Abstract

This study aims to determine how Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment affect Employee Performance at the Medan Branch of DSociety Start Up Company. This research employed quantitative research techniques. The population used in this research was employees of the DSociety Medan Branch Start Up Company, with a sample size of 31 respondents. Purposive sampling was used in this research. The data was collected using a questionnaire and a Likert rating. The classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, and SPSS hypothesis testing were used in this research. According to the findings of this research, Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment all have an impact on Employee Effectiveness. Based on the findings of the determination test, it was discovered that the Adjusted R Square value of 0,375 or equals 37.5%, implying that there is a direct correlation between the variables of Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment, and Employee Performance. The R Square value of 0,375 (37,5%) on the independent variables Human Relations, Work Discipline, and Work Environment has a simultaneous impact of 37,5% on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance, while the rest is affected by other variables not examined by this research.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is an outbreak of an infectious disease originating from the SARS-Cov-2 virus. As the virus grows, it causes various problems in various areas of life in society. The impact felt was so real with the cases of high death rates, unstable economy and other problems. The government, which has an obligation to make people's welfare take various policies to overcome this problem. From policy making, surely, it intersects with state finances which will ultimately affect the financial performance of the government itself. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the financial performance of local governments. The method used in writing this article is a qualitative method in the form of a literature review. The data obtained comes from secondary data, namely in the form of indirect retrieval via Google Scholar, Sinta and several articles that support the concept of the theme ranging from 2017-2022. The results of this study show that there have been changes in Indonesia's economic quarter and the regional budget experienced a minus number. Even so, the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic did not have a significant impact on the financial performance of local governments in several regions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Fraudulent acts committed within the scope of agencies, both private and state, need to be avoided. In the village office environment, various efforts have been made to minimize and re-examine the management of village funds, one of which is by implementing an internal control system. This study aimed to know the role of internal control in anticipating the tendency of financial fraud in 9 villages in Citeureup District, Bogor Regency, West Java, regarding Environmental Control, Risk Control, Control Activities, Information and Communication and Monitoring. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Source of data from this research is primary data. Data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires. The analysis technique used in this study includes various stages starting with distributing questionnaires, collecting, categorizing answers, conducting final assessments and classifying respondents' achievements. From research conducted, the findings revealed that the control environment reached 96.67%, risk control reached 100.00%, control activities achieved 85.56%, information and communication achieved 100.00%, performance monitoring achieved 100.00%, where all of these components are categorized as having a very important role in internal control and together the five components also have a yield of 94.61%, these categories play a very important role in internal control and suggesting that there are ethical and behavioral standards, there are internal examiners, there is a separation of duties and responsibilities and there is a safe place to keep money is to avoid misuse of village funds.

Abstract

Competition in the business world is increasing, the magnitude of the challenges and obstacles faced by business actors. Competition in the business world is getting tighter marked by the increasing variety of marketing strategies implemented to maintain its business. The purpose of this research was to analyze the marketing strategy applied by clothing traders in Muntilan Market, Magelang. This study uses the SWOT analysis method to help clothing traders in Muntilan Market increase their competitiveness so they can still compete with similar traders. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative, data collection by interview, observation and literature review. Based on the results of internal and external analysis, clothing traders are in an aggressive position (supporting the strategy). The right strategy is to optimize strengths and take advantage of opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and organizational culture on work loyalty of employees in the field office of PTPN III Kebun Membang Muda. This research is quantitative research with associative methods. The population in this study consisted of 544 employees of PTPN III Kebun Membang Muda field, and the sampling method was purposive sampling with the slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 85 respondents. Primary data was obtained through direct survey distribution, and secondary data was obtained through books, journals and theses related to this research. Validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing were used in this study. According to the findings of this study, leadership style has a considerable impact on work loyalty. Workplace loyalty is positively influenced by organizational culture. Work loyalty is influenced by leadership style and organizational culture. Based on the coefficient of determination in this study, leadership style and organizational culture are able to explain 66.5% of the work loyalty variable. The rest is influenced by additional variables that are not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Sales are important for the sustainability of a business or business, when there is an increase in sales, profits can increase. A transaction or sale occurs when there is an interaction between a seller and a buyer. Conditions within the scope of the business or business competition market are getting tougher, this incident can be seen through several events every day. The purpose of this research is to help the position of Janji Jiwa in Magelang at this time and to know what strategy should be done in the future. The method used in this study is qualitative with SWOT analysis obtained from information sources in the field and from the distribution of questionnaires. In taking the sample using the Lemeshow formula because the population is unknown and infinite, so that in this sampling 100 respondents are needed. The results obtained from the assessment of internal and external factors are used for reference regarding current conditions and positions. From the internal factors obtained the results of 3.744, while the external factors obtained the results of 3.70. The position of Promise Soul is in quadrant 1 (progressive) which means that it has a strong strategy. So that the company has the strength and opportunity to develop the right strategy.

