Abstract

AbstractThis research is purposed to find out the effectiveness of the implementation of Inquiry learning in improving the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of the students in momentum and impulse. Pre-Experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test was used in this research. The population is all the IPA students at the 10th grade of SMAN 1 Sukadana. Using intact group, the sample of this research was X IPA 1 that have 32 studentes. This research instrument used HOTS test that have 5 essay questions. The average of the students  HOTS test result before the implementation of inquiry learning was 4.09 in enough category, whereas the students HOTS test result after the implementation of inquiry learning was at 11.4 in the very good category. Wilcoxon nonparametric test was applied with significance at 5% which shows there is an enhancement after the implementation of inquiry learning. Inquiry learning model is effective to improve the students HOTS in the momentum and impulse subject in effect size score 4.4 in the high category according to Cohen. As the result inquiry model can be used as the alternative learning model to improve students? HOTS. Keyword: Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), inquiry learning, momentum and     impulse

Abstract

Abstract : The purpose of this research is to investigate how well is the ability of  the Third Semester  Regular A Students of the English Education Study Program in Academic Year 2012/2013 in pronouncing voiced and voiceless consonants. Method of this research is descriptive study by holding three time of test using minimal pairs. Subject of this research is all of the Third Semester  Regular A Students of the English Education Study Program in Academic Year 2012/2013. Data of the research was collected by using pronouncing practice oral test of minimal pairs. Result of this research is the main score of students’ pronouncing ability at the first test was 91.37, the second test was 89.40 and the last test was 91.48 which was categorized as good to excellent. The result of the students’ mean score had shown their significant ability in pronouncing English voiced and voiceless consonants. Key word : Pronouncing Voiced and Voiceless Consonants, minimal Pairs. Abstrak : Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah untuk mennyelidiki seberapa baik kemampuan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Reguler A semester ketiga tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 dalam melafalkan konsonan voiced dan voiceless Bahasa Inggris menggunakan minimal pairs. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif dengan melakukan tiga kali test menggunakan minimal pairs. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Reguler A Semester ketiga tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Data penelitian didapatkan dengan menggunakan test lisan praktek pelafalan minimal pairs. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh mahasiswa pada test pertama adalah 91,37, test kedua 89,40 dan test terakhir 91,48 yang dikategorikan baik sampai dengan luar biasa. Hasil nilai rata-rata mahasiswa ini telah menunjukkan kemampuan signifikan mereka dalam melafalkan  konsonan voiced dan voiceless Bahasa Inggris. Kata Kunci : Pelafalan Voiced dan Voiceless Konsonan, Minimal Pairs

Abstract

 AbstractThe purpose of this study was to obtain information about the influence of the scientific approach to learning outcomes and how much influence the scientific approach has on the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. The conclusion: The influence of the scientific approach to the learning outcomes of pancasila and citizenship Education in fourth grade students of 17 Pontianak State elementary school was 1.69. It can be seen from the results of regression analysis calculations, There is the influence of the scientific approach to the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Citizenship Education in the fourth grade teacher of Pontianak public elementary school with a contribution of 16.9%.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Scientific Approach

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out the elements of linguistic rules that build the pantun text, see and know the forms of tradition and culture in the Sambas Malay community which is reflected in the pantun text. The general problem in this study is "What are the language rules in the Sambas Malay customary text collection?" The general problem is divided into specific sub-topics, namely "(1) rhyme, (2) diction, (3) image form, (4) figuratively, (5) implementation in learning? "The theory in this study relates to the structure and rules of rhyme. The methodology applied is descriptive qualitative form. Obtaining data is done by documentary study techniques. There are 40 pantun data. The data source of the research is a collection of poetry texts which contains a description of the culture of the Sambas Malay community and data collection tools such as stationery, recording cards, and laptops. The results of this study are (1) rhymes with vowel and consonant suffixes, (2) Choice of words that include general, special, ancient word choices. (3) The form of pengimaji in rhymes which includes the form of tradition and culture of the Sambas Malay community. Abstract

AbstractThis study in general aimeds to reveal the managerial influence of principals and the academic supervision on the competent of teachers at the SD Negeri Salatiga District. This study used a quantitative approach. The data used were quantitative data. The population as well as the sample in this study amounted to 95 teachers. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a measurement model using a Likert scale. The collected data is tabulated. Then the analysis was done using the help of a computer application program, namely SPSS version 16 for Window. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.The first step in testing the hypothesis, namely the test requirements for regression analysis (normality test and linearity test). After testing the analysis requirements were met, then testing the hypothesis. The analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. To determine the effect of independent variables on non-independent variables together, the F test is used.The results showed that 1) the principal managerial influence (X1) with teacher performance competent (Y) Beta (b1) amounted to 0.343 = 33.40%, 2) the effect of the principal's cademic supervision (X2) on teacher competent (Y) Beta (b1 ) equal to 0.442 = 44.20%, 3) managerial influence of the principal (X1) and the academic supervision (X2) on teacher competent by 0.554 or 55.40%. The results of the F test seen in the ANOVA output from the results of multiple linear regression analysis indicated that Fcount> Ftable (45,959> 3,115) Keywords :  Academic Supervision Principal Managerial,  Teacher Competent

