Abstract

AbstractIn Teluk Kembang village The majority of the population work as rubber farmers, but the fact shows not all rubber farmers live in better condition, many of them are less capable because of the income of rubber farmers And the many daily necessities that must be met. The low income of people with rubber farmers makes parents difficult to get their children to a higher level. And so does the environment that greatly affects children dropouts. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The research venue is held in Teluk Kembang village. The children of school dropouts and parents are experiencing dropouts. The factors that cause dropout children are the family economic factors, family factors, environmental factors. The most dominant factor of the cause of dropout children is the family economic factor. Most of the people in Teluk Kembang village work as a rubber pengrake which is very cheap and the income is only enough to provide daily needs. The price of rubber per kg is Rp. 6,000, 00 and the average monthly income is Rp. 500.000, 00-Rp. 1,100,000 while the monthly expenditure is RP. 700,000, 00-Rp. 1.050.000, 00. Parents ' efforts to overcome dropouts are by observing children's learning activities so that children are not negligent with the lesson. Keywords: School dropouts, family economic factors, rubber farmers

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuanu ntuk meningkatkan pembelajaran setart jongkok melalui setrategi bermain. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah guru berkolaborasi dengan siswa kelas Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 18 Pangkin Kabupaten Sekadau yaitu sebanyak 16 siswa. Pembelajaran start jongkok dengan mtode bermain sangat bagus diberikan pada siswa pada saat pembelajaran penjaskes dengan materi atletik star jongkok dengan demikian pembelajaran siklus I siswa yang baru lulus atau tuntas berjumlah  13 siswa atau 87,5 % sedangkan siswa yang belum lulus berjumlah 3 siswa atau 18,5% maka dilanjutkan ke siklus II  agar siswa  memiliki kesempatan untuk perbaikan star jongkok dengan demikian  bisa dikategorikan lulus atau tuntas semua dengan jumlah 16 siswa dan belum lulus dengan jumlah 0 siswa dengan nilai rata – rata 80,6.   Kata Kunci: Start Jongkok, Strategi Bermain, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research has tujuanu ntuk improve learning setart squat through setrategi play . Forms of research is classroom action research ( PTK ) . Subjects were teachers collaborate with Class V grade students of State Elementary School 18 Pangkin Sekadau as many as 16 students . Lessons start squatting with mtode played very well given to students during PE lesson with athletics star material squat thus learning first cycle of students who have recently graduated or completed totaled 13 students or 87.5 % , while students who do not graduate students amounts to 3 or 18 , 5 %, then proceed to the second cycle so that students have the opportunity to repair squat star could thus pass or complete all categorized by the number of 16 students and have not graduated by the number of students with a 0 value - average 80.6   Keywords: Start Squatting, Playing Strategy, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to examine the lack of effectiveness in the selection of learning methods. "Effectiveness of the Implementation Method of Giving Tasks to the Improvement of Student Learning Knowledge in Ecomoni Subjects in Class X IPS of SMA Negeri 4 Sungai Raya". Having a problem statement Are there differences in students' knowledge of economic subjects, Are there differences in students' interests in economic subjects, Which learning method is more effective between assignment methods and conventional learning by increasing students' knowledge and interest in learning in economic subjects. This research is using experimental method . As for the source of the data used is direct observation with the process of observation and writing of symptoms that arise in the study. Data will be analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The theoretical foundation used in the research is the method of assigning tasks, knowledge, and interests. Based on the analysis conducted, it was concluded that there are differences in learning with the assignment method of learning knowledge, there is no difference in learning with the assignment method to interest in learning, an effective learning method that is using the assignment method.Keywords, Effectiveness, Knowledge, Learning Interest, Assignment Method.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dan menganalisis: (1) pemahaman konseptual matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem solving, (2) perbedaan pemahaman konseptual matematis antara siswa tingkat kemampuan atas, menengah dan bawah yang memperoleh pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan problem solving, (3) disposisi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan pendekatan problem solving, dan (4) kontribusi pendekatan  problem solving terhadap perkembangan kemampuan pemahaman konseptual dan disposisi matematis siswa. Tujuan tersebut dicapai melalui rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Harapan di Kabupaten Landak tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dengan  sampel sebanyak 30 orang dari 3 kelas yang diambil secara acak (random sampling). Perolehan data pemahaman konseptual melalui tes dan dianalisis menggunakan uji parametrik sedangkan data disposisi matematis dikumpulkan melalui angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui pendekatan problem solving berkontribusi terhadap pemahaman konseptual dan disposisi matematis siswa. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman Konseptual, Disposisi Matematis, Pendekatan Problem Solving   Abstract: This study aims to uncover and analyze: (1) a conceptual understanding of mathematical students in learning with problem solving approach, (2) differences in conceptual understanding of mathematical between students' level of ability of upper, middle and lower gain mathematics learning with problem solving approach, (3) mathematical dispositions of students in learning with problem solving approach, and (4) the contribution of problem solving approach to the development of conceptual understanding and the ability of students' mathematical disposition. The objectives are achieved through the design of one group pretest-posttest. The population in this study were class X SMA Hope in Porcupine District school year 2016/2017 with a sample of 30 people from three classes taken at random. Conceptual understanding of data acquisition through the test and analyzed using parametric test while the data collected through questionnaires mathematical disposition. Based on the analysis concluded that concluded that learning through problem solving approach contributed to the conceptual understanding and students' mathematical disposition. Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model word square pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus dan terjadi peningkatan disetiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah (a) Kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I yaitu 3,16, siklus II 3,34, dan siklus III 3,71. (b) Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mulai dari siklus I yaitu 3,32, siklus II 3,47, dan siklus III 3,73. (c) Hasil belajar peserta didik. siklus I yaitu 72,86, siklus II 78,93, dan siklus III 87,00. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model word square dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V A Sekolah Dasar Negeri 35 Pontianak Selatan.   Kata Kunci: Penerapan, Hasil Belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Model Word Square Abstract: This research aims to describle application of word square models in the teaching social sciences to increase lerning outcomes of learners in the class five State Elementary School 35 Pontianak Sounth. The method used in this research is descriptive method whit the form of classroom action research. This research was conducted as three cycles and an increase in each cycles. With the result obtained are. (a) the ability of teachers compile plan learning from the first cycle is 3,16, second cycle is 3,34, and third cycle is 3,71. (b) the ability of teachers to implement the learning from the first cycle is 3,32, second cycle is 3,47, and third cycle is 3,73. (c) the result of learners learning first cycle is 72,86, the second cycle is 78,93, and the third cycle is 87,00. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to investigate the significance of plyometric training to the long passing outcome on soccer. Population was taken from rawak football club which consisted of 24 candidates. Technique of data sampling was satu ration sampling. Metode of the research was experimental with one group deseign pre-test. The data were collected with tests and measurement teacnique. The resuld showed that the ability of long passing on football (47,35). The lowest value was (40,3), where as the height value was (56,2). The significance of the value of pre-test and post-test the was <0,05, which implies that the normality test of data is valid. The result of homogeneity showed valid. As the t test was p value 0,018 < 0.05, the alternative hypothesis (ha) is acceped. In conclusion, plyometric training has significant infact to the outcome of long passingin football or rawak football club players.Keywords: plyometric, long passing

