Abstract

Semantic mapping is introduced as a vocabulary presentation technique through descriptive text. The purpose of this research is to know the effectiveness of using semantic mapping in increase the students vocabulary achievement to the seventh grade student of SMPN 1 Samalantan in academic year 2011/2012. The method is through pre-experimental study, using a measurement technique in form of multiple choices and matched words which consists of 20 test items with two supported descriptive text. Based on the data analysis, the mean score of pre-test 4.4, qualifying poor and post-test mean score was 7.4, qualifying average to good. The results confirmed that semantic mapping technique in teaching vocabulary through a descriptive text effectively increase the students achievement of vocabulary. Keywords: Vocabulary, semantic mapping, achievement Abstrak: Semantic mapping adalah teknik yang diperkenalkan sebagai salah satu teknik untuk mempresentasikan kosakata dalam suatu paragraf deskriptiv. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui semantic mapping efektiv dalam meningkatkan kosakata siswa kelas tujuh di SMPN 1 Samalantan tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen, bentuk penelitian eksperimen adalah multiple choices and matched words dengan jumlah soal 20 item disertai dua paragraf deskriptiv. Berdasarkan data analisis, nilai rata-rata pre-test adalah 4.4, dalam kualifikasi rendah (poor) dan nilai rata-rata post-test adalah 7.4, dalam kualifikasi baik (good). Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik semantic mapping dalam mengajar kosakata didalam paragraf deskriptiv efektiv menigkatkan kosakata siswa.

Abstract

Abstract The general problem in this study whether using the problem based learning model can increase student activity in class III civic education subjects SDN 06 Pereges, Seluas District? The general objective of this study is to improve student learning activities by using a problem based learning model on the subjects of class III citizenship education at SDN 06 Pereges, Seluas District. This study uses descriptive methods with the form of classroom action research, and the nature of research is collaborative. The research setting took place at SDN 06 Pereges, Seluas Subdistrict, with research subjects, namely class III B students totaling 24 people. Data collection techniques used are interview techniques, direct observation techniques, measurement techniques with data collection tools namely observation sheets. The data collected is analyzed with percentage and average calculations.This research was conducted in 3 cycles. The ability of teachers to design learning in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 3.39 with a good category, in cycle 2 experienced an increase of 0.25 to 3.64 with a very good category, and in cycle 3 had an increase of 0.13 to increase to be 3.77 with a very good category. The ability of teachers to carry out learning in cycle 1 obtained an average score of 3.45 with a good category, in cycle 2 experienced an increase of 0.11 to 3.56 very well, and in cycle 3 had an increase of 0.25 so it increased to 3.81 with a very good category. Student activity in cycle 1 obtained a percentage of 57.82%, in cycle 2 it increased by 7.36% to 65.18%, and in cycle 3 also increased by 13.54% to 78.72%. With the implementation of the problem based learning model in learning civic education can improve student learning activities. Keywords : Learning Activities, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

AbstractProverb research aims to inventory, classifying the type, form, function and meaning using the study of semantics. This research is the study of Linguistics or linguistic. The results of this research can contribute and are expected to add insight in linguistic contexts. The study of proverbs is a semantic study Keninjal Dayak in methods of descriptive and qualitative form. The approach used in this study is the semantic approach. The source of the data in this study are the Dayak languages Keninjal. The technique of determining the source of the data used is the purposive sampling. The data in the study totaled 165 proverb research data collection technique is the technique of fishing rods, interview techniques, recording Techniques. Types Ferox Keninjal Proverb is the adage, parable, perbilangan, slogan, thimble and expression. Types Ferox Keninjal proverb of the most prominent is the parable. Dayak proverb Keninjal shaped phrases divided into phrases endosentris, eksosentrik phrase, noun phrases, verbal phrases, phrases, idiomatic phrase phrase adjektifa konotatif. There is also a proverb shaped sentences consist of complete sentences, elliptical sentences sentences sideline, and minor sentences. The function of proverbs Keninjal Dayak is to advise, quips, rebuke and to declare certain circumstances. The meaning of the proverb Dayak Keninjal consists of grammatical meaning, in denotative, konotatif, conceptual, idiomatic full, partial and idiomatic meanings of proverbs.        Keywords: Proverbs, Inventory, Type, Form, Function, Meaning

