JASSI Anakku promotes research in the broad field of special need education. science, and Engineering Education. with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region. Contributions are expected from senior researchers, project managers, research administrators and PhD students at advanced stages of their research, representing both public organizations and private industry. Equally, the journal if intended for scholars and students, reseachers working at research organizations and government agencies, and also for enterprises undertaking applied R and D to lead innovations. The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include: Theoretical articles Empirical studies Practice-oriented papers Case studies Review of papers, books, and resources. As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journals style. The below mentioned areas are just indicative. The editorial board also welcomes innovative articles that redefine any Children with Special Needs field. This study aims to determine the effect of adaptive athletics on the sublimation of non¬verbal aggressive behavior in children with emotional and behavioral disorders at SLB Bhina Putera Surakarta. This research needs to be done because non-verbal aggressive behavior is a destructive behavior that interferes with the child's learning process so that the child will have difficulty following the learning. This research is an experimental study using the Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The research design used is the A-B-A 'design. The research subject is a child with emotional and behavioral disorder in sixth grade at SLB Bhina Putera. Collecting data by conducting observation on students using non-verbal aggressive behavior instruments. Then the data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistics and displayed in graphs and tables. The components analyzed in this study were the analysis in conditions and between conditions. The results showed that there was a positive influence on the sublimation of children's non-verbal aggressive behavior after being intervened with adaptive athletics. The positive effect is indicated by an decrease in the mean level of the three phases. Starting from the baseline-1 phase (A1) with a mean level of 95,3%, the intervention phase (B) of 77,4%, and the baseline-2 phase (A2) of 52,7%. Then, the magnitude of the effect of intervention using adaptive athletics can be seen from the percentage overlap. The smaller the overlap percentage, the better the intervention effect. The result of overlap percentage is 11.1%. Thus, adaptive athletics influenced the sublimation of children's non-verbal aggressive behavior in SLB Bhina Putera by 88.9%.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan seorang siswi tunagrahita ringan kelas VII yang belum mampu menghias diri secara mandiri. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh pembelajaran bina diri khususnya pada aspek menghias diri belum menggunakan media yang tepat. Selain itu, di tengah kondisi pandemik covid-19 sulit untuk guru melakukan pembelajaran dengan efektif sehingga peran keluarga dibutuhkan untuk membantu pembelajaran siswa di rumah. Bertitik tolak dari latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video tutorial untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menghias diri siswi tunagrahita. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan pendekatan Subject Single Research dan menggunakan desain A-B-A dimana terdapat dua kondisi kontrol (baseline) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan dan analisis data, ditemukan peningkatkan keterampilan menghias diri setelah diberikan intervensi. Maka dari itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa media video tutorial efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menghias diri pada siswi tunagrahita. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepada pendidik, orangtua maupun peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat menggunakan media video tutorial untuk pembelajaran bina diri lainnya.

The role of parents is needed when students with special needs study from home. However, when accompanying children to learn online, parents find it difficult due to various factors. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to analyze how difficult it is for parents to accompany elementary school children with special needs during online learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with the population and the research sample are parents of elementary school students as many as 20 people. The data collection technique used in this research is a survey in the form of a questionnaire, observation notes, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that in general the obstacles for parents in assisting children with special needs to study online at home during the Covid-19 pandemic are the lack of understanding of the material by parents, the difficulty of parents in growing their children's interest in learning, not having enough time to accompany their children because they have to work, parents are impatient in accompanying children while studying at home, parents have difficulties in operating gadgets, and obstacles related to internet service coverage.

Alat ukur tes yang baik adalah yang memenuhi syarat-syarat penyusunan tes yakni adanya pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun sebuah instrumen bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif bagi anak tunarungu. Penyusunan instrumen ini diadapatasi dari instrumen TOLD-P atau test of language yang dimodifikasi dengan mengggunakan bahasa Indonesia dan dibuat lebih sederhana yang terdiri dari picture vocabulary (kosakata gambar), oral vocabulary (kosakata lisan), dan analysis fonem (analisis fonem). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen pre-xxperimental design dengan jenis one group postes. Hasil dari validitas isi penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai CVR 0 yakni,1, sedangkan reliabilitas stabilitas sebesar 0,941 yang artinya tergolong reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Instrumen tes yang disusun peneliti telah memenuhi syarat tes yang baik. Dengan demikian instrumen tes sudah dapat digunakan meskipun untuk kalangan terbatas. Hal ini disebabkan instrument tes masih berupa draf awal belum diujicobakan untuk kalangan yang luas, sehingga instrument belum standard dan perlu distandarisasikan.