Abstract

Economic development is one of the factors to increase community welfare. Several factors influence growth, including economic growth and poverty. Poverty, in turn, is influenced by several factors such as literacy, inflation, and unemployment. This research aims to examine the factors that influence poverty in Indonesia from 1999-2020. In this study, the data analysis method used is time series data analysis. Time series data analysis refers to a series of values of a variable over a certain period of time. The variables tested in this analysis include regional minimum wage (UMR), economic growth, inflation, as well as the level of unemployment or poverty (number of poor people), as independent variables that influence the analysis results. The study finds that only literacy and inflation rates have a significant effect on poverty in the long and short term, while unemployment does not have an effect on poverty in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the business model of X Grilled Chicken Restaurant in Depok and design a new business model using the Business Model Canvas approach. This research uses the Sequential Exploratory model research method, which consists of qualitative methods as the main method and quantitative as an additional method. Data were collected through interviews, observation, documentation, questionnaires, and triangulation. To describe the current business model, the Business Model Canvas (BMC) method was used, while to formulate alternative strategies, Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat (SWOT) analysis was used. To determine the priority of alternative strategies, the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) was used. The results of the SWOT Analysis resulted in eight alternative strategies, including focusing on Value as fnb tech, continuous digital market research, evaluation of marketing strategies, expansion of business relationships, more attractive promotions, adding new employees, increasing the allocation of marketing costs, and making stricter rules for employees who violate SOPs. Based on the results of the QSPM Matrix calculation, the strategy of continuous digital market research is the highest priority with a value of 13.87.

Abstract

The progress of the tourism sector plays a crucial role in the country's development, and as a result, Travel Bureaus are gaining importance as a support system. These agencies offer tourists invaluable services, but due to the vast potential market, competition is intense. Hence, the objective of this research is to create an appropriate marketing plan that concentrates on Sinar Wihana Wisata Tour & Travel's experience to increase sales volume. According to the findings, the company has implemented effective strategies such as providing various products at different destinations, setting reasonable prices compared to competitors, executing robust promotion schemes, making information accessible to customers, paying attention to employee and tour guide quality, delivering excellent service, and establishing comfortable office facilities. The company's successful strategies include offering diverse product options across various tourist spots, maintaining reasonable prices compared to competitors, deploying aggressive and effective promotion tactics, particularly by leveraging social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Instagram, selecting strategic locations for easy customer access to information, prioritizing excellent customer service, and furnishing offices with comfortable amenities that ultimately boost sales volume.

Abstract

Archive management as archive storage, which is the process of maintaining and securing company records or records, in the success of records management must run on a process that includes classification, creation, receipt, and maintenance of records. This study aims to determine the archive storage system, guidelines for lending archives and obstacles to borrowing archives. This study uses a qualitative method in a descriptive form with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were 4 (four) people using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that there are two archive storage systems in Company X, namely, active archives and inactive archives. Borrowing archives is in accordance with applicable procedures, however, problems in the borrowing of archives still often occur because in the procedure there is no period of time for borrowing archives, this makes employees forget about returning archives and lack of employee awareness of the importance of archives.
