Abstract

This research aims to understand the Discipline Supervision of Students at SMP IT Fathona Pakjo Palembang. The type of research uses a qualitative research approach. The key informant in the Discipline Supervision of Students at SMP IT Fathona Pakjo Palembang is the school principal. Supporting informants in this research include the Vice Principal for Student Affairs and teachers at SMP IT Fathona Pakjo Palembang. Data collection techniques in qualitative research involve interviews, observations, and documentation. After collecting the data, the author analyzes and explains the data. The data analysis model used in this research consists of steps for data collection, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the supervision of student discipline at SMP IT Fathona Pakjo Palembang is carried out effectively, through several stages namely monitoring student discipline, checking student discipline, guidance and direction on student discipline, disciplinary actions for students, and corrective actions for student discipline.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of Dr. Arie Adrianus Polim's presence as an Obgyn specialist on TikTok and trust simultaneously on patients' preferences in choosing an Obgyn. This type of study falls under quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study involves all followers of Dr. Arie Adrianus Polim's TikTok account @dokAriePolim, amounting to 73,500 people. The sample size was calculated using Slovin's formula. The sample size is 100 respondents, using convenience sampling as the sampling method. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and literature studies. Hypothesis testing utilized simultaneous tests (F test) and t-test (partial), as well as multiple linear regression, along with the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²). The results of the data analysis show that the regression model as a whole is not significant in predicting patient preferences (Y). Partially, (1) TikTok content (X1) has a regression coefficient ß= 0.073 (p = 0.202 > 0.05). Trust (X2) has a regression coefficient ß= 0.082 (p = 0.119 > 0.05), meaning that the influence of the TikTok content variable (X1) and Trust (X2) on Consumer Preferences (Y) in this study is not significant, with positive beta coefficients, indicating a unidirectional but insignificant effect. The predictive strength of the model is very weak, indicated by an R² value of 0.017. This means that only 1.7% of the variation in patient preferences is explained by TikTok content and trust, while 98.3% is influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

River sand mining has become a widespread practice to meet construction material needs. However, this activity often ignores significant environmental impacts, resulting in damage to river ecosystems and the surrounding area. This study aims to further explore the environmental damage caused by sand mining activities along rivers. Using qualitative research methods and a literature review approach, data was obtained from various academic sources such as journals, books, research reports, and other relevant publications. Data analysis was conducted through identification, categorization, and interpretation of information to understand damage patterns, causal factors, and the resulting ecological and social consequences. The results indicate that unregulated sand extraction results in river morphological degradation, reduced air quality, loss of aquatic habitat, increased riverbank erosion, and changes in airflow patterns. Furthermore, social impacts such as land conflicts and reduced livelihoods of local communities are also common. This study emphasizes the implementation of strict regulations, effective oversight, and the implementation of responsible mining practices to minimize negative impacts on the environment and river ecosystems.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types of difficulties students face and the underlying factors contributing to these challenges in solving stacked multiplication problems. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach involving six fourth-grade students, selected based on their ability levels (high, medium, low) from test results. Data collection techniques include tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification. The research findings indicate that students experience difficulties in aspects of concepts and principles (procedural). Conceptual difficulties include mistakes in calculating multiplication results and retaining numbers, while procedural difficulties are shown by incomplete working steps and inaccuracy in adding retained numbers. The causes of these difficulties include internal factors, such as a low mastery of basic multiplication, understanding of place value concepts, and the procedure for column multiplication, as well as external factors in the form of teaching methods from teachers that are not yet fully effective. Students' difficulties in solving multi-step multiplication problems are caused by a weak understanding of concepts and systematic working procedures, hence a more concrete and repetitive learning approach is needed. Strategies that can be applied to minimize students' difficulties include the use of the finger math method, Dienes block manipulatives, as well as providing regular and gradual exercise problems.

