Abstract

The Aircraft Maintenance Unit does not yet know how much the Safety Culture and Safety Management System has been built. This study aims to examine the implementation of Safety Culture, the implementation of the Safety Management System, and the effect of Safety Culture on the Safety Management System. This quantitative study obtained data from questionnaires, observations and documentation. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was concluded that the Safety Culture condition was in the good category (82.5%) and the Safety Management System was in the good category (82.75%). The gap analysis data shows that the achievement of Safety Management System implementation reached 79.58%. Safety Culture and Safety Management System have a strong relationship level (0.7694). Safety Culture contributed 59.19%

Abstract

The high movement of aircraft at the International Airport I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, Is not yet balanced with the air equipped with adequate especially in the apron caused mobilization did not go well. It underlies the need of expansion apron north to fulfill plane capacity to operate. This needs to be planned expansion of an apron north by using the method of FAA (manual and software) and method of forecasting. According to analysis and the results then the planned expansion of the apron dimension is 64.677,72 m² for the addition of 4 parking stands by increasing specification of aircraft operating into aircraft 4E and 4C category. A thick slab of concrete that is obtained will be used of 52.07 cm concrete quality K-400, 25.4 cm subbase thickness and subgrade CBR amounted to 6%

Abstract

The condition of the inspection road at Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang currently only has inspection roads on the west side of runway 13 with an inadequate width of road to be passed by inspection vehicles and the absence of inspection roads in the east side of the runway 31. New road inspection planning is needed on the east side of runway 31 using a flexible pavement type with Component Analysis calculation method and geometric planning of the road using the rules for the Procedure for Inter-City Road Geometric Planning No.038 / TBM / 1997. From the results of the calculation analysis, the thickness of the road for the age of 10 years 34.125cm with surface layer 4.125cm, basecourse layer 20cm and subbase layer 10cm. The thickness of the planned 20 year old road 35.50cm with a layer surface 5.5cm, the basecourse layer 20cm and the subbase layer 10cm. The plan speed is 60km/h, the road length is 1903m and the road width is 2 x 2.75m (5.5m) consisting of 2 2-way lanes. Transverse slope of 2%, road shoulder 3% and width of drainage channel 0.5m. For the results of road geometric planning, the road inspection conditions at Ahmad Yani International Airport Semarang currently only have inspection roads on the west side of runway 13 with 5 bends with Spiral - Spiral and Spiral - Circle - Spiral types with widening at each bend of 3.17m.

Abstract

In its relation with the Human Resources aspect Development Agency of Human Resources Development of Transportation, has strategic role in supervising the human resources of transportation, include in it supervision on the personnel or human resources performers of the activities in the implementation and service in the area of transportation, whether managerially as well as operational technique. Education and training for Development of Human Resources of Transportation is very important because it will help the procurement and update of the knowledge and skills of the employees in accordance with the competency standard needed. Therefore it is expected the transportation service level to the public in the future will be higher. The purpose of this Paper writing is to obtain an educational design and training related to the Development Strategy of Transportation Human Resources, it is expected to be able to support the activity of Economic, Social, Culture, Security Defense and Politic through its role to what extent in the area of transportation needed in Indonesia as well as international market currently and in the future in accordance with the competency standard/ skills needed. The objective is to prepare a design in the form of framework and structure which are able to identify and to provide Education and Training about the Strategy of Human Resources Development of Transportation.

Abstract

Entry and exit draft access of MPS (Main Power Station) is intended as an alternative to provide security and facilitate the work of technicians in airport services especially in Soekarno – Hatta International Airport. The problem now days is the person who is not licensed can get in and out easily in the MPS building and if the technicians carry goods because of difficult and the stuck of the door when opening or closing. This design consists of Microcontroller that used as RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) control or identity identifier and automatic door system. This design is expected to be used properly as expected and can help the technician in performing his works as one of the supporters of fluency and comfort at the Soekarno – Hatta International Airport.

