Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the amount of traffic (flight traffic) on the workload of air traffic guidance (ATCO) in Jakarta Lower Control North. There is a positive relationship between the amount of traffic to the workload of Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in Jakarta Lower Control North with a correlation coefficient of 0.859 and a coefficient of determination of 74%, which means that the effect of the amount of traffic on the workload of the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) in Jakarta Lower Control North is 74%, so to reduce the workload of air traffic guidance (ATCO), the Airnav Indonesia management at JATSC is sectoralization to reduce the amount of traffic that must be controlled in the Jakarta Lower Control North sector. The sector is named the Jakarta Lower Control West sector to divide the workload of air traffic guidance (ATCO) in Jakarta Lower Control North, or impose slot time distribution in accordance with the maximum capability of Airspace and ATCO especially in the Jakarta Lower Control North sector.

Abstract

Arrangements for Helicopters in Aprons and the availability of adequate facilities is one of the supporting factors in providing the best service. In its implementation, during conducting research at the General Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang, the author saw the conditions at the Parking Stand N1 in the Apron still not in accordance with their functions and uses. The unavailability of a helicopter stand to place a helicopter so that the helicopter placement process is still tandemed in the Parking Stand for Fix Wings and the unavailability of the helicopter stand markers has an impact on Marshallers who do not know the helicopter placement limit, do not have calculations that will also impact on objects around the Parking Stand . The problems that occur this of course causes not well ordered Helicopter parked tandem with a fix wing. The unavailability of Helipad or Helicopter Stand is less than optimal, so that it greatly affects the security and safety of airport service users

Abstract

At this time KWH meter as a subject of learning in instrumentation and measurement courses is still lacking as a means of learning practice. This tool is designed to measure electrical energy utilizing a microcontroller, current sensor, and voltage sensor, functioned to process all data parameters to get the value of electrical energy consumption, and can display measurement results on a computer through the RS-485 serial cable and Microsoft Visual program Studio for electrical energy monitors. In the tests carried out, it is known that the results of measurements of electrical energy consumption by comparing calculations and tool designs have an error value of 0.9% - 8.77%, the calculation error is caused by the instability of the power supply that becomes the ADC reference voltage, this design can send usage data electrical energy and costs to be paid on a computer through the Microsoft Visual Studio program.

Abstract

Jakarta Air Traffic Service Center (JATSC) is one of the air traffic service centers in Indonesia which handles the densest air space in Indonesia. JATSC is the center of air traffic control in the western airspace of Indonesia and oversees the other airspace. Increasing the amount of traffic will increase the workload of air traffic guides in providing air traffic services. Increased workload can affect the physical condition of an air traffic guide which allows human error to occur. One of the human factors that can reduce the performance of ATC in making decisions is fatigue. The study concluded that there is a negative relationship between fatigue and performance with a correlation coefficient of (-) 0.650 and a coefficient of determination of 42% means that fatigue has a strong and significant effect on the performance of ATC personnel and the rest is influenced by other factors. Steps that can be taken to prevent and reduce the risk of fatigue are the need for special attention to the preparation of official schedules and special training on Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) on meditation and relaxation that is expected to be applied in everyday life

Abstract

Chlorinator is processing a chlorine solution (mix chlorine with water) and the solution will be injected using dosing pumps into clean water that will be distributed throughout the Soekarno-Hatta airport. In this design the automatic control chlorinator system using a microcontroller arduino uno (ATmega 328P). To drain the chlorine into the measuring tube using a solenoid valve that works automatically stop working when a small float in the measuring tube reaches the maximum limit. Then to keep the solution in the tank from being discharged chlorinator uses a float sensor. Sensor buoys will work to enable the water pump and solenoid valve when the volume of the solution under 260 liters

Abstract

Along with the increasing movement of aircraft in Surabaya Juanda International Airport Terminal 1, the demand for garbarata services as a facility provided for service users has increased. Therefore the Apron Movement Control unit must carry out its two functions both the service function and the air side supervision optimally. This research was compiled based on observations regarding the task description of the Apron Movement Control unit under the Air Side Operations Department in the implementation of the service and supervision functions. The AMC unit in carrying out its job descriptions is more focused on the service function, especially the garbarata service. This has an impact on the oversight function by the AMC unit that is not running optimally so that it affects the violations in the air side. By fulfilling the needs of AMC Terminal 1 human resources, the division of work areas, and the application of strict sanctions are expected to make both AMC unit functions run optimally and minimize the level of violations to ensure the security and safety of flight operations at Juanda International Airport, Surabaya

Abstract

The objektive of research to know and inspect connecting withthe safety and safety of flights at Adi Soemarmo International Airport is still found a variety of distractions that are there land boundaries or territories that are under the supervision of the airport. This limit is one that limits the area of aircraft movement, as well as air navigation equipment facilities and other important installations of all obstacles (obstacle) that can harm flight safety. Abstract

This study aims to determine and obtain the amount of APP / TMA Palembang airspace capacity after RNAV-1 is applied. This research was carried out at the LPPNPI Public Corporation Palembang Branch in March to April 2019. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. Data collection techniques used are structured observations with the results of the data obtained in the form of the amount of traffic and the total workload of ATC for one hour during peak hours, and literature studies that contain data on the calculation of airspace capacity before the application of RNAV-1 and monthly traffic data. The analysis technique used is to use parametric statistics with the SPSS application in the form of a simple linear regression between the amount of traffic and the total workload of ATC to get the results of airspace capacity after the application of RNAV-1. Before the application of RNAV-1 the airspace capacity had been calculated by the ATFM unit with the result that the airspace capacity in one hour was 16 traffic / hour. After research and analysis, after the application of RNAV-1 there was an increase in the amount of airspace APP / TMA Palembang to 18 traffic / hour. The increase in airspace capacity after the application of RNAV-1 is 12.5%. With these results, the application of RNAV-1 needs continuous implementation.

Abstract

In maintenance process of Airbus Helicopter EC-135 P3 based on Master Servicing Manual there are several type of maintenance procedure which there are tasks like leakage test hydraulic power supply, pressure test, and bleeding. One of the tools used on this task is external pump drive. During this time the implementation of maintenance using tools from Airbus Helicopter Indonesia and there are some deficiency that is rotating speed does not reach 5145 rpm as needed hydraulic power system. Therefore, then the writer will modify the tool which has a rotating speed of 5145 rpm. General description for consideration external pump drive, the writer want to use a timing belt transmission system by utilizing accuracy when turning. The modification design stage that was undertaken was first determining the driving motor proceed with designing the timing belt, the third stage is making the internal gear drive the drive shaft, followed by the stages of making the timing belt transmission housing and determining the bearings. The results of this modification are expected to be beneficial for STPI especially Unit Perawatan Pesawat Udara to assists the process of leakage test, pressure test, and bleeding in the hydraulic power system

Abstract

Announcement is a statement in oral or written form that contains information for many to know. In giving announcements of cadets in charge there are still many mistakes, therefore an application program that can make it easier for cadets in charge to provide daily service provision information at the STPI is needed. The design of this application program aims to provide suggestions in the form of announcement for cadets through the text to speech public address system application by using the Sublime Text 3 and the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language which are expected to help cadets in charge and can reduce errors that often occur.This application program can be implemented at the cadets office to improve the service of providing information on retention without reducing the learning available for cadets of the STPI Curug