Abstract

Natural disasters in Indonesia pose significant challenges in managing their impacts, especially during the crucial post-disaster phase for long-term recovery. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) offer significant potential in supporting post-disaster management through the integration and analysis of spatial data. This literature study aims to assess the use of GIS in post-disaster management, as well as to identify the challenges and development opportunities. Data collection was conducted through literature studies and document analysis, including scientific journals, disaster agency reports, and relevant government policies. The obtained data were analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the analysis indicate that GIS plays a crucial role in damage assessment, planning for aid distribution, inter-agency coordination, and recovery monitoring. Nevertheless, challenges such as data integration, limitations in infrastructure and human resources, and data security need to be addressed. The development opportunities for GIS are supported by technological advancements, increased data availability, and awareness of disaster issues. Optimal utilization of GIS requires continuous efforts in data standardization, capacity building, and policy strengthening to achieve more effective and responsive post-disaster management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the issue of a child with mild intellectual disabilities who is not yet capable of performing addition with results up to 20, even though the student has already reached the 8th grade in a special education school. Based on the identified problems, the student needs to be provided with learning media to enhance their addition skills as well as to increase motivation in learning. Number Stick Media is one type of learning media that can be used to assist children in learning mathematics, specifically addition. The type of research used is quantitative with an experimental approach in the form of Single Subject Research (SSR) using an A-B design. The subject of this research is children with mild intellectual disabilities in the eighth grade at SLB YPAC West Sumatra. The data collection techniques used in this study involved interviews and tests. The data analysis technique used is graphical visual analysis. The results of the study indicate that in the baseline condition (A), a percentage result of 35%, 35%, and 35% was obtained. In the intervention condition (B), results of 65%, 80%, 85%, 85%, 90%, 90%, and 90% were obtained. Based on the data analysis that has been conducted, it was found that the use of stick number media can improve the ability to add lateral series with results up to 20 for children with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB YPAC West Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize number symbols from 1 to 10 through the use of Number Board media in children with mild intellectual disabilities. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with an experimental methodology in the form of a single-subject (SSR) design using an A-B model. The subject of this study was a fourth-grade student at SLBN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti who had difficulty recognizing number symbols. The data collection technique used was a test, with instruments consisting of questions requiring the student to name and point to number symbols. The data analysis technique employed in this study was visual graph analysis. The research was conducted over 12 meetings,3 meetings during the baseline phase with percentage scores of 10%, 10%, and 10%, and 9 meetings during the intervention phase with percentage scores of 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100%, 100%, and 100%. The improvement was accompanied by a positive trend in the direction of the data and significant stability in the results. This study shows that the Number Board media can help children recognize number symbols in addition operations in a concrete, simple, and enjoyable way.

Abstract

The uniqueness of interpersonal communication in Aspuri Sultra-Yogyakarta lies in their communication patterns, which are still influenced by the dialect of each ethnic group, even though the female students study and migrate to Yogyakarta, they still use the Southeast Sulawesi accent in their daily communication. This topic is interesting to discuss considering that no one has addressed interpersonal communication in Aspuri Sultra-Yogyakarta. Therefore, the main issues discussed are the concept of interpersonal communication, how the female dormitory residents maintain solidarity through interpersonal communication, and what factors support and hinder interpersonal communication in maintaining solidarity in Aspuri Sultra-Yogyakarta. In this study, the communication method used is the persuasive method. Data analysis is conducted qualitatively with stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research results show that in an effort to maintain solidarity in Aspuri Sultra-Yogyakarta, residents adopt the concept of openness regarding feelings and thoughts to prevent misunderstandings. Furthermore, the quality time agenda held every month is one way to strengthen brotherly relationships. The presence of dialogues and familiarity serves as supporting factors in interpersonal communication. However, the differences in dialects used have become an element that leads to misunderstandings in interpreting words, and a lack of empathy and supportive attitudes are also significant obstacles to effective communication

Abstract

This study investigates how monetary policy dynamics icy and the growth of banking third party funds (DPK) which are thought to affect the assets under management (AUM) of open-ended mutual funds for the 2020-2024 period. The theoretical foundation discusses three main variabels: AUM of open-ended mutual funds as the dependent variabel, and benchmark interest rates and bank deposits as independent variabels. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods, utilizing monthly secondary data from Bloomberg, Bank Indonesia, and the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Classical assumption tests include normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, followed by the F test, t test, and coefficient of determination (R²) test. The results of the analysis show that the benchmark interest rate has no significant effect on the AUM of open-ended mutual funds partially, while the Third Party Fund of banks has a significant negative effect. Simultaneously, both have an effect on the dependent variabel, with bank Third Party Funds showing greater dominance than the benchmark interest rate in influencing changes in AUM. This study concludes that the strategies of investment managers and regulators need to be directed at strengthening literacy, product innovation, and the synergy of banking-capital market sector policies so that the mutual fund industry can develop more optimally in Indonesia.

Abstract

The background of the research is based on the urgency of strategically managing talent to face the challenges of a dynamic and competitive digital industry. This study aims to analyze the impact of Talent Management dimensions on employee performance at the Internet Service Provider (ISP) company PT XYZ. The research method used is a quantitative approach with explanatory survey techniques. Data were collected through a Likert questionnaire from all active employees (n = 48), with 31 valid respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to test simultaneous and partial effects. The research results show that Talent Management simultaneously does not significantly affect employee performance (p = 0.081). However, partially, two dimensions, namely Performance Management and Organizational Development, actually have a significant but negative effect. These findings indicate a mismatch in the implementation of programs that may lower employee perceptions of performance. Additionally, the dimension of Company Vision, Mission, and Guiding Principles shows a significant positive effect that is approaching significance (p = 0.051), indicating its strategic potential in influencing performance if further optimized. The success of Talent Management is greatly determined by the quality of implementation, employee perception, and the organizational context.