Abstract

  Abstract: This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the digital story as media for teaching reading narrative text to the Eighth Grade Students of SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak in Academic Year 2014/2015. The research method that used is a pre-experimental and the research design that used is the one group pre-test post-test design.The sample of this research was class VIII D which consisted of 35 students. The technique of data collecting was measurement technique. The data were collected through pre-test and post test by usingthe multiple choice test which consist of 20 items.The result of data analysis showed that mean score post-test was higher than pre-test (from 60.85 to 79.28).  The computation of the effect size with the score  1.80  ( > 1.00)  shows  that  the  use  of  digital story  as  media  has  the  strongeffect in teaching reading narrative text.   Keywords: reading, narrative text, digital story.   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan keefektifan dari cerita digital sebagai media untuk mengajar membaca teks narrative untuk siswa kelas dua dari SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang  digunakan adalah pre-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian yang  digunakan adalah satu grup pre-test post-test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII D yang terdiri dari 35 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik pengukuran. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda yang berjumlah dua puluh soal. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari post-test lebih tinggi dari pada  pre-test (60.85-79.28).  Perhitungan dari ukuran efek dengan nilai 1,80 (>1,00)  menunjukan bahwa kegunaan dari cerita digital sebagai  media  memiliki efek  yang kuat dalam pengajaran membaca teks narative. Kata Kunci :membaca, teks naratif, cerita digital.

Abstract

AbstractThis study examines the characters in the novel Mariposa by Luluk HF, and to describe character analytically, character dramatically; and thatis to decribe implementation of the results into the Indonesian intructions at school. The benefit of this study are devide into two categories: practical and theoritical. This psychological analysis study was conducted by referring to Albertine Minderop's theory. This study using descriptive methods and psychoanalysis approach. The data sources in this research is Mariposa novel, while the data are words, phrases and expressions. The data collection in this study uses documentary study technique. Data collections tool in this study is direct research as a key instrument. The analysis shows that 1) the analytic character of the Mariposa novel by Luluk HF. 2) Mariposa's dramatic character novel by Luluk HF. 3) The results are implemented into Indonesian language and art subject matter in basic competencies 3,9 and 4,9 from third grade in high school. Keywords: Character, Psychology, novel

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kinerja dari pengurus koperasi karyawan himpun pt. (persero) pos Indonesia cabang Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi langsung, komunikasi langsung, dan studi dokumenter. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja pengurus adalah faktor tim (team factor) yang mencakup gaya kepemimpinan pengurus dan kerjasama yang dilakukan pengurus koperasi dengan anggota dan pihak luar. Sedangkan faktor sistem (system factor) yang ada dikoperasi tidak berjalan dengan baik. Karena tidak adanya staff khusus yang mengelola dan bertanggung jawab terhadap setiap unit usaha, sehingga pengurus merangkap sebagai pengelola unit usaha yang ada. Kata Kunci: Faktor yang mempengaruhi, Kinerja pengurus, Koperasi                                                                                                        Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the performance of the cooperative board employees gather pt. (Persero) branch of the Indonesian postal Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection techniques using direct observation, direct communication, and documentary studies. The analysis technique used is factor analysis. Based on the results of this study concluded that the most dominant factor in influencing the performance of the board is the factor of the team (team factor) which includes a caretaker leadership style and the cooperation undertaken with the cooperative board members and outsiders. While the system factors (system factor) that is dikoperasi not go well. Due to the lack of specialized staff who manage and be responsible for each business unit, so that the board serves as the manager of an existing business unit. Keyword: Factor that influence, Performance management, Cooverative

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan flipbook terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMPN 2 Sejangkung kelas VII pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan. Bentuk penelitian adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas VII C dan kelas VII B, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel intact group. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda berjumlah 30 butir. Dari hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol adalah 18,74 dan 16,31. Berdasarkan hasil uji t1 diperoleh t1 ≥ nKt1 (2,61≥1,70), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan flipbook dengan siswa yang diajar menggunakan model konvensional berbantuan charta.Nilaieffect sizeyang diperoleh sebesar 0,90 dengan kategori tinggi dan memberikan kontribusi sebesar 31,59% terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Flipbook, Hasil belajar, Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD   Abstract: The aim of this research was to know the influence of cooperative learning model type of STAD helped by flipbook toward the learning outcome of grade VII students in SMPN 2 Sejangkung in materials life organization system. This research was a quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. The samples were VII C and VII B, which was taken by intact group. The instrument was multiple choice test with 30 questions. From the data analysis, student’s mean learning outcome experiment and control class were 18,74 and 16,31. According to t1 test, t1 ≥ nKt1 (2,61 ≥ 1,70), it means there are differences between students who is teaching by cooperative learning model type STAD helped by flipbook with students who is teaching by conventional model helped by charta. Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran ibu yang berstatus single parent sebagai pencari nafkah, pembimbing dan motivator dalam memfasilitasi pendidikan formal di Desa Kalis Raya Kecamatan Kalis Kabupaten Kapuas Hulu. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara dengan alat pengumpulan data panduan observasi, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi.Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa data primer dan sekunder.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pentingnya pendidikan formal bagi anak-anak mereka, agar di kemudian hari nasib mereka tidak seperti orang tuanya yang tidak mengenyam pendidikan formal.   Kata Kunci: Peran, Single Parent, Pendidikan Formal.   Abstract:The purpose of this study was to find out is to find out the role of a mother who is a single parent as breadwinners, mentor and motivator in facilitating formal education in the village Kalis Kalis Raya subdistrict, Kapuas Hulu Regency.The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews with data collection tool guide observation, interview and documentation. Sources of data in this study are primary and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the importance of formal education for their children, so that later on they did not like the fate of her parents who are not formal education.   Keywords: Role, Single Parent, Formal Education.