Abstract

The development of transportation human resources requires a strategy that can maximize the potential of professional and competent human resources to support the implementation of national transportation system. This is done so that move the Wheels of national economy towards the realization of equiTabel distribution of sectoral development throughout Indonesia in accordance with national goals. This research method using qualitative analysis method to secondary and primary data in the form of HR data of Transportation and interview. The results 'of the study on Human Resource Development Strategy Transportation found that during the implementation of human resources development strategy has not been appropriate, so the availability of professional and competent human resources transportation has not been fulfilled in a sufficiently and flexible, evenly throughout the tenitory of the ground that affordable transpogation network both land, sea, air and rail. In the result of this study provide suggestions necessary to apply the Strategy of Human Resource Development proper so that the potential of human resources Transport is able to be distributed evenly through more comprehensive and sustainable human resources planning

Abstract

Teacher and student of English as a second or foreign language (ESL/EFL) feel quite difficult to understand conditional sentence in learning process. Therefore, there is necessity to change the method or technique in teaching this subject. This study attempts to analyse alternative method on teaching conditional sentence called as discourseoriented teaching. Therefore, it was suitable in this study to use discourse analysis which deal with context of an utterance. The case was a teaching learning process in class of aircraft maintenance program which concern on giving and understanding English verbal instruction on their career. This study found that discourse-oriented teaching could be an alternative method on teaching conditional sentence. It may require a great effort for the teacher to give contextual explanation for each type of conditional sentence, but it is effective for student to understand the usage of each type of conditional sentence in workplace.

Abstract

The final objective of this design is to optimize the curing process in the manufacture and repair of composite panel for interchanges curing process using a heat gun, because by using a heat gun the curing process is not optimal. The design focuses on making the furnace only on the other parts are designed on other designs. The goal that must be achieved is to make optimal heat distribution in the furnace. Tests carried out to get all the components that did not change the shape during the composite curing process that occurred, components that did not change from the shape received, and the length of expansion of the work-piece within the specified range. Will there be one criterion which has not yet been agreed upon, the top surface of the furnace wall is 41.7 ℃ causes the surface of the upper wall to pass through a predetermined range affecting the buoyancy force which causes the air density to decrease and hot air as it moves upward. This is what causes heat transfer to the surface which is higher than the other sides

Abstract

This research aims to get an idea of whether there are impact between air traffic controller performances with taxi out delay in Soekarno – Hatta International Airport Tangerang Banten. The method used is quantitative research method. It can be inferred from the research that there was a negative relationship between air traffic controller performance with taxi out delay as big as 0,831. A negative correlation indicates that the better the performance of air traffic controller, the fewer aircraft is affected by delay at departure. Determination coefficient is at 70%, which means that the impact of air traffic controller performance toward taxi out delay is 70% and the rest is determined by other factors not included in the research section. The equation obtained from the regression test is Y = 1932,396 – 26,561 X. So, if the ATC performance level rises by 1, then taxi out delay will decrease by 26,561 in the contant 1932,396, it is necessary to disseminate information to aerodrome control tower officers to improve and maintain performance, regularly evaluate aerodrome control tower performance, conduct training or refresh courses for ATC personnel, optimize flight time slot settings and implementing ground delay program to reduce delay.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the formation of the ground control sector in the Tower unit at Indonesian Air Navigation Service Provider Semarang Branch Office. The method used is a research and development method. The data analysis technique used is to use qualitative data analysis where the authors perform data reduction, data presentation and verification to produce a ground control sector design in the form of a tower cabin layout and the concept of operations followed by an expert or expert test. The study concludes that there is a problem in the Semarang Tower unit that is often the occurrence of load communication in the provision of flight traffic services caused by increased traffic, hourly movements that have exceeded runway capacity and complex airport layouts, it is necessary to open a new sector in the Tower unit, namely the ground control sector to reduce the delay due to load communication. In opening the ground control sector, it is necessary to develop an operational concept as a guideline in the operation, so that the activities of opening the ground control sector run clearly from shadow operation to full operation.
