimization

Abstract

Studies on al-mutasyâbih al-lafzhî in Qur’anic scholarship have generally exhibited repetitive analytical patterns and limited engagement with underexplored classical works. This study aims to examine the method and systematic structure of taujîh al-mutasyâbih al-lafzhî in Milâk al-Ta’wîl by Ibn al-Zubair al-Ghornâthî, and to investigate the semantic implications derived through linguistic and munâsabah approaches. The research is motivated by long-standing scholarly debates concerning the meanings of repeated or lexically similar Qur’anic verses, ranging from views that generalize identical meanings to those asserting absolute semantic differences. Employing library research with a descriptive-analytical method, this study uses Milâk al-Ta’wîl as the primary source, supported by classical works of ‘ulûm al-Qur’ân and tafsir literature. The findings reveal that Milâk al-Ta’wîl represents a pioneering contribution to the discipline of taujîh al-mutasyâbihât al-lafzhiyyah, characterized by a thematic method, dialogical structure, and arrangement following the tartîb al-mushaf. The identified semantic implications not only offer interpretative variations but also function as mechanisms for integrating meanings among similar verses, demonstrating the precision of Qur’anic diction, and preventing perceptions of semantic contradiction. This study contributes an alternative analytical model for understanding al-mutasyâbih al-lafzhî in Qur’anic interpretation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in building excellent human resource governance to support the sustainability of private higher education institutions. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design at the School of Administrative Sciences (STIA) Cimahi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and institutional document analysis, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that transformational leadership implemented through idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration effectively strengthens strategic human resource governance. The transformation of HR governance is reflected in competency-based recruitment systems, transparent performance evaluation, continuous professional development, and the formation of a collaborative work culture. This strengthened HR governance contributes to improving academic quality, student satisfaction, institutional reputation, and organizational sustainability. However, challenges were identified, including limited financial resources, resistance to change, and suboptimal reward systems. These findings suggest that the success of transformational leadership in private higher education requires consistent structural and organizational cultural support. The success of transformational leadership in private universities requires consistent structural support and organizational culture.

Abstract

Differential Calculus is a cornerstone of the mathematics curriculum, yet its abstract nature often presents obstacles for pre-service teachers. Although academic success is frequently linked to motivation, significant achievement gaps persist even under uniform teaching conditions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between learning motivation and academic achievement in Differential Calculus among Mathematics Education students at Universitas PGRI Wiranegara. The research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational design involving a sample of 30 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and academic records, then analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. The findings indicate a very weak relationship (r = 0,197) between motivation and final grades. These results suggest that in challenging subjects, cognitive prerequisites and external variables may have a stronger correlation than affective traits, thereby emphasizing the need for an instructional focus on foundational skills and cognitive methodologies
