Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research were to determine the difference in learning outcomes between the students given Teams Games Tournament type cooperative learning model with DAM game and the students given cooperative learning model as well as to know the influence of TGT type cooperative model with DAM game on students learning outcomes of class XI SMK N 2 Pontianak on hydrocarbon material. The research method was a quasy experimental research using control group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The research sample was class XI TP A as experiment class and XI TSM as control class. Essay-shaped written tests and unstructured interviews were used as data gathering tools. Mann-Whitney U was performed toward pre test data and revealed that both samples had no difference in initial ability. Analysis of post test data was carried out using independent t-test yielding value Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.005. It indicated that there was the difference in student learning outcomes between experiment class student and control class. The effect size value obtained was 1.03 and classiffied as high category. Based on Cohen’s table, the previous value indicated that TGT type cooperative learning model gave effect to student’s learning outcomes as 55%. Keywords: TGT, DAM Game, Learning Outcomes, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted based on the problems found in the process of learning activities.. The purpose of this research was to improve students’ speaking performance by using talking stick method. This classroom action research was conducted in 3 cycles. The participant of this research was 14 students of the second grade of SMPS BumiKhatulistiwa in Academic Year 2016/2017. The data were gathered from observation-checklist, field note and students’ score in each cycle. The data showed that the students’ were encouraged to speak confidently in front of their friends.In the cycle 1, the main problem faced by the students was they did not use various vocabularies. In the cycle 2, the students were enthusiastic to speak; tell their experience even they still used limited vocabulary to describe their opinion. Then, in the cycle 3, only small number of students who had problem in their performance, almost all students had improved their performance. In conclusion, the implementation of talking stick method could encourage students to speak and also helped the students solve their problems in speaking; self-confident. Keywords: Talking stick method, Students speaking performance. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan masalah yang ditemukan didalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk tampil berbicara dengan menggunakan metodologi tongkat berbicara. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus. Peserta dari penelitian adalah 14 orang siswa dari kelas delapan SMPS Bumi Khatulistiwa tahun akademik 2016/2017. Data menunjukkan bahwa siswa terdorong untuk berbicara dengan percaya diri didepan teman-temannya. Di siklus 1, masalah yang sering dihadapi siswa adalah mereka tidak menggunakan kosakata yang beragam. Di siklus 2, siswa-siswa telah antusias untuk berbicara; menceritakan tentang pengalaman mereka walaupun mereka masih menggunakan kosakata yang terbatas untuk mendeskripsikan opini mereka. Lalu, di siklus 3, hanya sedikit dari mereka yang masih memiliki masalah di penampilan mereka. Hampir seluruh siswa telah melakukan peningkatan.Kesimpulannya, penerapan metode tongkat berbicara dapat memicu siswa untuk berbicara dan juga membantu siswa untuk memecahkan masalah mereka dalam berbicara yaitu kepercayaan diri. Kata kunci : Metode tongkat berbicara, Penampilan berbicara siswa.

Abstract

Abstract Problems in this study is how big the level of basic skills to play futsal learners who follow extracurricular futsal in SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak. The purpose of research to find out how big skill level of playing futsal learners who follow extracurricular futsal. The method used in this research is survey using measurement. Sampling using total sampling. Samples studied were students who followed extracurricular futsal in SMK Negeri 1 Pontianak as many as 24 people. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis using SPSS. The results showed, score for shooting test obtained the lowest score 1.00, the highest score 5.00, the average 2.6667, standard deviation 1.30773. While the score for dribble test obtained lowest score 39.67, highest score 68.11, average 56.65, standard deviation 7.44781. for heading test obtained the lowest score 2.00, highest score 4.00, average 2.3,0417, standard deviation 0.85867. for passing test obtained the lowest score 4.00, highest score 8.00, average 6.0417, standard deviation 1.30148. Students who entered into the medium category are 2 people with percentage of 8.33%, while for the category of less is 5 people with percentage of 20.83%, less category once is 17 people with percentage 70,84%.Keywords: basic skills, futsal, Learners.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the desire of researchers to find the style of figurative language in a collection of short on the Toilet Works by Eka Kurniawan. This study aims to obtain a description of the figurative style style in a collection of short stories on the Toilet Works by Eka Kurniawan. Benefits of research that can be obtained from this research that is, theoretical benefits and practical benefits. The technique used in this research is the technique of documentary study, and the data collection tool is the researcher himself as a key instrument assisted by the recorder card to classify the problem under study. Based on the results of data analysis on a collection of short storieson the Toilet Works by Eka Kurniawan, it can be concluded that there is a figurative style of language consisting of 14 equations of language style, 9 metaphoric style of language, 16 personific languages, and language style of irony 9 pieces, the style of cinema language amounted to 10 pieces, and sarcasm style of 12 units. Based on these conclusions the style of language contained in a collection of short storieson the Toilet Works by Eka Kurniawan all amounted to 70 pieces of the most dominant language style is used is the style of personification language which amounted to 16 pieces.  Keywords: analysis, style, short story

Abstract

AbstractThis research generally aims to clarify and solve learningobstacle in the problem solving of plane figure in SMPN 1 Sungai Kakap with didactic anticipation which utilizescreative thinking potential of students in the plane figure especially related to the base and height of the triangle. Subjects who participated in this study were four students. The method used in this study is the design of a single subject design with A-B-A 'design.The instrument used in the form of a reasoned multiple choice test consisting of pre-test and post-test.Before being given anticipation of didactic by utilizing the potential of creative thinking, the subjects of the study experienced learningobstacle in the problem solving that was known from the pre-test results of the students and through personal interviews conducted. After being given didactic anticipation with creative thinking potential, learningobstacle in the problem solving can be minimized. This is indicated by the reduced learning obstacle in the problem solving experienced by the subject. Thus, the didactic anticipation by utilizing the potential of creative thinking can solve learningobstacle in the problem solving of plane figure.Keywords: Anticipation Didaktis, Learning Obstacle, Problem Solving, Potential of Creative Thinking

