Abstract

Intense business competition and dynamic environments challenge construction firms to sustain financial performance through effective operational management. This study examines the influence of supplier performance, innovation and learning, and operational performance on financial performance mediated by customer satisfaction in West Jakarta construction companies. Quantitative research with causal design was conducted using purposive sampling of 175 employees and managers, surveyed via a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis employed SPSS for descriptives and AMOS for Structural Equation Modeling to test direct and mediation effects. Results reveal supplier performance significantly affects innovation-learning, operational performance, and customer satisfaction but not directly financial performance. Innovation-learning positively influences all variables including financial performance, while operational performance impacts only customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction fully mediates the relationship between all three operational factors and financial performance, with all variables showing positive perceptions (means >3.79). In conclusion, customer satisfaction serves as the critical mechanism linking operational excellence to financial success, emphasizing customer-centric strategies over internal efficiency alone.

Abstract

The inactivity of cooperatives constitutes a significant legal issue, particularly in relation to the accountability of cooperative management. Although an inactive cooperative no longer conducts business activities, it legally remains a corporate entity as long as its dissolution has not been formally executed in accordance with statutory provisions. This condition creates legal uncertainty, as cooperatives are expected to continuously perform their economic and social functions. This study aims to analyze the legal implications of cooperative inactivity on the liability of cooperative managers and to examine the role of the Department of Trade and Cooperatives for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Labuhanbatu Utara Regency in supervising and fostering inactive cooperatives. The research employs a normative juridical method supported by empirical data, obtained through document analysis and interviews, and analyzed qualitatively. The findings indicate that the inactive status of a cooperative does not eliminate the legal and civil liability of its management. Cooperative managers remain responsible for the management and administration of the cooperative as stipulated in Articles 31 and 34 of Law Number 25 of 1992 on Cooperatives, particularly when losses arise due to negligence or intentional misconduct. Furthermore, the Department of Trade and Cooperatives for MSMEs plays a strategic role through guidance, supervision, governance assistance, capacity building for managers, and periodic monitoring and evaluation. These efforts aim to encourage cooperative revitalization or, where necessary, lawful dissolution to ensure legal certainty, protect members and third parties, and promote sustainable cooperative development.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and implementation dynamics of the Taqwa Curriculum Model within the context of Islamic homeschooling. The research was conducted at Tahfidz Homeschooling Sulaiman Baladil Huffaadz Elementary School in Bandung over a period of 61 days, utilizing a qualitative case study approach. A total of 17 participants, selected from among teachers and students, were involved in semi-structured interviews. Data were analyzed using a six-step thematic analysis technique. The results indicate that the Taqwa Curriculum Model effectively integrates Al-Qur’an memorization with religious understanding and student character development, which is significantly mediated by active parental involvement through daily Muraja’ah practices. Theoretically, these findings reinforce the concept of Fitrah-based education and the repositioning of the family as the primary educational unit. Practically, the implications emphasize the importance of a supportive learning ecosystem and humanist evaluation methods. Policy recommendations are directed toward the formal recognition of value-based curriculum quality standards within informal education pathways and the provision of structured pedagogical guidelines for parents to ensure the sustained quality of national Islamic education. Further research employing quasi-experimental or longitudinal approaches is recommended to obtain more robust evidence regarding the effectiveness of the Taqwa Curriculum Model.

Broadcasting is an important means in social, national, and state life, which functions to disseminate important information to the public. Freedom to obtain information is part of human rights regulated in Law Number 32 of 2002 concerning Broadcasting. Based on this law, there are criminal provisions that regulate the implementation of broadcasting without a permit, where violations can be subject to criminal sanctions. Article 58 letter b and Article 33 paragraph (1) regulate that broadcasting institutions are required to obtain a permit to organize broadcasts. This crime is often referred to as organizing broadcasting activities without a permit. The practice of abuse by business actors who run cable television businesses without a permit for personal gain still often occurs, this study will examine violations of economic rights to broadcasting rights committed by business actors that cause material losses to the owner of broadcasting rights which has been decided by the Jayapura District Court with decision number 510 / Pid.Sus / 2020 / PN Jap.

