Abstract

The key holds the role in the security system. Most of the door lock system still using a mechanic conventional key. The development of technology gives the solution in a key system as a better security system. So, it is needed to use and to optimize the tools that could give best security level in door lock system including convenience and comfort in case of use. one of that security system is using RFID that developed as automatic door lock system. The purpose of this research is to use based on micro controller Arduino nano ATmega 328p and the location at the dormitory door Bravo 1,2,3 to install an automatic door lock tool. Which consists of a mantle of door security that solenoid as an automatic security lock. Identification device consists of RFID Reader and RFID card. Lamp indicator using Light Emitting Diode (LED). When RFID reader reads RFID card, then the LED lamp will turn on and solenoid door lock works and if RFID card is not read in accordance with the microcontroller, LED and solenoid door lock wouldn’t work. With this method it is expected to work as desired

Abstract

Evaporative Cooler (EC) condenser is a process of air cooling that flows across wet surface and evaporate water from that wet surface so the environment air temperature become lower (air cooling). Application of EC on Air Conditioning (AC) Split will lower the environment air temperature that flow to condenser, so it will influence the work of AC Split. This experiment head to know increase in the work of AC Split that used EC and Mist Nozzle that produce fog. The result of the experiment shows that using EC, temperature of the environment air become lower compared to without using EC with the difference 4ºC in temperature, this causes the condenser pressure and evaporator pressure become lower, so the consumption of electrical energy will be lower and the work of AC Split increase to 20%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research gave a picture about a problem in cadets practice in how to controlled aircraft at approach control procedural laboratory with one of the aspect effect is mental picture perspective. Research method used is quantitative method. Research instruments used is questioner and interview to get the data from each cadets about perspective mental picture and the data of ability of each cadets form the grade of approach control procedural examination. The conclusion is mental perspective has effect to the ability of the cadets practice. One of enhancement support in controlled airspace approach control procedural laboratory is mental picture perspective in everyone cadets must be increase

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the apron taxiway at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to the workload of ground control in the aerodrome control tower unit of Perum LPPNPI Denpasar Branch. The method used in this study is descriptive research with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are participatory observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study also used a questionnaire as supporting data to identify the workload of ground control. The data analysis technique used is gap analysis and in depth interviews followed by triangulation techniques to test the credibility of data. The conclusion of this study explain that current apron taxiway configuration has not been able to accommodate the existing traffic load because there are still many delays that occur due to the area being the point of conflict, so that it can increase the workload of ground control. With this result, to improve traffic flow in manoeuvring area and to reduce the workload of ground control, it is necessary to develop rapid exit taxiways that do not deal directly with parking stands and the establishment of clearance delivery units, thereby reducing the level of aircraft delays.

Abstract

Scheduled Air Operator ever face the situation where lack of spare part in the maintenance store. This situation will cause disruption of the aircraft operation and will contribute to delay. Delay will make the on time performance of the airline trend tend to decline. So the operator should has good maintenance system resulting of high reliability of aircraft component. PT. XXX has an Indonesian air operator certificate, operate 8 Boeing 737-400. There is a situation where maintenance store lack of spare part requested by line maintenance. Normally, Spare should be available any time when there is requested from line maintenance. This Spare part component is expensive and need specific time for procurement due to import process take a time. It is need good planning for procurement of the aircraft spare part. In this research will use the reliability method for deciding amount of spare part should be available in the store in one year. It will focus on the brake assembly component. In Boeing 737-400 there is 4 brakes installed on the aircraft.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to uncover there main research questions; how was the immersion program of ICAI conducted to improve English language skills?, How was the view point of the participant in carrying out the program, and how effective was the program to achieve English language skills. This research was analyzed descriptively by using questionnaire, observation, and interview. The results showed that the immersion program was well conducted and gave some improvement in the mastery of English language skills especially speaking skills. The participants also gave a positive point of view that it helped to improve their English expertise. Based on the questionnaire and observation, there are also several other improvements such as teaching techniques mastery, English delivery in content-area teaching and their confidence to use English as a means of communication for their content-area teaching in the classroom. In conclusion, the program has boosted the participants to increase their speaking skill.

Abstract

The activity of checking instrument landing system equipment, one of which is monitoring the beam results using Portable ILS / VOR Receiver (PIR). The design of the microstrip dipole antenna is intended to get a smaller device, because the PIR antenna that has been used so far is a dipole antenna that has a long enough dimension for portable devices. This microstrip antenna is designed on the ILS Glidepath frequency, which is in the frequency range 328.6 MHz to 335.4 MHz. The simulation results of microstrip dipole antenna show good performance and meet specification standards. At the 332 MHz frequency, return loss (S11) is obtained at -25.425 dB, 10 MHz bandwidth, 1.11 VSWR, 50 masukan input impedance, linear polarization, and omnidirectional radiation pattern. While the measurement results obtained are at 332 MHz frequency, return loss (S11) of -20.24 dB, bandwidth of 10 MHz, and VSWR 1.21

Abstract

Apron is used as an airplane parking lot. In addition to parking,the aircraft’s yard is used to refuel,lower passagers,and fill passangers. The planes is on the air sidewhich directly intersects the terminal building,and is also connected by taxiway that lead to the runway. Where the current condition at the apron I Gusti Ngurah Rai International airport bali lighting system are not good because the intensity has not met the intensity standard recommende by ANNEX volume 14. For this reason, airports need to redesign the results of calculations using LED light so that the intensity of the lighting is in accordance with the standars attachments and have a high level of power efficiency