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research was to find out the effectiveness of Picture Word Inductive Model in teaching writing descriptive text to the eighth grade students of  SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak in academic year 2016/2017. The researcher used pre experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The research population is 190 students. The sample of this research was class VIIIA that consisted of 32 students which was chosen by using cluster random sampling. The tool of data collecting was writing test. The research findings showed that the mean score of the pre-test was 59.72 and the mean score of post-test was 78.72. Moreover, the effect size result was 2.30.This result was more than 0.80 (ES > 0.8) which categorized as high effect size. It proved that teaching writing descriptive text using Picture Word Inductive Model gives a strong significant effect to improve students? writing achievement.Keywords : Descriptive Text, Teaching Writing, Picture Word Inductive Model.

Abstract

AbstractDayak Jawatn Society focused on terminologies of wild animal trapping tools using semantic analysis. The problems in this reserach are how is the terminologies’ inventory, lexical meaning, component analysis of semantic and function meaning. The methods used in this research is descriptive method. The form used is qualitative form. The data in this research is terminologies of wild animal trapping tools in Dayak Jawatn Society in the district of Sekadau Hulu. The data source in this research is Dayak Jawatn native speaker whose having knowledge of wild animal trapping tools and how to make it. The technique used in this research is listening technique that has advance stages: listening and speaking involvement technique, recording technique, and note technique. The tools used in collecting data are the researcher as key instrument and using supporting tools like interview instrument, sound recorder, camera, and stationery. Based on the research result Terminologies of Wild Animal Trapping Tools consist of six terminologies classification: 18 terms based on trap names, 3 terms based on tools, 5 terms based on materials, 14 terms based on parts, 25 terms based on process, and 4 terms based on places of putting the traps. Keywords: terminologies, wild animal trapping tools, Dayak Jawatn Society

Abstract

 Abstrack         The research background is poor conceptual comprehension on salt hydrolysis chemistry in XI grade science students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. The research aims to know the difference between conceptual comprehension in XI grade science students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap in the salt hydrolysis material which was taught using conventional learning model and using guided discovery learning model and to know the influence of guided discovery learning model toward concept comprehension students. The research method was quasy exsperimental design with nonequivalent pretest posstest group control design. The essay test and interview were used as instrument. The posttest results of both class were analysis using the U-Mann Whitney test with a= 5%, and revealed value Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.012 (sig <0.05). It indicated that there was the difference in conceptual comprehension between students taught by guided discovery learning model amd conventional model. The effect size give a value of 0,62 by percentage 23,24%, indicating that guided discovery learning model gave influence to the conceptual comprehension of students in XI grade science students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap on the salt hydrolysis chemistry.  Kata kunci: Guided Discovery Learning, Pemahaman konsep, hidrolisis garam.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to know and describe students mathematic problem solving ability on metacognition ability plane geometry in class VII SMP N 3 Sungai Pinyuh. This research used descriptive method with survey form. The subjects of this research were 25 students of class VII A in SMP N 3 Sungai Pinyuh. Data collection tool used test, questionnaire, and interview. Test given to know students mathematic problem solving ability, questionnaire given to know metacognition ability, and interview given to find out more metacognition ability. The result of this research showed: (1) From 8 students have students mathematic problem solving ability as high category, 1 student as good metacognition ability category, 5 students as medium metacognition ability category, and 2 students as low metacognition ability category; (2) From 5 students have students mathematic problem solving ability as medium category, 3 students as medium metacognition ability category, and 2 students as low metacognition ability category; (3) From 12 students have students mathematic problem solving ability as high category, 4 students as medium metacognition ability category, and 8 students as low metacognition ability category. Keywords: Problem Solving Ability, Metacognition Ability, Plane Geometry
