Abstract

Klaten Regency is a food production area designated by the Province of Central Java. Livestock farming has the potential to be developed to improve the community's economy. Inadequate feed nutrient requirements have an impact on low livestock productivity. Farmers will also incur additional costs for feed procurement, which increases production costs and tends to be detrimental to farmers. The empowerment program aims to disseminate concentrate feed technology with the addition of Rumen Undegradable Nutrients (RUNs) supplements to the Kadilanggon Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Wedi District, Klaten Regency. Rumen Undegradable Nutrients is a feed supplement technology that contains fat protection and protected amino acids (lysine and methionine) to increase livestock productivity. The implementation process consisted of 1) socialization of the program implementation plan, 2) training in the production of RUNs supplements, 3) production of concentrate feed with the addition of RUNs supplements, 4) testing of concentrate feed on livestock, and 5) monitoring and evaluation of program implementation. The empowerment program has increased the knowledge and skills of livestock group members regarding feed and concentrate production methods using RUNs feed supplement technology. Additionally, the developed feed factory has generated economic value and provided employment opportunities.

Abstract

Agricultural and livestock businesses need development towards a better direction. One of the potentials for developing livestock and agricultural businesses is found in Kudi Village, Wonogiri Regency. This area faces challenges such as extreme poverty, susceptibility to landslides, and drought due to its topographical conditions. This program focuses on empowering two main partners, namely Gapoktan Kudi Makmur in the agricultural sector. Situation analysis identified a number of priority issues, including: the cashew processing production process, which is still manual, unhygienic, and high-risk; limited market access and the absence of product standardization. The implementation of community service activities adopts a sequential five-stage methodology, namely socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, as well as institutional strengthening to ensure sustainability. Monitoring and evaluation results show significant progress. Notable achievements that have been realized include improvements in the quality and quantity of cashews, the establishment of the 'Kudiro' product brand, increased production capacity, and the diversification of processed cashew products. The conclusion of this community service activity is that an integrative approach combining technology transfer, human resource capacity building, and institutional strengthening has proven effective in creating a sustainable impact. This community service program provides solutions to technical problems at the production level and builds a cashew agricultural economic ecosystem.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem that has long-term impacts on a child's physical and cognitive development. The Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) and the Indonesian Health Survey (SKI) reported that the incidence rate of stunting in Banda Aceh in 2023 was 21.7% (Diskominfo Banda Aceh, 2024). This prevalence rate has decreased compared to the previous year, but the achievement in 2024 still does not meet the target set by the Aceh government, which is 14% (Aceh Social Service, 2024). This highlights the urgency of this activity. The goal of the service is to provide direct and interactive education to the community and to enhance the capacity of posyandu counselors through training, as well as to conduct technology transfer in the form of modules and educational videos about stunting. This service has carried out technology transfer in the form of modules and educational videos about stunting, which are used in training health post counselors with the aim of increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres in educating the community. The measurement results show that training and technology transfer in the form of modules and educational videos increased the knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of cadres and the community (p<0.05). Strengthening the implementation of this service needs to be carried out through improvements in posyandu procedures and regular monitoring and evaluation. Replication of this service can also be implemented to support program expansion and sustainability.

Abstract

Digital education plays a crucial role in the modern era, along with the rapid advancement of technology and the need for digital competencies in various sectors. In Lombok, educational challenges include limited internet access, lack of online learning infrastructure, low quality and competence of teachers in the use of digital media, and lack of continuous training. To answer these problems, Telkomsel initiated the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program through the Skul.id application with the main goal of improving access and quality of digital education, as well as empowering teachers and students on the island of Lombok. The method of implementing community service includes intensive training for teachers on the use of Skul.id platforms, technical and pedagogical assistance, provision of hardware and connectivity, and periodic monitoring and evaluation to ensure sustainability. It is hoped that this program can improve students' literacy and digital skills, improve teachers' teaching methods, and create a learning ecosystem that is inclusive and adaptive to technological developments. Potential impacts include increasing learning motivation, equitable distribution of educational opportunities, and strengthening collaboration between schools, communities, and the digital industry. The success of this program is also expected to be a replication model for similar initiatives in other regions of Indonesia.