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis entitled “ Improving Students’ Activeness in learning Economy Through TPS with Talking Stick”.The purpose of this study is to increase student activity during the learning process. This type of research is classroom action research with research subjects class X B totaling 32 students. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages: (Planning), (Implementation), (Observation), and (Reflection). Methods Data collection techniques use observation. Data collection tools used in the form of student activity sheets during the learning process. The results of the research that have been carried out show that there is an increase in student activity, between Pre cycle, cycle I to cycle II, the overall average activity of students during the cycle is 29.97% increasing in cycle 1 as much as 20% to 50.37% then experiencing an increase in cycle 2 by 18% to 68 54% of the data obtained can be concluded that by using the Think Pair Share learning model with Talking Stick can increase student activity seen from student learning activities Keywords:  Think Pair Share Learning Model with Talking Stick, Student Activity

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is an influence of parents' motivation on the learning outcomes of students of economic subjects in class XI IPS 4 at MAN 1 Pontianak. Descriptive research method with the form of relationship research studies. The population of students in class XI IPS 4, amounting to 35 people, using saturated samples totaling 35 students of class XI IPS 4 in MAN 1 Pontianak. Technique of collecting indirect communication techniques and documentary study techniques. Data collection tools used were questionnaires / questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y) or student learning outcomes with a large correlation value or R relationship that was equal to 0.572 moderate categories. The data analysis technique is based on the equation 10.325 + 0.651X. The results of the t test show that tcount> t table is (4.001> 2,035). So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus it can be said that there is an influence of parents' motivation on the learning outcomes of students of economic subjects in class XI IPS 4 at MAN 1 Pontianak. The results of the coefficient of determination (R2) amounted to 0.327 which means the percentage of contribution of influence was 32.7%, while the remaining 67.3% was influenced by other factors such as interests and rivals / competition which were not examined in this study.Keywords:Parental Motivation, Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

AbstractThis study is aimed to describe the improvement of writing abiliy on procedure text by using Writing In The Here and Now learning model at the eighth grade students of SMAN 3 Sanggau. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Descriptive method is concerned with developing or giving explanations of social phenomena towards subject that being observed. The techniques used in this research were observaion, documentary study, and test. The result of writing ability on prosedure text by using writing in the here and now learning model at the eighth grade students of SMAN 3 Sanggau in the firstcycle was 72, 88%  and in  the second cycle, the students? score was 80, 45%. It can be concluded that the implementation of Writing In The Here and Now learning  model improved students? writing ability on procedure text at the eighth grade students of senior high school in SMAN 3 Sanggau.Keywords: Writing Ability, Writing In The Here and Now, Students Outcom

Abstract

AbstractThe background of this research was the revitalization of Giring-giring dance in Setia Jaya Village. The aim to be achieved was to revitalize the Giring-giring dance so that it could relive in Dayak Banyadu community of Tekalong Hamlet, Setia Jaya Village, Teriak District, Bengkayang Regency. The method of this research was descriptive method, the design was qualitative. The approach of this research was ethnocoreology approach which was based on the disciplines of sociology dance. The data collecting techniques of this research were interview, observation and documentation. The researcher applied the extension of observation and triangulation of sources to check the validity of data in this research. The data analysis technique in this research was reduction data, presentation data, and verification data. The results of this research were the teaching Giring-giring dance through training in the community of Setia Jaya Village, Teriak District, Bengkayang Regency. Furthermore, presenting the Giring-giring dance in National Children's Day activities. Performing Giring-giring dance in Cultural Congress activities and held a hamlet-level Giring-giring dance competition in Setia Jaya village during the Giring-giring dance festival.Keywords: Revitalization, Giring-Giring Dance, Bengkayang Regency

Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskrifsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam melakukan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan sampai 500 mengunakan media kerucut bilangan pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas II di  Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Nahaya Kecamatan Ngabang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskritif bersifat kualitatif. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran pada siklus I skor rata-rata 2,85 dan siklus II skor rata-rata 3,38 peningkatannya 0,53. (2) kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran pada siklus I skor rata-rata 2,84 dan siklus II skor rata-rata 3,34 peningkatanya 0,5. Dan (3) hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika dengan materi melakukan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan sampai 500 pada siklus I rata-rata 52,12 dan siklus II rata-rata 67,27  peningkatannya 15,15 Kata Kunci : Media Kerucut Bilangan, Pembelajaran Matematika   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to describe improving student learning outcomes in doing addition and subtraction of numbers up to 500 cones media using numbers in mathematics class II State Elementary School 16 Nahaya District of Ngabang. The method used is descriptive method is qualitative. The procedure in this study using the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that (1) the ability of teachers in designing learning in the first cycle an average score of 2.85 and the second cycle an average score increase of 0.53 3.38. (2) the ability of teachers in implementing the learning cycle I average score of 2.84 and the second cycle an average score of 3.34 peningkatanya 0.5. And (3) the results of student learning in mathematics with matter do addition and subtraction of numbers up to 500 in the first cycle an average of 52.12 and an average second cycle improvement 67.2715.15 Keywords: Media Cones Numbers,  Learning Mathematics