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analyze whether there is not the effect of RME for third grade SDN 38 north Pontianak. The research method used is the experimental method with the experimental form Pre Experimental Design, experimental design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all third grade students public elementary school 38 north Pontianak with a total of 55 students. The sample selection was done by purposive sampling type, with the results of the sample being third grade B. The data collection tool was in the form of a test of student learning outcomes with 4 essay questions. Based on statistical calculations from the average results of third grade B pre-test of 46.30 and the average post-test results of third grade B of 78.30 obtained tcount of 22.19 and ttable α = 5% (with dk = 6 - 3 = 3) of 2.060 which means tcount (22.19)>ttable (2.060). Abstract

AbstractAs for the formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of parents can overcome school dropouts. This study aims to find out and describe the role parents play in overcoming school dropouts. This study uses a description method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. As for the information in the study as many as 6 people, namely 2 children an their parents, 2 junior high school children along with their parents and 2 high school children and their parents, the results of this study indicate that the role of parents in including as educators, parents have done their roles like (affective, cognitiv, psychomotor) well, the role of parents as motivations, parents have carried out their roles but are still not maximal in the from of giving motivation such as advice, reprimand, praise and gifts as a from of motivation so that children are motivated to continue their education, his parents provide moral support and motivation but not materially. And in the from of providing facilitators, parents provide learning facilies that are still inadequate, meaning that there is no provision of faciliteis that can support their children?s educational achievements, so that the results of parents? research are not optimal in their role as facilitators. Keywords: The Role Of Parents, School Dropouts, School Age

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui kebugaran jasmani siswa tuna rungu di Sekolah Luar Biasa Dharma Asih Pontianak. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Populasi siswa SLB Dharma Asih yang berjumlah 87 orang. Sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian kebugaran jasmani yang terdiri dari 22 sampel maka diperoleh nilai kebugaran jasmani yaitu klasifikasi frekuensi  kebugaran jasmani yang terdiri dari 14 sampel putra maka diperoleh nilai kebugaran jasmani dengan klasifikasi baik adalah 3 siswa dengan persentase 21.43% dan kalsifikasi sedang adalah 11 siswa dengan persentase 78.57. Sedangkan klasifikasi frekuensi kebugaran jasmani yang terdiri dari 8 sampel putri maka diperoleh nilai kebugaran jasmani dengan klasifikasi baik adalah 2 siswi dengan persentase 25.00% dan kalsifikasi sedang adalah 6 siswi dengan persentase 75.00%.   Kata Kunci:,Kebugaran Jasmani, Tuna Rungu   Abstract: Problems in the study of how physical fitness of deaf students in the School of Extraordinary Dharma Asih Pontianak. The purpose of the study to determine the physical fitness of deaf students in the School of Extraordinary Dharma Asih Pontianak. The research method is a descriptive study with survey forms. SLB Dharma Asih student population numbering 87 people. Samples using purposive sampling technique totaling 22 students. The data analysis using descriptive analysis percentage. Research results of physical fitness which is composed of 22 samples of the obtained value of physical fitness that is the classification of the frequency of physical fitness which is composed of 14 samples of the son of the obtained value of physical fitness with good classification is 3 students with a percentage of 21:43% and calcification medium is 11 students with a percentage of 78.57. While the frequency of physical fitness classification consists of 8 samples daughter of the obtained value of physical fitness with good classification is 2 student with a percentage of 25.00% and moderate calcification is 6 students with a percentage of 75.00%.  Keywords : Physical Fitness, Deaf

