Abstract

AbstrackThis background of this study were unsatisfying achievement and lack of motivation. The purpose of this study were 1) to determine whether there was a significant  difference of achievement and students? motivation, also to know how big the influence of giving Positive  feedback toward the motivation between student taught using positive feedback, and 2) to determine the effect size of positive feedback toward students? achievement and motivationand of Chemistry  student grade eleventh SMA Panca Bhakti Pontianak in subject ?Solubility and Solubility Product?. Nonequivalent Control Group Design was applied as of research design.  Tools for collecting data used was a test of achievement, questionnaire, interview guidelines, and observation sheet. According to data analysis using spss, probability values were 0.000 and 0.000. which meant if there were significant differences of students? achievement and motivation respectively between experimental and control classes. The Effect Sizes of learning with positive feedback toward students achievement and motivation were 1,1 and 1,2 respectively. These calculation indicated that learning with positive feedback had high effect on students? achievement and motivation.  Keywords:  Positive Feedback, Learning motivation, Learning result, Solubility and solubility product constant

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research is to know the uniqueness that exist in Jepin Tembung Short Dance in Pontianak city of West Kalimantan. The purpose of this study is to describe the background of the creation of dance and the structure of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance with images to be clear and analyze the motion in each presentation of dance in order to be clearly understood about the presentation of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance.The method used is descriptive analysis with qualitative form. The approach used is Etnokoreologi. Research data in the form of observation, direct communication and documentary study of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance in Pontianak City. The result of this research is the effort done in analyzing the choreography of Jepin Shortcut dance dance that is meeting with resource person who is dancer and musician of Jepin Tembung Pendek dance in Pontianak City. Keywords: Choreography, Analysis, Jepin Tembung Pendek

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze whether there is influence of application of learning strategy of preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) to reading comprehension skill of VA class student of Pontianak City elementary school. From the results of observation, it is known that in reading comprehension learning, 12 out of 24 students still find it difficult to deduce the results of the text they read. The method used is experimental method, while the research used pre-experimental design with one-group pretest-posttest design. Population and sample in this research is all student of class of VA Primary School of State 05 Pontianak City of academic year 2017/2018 amounted to 24 student. Data collection techniques used in this study are the technique of direct observation and measurement techniques. The research instrument used was observation sheet and reading skill test. Based on result of data analysis from mean value pre-test 57,79 and average post-test 70,46. T test result obtained  = 5%, with db = 23 is 2.069. Because  (18,23)>  (2,069), so alternative hypothesis (Ha) accepted, it can be concluded that there is influence of applying learning strategy of preview, question, read, reflect, recite, review (PQ4R) class VA Elementary School 05 Pontianak City.  Keywords: Reading comprehension skills, Learning strategy PQ4R

Abstract

AbstractThe government determines national policies and national education standards to guarantee the quality of national education. The Government and the Regional Government must provide services and facilities, and guarantee the implementation of quality education for every citizen without discrimination based on the Minimum Service Standards. The purpose of this study is to obtain descriptive information about the Policy in Achieving Minimum Service Standards  for Junior High School which is focused on the perceptions of structural officials, policies, policy formulations and constraints in implementing policies to meet minimum service standards in Kubu Raya Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study,  primary and secondary data through interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the conclusions and research suggestions concluded that structural officials' perceptions of Minimum Service Standards are still lacking, the implementation  is already underway, the formulation of policies is  teachers with academic qualifications and the constraints are infrastructure and human resources that are still not supportive and ready. Keywords: Policies and Minimial Service Standards

Abstract

AbstractThe development of learning models and methods provides great opportunities for educators for interesting learning. There are still many students who are not focused on learning, learning patterns are still needed for the teacher, and still do not provide a pattern of participation in accordance with the character of students. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of the investigation group learning model on handspring skills at SMP Negeri 21 East Pontianak.The method used in this study is research with an experimental pre-design form. The population in this study were students of class VIII in SMP Negeri 21 East Pontianak who collected 200 and the sample in this study were students of class AE who were involved in 40 with a purposive sample technique that is a sample technique with certain assistance, such as from the findings and testing of researchers do, students do not understand the handspring technique on gymnastics on the floor, many are afraid to try. Data analysis with computerized systems and analysis using t-test.The results of the study assessed the average pretest score of 50.05 and the average posttest score of 71.7. Data analysis obtained the value of the t-test with the difference in the value of the pretest and posttest was 21.65 then Ha was accepted to support or improve students' handspring skills in SMP Negeri 21 East Pontianak after being treated with the investigative group learning model and the effect size value obtained by 1, 78 included in the high category. Key words : Models, group investigations, handspring