Seeing the difficulties faced by parents in guiding their children to study at home, especially children with special needs, parenting education is an effort to increase parents' knowledge about the guidance of children with special needs studying at home is very important. It aims to provide solutions to the various problems experienced by parents so that they are able to carry out their role in guiding children with special needs to study well at home. The subjects of this study were parents of students from a school in West Java. The activity carried out was the provision of material on guiding children with special needs to study at home through whatsapp media which was presented in the form of microblogs and PDFs. The conclusion of this study is that parents gain new knowledge about guiding children with special needs to study at home.

This research based on the presence of mentally retarded students who feel afraid of water. The purpose of this study was to determine learning swimming sports to reduce student fear. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method. The research data was obtained through a questionnaire using saturated sampling technique because the number of respondents was less than 30 people. The validity test in this study used the product moment formula with r hit r tab (0.352), there were 13 valid items. Reliability test using Cronbach's alpha formula with reliability results of (0.793). Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. The results obtained indicate that the response of parents to the research questions is acceptable (positive) with a percentage of (68%). There are obstacles that occur, namely the fearful behavior of students shown during the learning process. However, due to the efforts of students and the solution from the teacher, namely by implementing the introduction of water, students' courage can be formed. It can be concluded that learning swimming sports which is implemented goes well.

Anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku kurang mampu untuk kerja sama karena menganggap teman lainnya adalah musuh dan dia harus menguasai semuanya. Dampaknya, anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku kurang aktif mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Peneliti mengunakan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bekerja sama anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku di SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan design one group pre-test post-test. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada enam orang anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku kelas VI SDLB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan perolehan skor post-test dibandingkan dengan perolehan skor pre-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka peneliti merekomendasikan strategi pembelajaran Think Pair Share sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bekerja sama anak dengan hambatan emosi dan perilaku.

Low vision learners experience obstacles in reading the writing of caution, this happens also to one of the students who are in SLBN A pajajaran Bandung. With this condition, research creates a plan that aims to improve the ability to read it. In this thesis, researchers tested reading aids to determine the effect of using portable reading lights on improving the reading ability of low vision learners. Research using quantitative approach with Single Subject Research (SSR) method. The design used is A-B design. The subject of the study was a visually impaired student in grade 11 at SLBN A Pajajaran Bandung. Data collection by conducting tests to learners using advanced reading instruments. The data obtained is analyzed through descriptive statistics and displayed in the form of graphs and tables. The results showed a positive influence on improving the ability to read the writing after being given a portable reading light. This can be seen with a stable value at the time of intervention, as well as an increase in the middle value (mean) that is when the baseline phase has a middle value of 27.5% ¬and in the intervention phase has a middle value of 81.25%. The influence can also be seen from the percentage of overlap. The percentage of overlap between the baseline condition and the intervention phase is 0, which means that the smaller the percentage of overlap, the better the effect of the intervention. Based on the data obtained, the researchers concluded that portable reading lamps can be used for low vision learners who have difficulty reading in low light conditions. Thus, researchers recommend to the school and teachers to provide portable reading light aids to low vision learners to support in learning activities, especially reading writings.

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembimbing asrama dalam meningkatkan kemandirian khususnya kemandirian nilai para peserta didik tunanetra yang memasuki usia remaja. Kemadirian nilai merupakan kemampuan memaknai seperangkat prinsip tentang benar dan salah, tentang apa yang penting dan apa yang tidak penting. Melalui pembimbing asrama yang menggantikan orang tua mereka, peserta didik di Asrama SLBN A Citeureup Cimahi diberi pelatihan untuk mentaati peraturan yang ada diasrama agar para peserta didik disiplin dan bertanggung jawab. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan observasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua orang pembimbing asrama dan peserta didik tunanetra yang berusia remaja 14-15 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembimbing asrama menyusun pembuatan program sampai pelaksanaannya dengan membuat peraturan yang disepakati oleh semua peserta didik tunanetra yang berasrama. Pembimbing asrama SLBN A Citeureup Cimahi mampu menghadapi dan mengupayakan permasalahan yang mempengaruhi kemandirian mereka, salah satunya dengan menjaga hubungan komunikasi, tidak dengan kekerasan dan selalu menerapkan sanksi yang telah disepakati.