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Muara Pawan Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Peningkatan kemampuan merencanakan pembelajaran sebesar 21,33% dengan kategori Baik. Peningkatkan kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran sebesar 17,23%  ini berarti pelaksanaan perbaikan pembelajaran pada siklus III dikategorikan sedang.  Peningkatan aktivitas fisik peserta didik dari base line ke siklus I 22,79%, dari base line ke siklus II 45,61% dan dari base line ke siklus III 50,87 dengan kategori baik. Peningkatan aktivitas mental peserta didik dari base line ke siklus I  30,26%, dari base line ke siklus II  44,74% dan dari base line ke siklus III 47,37 dengan kategori sedang.  Peningkatan aktivitas emosional peserta didik  dari base line ke siklus I 31,58%, selanjutnya dari base line ke siklus II 43,86%. Kemudian dari base line ke siklus III 52,63% dengan kategori baik.   Kata Kunci : Peningkatan, Aktivitas, Pembelajaran, Media, Cekar Abstract: The aim of this study is generally to get accurate information to improve mathematics learning activities in class V State Elementary School 07 Muara Pawan Ketapang. The method used is descriptive method. Improved ability to plan learning of 21.33% with good category. Increasing ability to implement learning by 17.23% this means the implementation of the third cycle of learning improvements are being considered. Increased physical activity of students from the base line of the first cycle to 22.79%, from the base line to the second cycle and 45.61% of the base line to the third cycle 50.87 with both categories. Increased mental activity of students from the base line of the first cycle to 30.26%, from the base line to the second cycle and 44.74% of the base line to the third cycle with category 47.37. Increased emotional activity learners from base line to the first cycle of 31.58%, further from the base line to the second cycle 43.86%. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers to carry out learning and improve student learning outcomes by applying a cooperative model on thematic learning in class V of Elementary School. The method used is descriptive method, the form of research is classroom action research with research procedures, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in the form of direct observation techniques and measurement techniques. Data collection tools in the form of observation sheets and question sheets. The data analysis technique used is the calculation of averages and percentages. The research setting was conducted in the VA class of Pontianak City Elementary School 34. The results of the study are as follows: Increasing the ability of teachers to carry out learning in the first cycle obtained an average of 2.92, Cycle II obtained an average of 3.46 and the third cycle obtained an average of 3.76. Student learning outcomes increase in the first cycle obtained an average of 85.2, the second cycle obtained an average of 86.8 and the third cycle obtained an average of 88.8 all three are high categories. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Tematik Learning, The Result of Learning.

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui interaksi sosial mahasiswa antar Anggota Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam Komisariat KIP UNTAN Cabang Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. proses pelaksanaannya dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  Komisariat KIP dalam menjalankan aktivitas keorganisasian terdapat kerjasama di bidang pendidikan yang bekerjasama dengan Komisariat ISIP sedangkan di bidang keagamaan bekerjasama dengan Komisariat Ekonomi dan Komisariat MIPA sedangkan di bidang sosial bekerjasama dengan Komisariat ISIP dan dibidang keolahragaan bekerjasama dengan Komisariat Ekonomi serta Komisariat ISIP. Di  Komisariat  KIP juga terdapat persaingan, persaingan sesama anggota Komisariat dan persaingan dengan anggota Komisariat yang ada di Universitas Tanjungpura, persaingan yang terjadi di Komisariat  KIP diantaranya persaingan  dalam  pengembangan  anggota serta persaingan dalam bidang pengkaderan. Untuk mengurangi persaingan di Komisariat diperlukan sikap kompromi dan sikap toleransi baik itu sesama anggota Komisariat maupun dengan Komisariat yang ada di Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam Cabang Pontianak.   Kata Kunci : Interaksi Sosial, Anggota, HMI, KIP UNTAN Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine students' social interaction among members of Islamic Students Association Commissariat KIP UNTAN Pontianak Branch. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. the implementation process is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Commissariat KIP in carrying out activities organization there is cooperation in the field of education in cooperation with the Commissariat ISIP while in the religious field in cooperation with the Commissioner for Economic and Commissariat MIPA while in the social sector in cooperation with the Commissariat ISIP and field sports in collaboration with the Commissioner for Economic and Commissariat ISIP. KIP also contained in the Commissariat of competition, rivalry and competition among members of the Commissioner of the Commissariat of existing members at the University Tanjungpura, competition in the Commissariat KIP include competition in the development of competition in the field of members and cadres. To reduce competition in the Commissioner is required attitude of compromise and tolerance both fellow members and the Commissioner of the Commissariat in Pontianak branch of the Muslim Students Association. Abstract

AbstractSMPN 11 Pontianak has recently implemented the 2013 Curriculum. This research discussed the implementation, difficultief student, and evaluation in implementing the curriculum in the Indonesian language subject. This study aims to describe learning to write official letter in class VII students of SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data sources in this study were teachers and students. The theory used as the reference in this study is the theory of Indonesian language learning based on the 2013 curriculum. Based on the findings, it was concluded that (1) plans designed by the teacher were in accordance with the 2013 curriculum, (2) the implementation of learning write official letters conducted by teachers based on Teacher Ability Assessment Tool 2 (APKG 2) has been implemented well, and (3) assessment of the learning of write official letters conducted by the teacher is in accordance with the assessment provisions based on the 2013 curriculum. Keywords: Learning Instruction, Writing official letters