Abstract

Land fraud involving certified ownership titles poses significant threats to legal certainty in Indonesia, with cases surging from 4,000 in 2021 to nearly 8,000 in 2025 per Ministry of ATR/BPN data. Enforcement under Article 378 of the Criminal Code prioritizes imprisonment over victim restitution, as evident in High Court Decision No. 873/Pid/2021/PT SBY, leaving victims without full recovery. This study aims to analyze legal certainty for victims of certified land sale fraud and propose restorative justice enhancements. It employs normative juridical research with statutory, case, and conceptual approaches. The population comprises relevant laws, doctrines, and court decisions; purposive sampling selects the aforementioned decision, KUHP Article 378, KUHAP Article 98, and supporting literature. Primary data from regulations and secondary from books/journals are analyzed qualitatively via description, classification, and legal syllogism. Findings reveal inadequate restitution integration, resulting in partial justice and prison overcrowding. In conclusion, restitution should be mandated as principal punishment in property crimes to balance retribution and restoration.

Abstract

The curator must be responsible for any errors or negligence in carrying out management and/or settlement obligations that cause losses or reduction in the value of bankrupt assets. Therefore, the curator will take over legal cases concerning the assets of the bankrupt debtor, in accordance with the provisions of Article 26 paragraph (1) of Law No. 37 of 2004 concerning Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations. The objectives of this thesis include analyzing the legal consequences of the transfer of rights based on the PPJB which are then converted into shares, analyzing the legal status of ownership of bankrupt assets originating from the PPJB converted into shares, and analyzing the judge's considerations in the District Court decision No. 29/Pdt.SUS-GLL/2022/PN.Niaga.Jkt.Pst. The type of research used is Normative Legal Research. Normative legal research is carried out using a statute approach and a case approach. The data sources used are Primary Legal Materials (written rules enforced by the state), Secondary Legal Materials (materials in the form of legal reviews), and Tertiary Legal Materials (materials that support both primary and secondary legal materials). Data collection techniques are through literature studies of legal materials (rechtsmaterialen) and field research through direct interviews with; Commercial Judges of the Medan District Court, Curators, and Notaries. The results of this thesis research can be concluded firstly that PPJB should not be convertible into PT shares because the PPJB has not yet had a physical and juridical handover. Secondly, the curator will represent the bankrupt debtor in all matters related to the settlement and management of bankrupt assets, including representing the bankrupt debtor in every lawsuit filed either by or against third parties for and on behalf of the bankrupt debtor. The judge's three considerations in the decision were to sentence and order the Defendant (Curator) to remove the plaintiff's immovable assets from the Bankruptcy Asset List, as well as to remove them from all documents related to the bankrupt assets (budel) and to declare that the Curator had committed an Unlawful Act (PMH).

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of QR Code–assisted Problem Based Learning (PBL) in social studies (IPS) and examines how it supports the development of ninth-grade students’ critical thinking skills at SMP Negeri 6 Semarang. Using a descriptive qualitative design, the study involved an IPS teacher and Grade IX students. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed via data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Credibility was strengthened through source and technique triangulation. Findings show that the learning process followed five PBL stages: problem orientation, organizing students, investigation, developing and presenting solutions, and evaluation/reflection. QR Codes enabled quick access to digital worksheets, curated learning resources, and Padlet for collaborative reporting, which increased engagement and facilitated evidence-based discussion. Students demonstrated stronger critical thinking through (1) analyzing authentic case studies, (2) constructing logical arguments, and (3) evaluating public policies using relevant indicators of development. Supporting factors included the teacher’s facilitative role, a collaborative classroom climate, and meaningful integration of digital media. Constraints involved limited instructional time, uneven literacy levels, and unstable internet connectivity. Overall, QR Code–assisted PBL is effective for creating contextual IPS learning and fostering 21st-century critical thinking skills.
