Abstract

Obstacle Limitation Surface was the requirement for air transport safety. Indonesia as Contracting State of United Nation Organization had been formulated this rule by Basic Law on Civil Aviation. The aimed of this research is to analys the implementation of KKOP related to the airport operation and airport development refer to Fatmawati Soekarno Master Plan No. 576 Tahun 2015 tentang Rencana Induk Bandar Udara Fatmawati Soekarno. UU No. 1 Tahun 2009 tentang penerbangan was clearly mentioned that Local Goverment becoming responsible to control and conduct the air space near the airport operation as ilustrated in the Obstacle Limitation Surface in order to make secure the aviation safety and aircraft operation. UU No. 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintah Daerah had been not mentioned yet to accept in the operational activity to control and conduct in this air space that had been entrusted in the part section of UU. No. 1 Tahun 2009 tentang Penerbangan. Furthermore, this research as inputing program to civil aviation regulator and local goverment to make optimum coordination.

Abstract

The Curug Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Cadets have duties on this campus, namely studying and becoming a guard cadet. The guard cadets have the duty to attend the cadets at apples or eat and write the lights in the barracks or in the field. In the field of the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic, Curug has a field for cadets called Perwira Angkasa. In the field there are 4 spotlight poles that are used for lighting the field. Conditions like Taruna. Keeping field lights for Space Officers must go to every panel in the Space Officers field. With the distance between the guard Room and the Space Officer field as far as 2 kilometers. When the weather is unfriendly like rain and darkness, then there cadets have difficulty turning on the lights. With these conditions, the authors will make a props for the controller and monitoring lights via website. Some of the tools used by the author: Wemos D1 Microcontroller, Relay, AC712 Sensor, Logic Level Converter, Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB), and Spotlights. From the results of the props that are made, it can facilitate the task ofcadets to make lamps, besides being useful for developing technology in the Microcontroller and adding knowledge in the Control System course

Abstract

The aim of this study is to uncover three main research questions dealing with the implementation of online quiz. This study was examined and analyzed descriptively by using a questionnaire as a research instrument, with one open-ended item. Results showed that the participants have positive attitudes toward the application. According to them, it is interesting, practicable, and user friendly. In other hand, there are some challenges that need to be coped with. Applying Google Quiz needs more time in preparation, it needs digital tool like computer or hand phone and also limited internet connection will cause the test unrecorded perfectly.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology have a major influence on changes in systems and work tools in an organization. Work facilities supported by modern technology are expected to make it easier and faster in achieving organizational goals. However, in reality it is difficult to achieve what is expected, because any sophisticated means is not the only aspect that can facilitate efforts to achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to complete the safety management system document and change the layout of the sheet metal workshop at PT. Merpati Maintenance Facility Surabaya. The authors found a decrease in the level of safety and efficiency based on the results of field observations. Based on the existing conditions, the author will process the data using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches or HIRAM (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Mitigation) and gap analysis to analyze and process existing data using the HIRAM method which is then followed up by making a new layout. The conclusion of this study is to find the risk of hazards that have a high value so that controls must be carried out to reduce the risk of the hazard to an acceptable level of risk and create a new layout of the sheet metal workshop. Suggestions from the results of this paper are that PT. Merpati Maintenance Facility carries out mitigation measures from the results of this research and makes minimum layout changes as designed by the authors.

Abstract

This research has purpose to knowing the problem will be unavailability VFR corridor for VFR flight in ATC service at Perum LPPNPI branch Aceh. Methode in this research using research and development level one with qualitative approaching and descriptive exposure. Collecting data using literature, documentation and interview. While, methode of data processing are using data reduction, presentation of data, conclusion and verification. Stand with data has collected, VFR flight has no route and it makes the ATC difficult to know the true position of the aircraft due to the route always different in every aircraft and as flow as pilot knowing. Therefore, VFR route draft as a solution.

Abstract

Supadio International Airport is an airport that serves various types of aircraft (Boeing, Airbus, ATR, Hawk, CN259), and does not have a rapid exit taxiway, in its guidance, Perum LPPNPI Pontianak Branch Office enforces rules for Boeing and Airbus-type arrival traffic for backtrack at the end of the runway, but this rule does not apply to aircraft with other types such as ATR and Cessna. This of course creates a time difference to clear the runway for arrival traffic of the Airbus and Boeing types. This study aims to obtain a safe distance between arrival traffic and departure traffic at the Perum LPPNPI Pontianak Branch Office by applying the calculation of The Brazilian Air Navigation Management Center (CGNA) Runway Capacity Calculation by adjusting the current airport conditions. From the research results, it is found that the value of the safe distance between arrival traffic and departure traffic by considering the aircraft classification can produce a more optimal safe distance.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to analyze how much the influence between Implementation of Safety Management System (SMS) towards Service Quality. The research conducted at Perum LPPNPI Gorontalo and Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug. Type of research is quantitative research by means of surveys with a sample of 20 respondents and an error level of 5% to ATC personnel at Perum LPPNPI Gorontalo. The data collection technique used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation followed by regression and t test. This study concludes that there is a positive relationship between the Implementation of the Safety Management System towards Service Quality with a coefficient 0.723 and a coefficient of determination 52.3%, which means that the effect of the Application of the Safety Management System on Service Quality is 52.3% and the rest is determined by other factors outside of this research. With these results, it’s hoped that it can be a source of improving and evaluating the relationship between the Implementation of the Safety Management System towards Service Quality at Perum LPPNPI Gorontalo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) to Air Navigation Services at Perum LPPNPI of Banjarmasin Branch. This study used quantitative analysis in which the data collection method used a questionnaire, analysis of the SMS Gap Analysis Checklist and documentation studies while data processing was carried out by SPSS with a sample of 22 respondents and an error rate of 5% which is addressed to ATC personnel at Perum LPPNPI of Banjarmasin Branch. The SMS Gap Analysis Checklist was filled out by the Manager of Safety, Security and Standardization. The conclusion of this study is it is known that there was a significant relationship and influence between the implementation of SMS on Air Navigation Services with a coefficient value of 0.786 and a coefficient of determination of 62%. SMS Gap Analysis Checklist, the results showed that the SMS Implementation at Perum LPPNPI of Banjarmasin Branch was in stage I, namely SMS implementation planning. The results of the research were expected to be a source in evaluating the implementation of SMS and improving Air Navigation Service at Perum LPPNPI of Banjarmasin Branch.

Abstract

Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta has 97 Air Handling Units (AHU) which are used to condition room temperature. When there is a disconnection or interruption to the power supply, all AHUs must be turned on by visiting the unit. The automatic start and monitoring design using PLC supported by a visual basic program is expected to help the operational effectiveness of AHU. This design has a connection between PLC and PC using wifi, where the monitoring function when operating the AHU unit will be displayed on the monitor and the control function of the AHU unit operation can be done remotely, and is equipped with an automatic start system, namely, when the power supply is cut off and reconnected, AHU can operate immediately without manually activating it.