Abstract

AbstractThe main objective of this research was to improve the students? engagement in writing a recount text using collaborative writing to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018. The research was conducted with Classroom Action Research in three cycles and every cycle consisted of one meeting. The subject of this research was 31 students in class VIII B. The researcher used field notes and writing tests as tools of data collection. The result showed that the use of collaborative writing improved students? engagement in writing a recount text. The improvement of students? engagement could be seen from the students? performance in teaching and learning process. The studentsbecame more enthusiastic in offering ideas. The students showed their commitment, attention, and persistence in learning. The improvement of students? engagement was presented into 11% improvement of excellent category engagement and 38% improvement of good category engagement in the first cycle and 38% improvement of excellent category engagement in the second cycle. Keywords:  Collaborative Writing, Students? Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan perbedaan dan pengaruh metode CIRC dan teknik membaca SQ4R dengan metode ceramah terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman interpretatif siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode ekperimen semu (quasy eksperiemen design). Hasil rata-rata kemampuan awal (pretest) membaca pemahaman interpretatif siswa  kelas eksperimen sebesar 45,79, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 48,82. Hasil yang berbeda ditemukan pada kemampuan akhir (posttest) membaca pemahaman interpretaif siswa kelas eksperimen setelah diberikan perlakuan  metode CIRC dan teknik membaca SQ4R sebesar 81,32, sedangkan kelas kontrol dengan metode ceramah sebesar 72,24.   Kata Kunci: CIRC, SQ4R, Membaca Pemahaman Interpretatif   Abstract: Purpose of this research was to describe the difference and effect methods CIRC and techniques read SQ4R with lecture methods to impact ability interpretative reading comprehension seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Sungai Raya. This research method is a quasi-experimental methods (quasy eksperiemen design). The average yield capability initial (pretest) interpretative reading comprehension experimental class students at 45,79, while the control class is 48,82. The different results found in the ability of the end (posttest) reading comprehension interpretaif experimental class students after being given treatment methods CIRC and techniques read SQ4R at 81,32, while the control class with a lecture at 72,24. Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to know the effect of using hypnoteaching method in introducing numbers to 5-6 years old children at Ra Baitul Jumaat, West Pontianak. This research used a quantitative approach and pre-experimental design in form of one-shot case study. The samples are B1 and B2 class consisted of 20 children aged 5-6 years old and also the teacher of B1 and B2 class. The technique of data collection are observation and documentaion. The technique of data analysis  is observing the results of research before and after using the method. The data is presented by product moment, a technique to find the correlation between two variables. Based on data analyzing of the effect of using hypnoteaching method in introducing numbers to 5-6 years old children compared to the results of the difference between using conventional methods with the hypnoteaching method, the calculation of the correlation coefficient obtained r count 0.29 in B1 and 0.34 in B2 with a significant level 5% and N = 10 is 0.632 or r table. The hypothesis of this research is if r count < r table then Ho accepted and Ha rejected. Regarding to the correlation coefficient calculation, it was found that the effect of introducting numbers before and after using the hypnoteaching method is categorized as “very low”. Keyword : Hypnoteaching Method, The Introduction of Numbers

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam mengenai materi, media, metode, dan hasil menulis naskah drama di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin dan SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode deskriptif dan bentuk kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah teknik observasi langsung dan wawancara. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan media, yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran menulis naskah drama dan hasil menulis naskah drama pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin dan SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. Guru SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin menggunakan media LCD, sedangkan guru SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu menggunakan media contoh naskah drama ?Tanda Bahaya karya Bakdi Soemanto. Pelaksanaan penilaian menulis naskah drama yang dilakukan guru sudah sesuai dengan kriteria penilaian pembelajaran karena, dalam pelaksanaannya guru sudah menggunakan rubrik penilaian. Kata Kunci: Kemampuan, menulis, naskah drama       Abstrack: The problem in this study materials , media , methods, results , and comparison playwriting class XI SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin and SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. The purpose of this study was to examine in depth about the material , media , methods , results and comparison of playwriting in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin and SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative terms . The technique used in this research is the technique of direct observation and interviews . The tools used for collecting the data in the form of sheets of observation and interview guides . The analysis technique used in this research is a qualitative descriptive. Based on data analysis can be concluded that there are differences in the methods used by teachers , media , used by teachers in teaching playwriting and results of playwriting in class XI student of SMAN 1 Menjalin and SMA Negeri 1 Mempawah Hulu. Implementation assessment playwriting that teachers are in accordance with the criteria for assessment of learning , in practice teachers are already using the assessment rubric. Keyword: skill, writing, playwriting

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is entitled "implementation School Literacy on economic subjects in Class X Madrasah Aliyah Khulafaur Rasyidin Kubu Raya". This research aims to study How School Literacy in Class X Madrasah Aliyah Khulafaur Rasyidin Kubu Raya. The research method used in this study is a qualitative description. Data collection tools use observation, interview guides, and documentation. The results of this study indicate: The program of implementing school literacy in Madrasah Aliyah Khulafaur Rasyidin Kubu Raya up to three people, namely: 1) The habituation stage which is to foster interest in reading 15 minutes of reading non-lesson books; 2) The development stage is students who analyze or re-discuss the books they have read; 3) The learning phase is a general knowledge textbook of enrichment reading books and textbooks such as Indonesian, mathematics, religion etc. Keywords: Implementation, School Literacy, Economic
